Abstract
Es wird ein Wabenkörper als Bauteil bereitgestellt, der eine geringe Bruchanfälligkeit, eine hohe Chemikalienbeständigkeit, eine verbesserte Korrosionsbeständigkeit und eine erhöhte Lebensdauer im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Bauteilen aufweist, wobei hierzu vorgesehen ist, dass der Wabenkörper erste und zweite im Wesentlichen parallel zueinander angeordnete Stirnseiten umfasst, wobei der Wabenkörper eine Wabenstruktur mit einer Vielzahl an parallel zueinander angeordneten Kanälen umfasst, die über Kanalwände aneinander angrenzen, und wobei der Wabenkörper aus einem aus Polytetrafluorethylen (PTFE)-Polymermaterial basierenden ersten Kunststoffmaterial gefertigt ist. Der Wabenkörper ist insbesondere zur Verwendung in Nachverbrennungsanlagen, Nachbereitungsanlagen, in Verfahren zum Betreiben derselben und Verfahren zum Aufkonzentrieren von Inhaltsstoffen in Gasen vorgesehen. Der Wabenkörper ist ferner insbesondere zur Verwendung in Anlagen zur Wasserreinigung, Anlagen zum Abtrennen von sedimentierfähigen Inhaltsstoffen von Fluiden, zur Verwendung als Trägerkörper für ein biologisches Reaktionsmedium, zur Bereitstellung von Sedimentationsflächen, in Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Anlage zur biologischen Wasserreinigung und in Verfahren zum Abtrennen von sedimentierfähigen Inhaltsstoffen aus Fluiden vorgesehen.
