  本メッセージサービスを利用しようとする者は、自分の携帯端末（スマートフォン、タブレット端末、パーソナルコンピューター、携帯ゲーム機など）に本アプリをダウンロードしてインストールするとともに、本メッセージサービスを提供するサイト（これを本サービスサイトと称することがある）にアクセスし、アカウント登録手続きをする。
  父・母・娘・息子の４人家族で本メッセージサービスを利用する場合を一例とすると、各人は自分の情報端末（これを端末と略称することがある）に本アプリをインストールしてアカウントを取得し、この４人で１つのグループを構成することを本サービスサイトに登録する。このグループ登録を行うことで、この４人家族は、各人の端末で本アプリを起動して本サービスサイトにアクセスし、文字メッセージを投稿したり、家族の投稿を読むことができる。
  ここまで説明したメッセージサービスの概要は世界中で多くの人々に利用されている周知慣用のサービスとまったく同じであり、各種のサービス商品におけるユーザーインタフェース（ＵＩ）デザインやユーザーエクスペリエンス（ＵＸ）デザインの類似点や相違点についても多くの人々によく知られているところである。
  また、こうしたメッセージサービスの分散コンピューティングのシステム構築にたずさわっている多くのコンピューティング技術者にとって、この種の分散コンピューティングのアーキテクチャや論理構成は周知慣用の常識的な技術事項である。この明細書においては、当該技術分野の一般的なコンピューティング技術者にとって自明である技術事項について逐一文章化することはできるだけ避け、この発明の核心部分に関わる事項について必要に応じて説明することとする。
＝＝＝実施例の概要＝＝＝
  上述した４人家族の例をひきながら、本メッセージサービスにおける閲覧投稿画面の実施例について順次説明する。この実施例はつぎのように構成されている。
（Ａ）投稿閲覧画面上に設定された掲示板エリアに１個の投稿文しか表示されない。２個以上の投稿文が同時に表示されることはない。利用者が表示対象を切り替える指示入力をすることで、別の１個の投稿文が表示対象となる。
（Ｂ）４人家族のそれぞれの写真画像あるいはイラスト画像あるいはシンボルマークなどからなる個人表象のデータを本サービスサイトに登録しておき（アカウント登録手続きの一環として行う）、投稿閲覧画面上の上記掲示板エリアのまわりに４人の個人表象が同時に表示される。以下では、表示された個人表象のことをアイコンと称することがある。
  ４人家族全員のアイコンが掲示板エリアのまわりに同時表示される実施形態と、これとは相違し、父の端末においては父アイコンが表示されず、母の端末においては母アイコンが表示されずというように、端末利用者本人のアイコンが表示されない実施形態がある。
（Ｃ）掲示板エリアに表示される１個の投稿文は吹き出しに囲まれた態様で表示される。４人家族全員のアイコンが掲示板エリアのまわりに同時表示される実施形態においては、投稿文を取り囲む吹き出しには、その投稿文を発信した投稿者アイコンに視覚的に結合する吹き出し口が表示される。
  本人アイコンが表示されない実施形態においては、本人が投稿した投稿文が表示される際、「投稿者アイコンに視覚的に結合する吹き出し口」は表示されない。この場合、吹き出し口はあってもなくてもよい。
＝＝＝端末における情報処理＝＝＝
  利用者が使用する情報端末のコンピューティングデバイス（その中枢のことを端末プロセサと称することがある）は、端末にインストールされた本アプリを実行することで上記の表示制御を具現化する。利用者が自分の端末を操作して本アプリを起動し、投稿閲覧画面の指示入力をした。端末プロセサは本サービスサイトにアクセスし、当該サイトにて管理されている投稿レコード集合を取り寄せる。
  投稿レコード集合は、複数の投稿レコードを投稿順に順序付けした集合である。投稿レコードは、つぎの各項目の情報を含んだ所定形式のデータである（後述するように他の情報を含んでいてよい）。
       ● ４人家族の誰かが投稿した１個の投稿文
       ● 投稿した人の会員ＩＤ
       ● 投稿日時
       ● 表示履歴（当該投稿文を４人家族の各端末にて未表示なのか既表示なのかを
                    識別可能な情報）
  本サービスサイトから端末に送達される投稿レコード集合は、４人家族の最古の投稿レコードから最新の投稿レコードのすべてを含んでいる必要はなく、最新の投稿レコードから溯った所定範囲内の投稿レコードの集合であってよい（この端末において未表示の最古の投稿レコードを含んでいるように本サービスサイトが機能している）。端末プロセサは、受信した投稿レコード集合をメモリに保存する。端末にダウンロードした投稿レコード集合を端末に保存しておく方式を採用した場合、本サービスサイトから端末に未送達の投稿レコードのみを送信すればよいことは自明である。
  また、端末プロセサは、本サービスサイトから取得したアイコンテーブルをメモリに保存している。アイコンテーブルとは、４人家族それぞれのアイコンのデータと、会員ＩＤとを対応づけしたものである。事前に取得したアイコンテーブルをメモリに保存する実施形態でもよいし、上記の投稿レコード集合の取得時に同時にアイコンテーブルを取得する実施形態としてもよい。
＝＝＝愛玩アバターの登場＝＝＝
  この発明に係るメッセージサービスを利用する具体例としての４人家族のコミュニティーには、上述した父アイコン・母アイコン・息子アイコン・娘アイコンが登場することに加えて、愛玩アバターとしての犬アイコンが登場する。この４人家族の家庭では現実にペットとして犬を飼育しており、そのペット犬のアバターとして犬アイコンが本サービスサイトに登録されているものとして説明する。別の活用例としては、生まれたばかりのまだ話すことができない赤ちゃんを愛玩アバターとして登録することも考えられる。また、最近購入した我が家の愛車を愛玩アバターとして登録することも考えられる。
  本サービスサイトは、この４人家族の登録情報として、各会員ＩＤに対応づけした父アイコン・母アイコン・息子アイコン・娘アイコンの情報を記憶管理するとともに、愛玩アバターに割り当てられた仮想会員ＩＤと犬アイコンの画像情報との対応づけ情報を記憶管理し、この仮想会員ＩＤと犬アイコンの画像情報との対応づけ情報を上記アイコンテーブルに含めて４人家族がそれぞれ使用する情報端末に配信する。各端末は、４人家族のアイコンと会員ＩＤの対応づけ情報に加えて、仮想会員ＩＤと犬アイコンの対応づけ情報を記憶する。
＝＝＝愛玩アバターによる投稿＝＝＝
  ４人家族は誰でも、本アプリをインストールしてある情報端末を操作して本サービスサイトにログインすれば、自分でした自分の投稿を他の３人の端末に送達してもらえるとともに、自分が愛玩アバターとして投稿したメッセージを愛玩アバターの発言として自分を含む４人家族全員に共通に送達してもらえる。
  愛玩アバターとして投稿をするには、メッセージ入力場面で、愛玩アバターによる発言であることを示す所定入力を加えればよい。そのようにして入力した投稿文と投稿日時を含む投稿レコードにおいては、投稿者の欄には愛玩アバターに割り当てられている仮想会員ＩＤが記入され、メッセージ入力した会員の会員ＩＤは投稿者欄には記入されない。この投稿レコードが本サービスサイトにアップロードされ、当該グループの他の投稿レコードとともに時系列に集積されて管理される。
＝＝＝投稿閲覧画面の具体例＝＝＝
  前記の４人家族の例で説明を進める。図１Ａ～図１Ｃの画像は、４人家族中の母が使用するスマートフォンなどの情報端末に表示された投稿閲覧画面の例である。この例においては、画面の中央に円形の掲示板エリア１が設定されており、その上部中央に父アイコン２が表示され、父アイコン２の左右に娘アイコン３と息子アイコン４が表示されている。また、息子アイコン４の右に愛玩アバターに対応した犬アイコン８が表示されている。さらに、この情報端末の使用者本人である母に対応する母アイコン９は掲示板エリア１の下方中央に表示されている。
  このように、端末使用者の本人を表すアイコンが掲示板エリア１の下方中央に表示され、他の４つのアイコンが掲示板エリア１の情報に並べて表示される。なお、本人を表すアイコンを表示しない実施形態でもよい。このような表示制御を実現するために、各人の情報端末にインストールされている本アプリは、それぞれの情報端末の使用者が４人家族中の誰なのかを会員ＩＤなどによって認識している。
  前述したように、掲示板エリア１には、１個の投稿文しか表示されない。２個以上の投稿文が同時に表示されることはない。図１Ａ～図１Ｃに示すように、表示される投稿文は吹き出し５に囲まれている。この図１Ａの表示例の投稿文は娘が投稿したものであり、そのことを明示するために、吹き出し５の吹き出し口６が娘アイコン３を指すように表示される。
  この表示制御を行うために、本アプリは、表示対象となった１個の投稿レコードに記述されている投稿者の会員ＩＤに基づいて表示する投稿文が娘の投稿であることを認知するとともに、娘アイコン３の表示位置を認知し、吹き出し口６の先端を娘アイコン３に向けた吹き出し５を表示し、その中に投稿文を投稿日時とともに表示する。（そのような制御を端末プロセサに実行させる。）
  同様にして本アプリは、表示対象となった１個の投稿レコードの投稿者が仮想会員ＩＤ（愛玩アバター）である場合、吹き出し口６を犬アイコン８に向けた吹き出し５を表示する。この例を図１Ｂに示している。同様に、父の投稿を表示する際には吹き出し口６を父アイコン２に向けた吹き出し５を表示する。この例を図１Ｃに示している。
  端末使用者本人（図示例では母）のアイコンは掲示板エリア１の下方に表示されているので、本人の投稿文を表示する際には、吹き出し口を母アイコンに向けた吹き出しを表示する。そのように本アプリをプログラム設計する。本人のアイコンを表示しない実施形態の場合、本人（母）の投稿文を表示する場合には、吹き出し口のない形態の吹き出しを表示するか、あるいは、吹き出し口を掲示板エリア１の下方の空白部分に向けた吹き出しを表示することとする。そのように本アプリをプログラム設計すればよい。
＝＝＝ログイン時に最初に表示される投稿＝＝＝
  母が自分の情報端末を操作し、本アプリを通じて本サービスサイトにログインすると、前述したように、本サービスサイトから母端末にいくつかの投稿レコードの集合が送達されるところ、母が未読の投稿レコードが本サービスサイトに存在する場合、母端末に送達されるレコード集合には必ず、母が未読の最古の投稿レコード（母端末で未表示の最古の投稿レコード）が含まれている。本サービスサイトのサーバーはそのようにプログラムされている。
  前述したように、投稿レコードには表示履歴の情報が含まれており、母端末の本アプリは、この表示履歴に基づいて、各投稿レコードの投稿文が母端末において未表示なのか既表示なのかを識別することができるので、母が未読の最古の投稿レコードを特定することができる。一実施例においては、母端末においてログイン時に最初に表示すべき投稿レコードとして、母が未読の最古の投稿レコードを選出する。他の実施例では、母が既読の最新の投稿レコードを選出する。そのように本アプリを適宜にプログラム設計できることは当業者に自明である。
＝＝＝表示対象の投稿を切り替える＝＝＝
  ４人家族がそれぞれ使用する情報端末は、ジェスチャー入力が可能なタッチスクリーンを装備した周知慣用のスマートフォンであるとする。そして一実施例において、母端末に母が未読の最古の投稿文が表示されているとし、その状態で掲示板エリア１を上から下へフリックすると、表示中の投稿文が下方へスクロールして消え、つぎの１個の投稿文が上方からスクロールして現れて吹き出し５の中央で止まる。
  上から下へのフリックは、つぎの新しい投稿文を見るための操作である。本アプリは、このジェスチャー入力に応答し、投稿レコードの時系列順列の中からつぎの新しい投稿レコードを表示対象として選出し、上記のようなスクロール表示切替処理を端末プロセサに行わせる。反対に下から上へのフリックに対しては、投稿時系列を逆行してつぎの古い投稿レコードを表示対象とし、下から上へのスクロールを伴った表示切替処理を行わせる。こうした表示制御の技術それ自体は当業者にとって周知慣用の設計的事項である。また、表示対象の投稿を切り替えるジェスチャー入力を適宜に選択して設計してよいことは勿論である。
  図１Ａから下へフリックして投稿文を切り替えた状態を図１Ｂに示している。図１Ｂの状態で表示対象となった投稿レコードの投稿者欄には仮想会員ＩＤが記入されていたので、本アプリは、この投稿文は愛玩アバターの発言であるとして処理し、吹き出し口６を犬アイコン８に向けて吹き出し５を表示している。この画面からは、犬アイコン８の投稿文を誰が投稿したのかを特定することはできない。その発言内容の前後関係から４人家族の誰が犬アイコン８に発言させたのかを想像することはできる。その状態からさらに下へフリックして投稿文を切り替えた状態を図１Ｃに示している。この投稿文の吹き出し口６は父アイコン２に向いており、父の発言だとわかる。
  上記のように表示対象を切り替える操作に伴って、端末にダウンロードしている投稿レコード集合にはない古い投稿レコードが必要になる場合があり得る。この場合、本アプリは、本サービスサイトから必要な投稿レコードをダウンロードする処理を端末プロセサに行わせる。
  なお、本発明は、表示対象として選出された１個の投稿レコードの投稿文のみを表示する実施例に限定されるものではなく、周知慣用のタイムライン形式の表示形態を採用し、複数の投稿文を時系列に並べて表示する実施形態としてもよい。
＝＝＝発明特定事項＝＝＝
  ここまで説明した技術事項を整理することにより、先に列記した事項（１）～（９）により特定される発明１が把握できることが明らかであろう。また、発明１において、つぎの特定事項（10）（11）を加えた発明２を把握することができる。
（10）サーバーは、グループ構成員がそれぞれ登録した個人表象を会員ＩＤに対応づけして管理するとともに、その対応づけ情報をグループ構成員の情報端末に共通に配信すること
（11）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿レコードに基づいて投稿文を表示する際、当該投稿レコード中の投稿者の会員ＩＤまたは仮想会員ＩＤに該当する個人表象または愛玩アバターと視覚的に結合した吹き出しを表示し、その中に投稿文を表示すること
  また、発明２において、つぎの特定事項（12）（13）（14）を加えた発明３を把握することができる。
（12）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿表示の指示入力があった際、各グループ構成員の個人表象および愛玩アバターを掲示板エリアのまわりに配列して表示すること
（13）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿表示の指示入力があった際、サーバーから取得した投稿レコード集合の中から表示対象となる１個の投稿レコードを選出すること
（14）グループ構成員の情報端末は、表示対象として１個の投稿レコードを選出した際、前記掲示板エリアに吹き出しを表示して当該投稿レコード中の投稿文を吹き出し中に表示し、その吹き出し口を、当該投稿レコード中の投稿者の会員ＩＤまたは仮想会員ＩＤに該当する個人表象または愛玩アバターと視覚的に結合させるように表示すること
  また、発明３において、つぎの特定事項（15）（16）を加えた発明４を把握することができる。
（15）サーバーは、各投稿レコード中の投稿文を各グループ構成員の情報端末において未表示なのか識別可能な表示履歴を各投稿レコードに付加すること
（16）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿表示を開始する指示入力があった際、サーバーから取得した投稿レコード集合中の前記表示履歴に基づいて、当該端末において未表示の最古の１個の投稿レコードを特定し、その１個の投稿レコードを表示対象として選出すること
＝＝＝実施例のもう１つの特徴＝＝＝
  図１Ａの表示例は、母端末において娘の投稿文が表示されている状態を表している。この発明のもう１つの特徴は、図１Ａの例における娘の投稿文を父および息子が読んでいるのか否かを付加的に表示することにある。
  前述したように、投稿レコードには表示履歴の情報が含まれており、この表示履歴は、投稿レコード中の投稿文を４人家族の各端末にて未表示なのか既表示なのかを識別可能な情報である（そのデータ表現形式は当業者が自由に設計できる事項である）。
  図１Ａの例において、母端末にて娘の投稿文を表示する処理を実行する際、本アプリは、その投稿レコードの表示履歴に基づいて、表示対象である娘の投稿文について、父端末にて既表示か未表示かを判別するとともに、息子端末にて既表示か未表示かを判別する。たとえば父端末では既読であり、息子端末では未読であったとすると、図１Ａ～図１Ｃの母端末における表示例において、父アイコン２を色濃く不透明の表現で表示し（これを通常表示とする）、息子アイコン４を淡色の透明表示とする。母端末における本アプリはそのような表示制御を端末プロセサに行わせる。この例での父アイコン２および息子アイコン４に何らかの視覚的表現を付加して未読・既読を区別できるようにする表示制御それ自体は、当業者であればさまざまな形態で実施可能である。
  以上のことから、上記の発明４において、つぎの特定事項（17）を加えた発明５を把握することができる。
（17）グループ構成員の情報端末は、表示対象として選出した１個の投稿レコードＡの投稿文Ｂを前記吹き出し中に表示する際、当該レコードＡの前記表示履歴に基づいてグループ構成員である他会員の前記端末にて投稿文Ｂが未表示なのか既表示なのかを判断し、未表示である会員ＩＤに対応する個人表象と、既表示である会員ＩＤに対応する個人表象とを、付加的な視覚的表現により区別できるようにすること
  また、投稿レコード中の上記表示履歴を活用したつぎのような実施形態がある。たとえば、図１Ａに例示した母端末での投稿閲覧画面において、掲示板エリア１の右下に「未読２件」と表示されている。母端末の端末プロセサは本アプリを実行することで、本サービスサイトからダウンロードしている投稿レコード集合の表示履歴を調べ、母端末において未表示の投稿は２件であることを検知し、図１Ａのように「未読２件」との表示を行っている。
  さらに、母端末の端末プロセサは本アプリを実行することで、検知した「未読２件」の投稿が誰の投稿なのかを投稿レコードから調べる。ここでは「未読２件」のうちの１件が愛玩アバターの投稿であり、もう１件が父の投稿であったとする。この場合、母端末の端末プロセサは本アプリを実行することで、掲示板エリア１に表示されている犬アイコン８に小さな吹き出し印７を付加表示するとともに、父アイコン２にも同様な吹き出し印７を付加表示する。この吹き出し印７の中には３個のドットが描かれている。この付加表示は、母端末では未表示である、愛玩アバターの投稿および父の投稿があるよということを表現している。
  図１Ｂは母端末において未読であった愛玩アバターの投稿が表示されている状態である。したがって、図１Ｂでは犬アイコン８に付加表示されていた吹き出し印７が消えている（「未読１件」と表示されている）。図１Ｃでは母端末において未読であった父の投稿が表示されている状態であり、ここでは図１Ａ及び図１Ｂで父アイコン２に付加表示されていた吹き出し印７が消えている（未読数は表示されていない）。
  以上の技術事項の説明から、上記の発明４において、つぎの特定事項（18）を加えた発明６を把握することができる。
（18）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿文を前記吹き出し中に表示する場面において、投稿レコード集合中の前記表示履歴に基づいて当該端末において投稿文が未表示である投稿レコードを特定し、この未表示投稿レコード中の投稿者の会員ＩＤや仮想会員ＩＤに対応する個人表象や愛玩アバターと、それ以外の個人表象や愛玩アバターとを、付加的な視覚的表現により区別できるようにすること
  また当然であるが、以上説明した発明１～発明６のいずれかに係る分散コンピューティングの方法を本サービスサイトのサーバーと本アプリをインストールした情報端末とで実施するところ、このことを前提として、この発明の射程は、上記の分散コンピューティングの方法を実施するようにプログラムされたサーバーに及ぶものであり、また、上記の分散コンピューティングの方法を実施するように情報端末にインストールされるアプリケーションプログラム（本アプリ）にも及ぶものである。
＝＝＝発明の効果＝＝＝
  この発明においては、グループ構成員がそれぞれ自分が入力した文字メッセージを自分の発言として見せあうことに加えて、仮想のグループ構成員として登録した愛玩アバターをコミュニティー内に登場させ、グループ構成員であれば誰でも、自分が入力した文字メッセージを愛玩アバターの発言としてグループ構成員に見せるという特徴的な表現手段を提供している。グループ構成員がこの新たな表現手段を上手に用いることにより、直接話法や間接話法を巧みに採り入れたコミュニケーションによりグループ構成員の人間関係を楽しく円滑に進めることができるであろう。
 

Claims (8)

  1.   つぎの事項（１）～（９）により特定される方法。
    （１）複数の利用者によってそれぞれ操作される複数の情報端末と、これら情報端末と通信網を介して個別に通信するサーバーによって実施される分散コンピューティングの方法であること
    （２）サーバーは、グループ登録をした複数のグループ構成員がそれぞれ情報端末を用いて文字メッセージを投稿し閲覧するクラウドサービスを提供すること
    （３）サーバーは、グループ構成員の情報端末からアップロードされた投稿文と投稿者の会員ＩＤを対応づけした投稿レコードを時系列に集約し管理すること
    （４）サーバーは、グループ構成員の情報端末に投稿レコードをダウンロードすること
    （５）グループ構成員の情報端末は、ダウンロードした投稿レコードに基づいて、投稿者を特定する表現形態で該当の投稿文を表示すること
    （６）サーバーは、グループ構成員が仮想のグループ構成員として登録した愛玩アバターの画像を仮想会員ＩＤに対応づけして管理し、この愛玩アバター画像と仮想会員ＩＤをすべてのグループ構成員の情報端末に共通に配信すること
    （７）グループ構成員の情報端末は、いずれも、操作入力に従って、仮想のグループ構成員として登録してある前記愛玩アバターによる投稿として投稿文を作成し、その投稿文に前記仮想会員ＩＤを対応づけしてサーバーにアップロード可能であること
    （８）サーバーは、グループ構成員の情報端末から前記仮想会員ＩＤに対応づけされた投稿文を受信した際、その投稿文と投稿者としての前記仮想会員ＩＤとを対応づけした投稿レコードを、投稿レコード時系列集合中に追加すること
    （９）グループ構成員の情報端末は、ダウンロードした投稿レコードに基づいて投稿文を表示する際、その投稿者が前記仮想会員ＩＤである場合、その投稿が前記愛玩アバターによるものであることを明示する表現形態で前記愛玩アバター画像と投稿文を表示すること
  2.   つぎの事項（10）（11）により特定される請求項1に記載の方法。
    （10）サーバーは、グループ構成員がそれぞれ登録した個人表象を会員ＩＤに対応づけして管理するとともに、その対応づけ情報をグループ構成員の情報端末に共通に配信すること
    （11）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿レコードに基づいて投稿文を表示する際、当該投稿レコード中の投稿者の会員ＩＤまたは仮想会員ＩＤに該当する個人表象または愛玩アバターと視覚的に結合した吹き出しを表示し、その中に投稿文を表示すること
  3.   つぎの事項（12）（13）（14）により特定される請求項２に記載の方法。
    （12）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿表示の指示入力があった際、各グループ構成員の個人表象および愛玩アバターを掲示板エリアのまわりに配列して表示すること
    （13）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿表示の指示入力があった際、サーバーから取得した投稿レコード集合の中から表示対象となる１個の投稿レコードを選出すること
    （14）グループ構成員の情報端末は、表示対象として１個の投稿レコードを選出した際、前記掲示板エリアに吹き出しを表示して当該投稿レコード中の投稿文を吹き出し中に表示し、その吹き出し口を、当該投稿レコード中の投稿者の会員ＩＤまたは仮想会員ＩＤに該当する個人表象または愛玩アバターと視覚的に結合させるように表示すること
  4.   つぎの事項（15）（16）により特定される請求項３に記載の方法。
    （15）サーバーは、各投稿レコード中の投稿文を各グループ構成員の情報端末において未表示なのか識別可能な表示履歴を各投稿レコードに付加すること
    （16）グループ構成員の情報端末は、投稿表示を開始する指示入力があった際、サーバーから取得した投稿レコード集合中の前記表示履歴に基づいて、当該端末において未表示の最古の１個の投稿レコードを特定し、その１個の投稿レコードを表示対象として選出すること
  5.   つぎの事項（17）により特定される請求項４に記載の方法。
    （17）グループ構成員の情報端末は、表示対象として選出した１個の投稿レコードＡの投稿文Ｂを前記吹き出し中に表示する際、当該レコードＡの前記表示履歴に基づいてグループ構成員である他会員の前記端末にて投稿文Ｂが未表示なのか既表示なのかを判断し、未表示である会員ＩＤに対応する個人表象と、既表示である会員ＩＤに対応する個人表象とを、付加的な視覚的表現により区別できるようにすること
  6.   つぎの事項（18）により特定される請求項４に記載の方法。
