Description

光学ユニット及び内視鏡
 本発明は、ボイスコイルモータを用いて可動部を進退駆動する光学ユニット及び内視鏡に関する。
 従来、レンズが取り付けられた可動レンズ枠を有し、この可動レンズ枠を進退移動させることによって撮影倍率を変更するズーム機能を備えた内視鏡が開示されている(例えば、特許文献1を参照)。

 上述した特許文献1に記載されたような従来の内視鏡では、一般に被検体への挿入部における先端部の細径化や、先端部における硬質長の短縮化が望まれている。このためには、従来の内視鏡において、可動レンズ枠を進退移動させるアクチュエータの小型化及び軽量化が必要である。
 本発明は、上記に鑑みてなされたものであって、可動レンズを進退移動させるアクチュエータの小型化及び軽量化を実現することができる光学ユニット及び内視鏡を提供することを目的とする。
 上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するために、本発明に係る光学ユニットは、少なくとも物体側固定レンズ群及び像側固定レンズ群のいずれか1つを保持する筒形状の固定部と、前記物体側固定レンズ群と前記像側固定レンズ群の間で可動レンズ群を保持し、前記固定部の径方向内側に前記固定部に対して摺動可能に配置され、前記固定部と同じ中心軸を有する筒形状の可動部と、前記固定部に配置されたコイル、及び前記可動部に配置されて前記中心軸と交差する方向に磁気分極された磁石を有し、前記可動部を前記中心軸方向に沿って前記固定部に対して相対移動させることが可能なボイスコイルモータと、前記可動部の前記固定部に対する前記中心軸のまわりの回転を規制する回転規制部と、を備えることを特徴とする。
 本発明に係る内視鏡は、被検体の内部に挿入されて該被検体の内部を観察する内視鏡であって、上記の光学ユニットと、前記光学ユニットが集光した光を電気信号に変換する撮像素子と、を備えることを特徴とする。
 本発明によれば、可動レンズを進退移動させるアクチュエータの小型化及び軽量化を実現することができる。

(実施の形態1)
 図1は、本発明の実施の形態1に係る光学ユニットの構成を示す分解斜視図である。図2は、本実施の形態1に係る光学ユニットの要部の構成を示す断面図である。図3は、図2のII-II線を通過する切断面で見たときの光学ユニットの断面図である。図4は、図2のIII-III線を通過する切断面で見たときの光学ユニットの断面図である。なお、図2は、図3のI-I線を通過する切断面で見たときの光学ユニットの断面図でもある。
 図1~図4に示す光学ユニット1は、固定部2と、固定部2に対して移動可能な可動部3と、固定部2に対して可動部3を移動させる駆動力を発生するボイスコイルモータ10と、を備える。
 固定部2は、固定部本体20と、可動部3が保持する可動レンズ群Gvよりも物体側の物体側固定レンズ群Gfを保持し固定部本体20の物体側に取り付けられた前枠部4と、可動レンズ群Gvよりも像側の像側固定レンズ群Gbを保持し固定部本体20の像側に取り付けられた後枠部5と、を有する。
 図5は、固定部本体20の構成を示す斜視図である。同図に示す固定部本体20は、所定の軸Cを中心とした筒形状の部材からなる。固定部本体20は、軸Cを中心軸とする筒部21と、筒部21に対して軸C方向の物体側に形成された物体側肉厚部22と、筒部21に対して物体側肉厚部22と軸C方向の反対側に形成された像側肉厚部23と、を有する。固定部本体20は、軸Cに対して90°の回転対称性を有する。以下、軸C方向に沿って物体側と反対側のことを像側という。
 筒部21には、肉抜き部21aが形成される。具体的には、筒部21の長手方向の中心軸Cに対して周方向に沿って90°毎に、筒部21の径方向にそれぞれ貫通した4つの肉抜き部21aが形成される。肉抜き部21aを除いた筒部21の径方向内側の面は筒状のシリンドリカル面であって、可動部3を案内支持する固定側摺動面24となっている。固定側摺動面24は、肉抜き部21aにより、周方向に分割された形状をなす。
 物体側肉厚部22は、筒部21よりも径方向外側及び径方向内側に突出して形成される。像側肉厚部23は、筒部21よりも径方向外側に突出して形成される。像側肉厚部23の径方向内側の固定側摺動面24には、溝23cが形成される。可動部3を組み付ける際、後述する磁石12がこの溝23cを通過する。したがって、固定部本体20に対して可動部3を円滑に組み立てることが可能となる。なお、物体側肉厚部22及び像側肉厚部23を筒部21と別体に形成し、組立時に筒部21へ取り付ける構造としてもよい。
 図6A及び図6Bは、前枠部4の構成を示す斜視図であって、軸Cの異なる側からそれぞれ見たときの斜視図である。なお、前枠部4の中心軸を軸Cと称しているのは、組み付け時に固定部本体20の中心軸と一致するためである。前枠部4は、外周部41と内周部42とを有する筒状の部材である。外周部41は、第1外周部41a、第2外周部41b、及び外周側凸部41cを有する。内周部42は、第1内周部42a、第2内周部42b、及び内周側凸部42cを有する。
 外周部41において、第1外周部41aは第2外周部41bよりも大径である。第1外周部41aと第2外周部41bの間には、径方向外側に突出した最も大径の外周側凸部41cが設けられる。
 内周部42において、第1内周部42aは第2内周部42bよりも大径である。第1内周部42aと第2内周部42bの間には、径方向内側に突出した最も小径の内周側凸部42cが位置する。
 前枠部4は、物体側固定レンズ群Gfを保持する。物体側固定レンズ群Gfは、前第1レンズLf1及び前第2レンズLf2を有し、物体側からこの順に並んでいる。第1内周部42aが前第1レンズLf1を保持し、第2内周部42bが前第2レンズLf2を保持する。前第1レンズLf1の像側及び前第2レンズLf2の物体側は、図3及び図4に示すように、内周側凸部42cに当接しているのが好ましい。
 前枠部4を固定部本体20へ挿入する際には、第2外周部41bを固定部本体20の物体側肉厚部22の内周面22aに接触させながら、固定部本体20の物体側の端面22bが第2外周部41bと外周側凸部41cとの段部41dに接触するまで挿入する。
 図7A及び図7Bは、後枠部5の構成を示す斜視図であって、軸Cの異なる側からそれぞれ見たときの斜視図である。なお、後枠部5の中心軸を軸Cと称しているのは、前枠部4と同様、組み付け時に固定部本体20の中心軸と一致するためである。後枠部5は、外周部51と内周部52とを有する筒状の部材である。外周部51は、第1外周部51a、第2外周部51b、及び第3外周部51cを有する。内周部52は、第1内周部52a、第2内周部52b、及び内周側凸部52cを有する。
 外周部51において、第1外周部51aは第2外周部51bよりも小径であり、第2外周部51bは第3外周部51cよりも小径である。
 内周部52において、第1内周部52aは第2内周部52bよりも小径である。第1内周部52aの物体側の端部には、径方向内側に突出した最も小径の内周側凸部52cが設けられる。
 後枠部5は、像側固定レンズ群Gbを保持する。像側固定レンズ群Gbは、後第1レンズLb1及び後第2レンズLb2を有する。第1内周部52aは、後第1レンズLb1及び後第2レンズLb2を物体側からこの順序で保持する。後第1レンズLb1の物体側は、図3及び図4に示すように、内周側凸部52cに当接しているのが好ましい。
 後枠部5を固定部本体20へ挿入する際には、第2外周部51bを固定部本体20の像側肉厚部23の固定側摺動面24に接触させながら、固定部本体20の像側の端面23aが第2外周部51bと第3外周部51cとの段部51dに接触するまで挿入する。
 以上の構成を有する固定部2は、例えば非磁性体であるものの比透磁率が1.0より大きい材料を用いて構成される。このような材料として、例えばオーステナイト系ステンレス等を挙げることができる。
 図8は、可動部3の構成を示す斜視図である。同図に示す可動部3は、外周部31と内周部32とを有する筒形状の部材からなる。以下、可動部3の中心軸も軸Cと称する。これは、組み付け時に可動部3の中心軸と固定部本体20の中心軸が一致するためである。
 外周部31は、筒部31aと、筒部31aの軸C方向の両端部にそれぞれ形成され、筒部31aよりも外周の径が大きい2つの突縁部31bとを有する。筒部31aと突縁部31bは、一体の部材として構成してもよいし、別体の部材として構成してもよい。
 突縁部31bは、その外周面からなる可動側摺動面31cと、突縁部31bの径方向外側の一部に形成された平面部31dとを有する。図8に示す場合、突縁部31bは、可動側摺動面31cと平面部31dとを軸Cまわりの周方向に沿って交互に4つずつ等間隔で有している。平面部31dは、軸C方向に沿って他端側に形成された4つの平面部31dのいずれかと同一平面を通過する。換言すれば、外周部31は、互いに異なる端部に形成されて同一平面を通過する2つの平面部31dを4組有する。
 4組の平面部31dのうち3組の平面部31dの間には、筒部31aより径方向内側に形成されて平面状の外周面を有する段差部31eがそれぞれ設けられる。3組の平面部31dの間に形成される段差部31eの軸C方向の中央部には、筒部31aの表面を切り欠いて外周が平面状をなす切欠部31fが設けられる。
 4組の平面部31dのうち残る1組の平面部31dの間にも、筒部31aより径方向内側に形成されて平面上の外周面を有する段差部31gが設けられる。段差部31gの軸C方向の中央部には、可動部3の軸Cまわりの回転を規制する回転規制部31hが段差部31gの外周面から突出して設けられる。回転規制部31hの側面のうち固定部2と接触する部分は湾曲したR形状をなす一方、第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bとそれぞれ対向する側面は平面状をなす。換言すれば、回転規制部31hの表面のうち軸Cと平行な表面は、円を軸Cの物体側及び像側を軸Cと直交する方向に直線でそれぞれ切り欠いた(Dカットした)形状をなしており、二つの円弧と二つの直線で囲まれた形状をなす。なお、回転規制部の表面を、図8に示す軸C方向における回転規制部31hの長さを直径とする円形状としてもよい。また、回転規制部の表面を矩形状としてもよい。
 図2に示すように、回転規制部31hの軸Cと直交する平面における周方向の幅は、同じ平面における磁石12(図2では第2磁石12bを記載)の周方向の幅よりも大きい。
 内周部32は、第1内周部32a、第2内周部32b、第3内周部32c、及び内周側凸部32dを有する。第2内周部32bは、第1内周部32a及び第3内周部32cよりも小径である。第2内周部32bと第3内周部32cの間には、径方向内側に突出した最も小径の内周側凸部32dが設けられる。
 可動部3は、可動レンズ群Gvを保持する。具体的には、可動部3の第2内周部32bは、可動レンズ群Gvが有する可動第1レンズLv1を保持する。図3及び図4に示すように、可動第1レンズLv1の像側は、内周側凸部32dに当接しているのが好ましい。
 可動部3は、可動側摺動面31cが固定側摺動面24と接触しながら固定部本体20に挿入される。また、図3及び図4に示すように、第3内周部32cの径方向内側が後枠部5の第1外周部51aと対向するように挿入される。これにより、像側固定レンズ群Gbの少なくとも一部が可動部3の第3内周部32cの径方向内側に存在することとなる。本実施の形態1において、可動部3が最も物体側に移動した場合には、物体側固定レンズ群Gfの少なくとも一部が可動部3の第1内周部32aの径方向内側に存在する。
 以上の構成を有する可動部3は、例えばステンレス、アルミニウム又は樹脂等の材料を用いて構成される。
 光学ユニット1では、図4に示すように、軸Cに沿った方向において、可動部3の可動側摺動面31cにおける最も物体側の位置から最も像側の位置までの距離L1が、前枠部4が保持する物体側固定レンズ群Gfの射出面から後枠部5が保持する像側固定レンズ群Gbの入射面までの距離L2よりも長い(L1>L2)。なお、可動部3の可動側摺動面31cの最も物体側の位置から最も像側の位置までの距離は、面取り部分を含まない。
 次に、ボイスコイルモータ10の構成を説明する。ボイスコイルモータ10は、図3に示すように、固定部2の固定部本体20に配置されたコイル11と、コイル11に対向するように可動部3に配置された磁石12と、を有する。
 コイル11は、図3及び図4に示すように、固定部本体20の筒部21の外周に巻かれる第1コイル11aと、第1コイル11aの軸C方向に沿って並べて配置され、固定部本体20の筒部21の外周に巻かれる第2コイル11bと、を有する。なお、コイル11は、予め巻かれたものを後から配設してもよい。軸C方向に沿って隣り合う第1コイル11aと第2コイル11bは、直列で接続されることが好ましいが、並列に接続されてもよい。
 第1コイル11a及び第2コイル11bは、図3及び図4に示すように、それぞれ固定部本体20の肉抜き部21aに対向する平面部11ap及び11bpをそれぞれ有する。また、第1コイル11a及び第2コイル11bは、筒部21に対向する円筒部11at及び11btをそれぞれ有する。第1コイル11aは、軸Cと直交する断面において、4つの平面部11apと4つの円筒部11atとが交互に配置される。同様に、第2コイル11bは、軸Cと直交する断面において、4つの平面部11bpと4つの円筒部11btとが交互に配置される(図2を参照)。
 磁石12は、図1~図4に示すように、第1コイル11aの平面部11ap及び第2コイル11bの平面部11bpの内側に、平面部11ap及び11bpとそれぞれ対向するとともに、軸C方向に沿って並べて配置される第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bを4つずつ有する。軸C方向に沿って並んだ4組の第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bは、軸Cと直交する断面において、周方向に沿って90度ごとに等間隔で配設される。4組のうち1組の第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bの間には、回転規制部31hが位置する。このような配置を取ることにより、第1磁石12aと第2磁石12bを安定して設置することができる。その結果、ボイスコイルモータ10では安定した磁界が形成され、固定部2に対して移動する可動部3のブレを抑制することが可能となる。なお、本実施の形態1では、軸Cのまわりに90°毎に磁石12を設置したが、他の角度間隔で磁石12を設置してもよい。
 図3及び図4に示すように、第1磁石12aと第2磁石12bの軸C方向の幅の合計は、第1コイル11aと第2コイル11bの軸C方向の幅の合計よりも短い。これにより、可動部3の移動範囲内で、第1磁石12aと第2磁石12bを常に第1コイル11aと第2コイル11bの軸C方向の幅内にそれぞれ存在させることができる。
 図9は、図3に示すIV-IV線を通過する切断面で見たときのボイスコイルモータのみの構成を示した図である。図10は、図3と同じ断面でボイスコイルモータのみを示した図である。
 図9及び図10に示すように、軸C方向に沿って組をなす第1磁石12aと第2磁石12bは離間して配置されている。第1磁石12aの組と第2磁石12bの組は、それぞれ径方向に着磁され、磁極が互いに逆向きである。図9及び図10に示す場合、第1磁石12aは、第1コイル11a側をN極、その反対側をS極とし、第2磁石12bは、第2コイル11b側をS極、その反対側をN極としている。この場合、第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bの磁気分極方向は、図9及び図10に示す白抜き矢印Aのように、軸Cに対して直交する。なお、より一般に第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bの磁気分極方向は、軸Cと交差する方向であればよい。
 本実施の形態1において、コイル11は、第1磁石12aの組と第2磁石12bの組の間で巻回方向が反転することが好ましい。例えば、図9に示すように、第1コイル11aを矢印Bの方向に巻いた場合、第2コイル11bは逆方向に巻けばよい。或いは、第1コイル11aと第2コイル11bの巻回方向を同一とし、電流方向が逆になるように第1コイル11aと第2コイル11bを接続してもよい。この場合、図9に示すように、第1コイル11aに矢印Bの向きの電流を流したとき、第2コイル11bには矢印Bと逆方向に電流が流れるようになっていればよい。
 以上の構成を有する光学ユニット1では、第1コイル11aの巻かれた固定部本体20の径方向内側に、それぞれ第1コイル11aに対向して第1磁石12aを設置した可動部3が配置される。したがって、第1コイル11aの平面部11apは、それぞれ第1磁石12aの径方向の外側の面121aに直交する方向の磁界の中に存在する。なお、第2磁石12bも同様に構成される。したがって、駆動効率が向上し、可動部3を迅速に移動させることが可能となる。また、第1磁石12aの径方向の外側の面121a及び第2磁石12bの径方向の外側の面121bを平面状とすることで、光学ユニット1の組み立てを容易に行うことが可能となる。
 また、光学ユニット1のコイル11に電流を流すと、磁石12の磁界の影響によって、可動部3に軸C方向の力が発生し、固定部2に対して可動部3が軸C方向に移動する。例えば、第1コイル11a及び第2コイル11bにそれぞれ流す電流を制御することによって、可動部3を固定部2に対して移動させることができる。可動部3が固定部2に対して移動している状態でも、磁石12の径方向の外側の面は、固定部本体20の肉抜き部21a内に配置される。
 また、光学ユニット1において、可動部3の突縁部31bの外周面は、図4に示すように、固定部本体20の固定側摺動面24に接触する可動側摺動面31cを構成する。固定部本体20の固定側摺動面24と可動部3の可動側摺動面31cを接触させることで、固定部本体20に対して可動部3を常に接触した状態で移動させるとともに、固定部2に対する可動部3の傾斜を抑制することができ、可動部3を的確に移動させることが可能となる。
 以上説明した本発明の実施の形態1によれば、固定部2に配置されたコイル11、及び可動部3に配置されて中心軸Cと直交する方向に磁気分極された磁石12を有し、可動部3を中心軸C方向に沿って固定部に対して相対移動させることが可能なボイスコイルモータ10と、可動部3の固定部2に対する中心軸Cのまわりの回転を規制する回転規制部31hとを備えるため、駆動効率が向上し、可動部3を迅速に作動させることが可能となる。また、可動部3の作動中も固定部本体20の固定側摺動面24と可動部3の可動側摺動面31cが接触することで、固定部2に対する可動部3の傾斜を抑制することができ、可動部3を的確に移動させることが可能となる。したがって、可動レンズを進退移動させるアクチュエータの小型化及び軽量化を実現することができる。
 また、本実施の形態1によれば、回転規制部31hを設けたことにより、例えば固定部2を磁性がある材料で構成した場合であっても、可動部3の磁石12と固定部2が吸着してしまうのを防止することができる。その結果、磁石12と固定部2との吸着によって可動部3を駆動させる力量が増加するのを抑制し、ボイスコイルモータ10の小型化及び軽量化を確実に実現することができる。
 また、本実施の形態1によれば、固定部2を固定部本体20、前枠部4及び後枠部5とを用いて構成することにより、部品点数及び組み立て工程を少なくするとともに設計の自由度を増加させることができ、低コスト化を実現することが可能となる。
 また、本実施の形態1によれば、コイル11は、軸Cを中心に巻かれているので、可動部3の摺動軸とボイスコイルモータ10により発生される推進力の作用軸とを同一にすることができ、安定して駆動することが可能となる。
 また、本実施の形態1によれば、固定部2の固定側摺動面24は、周方向に分割して形成されるので、簡単な構造で光学ユニット1を小型化することが可能となる。
 また、本実施の形態1によれば、磁石12は、軸Cに対して対称に複数配置されるので、安定して駆動力を増加させることが可能となる。
 また、本実施の形態1によれば、磁石12は、軸C方向に沿って隣り合い、磁気分極方向が互いに反対方向である第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bからなる組を複数有し、複数の第1磁石12aは、同一の磁気分極方向を有し、コイル11は、複数の第1磁石12aに対向する第1コイル11aと、複数の第2磁石12bに対向し、第1コイル11aに接続される第2コイル11bと、を有し、第1コイル11aと第2コイル11bは、電流の流れる方向が逆であるため、駆動力を増加させることが可能となる。
(実施の形態2)
 図11は、本発明の実施の形態2に係る本発明の実施の形態2に係る光学ユニットの要部の構成を示す断面図である。図12は、図11のV-V線を通過する断面で見たときの光学ユニットの断面図である。図11及び図12に示す光学ユニット1Aは、固定部2と、可動部3Aと、ボイスコイルモータ10と、可動部3Aに装着される回転規制部6と、を備える。本実施の形態2において、実施の形態1と同様の構成を有する部位については、実施の形態1と同じ符号を用いて説明する。
 図13は、可動部3Aの構成を示す斜視図である。可動部3Aは、図13に示すように、外周部31Aと内周部32Aとを有する筒形状の部材からなる。
 外周部31Aは、筒部31aと、突縁部31bとを有する。突縁部31bは、可動側摺動面31cと、平面部31dとを有する。
 図13に示す場合、突縁部31bは、可動側摺動面31cと平面部31dとを軸Cまわりの周方向に沿って交互に4つずつ等間隔で有している。平面部31dは、軸C方向に沿って他端側に形成された4つの平面部31dのいずれかと同一平面を通過する。換言すれば、外周部31Aは、互いに異なる端部に形成されて同一平面を通過する2つの平面部31dを4組有する。4組の平面部31dの間には、段差部31eがそれぞれ設けられる。4組の平面部31dのうち3組の平面部31dの間に設けられる段差部31eの軸C方向の中央部には、筒部31aの表面を切り欠いて外周が平面状をなす切欠部31fが設けられる。
 4組の平面部31dのうち残る1組の平面部31dの間に形成される段差部31eの軸C方向の中央部には、筒部31aの表面を切り欠いて外周が平面状をなす部分に対して径方向に貫通する孔部31iを形成し、回転規制部6を保持する保持部31jが設けられている。なお、孔部31iは、外周部31Aの径方向の内周側に底部を有する形状をなしていてもよい。
 可動部3の内周部32Aは、第1内周部32a、第2内周部32b、第3内周部32e、及び内周側凸部32dを有する。第3内周部32eには、孔部31iの開口が形成されている。
 図14は、回転規制部6の構成を示す斜視図である。回転規制部6は、可動部3Aの孔部31iに挿通可能な径を有する円筒状の挿通部61と、挿通部61の高さ方向の一端に設けられ、孔部31iに挿通部61を挿通した状態で保持部31jの外周側表面に載置されて保持部31jから径方向外周へ向けて突起する頭部62とを有する。頭部62の側面のうち固定部2と接触する部分は湾曲したR形状をなす一方、第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bとそれぞれ対向する側面は平面状をなす。回転規制部6は、保持部31jに保持された状態で接着等により可動部3Aに固着される。なお、可動部3Aに固着された状態において軸Cと平行な回転規制部の表面形状を円形状としてもよいし、矩形状としてもよい。
 図11に示すように、回転規制部6の頭部62の軸Cと直交する平面における周方向の幅は、同じ平面における磁石12(図11では第2磁石12bを記載)の周方向の幅よりも大きい。
 以上説明した本発明の実施の形態2によれば、上述した実施の形態1と同様の効果を得ることができる。
 また、本実施の形態2によれば、可動部3Aと回転規制部6とを別体にすることにより、可動部3A及び回転規制部6の加工が一段と容易になる。
(実施の形態3)
 図15は、本発明の実施の形態3に係る光学ユニットの要部の構成を示す断面図である。図16は、図15のVI-VI線を通過する切断面で見たときの光学ユニットの断面図である。図17は、図15のVII-VII線を通過する切断面で見たときの光学ユニットの断面図である。なお、図15は、図16のVIII-VIII線を通過する切断面で見たときの光学ユニットの断面図でもある。
 図15~図17に示す光学ユニット1Bは、固定部2Bと、可動部3Bと、ボイスコイルモータ10Bと、を備える。本実施の形態3において、実施の形態1と同様の構成を有する部位については、実施の形態1と同じ符号を用いて説明する。
 図18は、固定部2Bが有する固定部本体20Bの構成を示す斜視図である。同図に示す固定部本体20Bは、所定の軸Cを中心とした筒形状の部材からなる。固定部本体20Bは、軸Cを中心軸とする筒部25と、筒部25に対して軸C方向の物体側に形成された物体側肉厚部26と、筒部25に対して軸C方向の像側に形成された像側肉厚部27と、を有する。
 筒部25には、2つの第1肉抜き部25aと1つの第2肉抜き部25bとが形成される。具体的には、軸Cに対して180°回転対称な位置に2つの第1肉抜き部25aが形成され、2つの第1肉抜き部25aから軸Cのまわりに90°回転した位置に第2肉抜き部25bが形成される。第1肉抜き部25a及び第2肉抜き部25bを除いた筒部25の径方向内側の面は筒状のシリンドリカル面であって、可動部3Bを案内支持する固定側摺動面28となっている。固定側摺動面28は、第1肉抜き部25a及び第2肉抜き部25bにより、周方向に分割された形状をなす。第2肉抜き部25bは、軸C方向に沿って筒部25の途中まで形成されている。これは、図16に示すように、本実施の形態3の場合、回転規制部33gの軸C方向の両側には磁石12が配置されないため、軸C方向に沿って筒部25の全体にわたって肉抜きする必要がないからである。
 物体側肉厚部26は、筒部25よりも径方向外側及び径方向内側に突出して形成される。像側肉厚部27は、筒部25よりも径方向外側に突出して形成される。像側肉厚部27の径方向内側の固定側摺動面28には、可動部3Bを組み付ける際に磁石12が通過する第1溝27cが形成される。また、像側肉厚部27の径方向内側の固定側摺動面28には、可動部3Bを組み付ける際に回転規制部33gが通過する第2溝27dが形成されている。したがって、固定部本体20Bに対して可動部3Bを円滑に組み立てることが可能となる。なお、物体側肉厚部26及び像側肉厚部27を筒部25と別体に形成し、組立時に筒部25へ取り付ける構造としてもよい。
 図19は、可動部3Bの構成を示す斜視図である。同図に示す可動部3Bは、外周部33と内周部34とを有する筒形状の部材からなる。
 外周部33は、筒部33aと、筒部33aの軸C方向の両端部にそれぞれ形成され、筒部33aよりも外周の径が大きい2つの突縁部33bとを有する。筒部33aと突縁部33bは、一体の部材として構成してもよいし、別体の部材として構成してもよい。
 突縁部33bは、その外周面からなる可動側摺動面33cと、突縁部33bの径方向外側の一部に形成された平面部33dとを有する。図19に示す場合、突縁部33bは、可動側摺動面33cと平面部33dとを軸Cまわりの周方向に沿って交互に2つずつ有している。平面部33dは、軸C方向に沿って他端側に形成された2つの平面部33dのいずれかと同一平面を通過する。換言すれば、外周部33は、互いに異なる端部に形成されて同一平面を通過する2つの平面部33dを2組有する。
 2組の平面部33dの間には、筒部33aより径方向内側に形成されて平面状の外周面を有する段差部33eがそれぞれ設けられる。段差部33eの軸C方向の中央部には、筒部33aの表面を切り欠いて外周が平面状をなす切欠部33fが設けられる。切欠部33fの軸Cと直交する周方向の中間の筒部33aの表面には、可動部3Bの軸Cまわりの回転を規制する円筒状の回転規制部33gが、筒部33aの表面から突出して設けられる。
 内周部34は、第1内周部34a、第2内周部34b、第3内周部34c、及び内周側凸部34dを有する。第2内周部34bは第1内周部34a及び第3内周部34cよりも小径である。第2内周部34bと第3内周部34cの間には、径方向内側に突出した最も小径の内周側凸部34dが設けられる。第2内周部34bは、可動レンズ群Gvが有する可動第1レンズLv1を保持する。図16及び図17に示すように、可動第1レンズLv1の像側は、内周側凸部34dに当接しているのが好ましい。
 可動部3Bは、可動側摺動面33cが固定側摺動面28と接触しながら固定部本体20Bに挿入される。また、図16及び図17に示すように、可動部3Bの第3内周部34cの径方向内側に後枠部5の第1外周部51aが対向するように挿入される。これにより、像側固定レンズ群Gbの少なくとも一部が可動部3Bの第3内周部34cの径方向内側に位置する。可動部3Bが最も物体側に移動した場合、物体側固定レンズ群Gfの少なくとも一部は、可動部3Bの第1内周部34aの径方向内側に位置する。
 本実施の形態3では、図15に示すように、可動部3Bが有する回転規制部33gの軸Cと直交する平面における周方向の幅は、同じ平面における磁石12(図15では第2磁石12bを記載)の周方向の幅よりも小さい。回転規制部33gは、軸C方向に沿って第1磁石12aと第2磁石12bとの間に設けられていない。このため、回転規制部33gは、軸C方向の物体側と像側に第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bをそれぞれ配置するためのスペースが不要であるため、円柱状をなしている。その結果、回転規制部33gの加工が容易となる。
 ボイスコイルモータ10Bは、第1磁石12a及び第2磁石12bを軸Cに沿ってこの順序で並べた組を2組有する。図15に示す平面、すなわち軸Cと直交する平面で見たとき、同種の磁石(図15では第2磁石12b)が周方向に沿って180°ごとに2か所設けられている。
 以上説明した本発明の実施の形態3によれば、上述した実施の形態1と同様の効果を得ることができる。
 また、本実施の形態3によれば、磁石12の数を少なくするとともに回転規制部33gも小さくしているため、一段と小型化及び軽量化を図ることが可能となる。
(実施の形態4)
 図20は、本発明の実施の形態4に係る内視鏡を備えた内視鏡システムの構成を示す図である。同図に示す内視鏡システム100は、内視鏡90と、制御装置94と、表示装置96とを備える。内視鏡90は、上述した実施の形態1~3に係る光学ユニットのいずれかを備える。
 内視鏡90は、人体等の被検体内に導入可能であって、被検体内の所定の観察部位を光学的に撮像する。なお、内視鏡90が導入される被検体は、人体に限らず、他の生体でもよく、機械、建造物等の人工物でもよい。換言すれば、内視鏡90は、医療用内視鏡でもよいし、工業用内視鏡でもよい。
 内視鏡90は、被検体の内部に導入される挿入部91と、挿入部91の基端に位置する操作部92と、操作部92から延出される複合ケーブルとしてのユニバーサルコード93と、を備える。
 挿入部91は、先端に配設される先端部91a、先端部91aの基端側に配設される湾曲自在な湾曲部91b、及び湾曲部91bの基端側に配設されて操作部92の先端側に接続され可撓性を有する可撓管部91cを有する。先端部91aには、被写体からの光を集光して該被写体を撮像する撮像部80が設けられている。撮像部80は、被写体からの光を集光する光学ユニット1、1A又は1Bと、光学ユニット1、1A又は1Bが集光した光を光電変換して出力する撮像素子とを有する。撮像素子は、CCD(Charge Coupled Device)又はCMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)を用いて構成される。なお、内視鏡90は、挿入部91に可撓管部91cを有しない硬性内視鏡でもよい。
 操作部92は、湾曲部91bの湾曲状態を操作するアングル操作部92aと、上述したボイスコイルモータ10の作動を指示し、光学ユニット1、1A又は1Bにおけるズーム作動を行うズーム操作部92bと、を有する。アングル操作部92aはノブ形状で形成され、ズーム操作部92bはレバー形状で形成されているが、それぞれボリュームスイッチ、プッシュスイッチ等の他の形式であってもよい。
 ユニバーサルコード93は、操作部92と制御装置94とを接続する部材である。内視鏡90は、ユニバーサルコード93の基端部に設けられるコネクタ93aを介して制御装置94に接続される。
 挿入部91、操作部92及びユニバーサルコード93には、ワイヤ、電気線及び光ファイバ等のケーブル95が挿通される。
 制御装置94は、湾曲部91bの湾曲状態を制御する駆動制御部94aと、撮像部80を制御する画像制御部94bと、図示しない光源装置を制御する光源制御部94cと、を有する。制御装置94は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)等のプロセッサを有し、内視鏡システム100の全体を統括して制御する。
 駆動制御部94aは、アクチュエータを有し、ワイヤを介して操作部92及び湾曲部91bと機械的に接続される。駆動制御部94aは、ワイヤを進退させることで湾曲部91bの湾曲状態を制御する。
 画像制御部94bは、電気線を介して撮像部80及び操作部92と電気的に接続される。画像制御部94bは、撮像部80が有するボイスコイルモータ10又は10Bの駆動制御及び撮像部80が撮像した画像の処理を行う。画像制御部94bが処理した画像は、表示装置96で表示される。
 光源制御部94cは、光ファイバを介して光源及び操作部92と光学的に接続される。光源制御部94cは、先端部91aから照射される光源の明るさ等を制御する。
 なお、操作部92を挿入部91と別体で形成し、遠隔操作によって挿入部91の操作を行う構成としてもよい。
 以上の構成を有する内視鏡システム100は、上述した光学ユニット1、1A又は1Bを有する撮像部80を備えるため、小型で迅速にズーム変更することができ、動画撮像に好適である。
 また、内視鏡システム100によれば、可動部3、3A又は3Bに磁石12を設ける一方、固定部2又は2Bにコイル11を設けているため、コイル11に接続されるケーブルを動かす必要がない。このため、内視鏡90の先端部の限られたスペースにおいてケーブルが動いて断線を生じてしまうおそれがなく、耐久性にも優れている。
(その他の実施の形態)
 ここまで、本発明を実施するための形態を説明してきたが、本発明は上述した実施の形態によってのみ限定されるべきものではない。例えば、上述した光学ユニット1、1A又は1Bに対し、磁気を検出する少なくとも1つの磁気検出器と、磁気検出器の検出結果に基づいてコイル11に流れる電流を制御する電流制御部をさらに具備させてもよい。磁気検出器は、例えばホール素子や磁気抵抗効果素子(MR素子)を用いて実現される。磁気検出器は、コイル11の径方向外周側に設けられる支持部材に固設される。磁気検出器が検出した磁気に基づいてコイル11に流れる電流を制御することにより、可動部3、3A又は3Bの駆動速度及び停止位置を一段と的確に制御することが可能となる。
 また、回転規制部を複数設けてもよい。なお、小型化及び軽量化の実現に加えて、部品に対する要求精度を必要以上に高くせずに製造コストを抑制して経済的な光学ユニットを提供するには、回転規制部の数をなるべく少なくした方がより好ましい。
 また、可動部に配設する磁石の数も、実施の形態1~3に記載したものに限定されるわけではない。
 また、固定部に設けられる肉抜き部は、回転規制部や磁石を組み付けることができればよく、径方向外周側まで貫通していなくてもよい。
 このように、本発明は、ここでは記載していない様々な実施の形態等を含み得るものであり、請求の範囲に記載した技術的思想を逸脱しない範囲内において適宜設計変更等を行うことが可能である。

Claims (12)

  1.  少なくとも物体側固定レンズ群及び像側固定レンズ群のいずれか1つを保持する筒形状の固定部と、
     前記物体側固定レンズ群と前記像側固定レンズ群の間で可動レンズ群を保持し、前記固定部の径方向内側に前記固定部に対して摺動可能に配置され、前記固定部と同じ中心軸を有する筒形状の可動部と、
     前記固定部に配置されたコイル、及び前記可動部に配置されて前記中心軸と交差する方向に磁気分極された磁石を有し、前記可動部を前記中心軸方向に沿って前記固定部に対して相対移動させることが可能なボイスコイルモータと、
     前記可動部の前記固定部に対する前記中心軸のまわりの回転を規制する回転規制部と、
     を備えることを特徴とする光学ユニット。
  2.  前記回転規制部は、前記可動部に取り付けられる別部材からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学ユニット。
  3.  前記固定部は、筒形状の少なくとも一部に肉抜き部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光学ユニット。
  4.  前記磁石は、前記固定部の前記肉抜き部内に位置することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光学ユニット。
  5.  前記回転規制部は、前記固定部の前記肉抜き部内に位置することを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の光学ユニット。
  6.  前記コイルは、前記中心軸のまわりに巻かれていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光学ユニット。
  7.  前記磁石は、前記中心軸に対して対称な位置に設けられることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光学ユニット。
  8.  前記磁石は、前記中心軸方向に沿って隣り合い、磁気分極方向が互いに逆である第1磁石及び第2磁石からなる組を複数有し、
     複数の前記第1磁石は、同一の磁気分極方向を有し、
     前記コイルは、複数の前記第1磁石に対向する第1コイルと、複数の前記第2磁石に対向し、前記第1コイルに接続される第2コイルと、を有し、
     前記第1コイルと前記第2コイルは、電流の流れる方向が互いに逆であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の光学ユニット。
  9.  前記回転規制部は、前記中心軸方向に沿って隣り合う少なくとも一組の第1磁石と第2磁石の間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の光学ユニット。
  10.  前記回転規制部の前記中心軸と直交する平面における幅は、該平面における磁石の幅より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の光学ユニット。
  11.  前記回転規制部は、少なくとも前記固定部と接触する部分がR形状をなすことを特徴とする請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の光学ユニット。
  12.  被検体の内部に挿入されて該被検体の内部を観察する内視鏡であって、
     請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の光学ユニットと、
     前記光学ユニットが集光した光を電気信号に変換する撮像素子と、
     を備えることを特徴とする内視鏡。
