Description

光学系、撮像装置、内視鏡システム、及び測距離システム
 本発明は、複数の基線方向の視差画像を同時に得られる光学系、撮像装置、内視鏡システム、及び測距離システムに関する。
 従来、複数の基線方向の視差画像を同時に得られる光学系が開示されている(特許文献1参照)。
特許4611111号公報
 特許文献1に記載された技術は、前群のプリズム体内で一回結像するものであり、一回結像された像を再度リレーして結像するため、後群に負担がかかり物像間距離を長くしたり、構成枚数を多くしないと収差補正ができず、光路長が長くなり、大型になる場合があった。
 本発明は、上述した事情に鑑みてなされたものであって、小型で観察画角が広く、物体面を複数の基線方向から観察する視差のある像を結像することが可能な光学系、撮像装置、内視鏡システム、及び測距離システムを提供することを目的としている。
 本発明の一実施形態である光学系は、

 本実施形態の光学系1について説明する。
 図1は、本発明に係る一実施形態の光学系1の回転対称軸Cに沿ってとった断面図である。図2は、本発明に係る一実施形態の光学系の開口付近を拡大して回転対称軸に沿ってとった断面図である。図3は、本発明に係る一実施形態の光学系1の回転対称軸Cに沿ってとった前群Gfの断面図である。
 本実施形態の光学系1は、像面Imの中心を通る単一の回転対称軸C上に配置された回転対称な前群Gfと、回転対称な複数のレンズLb1~Lb7を有する後群Gbと、開口Sと、を備え、前群Gfは、2つの内部反射面と2つの透過面を有し、少なくとも一つの物体面Obから前群Gfに入射する光束は、透明体Lfの第1透過面11に入射し、第1反射面12で反射し、第2反射面13で反射し、第2透過面14から射出する光路を形成し、後群Gbと開口Sを通過し、回転対称軸Cを含む断面内で中間結像すること無く、像面Imの回転対称軸Cから離れた位置に結像する。中心主光線Lcは、観察画角の中心から第1透過面11に入射し、開口Sの中心を通る光線とする。
 一般に、光学系1は、光学部品の全てを回転対称な光学素子で構成することにより、組み立て調整が容易になる。しかし、視差のある像を結像することができなくなるために、立体視をすることができなかった。
 本実施形態の光学系1における開口Sは、前群Gfの透明体Lfの二つの反射面によって物体側に円環状の入射瞳を形成することにより、複数の基線方向の視差を形成する。そして、回転対称な後群Gbが前群Gfから射出した複数の基線方向の視差を有する光束を像面Imに結像する。すなわち、図1に示した光学系1は、回転対称軸Cを含む光束が重なる部分の物体を立体視することが可能である。
 前群Gfは、第1反射面12と第2の反射面13からなる偶数回反射の透明体Lfで構成することにより、左右が反転する鏡像になることを防げ、立体観察する場合に好ましい。さらに、第1透過面11と第2透過面14で構成し、屈折率が1より大きい透明体Lfで構成することにより、反射面12,13を内部反射面とすることにより、交差することなく2回反射する所謂Z字状の光路を形成し、それぞれの反射面12,13への光線入射角を小さくすることが可能となり、反射面12,13に斜めに光線が入射することにより発生する偏心収差の発生を少なくすることができる。
 前群Gfは、回転体対称軸Cを含むサジタル面では倍率の小さいアフォーカル系として働き、物体側からの広い観察画角を狭い画角の光束に縮小して後群Gbに導き結像させる働きを有する。
 さらに、前群Gfを中間結像しない構成にして前群Gfから射出される光束をほぼ平行光束とすることにより、後群Gbはこの画角の狭くなった平行光束を結像すれば良いだけになるので、後群Gbの負担が少なくなり全長を短く構成することが可能となる。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1では、前群Gfの第1反射面12は、物体側に凸面を向けた負のパワーを有することが好ましい。
 入射瞳の実像を前群Gfに投影しない光学系1では、観察画角を広く取ろうとすると、前群Gfの有効径が大きくなってしまう問題がある。そこで、第1反射面12に回転対称軸を含むサジタル面では物体側に凸面を向けた強い負のパワーを持たせ、画角の広い光束を狭い画角の光束にして第1反射面12以降の光学面の有効径を小さくすることが重要である。加えて、第1透過面11を透過するときに屈折率1以上の媒質に入射させることによって画角を狭くする効果があり、第2反射面13と第2透過面14の有効径を小さく抑えて比較的小型の前群Gfでありながら広い観察画角を取ることが可能となる。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1は、前群Gfでは、回転対称軸Cに対して、第1透過面11が第2反射面13より外側に配置され、第1反射面12が第2透過面14より外側に配置されていることが好ましい。
 回転対称軸Cに対して、第1透過面11を第2反射面13の外側に配置することにより、第2反射面13を回転対称軸Cの近傍に配置することが可能となり、第2反射面13への光束の入射角を小さくして、第2反射面13で発生する偏心収差を小さくすることが可能となる。
 さらに、前群Gfの第1反射面12を第2透過面14の外側に配置することにより、前群Gfを射出する回転対称軸Cを挟んで上下二つの光束のお互いになす角度を小さくして後群Gbに射出させることが可能となり、後群Gbに入射する光の画角が狭くなり後群Gbの収差補正の負担が著しく小さくなる。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1は、観察画角の中心から第1透過面11に入射し、開口Sの中心を通る中心主光線Lcの前群Gfにおける光路は、回転対称軸Cと交差しないことが好ましい。
 第1透過面11における中心主光線Lcが透過する位置と、第2反射面13における中心主光線Lcが反射する位置との回転対称軸Cに直交する方向での距離が短くなり、第1反射面12の入射角を小さくすることができ、偏心収差の発生を少なくできる。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1は、第1透過面11の回転対称軸Cに対して垂直な方向において、物体面Obから前群Gfに入射し像面Imに結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD1、第2反射面13の回転対称軸Cに対して垂直な方向において、物体面Obから前群Gfに入射し像面Imに結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD2、とすると、以下の条件式(1)を満足することが好ましい。
  0.05 < D2/D1 < 1     (1)
 条件式(1)は、第1透過面11を大きくし、第2反射面13を小さくする条件であり、像面湾曲の補正と有効径を小さくしつつ、広い観察画角を取るために必要となる条件である。条件式(1)の上限を上回ると、第2反射面13で大きくなってしまい、相対的に第1透過面11が小さくなり、光線の角度が広く取れず、広角の光学系1を構成することができない。条件式(1)の下限を上回ると、第2反射面13が小さくなりすぎ必要な像高が得られる解像力の良い像を結像できない。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1は、第1透過面11の回転対称軸Cに対して垂直な方向において、物体面Obから前群Gfに入射し、像面Imに結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD1、第1透過面11の回転対称軸Cに対して平行な方向において、物体面Obから前群Gfに入射し、像面Imに結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD3、とすると、以下の条件式(2)を満足することが好ましい。
  0.2 < D1/D3 < 5      (2)
 条件式(2)は、第1透過面11の傾きに関するものであり、条件式(2)の上限を上回ると、第1透過面11の傾きが回転対称軸Cに対して小さくなり、外側の画角を広く取ることが難しくなる。条件式(2)の下限を下回ると、今度は第1透過面11の傾きが大きくなり、視差情報を有する画角が広くとれなくなる。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1は、前群Gfの第1透過面11は、物体側に凸面を向けた正のパワーを有することが好ましい。
 第1反射面12は、第2反射面13と第2透過面14の有効径を小さくするため及び観察画角を広く取るために、物体側に凸面を向けた反射面で構成するが、像面湾曲は反射後の光線が進行方向で像側に凸面を向けた方向に強く発生する。
 これを補正するためには、第1透過面11を物体側に凸面を向けた正のパワーを与えることが好ましい。これにより第1反射面12とは逆の像側に凸面を向けた像面湾曲を発生させ、打ち消し合うことが可能となる。さらに第1透過面11を凸面で構成することにより像歪の発生も小さくすることが可能となる。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1は、前群Gfの少なくとも1面は、回転対称自由曲面で構成されていることが好ましい。
 少なくとも1面を回転対称自由曲面で構成することにより、像歪の補正の自由度が大きくなり、像歪の低減に効果がある。特に、第1透過面11を回転対称自由曲面で構成することが望ましい。
 また、本実施形態の光学系1は、後群Gbの少なくとも1面は、回転対称自由曲面で構成されていることが好ましい。
 第1透過面11で発生する回転対称軸Cの近傍ほど大きく発生する色収差を補正するために、後群Gbに回転対称自由曲面の面を配置することが色収差補正上好ましい。
  以下に、本発明の光学系1の実施例1~4を説明する。これら光学系の構成パラメータは後記する。これら実施例の構成パラメータは、例えば図1に示すように、物体面から前群Gfと後群Gbを経て像面Imに至る順光線追跡の結果に基づくものである。
  座標系は、順光線追跡において、実施例1~4では、例えば図1に示すように、絞り面Sと回転対称軸Cが交差する位置を偏心光学系の偏心光学面の原点Oとし、回転対称軸(中心軸)Cの光の進行方向に沿う方向をZ軸正方向とし、図1の紙面に対応するZ軸と像面Imの中心を含む平面をY-Z平面とする。原点Oを通りY-Z平面に直交する方向をX軸正方向とし、X軸、Z軸と右手直交座標系を構成し、原点Oから像面Imの中心に近づく方向に向かう軸をY軸とする。
  偏心面については、その面が定義される座標系の上記光学系の原点の中心からの偏心量(X軸方向、Y軸方向、Z軸方向をそれぞれX,Y,Z)と、光学系の原点に定義される座標系のX軸、Y軸、Z軸それぞれを中心とする各面を定義する座標系の傾き角(それぞれα,β,γ(°))とが与えられている。その場合、αとβの正はそれぞれの軸の正方向に対して反時計回りを、γの正はZ軸の正方向に対して時計回りを意味する。なお、面の中心軸のα,β,γの回転のさせ方は、各面を定義する座標系を光学系の原点に定義される座標系のまずX軸の回りで反時計回りにα回転させ、次に、その回転した新たな座標系のY軸の回りで反時計回りにβ回転させ、次いで、その回転した別の新たな座標系のZ軸の回りで時計回りにγ回転させるものである。
  また、各実施例の光学系を構成する光学作用面の中、特定の面とそれに続く面が共軸光学系を構成する場合には面間隔が与えられており、その他、面の曲率半径、媒質の屈折率、アッベ数が慣用法に従って与えられている。
  なお、後記の構成パラメータ中にデータの記載されていない非球面に関する項は0である。屈折率、アッベ数については、d線(波長587.56nm)に対するものを表記してある。長さの単位はmmである。各面の偏心は、上記のように、入射瞳2を回転対称軸(中心軸)1に投影した位置からの偏心量で表わす。
  なお、非球面は、以下の定義式で与えられる回転対称非球面である。

  ただし、Zを光の進行方向を正とした光軸(軸上主光線)とし、Yを光軸と垂直な方向にとる。ここで、Rは近軸曲率半径、kは円錐定数、a、b、c、d、…はそれぞれ4次、6次、8次、10次の非球面係数である。この定義式のZ軸が回転対称非球面の軸となる。
  また、拡張回転自由曲面は、以下の定義で与えられる回転対称面である。
  まず、Y-Z座標面上で原点を通る下記の曲線(b)が定められる。

  次いで、この曲線(c)をX軸正方向を向いて左回りを正として角度θ(°)回転した曲線F(Y)が定められる。この曲線F(Y)もY-Z座標面上で原点を通る。
  その曲線F(Y)をY正方向に距離R(負のときはY負方向)だけ平行移動し、その後にZ軸の周りでその平行移動した曲線を回転させてできる回転対称面を拡張回転自由曲面とする。
  その結果、拡張回転自由曲面はY-Z面内で自由曲面(自由曲線)になり、X-Y面内で半径|R|の円になる。
  この定義からZ軸が拡張回転自由曲面の軸(回転対称軸)となる。
  ここで、RYはY-Z断面での球面項の曲率半径、Cは円錐定数、C、C、C、C…はそれぞれ1次、2次、3次、4次…の非球面係数である。
  実施例1を用いて、座標系についてさらに説明する。
  図4及び図5は、本発明に係る一実施形態の光学系の座標系及び拡張回転自由曲面を説明する一例の断面図である。
 本実施形態の光学系1は、唯一の回転対称軸Cに対して全ての面が回転対称なので、回転対称軸Cを含む断面では上下二つの光路が存在するが、図4に示すように、慣用に従い下側から入射する光線に付いて面の配置と光路に付いて説明する。
 本実施形態では下側光線の観察画角は-40°から+80°であり、設計の便宜上中心である+20°を画角中心として、観察画角中心の光束の中から開口中心を通る光線を中心主光線Lcとし、この中心主光線Lcを基準として設計している。
 物体面Obの面間隔は20mmで、面番号1から4面の面間隔は全て0なので、物体面Obから20mmの距離に仮想面の第5面がある。拡張回転自由曲面である第1面から第3面は物体面Obから20mm像側の仮想面である第5面のある位置からの偏心で第1~3面の原点が与えられる。
 第1面は第5面から偏心(1)で与えられるY軸方向に-4.500mm下がって、Z軸方向に-3.154mm左の場所に原点Oがあり、角度は+50.481°傾いて配置される。
 面の形状は曲率半径22.601mmで、非球面の円錐定数に相当するC1項は8.2015E+0、3乗項であるC4項は、2.0201E-3である。第1面は最後にZ軸を回転対称軸Cとして回転して得られる回転対称面である。
 拡張回転自由曲面は中心主光線Lc上に各面の原点を有し、偏心Yは中心主光線LcのY軸方向の高さに相当する。これは設計上の問題であり、中心主光線Lcと原点を一致させる必要は無く任意に定めることが可能である。
 第2面、第3面も同様に拡張回転自由曲面である。第4面は、第5面と同一場所に配置された通常の非球面である。第6面は絞りで、第4面及び第5面と同一位置に配置され、第6面の面間隔で第7面の位置が決定され、以降第15面までは通常の球面レンズ系と同じである。後群の像側の第16面~第18面の3面も拡張回転自由曲面であり、Z軸に沿って面間隔とY偏心、傾き角αで示す。最後に第18面の面間隔で中心主光線Lcが当たる拡張回転自由曲面と像面Imとの間隔が与えられる。実施例1は、後群も拡張回転自由曲面で構成することにより、特に倍率の色収差の補正がよくなされている。
 一般に倍率の色収差は回転対称軸Cから離れ、像高が高くなると大きく発生し、アッベ数の異なる接合レンズで補正される。本実施例のように第1透過面11に入射する画角-40°の光束が後群Gbの回転対称軸Cの近い所を通過する光学系1においては回転対称軸Cに近い像高の低い部分で倍率の色を補正する手段として回転対称自由曲面を用いている。
  図6は、実施例1の光学系1の回転対称軸Cを含む断面図を示す。ただし、図6では断面内の中心軸Cに対して片側に入射する光路のみを図示しており、中心軸Cに対して対称な光路も同時に存在するが、図示は省いてある。図7は、実施例1の光学系1の横収差図を示す。
  実施例1の光学系1は、像面Imの中心を通る単一の回転対称軸C上に配置された回転対称な前群Gfと、回転対称な後群Gbと、開口Sと、を備え、前群Gfは、2つの内部反射面と2つの透過面を有し、少なくとも一つの物体面から前群Gfに入射する光束は、第1透過面11に入射し、第1反射面12で反射し、第2反射面13で反射し、第2透過面14から射出する光路を形成し、後群Gbと開口Sを通過し、回転対称軸Cを含む断面内で中間結像すること無く、像面Imの回転対称軸Cから離れた位置に結像する。
 実施例1の前群Gfは、前群透明体Lfを有する。前群透明体Lfでは、回転対称軸に対して、第1透過面11が第2反射面13より外側に配置され、第1反射面12が第2透過面14より外側に配置されている。
 前群透明体Lfにおいて、第1透過面11、第1反射面12、及び第2反射面13は、拡張回転自由曲面からなり、第2透過面14は非球面からなる。光路上、第1透過面11は物体側に凸面を向けた正のパワーを有し、第1反射面12は物体側に凸面を向けた負のパワーを有し、第2反射面13は像側に凸を向けた負のパワーを有し、第2透過面14は像側に凸面を向けた正のパワーを有する。
 実施例1の後群Gbは、両凹負レンズLb1と両凸正レンズLb2の接合レンズSUb1と、両凸正レンズLb3と、物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズLb4と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズLb5と、両面が拡張回転自由曲面からなる第1後群透明体Lb6と両面が拡張回転自由曲面からなる第2後群透明体Lb7とを接合した接合透明体SUb2と、からなる。
 観察画角の中心から第1透過面11に入射し、開口Sの中心を通る中心主光線Lcの光路は、前群Gfで回転対称軸Cと交差せず、開口Sの中心で回転対称軸Cと交差し、後群Gbで回転対称軸Cと交差しない。
  実施例1の光学系1では、後群Gbの拡張回転自由曲面の接合透明体SUb2で倍率の色を補正しているものである。実施例1の光学系1では、反射面を使用した前群Gfで発生する物体側に凸の像面湾曲が後群で発生する像面湾曲と打ち消し合うようにすることにより、後群を簡単な構成にすることが可能となる。
  図8は、実施例2の光学系1の回転対称軸Cを含む断面図を示す。ただし、図8では断面内の中心軸Cに対して片側に入射する光路のみを図示しており、中心軸Cに対して対称な光路も同時に存在するが、図示は省いてある。図9は、実施例2の光学系1の横収差図を示す。
  実施例2の光学系1は、像面Imの中心を通る単一の回転対称軸C上に配置された回転対称な前群Gfと、回転対称な後群Gbと、開口Sと、を備え、前群Gfは、2つの内部反射面と2つの透過面を有し、少なくとも一つの物体面から前群Gfに入射する光束は、第1透過面11に入射し、第1反射面12で反射し、第2反射面13で反射し、第2透過面14から射出する光路を形成し、後群Gbと開口Sを通過し、回転対称軸Cを含む断面内で中間結像すること無く、像面Imの回転対称軸Cから離れた位置に結像する。
 実施例2の前群Gfは、前群透明体Lfを有する。前群透明体Lfでは、回転対称軸に対して、第1透過面11が第2反射面13より外側に配置され、第1反射面12が第2透過面14より外側に配置されている。
 前群透明体Lfにおいて、第1透過面11、第1反射面12、及び第2反射面13は、拡張回転自由曲面からなる。光路上、第1透過面11は物体側に凸面を向けた正のパワーを有し、第1反射面12は物体側に凸面を向けた負のパワーを有し、第2反射面13は像側に凸を向けた負のパワーを有し、第2透過面14は像側に凸面を向けた正のパワーを有する。
 実施例2の後群Gbは、両凹負レンズLb1と両凸正レンズLb2の接合レンズSUb1と、両凸正レンズLb3と、両面が非球面からなる第1後群透明体Lb4と両面が非球面からなる第2後群透明体Lb7とを接合した接合透明体SUb2と、からなる。
 観察画角の中心から第1透過面11に入射し、開口Sの中心を通る中心主光線Lcの光路は、前群Gfで回転対称軸Cと交差せず、開口Sの中心で回転対称軸Cと交差し、後群Gbで回転対称軸Cと交差しない。
 実施例2の光学系1では、後群Gbの回転対称な非球面で倍率の色を補正しているものである。
  図10は、実施例3の光学系1の回転対称軸Cを含む断面図を示す。ただし、図10では断面内の中心軸Cに対して片側に入射する光路のみを図示しており、中心軸Cに対して対称な光路も同時に存在するが、図示は省いてある。図11は、実施例3の光学系1の横収差図を示す。
  実施例3の光学系1は、像面Imの中心を通る単一の回転対称軸C上に配置された回転対称な前群Gfと、回転対称な後群Gbと、開口Sと、を備え、前群Gfは、2つの内部反射面と2つの透過面を有し、少なくとも一つの物体面から前群Gfに入射する光束は、第1透過面11に入射し、第1反射面12で反射し、第2反射面13で反射し、第2透過面14から射出する光路を形成し、後群Gbと開口Sを通過し、回転対称軸Cを含む断面内で中間結像すること無く、像面Imの回転対称軸Cから離れた位置に結像する。

 観察画角の中心から第1透過面11に入射し、開口Sの中心を通る中心主光線Lcの光路は、前群Gfで回転対称軸Cと交差せず、開口Sの中心で回転対称軸Cと交差し、後群Gbで回転対称軸Cと交差しない。
 実施例3の光学系1では、後群Gbをさらに簡素化したものである。
  図12は、実施例4の光学系1の回転対称軸Cを含む断面図を示す。ただし、図12では断面内の中心軸Cに対して片側に入射する光路のみを図示しており、中心軸Cに対して対称な光路も同時に存在するが、図示は省いてある。図13は、実施例4の光学系1の横収差図を示す。
  実施例4の光学系1は、像面Imの中心を通る単一の回転対称軸C上に配置された回転対称な前群Gfと、回転対称な後群Gbと、開口Sと、を備え、前群Gfは、2つの内部反射面と2つの透過面を有し、少なくとも一つの物体面から前群Gfに入射する光束は、第1透過面11に入射し、第1反射面12で反射し、第2反射面13で反射し、第2透過面14から射出する光路を形成し、後群Gbと開口Sを通過し、回転対称軸Cを含む断面内で中間結像すること無く、像面Imの回転対称軸Cから離れた位置に結像する。
 実施例4の前群Gfは、前群透明体Lfを有する。前群透明体Lfでは、回転対称軸に対して、第1透過面11が第2反射面13より外側に配置され、第1反射面12が第2透過面14より外側に配置されている。

 観察画角の中心から第1透過面11に入射し、開口Sの中心を通る中心主光線Lcの光路は、前群Gfで回転対称軸Cと交差せず、開口Sの中心で回転対称軸Cと交差し、後群Gbで回転対称軸Cと交差しない。
 実施例4の光学系1では、後群Gbの回転対称な非球面で倍率の色を補正しているものである。実施例4の光学系1は、観察画角を±45°とし、全画角で立体視が可能な例である。また、中心主光線Lcは、画角0の光線となっている。
  以下に、上記実施例1~4の構成パラメータを示す。なお、以下の表中の"ERFS"は拡張回転自由曲面をそれぞれ示す。

 各実施例の光学系1は、物点距離が20mmで設計されているが、像面位置を移動させることによって、無限遠又は任意の距離に容易に変更することが可能である。
 また、回転対称軸C上の物点から射出する光束は輪帯状の入射瞳に円錐状に入射し、光学系1を通過して像面Im上に円として結像する。このため収差図の第2像高のX方向サジタル面(回転対称軸と直交する断面)は円弧方向となり収差が著しく大きくなる。
 図14は、本実施形態の光学系1を用いた撮像装置2の主要部の内部回路を示すブロック図である。
 図14に示されるように、撮像装置2は、操作部21と、この操作部21に接続された制御部22と、この制御部22の制御信号出力ポートにバス23及び24を介して接続された撮像駆動回路25並びに一時記憶メモリ26、画像処理部27、記憶部28を備えている。
 上記の一時記憶メモリ26、画像処理部27、記憶部28は、バス31を介して相互にデータの入力、出力が可能とされている。また、撮像駆動回路25には、CCD等の撮像素子32とCDS/ADC部33が接続されている。
 操作部21は、各種の入力ボタンやスイッチを備え、これらを介して操作者から入力されるイベント情報を制御部22に通知する。制御部22は、例えばCPUなどからなる中央演算処理装置であって、不図示のプログラムメモリを内蔵し、プログラムメモリに格納されているプログラムに従って、撮像装置2を制御する。
 撮像素子32は、撮像駆動回路25により駆動制御され、光学系1を介して形成された物体像の画素ごとの光量を電気信号に変換し、CDS/ADC部33に出力する。
 CDS/ADC部33は、撮像素子32から入力される電気信号を増幅し、かつ、アナログ/デジタル変換を行って、この増幅とデジタル変換を行っただけの映像生データ(ベイヤーデータ、以下RAWデータという。)を一時記憶メモリ26に出力する回路である。
 一時記憶メモリ26は、例えばSDRAM等からなるバッファであり、CDS/ADC部33から出力されるRAWデータを一時的に記憶するメモリ装置である。
 画像処理部27は、一時記憶メモリ26に記憶されたRAWデータ又は記憶部28に記憶されているRAWデータを読み出して、制御部22にて指定された画質パラメータに基づいて歪曲収差補正を含む各種画像処理を電気的に行う回路である。
 記憶部28は、例えばフラッシュメモリ等からなるカード型又はスティック型の記憶媒体を着脱自在に装着して、これらのフラッシュメモリに、一時記憶メモリ26から転送されるRAWデータや画像処理部27で画像処理された画像データを記録して保持する。
 このように構成された撮像装置2は、本実施形態の光学系1を採用することで、小型で動画撮像に適したものとすることが可能となる。
 図15は、本実施形態の光学系1を硬性内視鏡先端の撮影光学系として用いた内視鏡システム4を示す図である。
 図15(a)は、硬性内視鏡41の長尺部41aの先端に本実施形態にかかる光学系1を取り付けて画像を立体的に撮像観察する内視鏡システム4である。図15(b)にその先端の概略の構成を示す。硬性内視鏡4の先端には、本実施形態にかかる光学系1を設置し、光学系1の像面に撮像素子32を設置する。撮像素子32に形成された画像は、画素ごとの光量が電気信号に変換され、図14に示した撮像装置2の各電子部品を介して図示しない表示部に表示される。すなわち、内視鏡システム4は、硬性内視鏡41に内蔵された光学系1を用いた図14に示したような撮像装置2と図示しない表示部を含む。表示部は、液晶表示モニター等にて構成され、撮影したRAWデータ、画像データや操作メニューなどを表示してもよい。なお、撮像装置2の主要電子部品は、硬性内視鏡41の先端に内蔵される必要はなく、図15(a)に示した操作部21又は別体のケース内等に設けてもよい。
 図16は、本実施形態の光学系1を軟性内視鏡先端の撮影光学系として用いた内視鏡システム4を示す図である。
 図16に示す例は、軟性電子内視鏡42の長尺部42aの先端に本実施形態にかかる光学系1を取り付けて、図14に示した撮像素子32に形成された画像を、表示部29に画像処理を施して歪みを補正して立体的に表示するようにした内視鏡システム4である。すなわち、内視鏡システム4は、軟性内視鏡42に内蔵された光学系1を用いた図14に示した撮像装置2と表示部29を含む。表示部29は、液晶表示モニター等にて構成され、撮影したRAWデータ、画像データや操作メニューなどを表示してもよい。なお、撮像装置2の主要電子部品は、軟性電子内視鏡42の先端に内蔵される必要はなく、図16に示したように、操作部21又は別体のケース42b内等に設けてもよい。
 このように、内視鏡システム4は、光学系1を用いた撮像装置2及び表示部29を含むことにより、画像を立体的に撮像観察することが可能となる。なお、内視鏡システム4は、カプセル内部に収納した光学系1を経て撮像素子32に形成された画像信号を無線でカプセル外部に送信し、カプセル外部の表示部に送信された画像を表示させるようなカプセル内視鏡で構成してもよい。
 図17は、本実施形態の光学系1を自動車の測距離システム5として用いた例を示す図である。図18は、本実施形態の光学系1を用いた測距離システム5のブロック図である。
 図17(a)は、自動車50の前方に本実施形態にかかる撮像装置2の光学系1を取り付けて、自動車前方を撮像し、図14に示したように各電子部品を介して画像処理を施して歪みを補正した後、図18に示した距離演算装置によって演算処理し、前方の車両等の対象物との距離を求める。また、図示しない車内の表示装置に各光学系1を経て撮像された画像を表示してもよい。さらに、測距離システム5は、速度情報検出部60から車両の速度又は加速度等を求め、対象物との距離と速度又は加速度等の関係から前方の対象物に衝突するおそれがあると判断した場合に自動で制動する自動制動装置61に適用してもよい。また、前方の対象物に衝突するおそれがあると判断した場合に警報を鳴らす警報装置62に適用してもよい。
 図17(b)は、自動車50の各コーナやヘッド部のポールの頂部に本実施形態にかかる光学系1を複数取り付けた例である。この場合も、測距離システム5は、図14に示したように各電子部品を介して画像処理を施して歪みを補正した後、図18に示した距離演算装置によって演算処理し、対象物との距離を求めることができる。また、図示しない車内の表示装置に各光学系1を経て撮像された画像を表示してもよい。さらに、測距離システム5は、速度情報検出部61から車両の速度又は加速度等を求め、対象物との距離と速度又は加速度等の関係から前方の対象物に衝突するおそれがあると判断した場合に自動で制動する自動制動装置60に適用してもよい。また、対象物に衝突するおそれがあると判断した場合に警報を鳴らす警報装置62に適用してもよい。
 なお、本実施形態の光学系1を含む撮像装置2を用いた測距離システム5は、高解像な像を取得することができるので、特に小さな対象物であっても距離を測定することが可能である。
 なお、この実施形態によって本発明は限定されるものではない。すなわち、実施形態の説明に当たって、例示のために特定の詳細な内容が多く含まれるが、当業者であれば、これらの詳細な内容に色々なバリエーションや変更を加えても、本発明の範囲を超えないことは理解できよう。従って、本発明の例示的な実施形態は、権利請求された発明に対して、一般性を失わせることなく、また、何ら限定をすることもなく、述べられたものである。

Claims (13)

  1.  像面の中心を通る単一の回転対称軸上に配置された回転対称な前群と、
     回転対称な後群と、
     開口と、
    を備え、
     前記前群は、2つの内部反射面と2つの透過面を有し、
     少なくとも一つの物体面から前記前群に入射する光束は、第1透過面に入射し、第1反射面で反射し、第2反射面で反射し、第2透過面から射出する光路を形成し、
     前記後群と前記開口を通過し、
     前記回転対称軸を含む断面内で中間結像すること無く、前記像面の前記回転対称軸から離れた位置に結像する
    ことを特徴とする光学系。
  2.  前記前群の前記第1反射面は、物体側に凸面を向けた負のパワーを有する
    請求項1に記載の光学系。
  3.  前記前群では、前記回転対称軸に対して、
      前記第1透過面が前記第2反射面より外側に配置され、
      前記第1反射面が前記第2透過面より外側に配置されている
    請求項2に記載の光学系。
  4.  観察画角の中心から前記第1透過面に入射し、前記開口の中心を通る中心主光線の前記前群における光路は、前記回転対称軸と交差しない
    請求項2又は3に記載の光学系。
  5.  前記第1透過面の前記回転対称軸に対して垂直な方向において、前記物体面から前記前群に入射し前記像面に結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD1、

     前記第2反射面の前記回転対称軸に対して垂直な方向において、前記物体面から前記前群に入射し前記像面に結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD2、
    とすると、
    以下の条件式(1)を満足する
    請求項1乃至4のいずれか1つに記載の光学系。

  6.  前記第1透過面の前記回転対称軸に対して垂直な方向において、前記物体面から前記前群に入射し、前記像面に結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD1、

     前記第1透過面の前記回転対称軸に対して平行な方向において、前記物体面から前記前群に入射し、前記像面に結像する光路が形成される有効領域の幅をD3、
    とすると、以下の条件式(2)を満足する
    請求項1乃至5のいずれか1つに記載の光学系。

  7.  前記前群の前記第1透過面は、物体側に凸面を向けた正のパワーを有する

  8.  前記前群の少なくとも1面は、回転対称自由曲面で構成されている
    請求項1乃至7のいずれか1つに記載の光学系。
  9.  前記後群の少なくとも1面は、回転対称自由曲面で構成されている
    請求項8に記載の光学系。
  10.  請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の光学系と、
     前記光学系を介して形成された画像の画素ごとの光量を電気信号に変換する撮像素子と、
    を備える撮像装置。
  11.  前記撮像装置を操作する操作部と、
     前記操作部からの信号に基づいて前記撮像装置を制御する制御部と、
     前記撮像素子からの電気信号を処理し画像を取得する画像処理部と、
     前記取得した画像を記録する記録部と、
    を備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の撮像装置。
  12.  請求項10又は11に記載の撮像装置と、
     前記画像を表示する表示部と、
    を備えること特徴とする内視鏡システム。
  13.  請求項10又は11に記載の撮像装置と、
     前記撮像装置が取得した対象物の撮影画像に画像処理を施した後、演算処理し、前記対象物との距離を求める距離演算装置と、
    を備えることを特徴とする測距離システム。
