Definitions
- This patent refers to improvements introduced in the technique of encapsulating the area of the strand with anchor plate and anchor nut, applied to the prestressed concrete construction system in its assembly, demoulding, tensioning and final finishing with protection. anti-corrosion of the metal parts, through a set of components applied to current processes and to an innovative process with the implementation of the greased mono-brace prestressing system which establishes a list of individualized and unique components, with special fitting details and unique shapes and sizes.
- Its purpose is to identify special, unique and newly designed components that have full efficiency that can be used individually and to improve the process of greased single-stranded prestressing system and bring advantages that will increase installation speed, calculation response speed, speed in the installation of hydraulic jacks for tensioning the rods, ease of application and perfect tool fittings, improving finish ensuring effective protection for durability, reuse of components, increased work safety and eliminating all the improper process that happens in the preparation and fixing of the anchor plate and subsequent closing and finishing.
- grout or other mortar filling is used, through an impromptu and improper form of wood in a non-standardized procedure, providing height risk without ergonomics, amateur , improvised and time consuming.
- a post-tensioning anchorage plate comprising an anchorage plate and coupling elements for them.
- the anchor plate is constructed of a pair of oppositely disposed protrusions, concentrically aligned cylindricals, or mounting members that protrude from opposite sides of a generally rectangular plate.
- the oppositely arranged bosses define on the inner surface thereof a common tapered bore adapted to receive a cable through the same tensioning post and fixing them for the post tensioning of a concrete section.
- the outer surface of each protrusion is likewise constructed with a circumferential groove adapted to receive a lip protruding into an appropriate plastic cap or tubular adapter fixed thereon. In this way, the plastic cap and tubular adapter can be mounted on opposite sides of the anchor plate in sealed engagement with it to facilitate greater reliability of the post-tensioning anchor plate assembly.
- US Patent 5,079,879 Post-tension Anti-Corrosive Anchor System.
- An extension tubular member protects the tendon and includes a foam injection opening which is adapted for injecting foam material to inhibit tendon corrosion.
- the tubular extension member When sealed against the anchor plate, the tubular extension member further includes a circular ring arranged around it providing a water stop for moisture infiltration after construction of the after-tension assembly.
- An anchor plate cover is also provided to cover the post-tensioned tendon terminal end.
- the plug is constructed with a radially extending rib arranged along the inner edge to interlock engagement with the anchor plate.
- a round cut foam insert is provided in the cap to seal the terminal end of the tendon.
- a post-tensioning anchor assembly comprising a tapered tubular member, cable cap and anchor plate assembly.
- the anchor plate is constructed for live end or dead end attachment to the side wall of a concrete post formation. tensioning a sheathed cable.
- the plate has faces inside and outside constructed to receive mating over the cable or tubular member cover or both. Thus, the strain relief plate unit can be used for both post constructions. outside and intermediate tensioners In the intermediate configuration, the tubular members are fixed to both the inside and outside of the plate with the cable through the extending tensioning thereof.
- Japanese patent JPH1182869 entitled "Corrosion protection method of a steel anchor body for prestressing corrosion prestressed concrete”.
- Problem to be solved to provide a method of corrosion protection from a strain relief body to a prestressed concrete steel product used for a common cable (dc box manhole), a bridge beam, and the like, solution : In this method of corrosion protection from a tension fixing body to a prestressed steel product, a protective cap made of plastic and slightly larger than a tension fixing body is mounted on the tensioning body. tension to divert a projecting prestressed concrete steel product from the end of a predetermined concrete construction, and then the material adhesive resin is filled through a filler opening provided at the end of the cover.
- An anchor for a post tensioning anchor system includes an anchor element with an end surface, a polymeric encapsulation covering the anchor element having a tubular section extending outwardly from the end surface of the anchor element and a an improved lid having a generally tubular body with an open end and a closed end.
- the tubular section of the package includes an inwardly extending protrusion.
- the improved cap has a flange-shaped end adjacent an open end of the cap tubular body. This flanged end has a circumferential surface.
- a locking member is formed on the circumferential surface to detachably engage the protrusion such that the flanged end is fixedly received within the tubular section.
- a compressible seal is affixed within the polymeric encapsulation and extends around the end surface.
- the cap has an annular surface extending around the open end and in compressible contact with the compressible seal when the locking element engages the protrusion.
- a tendon tension anchor comprising a base member having a tubular section extending therefrom, a plastic encapsulation in surface-to-surface contact with the exterior of the base member and a thermal shield secured within the plastic housing adjacent one end of a tubular section extending out of the base member.
- the plastic package opens at the end of this tubular section opposite the base component.
- the plastic package further comprises a tubular portion formed on the side of the base member opposite the tubular section and extends outwardly perpendicular to the base member.
- the heat shield is a rigid element having an outer diameter that corresponds to the outer diameter of the tubular section.
- the heat shield has an inner surface formed to receive a portion of a sealing cap.
- the present invention also includes an extension tube mounted at the end of the tubular portion of the plastic package. A seal is secured within the other end of the extension tubing to create a liquid tight seal with a tendon passing therethrough.
- a post-tension anchor system including an encapsulated anchor having an outwardly extending trumpet portion, a tendon attached to the encapsulated anchor extending through the trumpet portion and a locking tubular body snap-fit with the trumpet portion so as to extend out of the trumpet portion in axial alignment therewith.
- the tubular body has a seal at an end opposite the trumpet portion to form a seal generally impervious to liquids with an outer surface of the tendon.
- the tubular body has a notch formed in an outer surface thereof.
- the trumpet portion has an inwardly extending surface. The inwardly extending surface engages the notch to form a generally liquid tight connection.
- a collar extends around the tubular body on one side of the notch to be in close relationship with the end of the trumpet portion.
