Definitions
- the present invention relates to an all-steel garnish for garnished elements of openers, cleaners, carding or carding.
- the present invention relates to a garniture wire for use on garnished elements such as plates, profiled bars or rolls in fiber processing processes.
- the clothing wire in the form of a sawtooth all-steel garniture is helical and tightly abutted or wound in grooves on the roller.
- plates or profiled bars of the clothing wire is cut according to the dimension of the plates or profile bars into pieces of wire, which are applied tightly against each other on the surface of the plates or profile bars.
- Usual forms of sawtooth all-steel fittings are given in international standard IS05234.
- All-steel sets are characterized according to the norm inter alia by their working angle a, their tooth pitch p and the tooth depth h 6 , the total height of the wire n and the blade width at the top b 3 .
- the working angle ⁇ is the angle between the breast surface and the vertical axis to the wire base, wherein the breast surface represents the, seen in the direction of movement, front tooth surface. Is the working angle 0 ° so that the chest is vertical, respectively vertical, to the wire base.
- a Garnitur wire for garnished elements for use in textile machines wherein the Garniturdraht consists of a foot and a sheet with a total height of the wire n of 1 .5 mm to 15 mm.
- the total height of the wire n is 2 mm to 12 mm, particularly preferably 7.5 mm.
- the blade is with teeth with a tooth depth h 6 of 0.5 mm to 10 mm, preferably the tooth depth h 6 1 mm to 6 mm, particularly preferably 4.5 mm.
- the clothing wire has a tooth pitch p of 1 .5 mm to 15 mm, preferably the tooth pitch p is 2 mm to 12 mm, particularly preferably 10 mm (corresponding to 2.5 tips per inch).
- the teeth are shaped to have a first tip at a first working angle and seen in a second working direction, a second tip at a second working angle, and the first tip connected to the second tip via a concave shaped tip surface. Under a concave shape is a directed towards the foot recess between the first and the second tip.
- the recess may for example be designed as a semi-circular cut or as a nearly rectangular recess.
- a clothing wire for garnished elements in the form of rolls advantageously has a total height n of 5 mm to 15 mm, a tooth depth h 6 of 3 mm to 10 mm and a pitch of 3 mm to 15 mm.
- This advantageous geometry makes it possible to use the clothing wire in a first working direction, as well as in a second working direction opposite the first working direction. If the clothing wire is spirally wound onto a roller, this corresponds to the use of the same clothing wire in one and the other direction of rotation of the roller. By simply turning the garnished elements or the trimmings applied to the elements, the clothing wire can continue to be used in the second working direction.
- the second tip with respect to the first tip is designed with a slightly smaller tooth depth.
- the smaller tooth depth results from a smaller height of the tooth or a lower overall height of the clothing wire at the location of the second tip. This means that the remaining leaf height from the base of the tooth to the leaf is unchanged for the entire course of the tooth base.
- the second tips have a height difference of 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm, preferably 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm, compared to the first tips.
- the first working angle and the second working angle are between -10 ° and 30 °.
- the first and the second working angle adapted to the intended use, can be designed quite differently. It is conceivable that a more aggressive clothing is necessary for a first working direction than in a second working direction. The so-called aggressiveness of a clothing increases with increasing working angle. Teeth with a high working angle engage more strongly in the fiber material to be processed.
- the first working angle and the second working angle are the same size. Thus, the clothing wire, regardless of the working direction, respectively the direction of rotation of the roller, always the same aggressiveness.
- the clothing wire has a tooth length from the first tip to the second tip of 2.5 mm to 7.5 mm, preferably 3 mm to 5 mm, particularly preferably 3.5 mm.
- the tooth length has a significant influence on whether there is an unwanted wear of the second tip when using the first tip. Wear of the second tip when using the first tip in a first working direction also counteracts favorable for the fiber movement shaping of the concave tip surface.
- a tip surface which has a radius of 1 .5 mm to 7 mm has proven to be advantageous. The radius of the tip surface must be adjusted accordingly to the tooth length.
- the blade width b 3 at the tips is adapted to the high load of the clothing wire accordingly.
- the clothing wire has a blade width b 3 at the first and the second tip of 0.05 mm to 1 .5 mm, preferably, the blade width b 3 at the tips of 0.7 mm to 0.9 mm, more preferably 0.8 mm.
- a garniture wire for use in a garnished element in the form of a roll has a sheet width b 3 at the first and second tips of 0.1 mm to 1 .5 mm.
- the tooth root radius is also to be selected according to the use of the clothing wire, wherein a relatively large Zahn groundradius helps that clogging of the tooth base by fibers, dirt or tissue remnants is avoided.
- the basic tooth radius to the first tip is 0.3 mm to 4.0 mm, preferably 2.0 mm to 3.0 mm.
- the tooth base radius to the second peak is the same size as the tooth base radius to the first peak.
- the clothing wire can be made with a normal, locked or interchangeable foot to allow it to be mounted on a smooth roller or in grooves.
- the clothing wire is particularly suitable for garnished elements or rolls of textile machines, such as openers and cleaners or cotton carding or roll carding. When using the Garniturdrahtes on a roller this is wound up spirally. If this roller is made symmetrical in construction, after wear of the first tips of the clothing wire, the roller can be rotated to use the second tips of the clothing wire. In this way, a replacement of the set of a corresponding roller is necessary only after twice the time of use. The same principle applies to the use of the clothing wire on plates or profile bars.

- Figure 1 shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of a clothing wire 1 with a foot 2 and a sheet 3.
- the foot 2 and the sheet 3 extend over the total height n of 7.5 mm.
- the sheet 3 is provided with teeth 4, which are arranged behind each other along the clothing wire 1 at a certain distance, the so-called tooth pitch p.
- the teeth 4 are arranged regularly and in their shape identically along the clothing wire 1 with a tooth pitch p of 10 mm.
- the teeth 4 have a tooth depth h 6 of 4.5 mm and end on the side facing away from the foot 2 in a first tip 5 and a second tip 6.
- the tooth depth h 6 extends from the first tooth tip 5 to the tooth base 8.
- the first Tip 5 is connected to the second tip 6 via a concave tip surface 7.
- the concave tip surface 7 is designed with a round recess with a radius D of 3 mm.
- the tooth 4, at the location of the second tip 6, has a smaller tooth depth than the tooth depth h 6 at the location of the first tooth tip 5.
- This height difference between the second tooth tip 6 and the first tooth tip 5 results in a height difference E of 0.02 to 0.5 mm.
- the height difference E results from a lower overall height of the clothing wire 1 at the location of the second tip 6 with respect to the total height h 6 at the first tip 6 of the tooth 4.
- the tooth base 8 always has the same distance from the foot 2.
- the tooth 4 has a tooth length C of 3.5 mm, wherein the tooth length C corresponds to the distance from the first tip 5 to the second tip 6 of the tooth 4.
- the working angle ⁇ is the angle between the breast surface 9 and the wire-based vertical axis. Seen in a first working direction X, the working angle ⁇ is shown at 10 ° and in a second working direction Y the working angle ⁇ is likewise 10 °.
- the breast surface 9 to be seen in the first working direction X is connected to the tooth base 8 with a tooth root radius G of 2 mm. In the second working direction Y, a tooth root radius of 2 mm is also provided.
- the embodiment shown thus represents, apart from the height difference E between the second tip 6 and the first tip 5, a symmetrical in shape 4 tooth.
