- the photoelectric conversion efficiency (IPCE) tends to gradually decrease with the constant value as a boundary. This is because when the second material (light absorber) 40 becomes thicker, the main component (for example, bismuth vanadium oxide (BiVO 4 )) is originally low in conductivity, so that it is conducted through the second material (light absorber) 40. - IPCE largely depends on whether or not the above is satisfied.
- the average radius R 2 satisfies R 2 ⁇ L / 2
- the amount of light absorption gradually increases as the R 2 value increases, and starts decreasing after reaching the maximum value. - the sample holder 200 is variable not only in the in-plane rotation ( ⁇ ), but also the distance to the magnetron 300 and the viewing angle ( ⁇ ) with respect to the magnetron 300. By appropriately selecting these conditions, the average of the nanorods 30 is obtained. - the viewing angle ( ⁇ ) with respect to the magnetron 300 is also changed while the sample holder 200 is rotated in-plane ( ⁇ ), and the WO 3 is preferentially deposited in a specific direction due to the effect of shadowing. Avoid (FIG. 8B).

Abstract
Description

A>Eg
A<Ec

A<Ec
本発明では、この第2の材料(光吸収体)40の平均の厚みΔR(すなわち、ヘテロ接合ナノロッド50の平均半径R2とナノロッド30の平均半径R1の差ΔR)は、好ましくは25nm<ΔR<40nmの範囲に設定する。
なお、25℃での評価はAM1.5Gにおける放射照度量1SUN(1000W/m2)で行い、50℃での評価は放射照度量3SUN(3000W/m2)で行った。
A>Eg
A<Ec
