Definitions
- the present invention relates to an elevator brake device.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a brake device including a support for supporting the brake shoe between the brake shoe and the guide member.
- the stroke operation of the brake shoe moving forward and backward is guided by the support (elastic body) being deformed, and the stroke operation of the brake shoe can be made smoother.
- the elastic body guides the stroke operation, the work to be performed on the guide member in order to ensure an optimal gap between the brake shoe and the guide member does not require the high workability as in the past.
- a brake device provided with a shoe guide member capable of adjusting the contact condition with the shoe in order to guide the posture of the brake shoe (see Patent Document 2).
- the gap between the brake shoe and the guide member is designed to be narrow, with the total value of the upper and lower gaps being about a few tenths of a millimeter. Because the impact noise between the brake shoe and the guide member increases, the clearance dimension is strictly controlled at the production site before shipment. However, after installation of the elevator, during brake operation, the gap size may change due to wear or rusting caused by contact between the brake shoe corner end portion and the torque receiving portion, and the brake operation may become unstable. Until now, since the gap dimensions could not be adjusted after shipment from the factory, there was no effective preventive measure for these problems after installation, such as replacing with a new brake shoe. It required extensive construction.
- Patent Document 1 since the apparatus disclosed in Patent Document 1 is a support body that is rigid enough to support the brake torque, it is necessary to devise and remove the support body when replacing the brake shoes. Also, it is necessary to attach the brake shoe using a special jig or a special method. Furthermore, the support body is required to have high reliability in order to support the force and brake torque generated during the brake stroke operation by the elasticity of the support body.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to provide an elevator brake device capable of adjusting a clearance dimension at an installation site during maintenance.
- an elevator brake device includes a brake shoe facing a rotating drum to be braked, a housing that supports torque of the rotating drum received by the brake shoe, A first guide member disposed between the brake shoe and the first end of the housing and supported by only one of the brake shoe and the first end; and the brake shoe and the first end The gap between the other of the first guide member and the first guide member can be adjusted.
- an elevator brake device capable of adjusting the clearance dimension at the installation site during maintenance.

Is arranged. That is, the pair of guide members 7 and 9 are fixed to the upper and lower ends of the housing.
- the clearance between the brake shoe 3 and the other one of the first end 21 (the brake shoe 3 in the first embodiment) and the first guide member 7 is adjustable. Between the first end portion 21 and the first guide member 7, a first adjustment portion 27 relating to a gap between the brake shoe 3 and the first guide member 7 is provided.
- the gap between the other of the brake shoe 3 and the second end portion 25 with respect to the above (the brake shoe 3 in the first embodiment) and the second guide member 9 can be adjusted.
- a second adjustment portion 29 related to the gap between the brake shoe 3 and the second guide member 9 is provided.
- the first adjustment unit 27 is a first gap adjustment gauge disposed between the first end 21 and the first guide member 7.
- the second adjustment portion 29 is also a second gap adjustment gauge disposed between the second end portion 25 and the second guide member 9.
- a plurality of gap adjustment gauges can be used for each of the first gap adjustment gauge and the second gap adjustment gauge.
- a plurality of gap adjusting gauges having thicknesses of 0.10 mm, 0.12 mm, and 0.15 mm are prepared.
- the thicknesses of the entire first gap adjustment gauge and the entire second gap adjustment gauge can be adjusted in units of hundreds of millimeters.
- there is no interference between the other equipment and the tool for example, by forming a groove 5a in the housing as shown in FIG. 3 so that the bolt can be tightened with a tool from the front side of the page.
- the brake shoe 3 moves while being guided by the first guide member 7 and the second guide member 9. Further, during braking, the torque of the rotating drum 11 received by the brake shoe 3 is supported by the first guide member 7, the second guide member 9 and the housing 5.
- ⁇ Assembly of the adjustment part and clearance adjustment are performed as follows. First, the guide member and the gap adjusting gauge are bolted with a gauge thickness that can secure a sufficient gap so that the brake shoe can be inserted. Next, install the brake shoes. Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the gap check gauges 31 are prepared to be thick and thin, and the number and type of the gap check gauges 31 are adjusted so that the thick gauges cannot be inserted and the thin gauges can be inserted. As for the thickness of the gap confirmation gauge 31, a gauge having an upper limit and a lower limit thickness of the gap dimension to be adjusted may be prepared. Since the gap dimension can be adjusted by such simple means, it is possible to suppress variations in the dimension after adjustment by the operator's technique.
- the adjustment mechanism described above makes it possible to adjust the gap dimension in units of several hundredths of a millimeter, so that the mechanical dimension tolerance between the sliding surfaces of the brake shoe and the guide member can be relaxed. Furthermore, the workability of shoe replacement can be improved by changing the gap dimension.
- the guide member may be provided only on one of the upper and lower sides of the housing.
- FIG. 3 is an example in which the guide member is provided only above the brake shoe.
- the housing may include a guide member posture support mechanism 33.
- the guide member posture support mechanism 33 can include a guide member posture fixing bolt that penetrates the housing.

- the guide member may be fixed to the upper and lower brake shoes.
- the guide member may be provided only in the one side of the upper and lower sides of a housing.

- the first adjusting unit 127 and the second adjusting unit 129 each include a special bolt 135 and a lock nut 137.
- the special bolt 135 has a function of supporting the torque that the brake shoe receives from the rotating drum. It is assumed that the special bolt 135 advances and retreats in the axial direction, for example, by turning with a hexagon wrench.
- ⁇ Assembly of the adjustment part and clearance adjustment are performed as follows. First, the amount of protrusion of the special bolt from one of the brake shoe and the housing (the amount of protrusion from the one) is adjusted so as to secure a clearance that allows the brake shoe to be inserted.
