Description

도전패턴
본 발명은 도전패턴에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 전도성을 향상시키고, 크랙에 의한 전기적 단선 불량을 방지하는 도전패턴에 관한 것이다.
최근 다양한 전자 제품에서 디스플레이 장치에 표시된 화상에 손가락 또는 스타일러스(stylus) 등의 입력 장치를 접촉하는 방식으로 입력을 하는 터치 패널이 적용되고 있다.
이러한 터치 패널은 크게 저항막 방식의 터치 패널과 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널로 구분될 수 있다. 저항막 방식의 터치 패널은 입력 장치의 압력에 의하여 유리와 전극이 단락되어 위치가 검출된다. 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널은 손가락이 접촉했을 때 전극 사이의 정전 용량이 변화하는 것을 감지하여 위치가 검출된다.
저항막 방식의 터치 패널은 반복 사용에 의하여 성능이 저하될 수 있으며 스크래치(scratch)가 발생될 수 있다. 이에 의해 내구성이 뛰어나고 수명이 긴 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다.
상기 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널은 터치 명령 입력이 가능한 유효영역과 상기 유효영역 외곽의 비유효 영역으로 정의된다. 상기 유효영역에 형성되는 전극패턴은 디스플레이 장치로부터의 광을 투과시킬 수 있도록 투명한 도전물질로 형성된다.
종래에는 상기 전극패턴이 인듐-주석 산화물(indium tin oxide, ITO)로 형성되었다. 상기 인듐-주석 산화물은 면저항이 높고, 재료 비용이 높으며, 또한 원료 시장에서의 인듐 수급이 불안정한 한계가 있으며, 최근의 추세인 플렉서블 표시장치에 사용되지 못하는 문제가 있다.
최근에는 상기 인듐-주석 산화물(indium tin oxide, ITO)을 대체하기 위해 은나노 와이어와 같은 투명전극 물질에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있다.
도 1은 종래의 은나노 와이어로 형성된 투명전극에 대한 도면이다.
도 1을 참조하면, 종래의 투명도전시트(A)는 은나노 와이어(NW)를 포함한다. 상기 은나노 와이어(NW)는 종횡비가 제한되고, 고투과율을 위해 100nm 수준의 작은 직경으로 제조하여, 결과적으로 5um 내지 10um의 비교적 짧은 길이의 은나노 와이어(NW)를 투명도전시트(A)에 적용하였다.
상기 투명도전시트(A)를 일정한 폭으로 패터닝하여 투명전극(B)을 형성한다. 상기 투명전극(B)은 다수의 은나노 와이어(NW)를 포함하는데, 상기 투명전극(B)의 은나노 와이어(NW)는 길이가 짧아 각각의 은나노 와이어(NW)간의 단선이 많아 전도도가 낮아지는 문제점이 있었다.
또한, 상기 투명전극(B)은 외부충격에 의해 크랙이 발생하여 전기적으로 개방되는 불량이 발생하는 문제점이 있다.
본 발명의 일 과제는 광투과성을 유지하면서 전도성을 향상시키는 도전패턴을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 과제는 제조단가를 절감하는 도전패턴을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 과제는 크랙을 방지하고, 크랙 발생시 전기적 단선을 방지하는 도전패턴을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명이 해결하고자 하는 과제가 상술한 과제로 제한되는 것은 아니며, 언급되지 아니한 과제들은 본 명세서 및 첨부된 도면으로부터 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 명확하게 이해될 수 있을 것이다.
본 발명의 일 양상에 따른 하나의 터치화소를 형성하는 단위 도전패턴을 적어도 하나 이상 포함하는 도전패턴에 있어서, 상기 단위 도전패턴은 양 끝단을 구비하는 다수의 나노 구조체를 포함하고, 상기 단위 도전패턴 내부에 포함된 전체 나노 구조체 대비 양 끝단 모두가 상기 단위 도전패턴의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체의 비율이 70%이상이다.
본 발명에 의하면, 도전패턴의 나노 구조체 중 양단이 도전패턴의 측면과 만나는 나노 구조체의 비율을 높게 형성함으로써 나노 구조체간의 교차영역이 증가하여 전도성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
또 본 발명에 의하면, 도전패턴의 교차하는 나노 구조체가 폴리머 제거과정에서 전기적으로 연결되므로 별도의 처리과정을 생략할 수 있어 제조단가를 절감할 수 있다.
또 본 발명에 의하면, 크랙이 발생할 가능성이 높은 연결부의 나노 구조체 중 양단이 연결부의 측면과 만나는 나노 구조체의 비율을 높게 형성함으로써 크랙발생을 줄이고, 크랙이 발생하더라도 전기적으로 단선되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
본 발명의 효과가 상술한 효과들로 제한되는 것은 아니며, 언급되지 아니한 효과들은 본 명세서 및 첨부된 도면으로부터 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 명확히 이해될 수 있을 것이다.

단위 도전 패턴의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체의 끝단은 상기 매트릭스의 외부로 노출될 수 있다.
상기 매트릭스는 도전성 물질을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 매트릭스는 상기 다수의 나노 구조체의 산화를 방지할 수 있다.

이하, 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 도전패턴에 대하여 설명한다.
도 2는 실시 예에 따른 터치패널에 대한 분해 사시도이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 터치패널(1)은 커버 기판(10), 제1 기판(20), 제2 기판(30) 및 인쇄회로기판(40)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제2 기판(30)은 상기 커버 기판(10)의 하부에 위치하고, 상기 제1 기판(20)은 상기 제2 기판(30)의 하부에 위치한다.
상기 커버 기판(10)은 상기 제2 기판(30)에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 커버 기판(10)과 상기 제2 기판(30)은 광학 투명 접착제(Optical Clear Adhesive, OCA) 등의 접착 물질을 이용하여 접착될 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(20)은 상기 제2 기판(30)에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 제1 기판(20)은 상기 제2 기판(30)과 광학 투명 접착제(Optical Clear Adhesive, OCA) 등의 접착 물질을 이용하여 접착될 수 있다.
상기 커버 기판(10)은 유리 또는 플라스틱을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 커버 기판(10)은 강화 유리, 반강화유리, 소다라임 유리, 강화 플락스틱 또는 연성 플라스틱을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(20) 및 제2 기판(30)은 폴리 에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(poly ethylene terephthalate, PET) 등의 플라스틱을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(20) 및 제2 기판(30)에는 전극패턴 및 배선패턴이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(20)에는 제1 전극패턴(21) 및 제1 배선패턴(25)이 형성될 수 있고, 상기 제2 기판(30)에는 제2 전극패턴(31) 및 제2 배선패턴(35)이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(21)은 제1 방향으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(25)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
상기 제2 전극패턴(31)은 제2 방향으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제2 방향은 상기 제1 방향과 교차하는 방향일 수 있다. 상기 제2 전극패턴(31)은 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)과 교차하는 방향으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제2 전극패턴(31)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(35)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
상기 인쇄회로기판(40)은 상기 제1 기판(20) 및 제2 기판(30)에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(40)은 상기 제1 기판(20) 및 제2 기판(30)의 일 측에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(40)은 상기 제1 기판(20) 및 제2 기판(30)의 일측에 부착되어 상기 제1 배선패턴(23) 및 제2 배선패턴(33)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(40)과 부착되는 상기 제1 기판(20) 및 제2 기판(30)의 일 측에는 이방성 전도성 필름(Anisotropic Conductive Film, ACF)이 도포될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(40)은 상기 이방성 전도성 필름에 의해 상기 제1 배선패턴(25) 및 제2 배선패턴(35)에 전압을 인가할 수 있다.
상기 인쇄회로기판(40)은 잘 휘어질 수 있는 연성회로기판(Flexible Printed Circuit Board, FPCB)일 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(40)에는 상기 제1 및 제2 배선패턴(25, 35)을 통해 상기 제1 및 제2 전극패턴(21, 31)으로부터 센싱 신호를 전달받고 이를 제어하는 제어부가 형성될 수 있다.
도 3은 실시 예에 따른 터치패널의 상면도이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 터치패널은 유효영역(AA) 및 비유효 영역(UA)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 유효영역(AA)은 사용자의 터치 명령 입력이 가능한 영역을 의미하며, 상기 비유효 영역(UA)은 상기 유효영역(AA)의 외곽에 위치하는 사용자의 터치가 이루어짐에도 활성화되지 않아 터치 명령 입력이 이루어지지 않는 영역을 의미한다.
상기 터치패널이 표시패널에 부착되어 사용되는 경우 상기 터치패널의 유효 영역(AA) 및 비유효 영역(UA)은 표시장치의 표시영역 및 비표시 영역과 대응될 수 있다. 상기 표시 영역은 화상을 표시하는 영역이고 상기 비표시 영역은 화상을 표시하지 않는 영역이다. 따라서, 상기 터치패널의 유효 영역(AA)은 광을 투과할 수 있는 영역으로 구성되어야 하고, 상기 터치패널의 비유효 영역(UA)은 광을 투과하지 않는 영역으로 구성될 수 있다.
상기 유효영역(AA)에는 다수의 전극패턴이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 기판(20)의 유효 영역(AA)에는 다수의 제1 전극패턴(21)이 형성될 수 있고, 상기 제2 기판(30)의 유효 영역(AA)에는 다수의 제2 전극패턴(31)이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(21) 및 제2 전극패턴(31)은 각각 다수의 바디영역과 연결부를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 바디영역은 한 방향으로 배열되고, 상기 연결부는 인접하는 바디영역을 연결할 수 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(21)은 제1 바디영역(22) 및 제1 연결부(23)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1 바디영역(22)은 제1 방향을 따라 배열될 수 있고, 상기 제1 연결부(23)는 제1 방향으로 인접하는 제1 바디영역(22)을 연결할 수 있다. 상기 제1 바디영역(22)과 제1 연결부(23)는 일체로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제2 전극패턴(31)은 제2 바디영역(32) 및 제2 연결부(33)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제2 바디영역(32)은 상기 제1 방향과 교차하는 제2 방향을 따라 배열될 수 있고, 상기 제2 연결부(33)는 제2 방향으로 인접하는 제2 바디영역(32)을 연결할 수 있다. 상기 제2 바디영역(32)과 제2 연결부(33)는 일체로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 바디영역(22) 및 제2 바디영역(32)은 각각 단위 도전패턴으로 정의될 수 있다. 적어도 하나 이상의 상기 단위 도전패턴에 의해 터치화소가 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 연결부(23)와 상기 제2 연결부(33)는 서로 교차하여 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 연결부(23)와 제2 연결부(33)는 서로 다른 기판에 형성되므로 전기적으로 개방된다.
상기 비유효 영역(UA)에는 다수의 배선패턴이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 기판(20)의 비유효 영역(UA)에는 다수의 제1 배선패턴(25)이 형성될 수 있고, 상기 제2 기판(30)의 비유효 영역(UA)에는 다수의 제2 배선패턴(35)이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(21)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(25)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(25)과 일체로 형성될 수도 있고, 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(25)과 별개로 형성될 수도 있다.
상기 제2 전극패턴(31)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(35)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 상기 제2 전극패턴(31)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(35)과 일체로 형성될 수도 있고, 상기 제2 전극패턴(31)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(35)과 별개로 형성될 수도 있다.
상기 제1 및 제2 전극패턴(21, 31)과 상기 제1 및 제2 배선패턴(25,35)은 도전성 물질을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1 및 제2 전극패턴(25,35)은 투명도전물질로 형성될 수 있다.
도 4는 실시 예에 따른 제1 전극패턴을 확대한 도면이고, 도 5는 실시 예에 따른 전극패턴을 P지점에서 바라본 측면도이다.
도 4 및 도 5를 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 제1 전극패턴(21)은 제1 바디영역(22) 및 제1 연결부(23)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(21)은 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 및 매트릭스(55)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(50)는 종횡비가 10만이상인 나노 파이버일 수 있다. 상기 나노 구조체(50)의 폭은 1um 이하일 수 있다. 상기 나노 구조체(50)는 원기둥 형상으로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(50)는 금속물질을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 금속물질은 은(silver), 금(gold), 구리(copper), 니켈(nickel), 금-도금 은(goldplated silver), 백금(platinum) 및 팔라듐(palladium)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 나노 구조체(50)가 은을 포함하는 경우 상기 나노 구조체(50)를 은나노 구조체라 정의할 수 있다. 또는, 상기 나노 구조체(50)는 금속물질만으로 형성될 수도 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(50)는 작은 폭으로 형성되어 육안으로 시인할 수 없고, 상기 나노 구조체(50)를 포함하는 제1 전극패턴(21)의 높은 광투과성이 보장된다.
상기 매트릭스(55)는 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 본체를 구성하고, 상기 나노 구조체(50)가 내부로 분산되거나 내장되는 고체상태의 재료를 지칭한다.
상기 매트릭스(55)는 외부로부터 상기 나노 구조체(50)를 보호하는 역할을 할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(55)는 상기 나노 구조체(50)의 산화를 방지할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(55)는 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)이 상기 제1 기판(20)에 부착될 수 있도록 접착력을 제공할 수도 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(50)는 상기 매트릭스(55)와 직접 접촉할 수 있다. 즉, 상기 나노 구조체(50)의 외면은 상기 매트릭스(55)와 직접 접촉할 수 있다.
상기 매트릭스(55)는 전도성 폴리머를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(55)가 전도성 폴리머를 포함하는 경우 상기 매트릭스(55)는 전하의 이동경로를 제공할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(55)가 전하의 이동경로를 제공함으로써 상기 매트릭스(55)는 보조전극의 역할을 할 수 있다.
상기 전도성 폴리머는 폴리아세틸렌, 폴리티오펜, 폴리피롤, 폴리파라페닐린, 폴리파라페닐렌 비닐렌, PEDOT:PSS 및 탄소 나노튜브 등이 사용될 수 있으며, 이에 한정하지 않는다.
상기 제1 바디영역(22)은 사각형상을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 바디영역(22)은 네측면을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 바디영역(22)은 제1 측면(22a), 제2 측면(22b), 제3 측면(22c) 및 제4 측면(22d)을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 측면(22a)은 상기 제3 측면(22c)과 대향하는 면이고, 상기 제2 측면(22b)은 상기 제4 측면(22d)과 대향하는 면으로 정의된다. 상기 제2 측면(22b)은 상기 제1 측면(22a) 및 제3 측면(22c)과 인접하는 면이고, 상기 제4 측면(22d)은 상기 제1 측면(22a) 및 제3 측면(22c)과 인접하는 면이다.
상기 제1 내지 제4 측면(22a 내지 22d)은 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 단면일 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(50) 또한 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 단면을 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 면을 지나는 나노 구조체(50)는 패터닝되어 단면을 가질 수 있다. 상기 나노 구조체(50)의 패터닝된 면은 상기 매트릭스(55)의 외부로 노출될 수 있다. 상기 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 상기 나노 구조체(50)와 상기 매트릭스(55)의 단면은 동일한 면이므로, 패터닝에 의해 상기 나노 구조체(50)의 일단은 상기 매트릭스(55)의 외부로 노출된다.
다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중 일부의 나노 구조체는 양단이 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 측면과 만날 수 있고, 일부의 나노 구조체는 양단 중 일단이 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 측면과 만나며, 타단은 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 내부에 위치할 수 있다. 또한, 나머지 일부의 나노 구조체는 양단이 모두 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 내부에 위치할 수 있다.
다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중 양단이 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 측면과 만나는 나노 구조체를 제1 나노 구조체(51)라고 정의할 수 있다. 또한, 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)를 제외한 나노 구조체를 제2 나노 구조체(53)라고 정의할 수 있다.
즉, 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 양단 중 적어도 일단이 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 내부에 위치하는 나노 구조체를 제2 나노 구조체(53)로 정의할 수 있다. 다시 말해, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(53)는 상기 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중 양단 중 일단이 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 측면과 만나며, 타단이 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 내부에 위치하는 나노 구조체와 양단이 모두 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 내부에 위치하는 나노 구조체일 수 있다.
먼저, 상기 제1 바디영역(22)을 예로 들어 설명하면, 상기 제1 바디영역(22)에서의 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중 양단 모두가 상기 제1 바디영역(22)의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체로 정의될 수 있다. 상기 제1 바디영역(22)은 단위 도전패턴으로 정의되므로, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 상기 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중 양단 모두가 상기 단위 도전패턴의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체일 수 있다. 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 제1 단(51a) 및 제2 단(51b)을 포함하고, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 제1 단(51a)은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)의 제1 측면(22a)과 만나고, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 제2 단(51b)은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)의 제3 측면(22c)과 만날 수 있다. 도면에서는 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 양단이 서로 대향하는 상기 제1 측면(22a) 및 제3 측면(22c)과 만나는 것을 도시하였으나, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 양단은 인접하는 두 개의 측면과 만날 수 있다.
도시하지 않았지만, 상기 제1 단(51a)과 제2 단(51b) 사이를 잇는 직선은 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)와 만날 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 단(51a)과 제2 단(51b) 사이를 잇는 직선을 긋는 경우 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 적어도 한점에서 상기 직선과 교차할 수 있다. 상기 교차하는 점은 상기 제1 단(51a)과 제2 단(51b) 이외의 점일 수 있다.
상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 형상이 정해지지 않은 곡선 형상을 가질 수 있으므로, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 상기 제1 단(51a) 및 제2 단(51b) 사이에서 상기 제1 단(51a)과 제2 단(51b) 사이의 직선과 교차하는 영역이 존재할 수 있다. 상기 제1 단(51a)과 제2 단(51b) 사이의 직선은 가상의 선일 수 있다.
또한, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(53)는 제1 단(53a) 및 제2 단(53b)을 포함하고, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(53)의 제1 단(53a)은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)의 제1 단(22a)과 만나고, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(53)의 제2 단(53b)은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)의 내부에 위치할 수 있다.
전체의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율은 70%이상일 수 있다. 상기 제1 바디영역(22)에 형성된 전체의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율은 70%이상일 수 있다.
전체의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율을 높게 형성한다는 의미는 상기 나노 구조체(50)를 긴 길이로 형성하는 것을 의미하므로, 길이가 긴 나노 구조체(50)를 형성함으로써 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(50) 당 교차하는 나노 구조체(50)의 개수가 증가한다. 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(50) 당 교차하는 나노 구조체(50)의 개수가 증가함으로써 나노 구조체(50) 사이의 전하 이동경로가 많아져 결과적으로 제1 전극패턴(21)의 전도성이 향상될 수 있는 효과가 있다.
상기 전체의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율을 70% 미만으로 형성하는 경우 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)의 전도성 향상 효과가 작다. 따라서, 상기 제1 바디영역(22)에서 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율을 70%이상으로 형성하여 전도성 향상 효과를 높일 수 있다.
상기 제1 바디영역(22)은 제1 폭(d1)을 가질 수 있고, 상기 제1 연결부(23)는 제2 폭(d2)을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 폭(d1)은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)의 서로 대향하는 측면 사이의 거리일 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 폭(d1)은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)의 제1 측면(22a)과 제3 측면(22c) 사이의 거리일 수 있다.
상기 제1 폭(d1)은 상기 제2 폭(d2)과 서로 다른 값을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제2 폭(d2)은 제1 폭(d1)의 50% 내지 60% 비율로 형성할 수 있다. 상기 제1 폭(d1)은 50um 내지 60um일 수 있고, 상기 제2 폭(d2)은 30um일 수 있다.
상기 제1 연결부(23)는 사각형상으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 연결부(23)는 인접하는 두 개의 제1 바디영역(22)을 연결하므로, 2개의 측면을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 연결부(23)는 제1 바디영역(22)과 접하지 않는 제1 측면(23a) 및 제2 측면(23b)을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제2 폭(d2)은 상기 제1 측면(23a)과 제2 측면(23b) 사이의 거리로 정의될 수 있다.
상기 제1 연결부(23)의 제1 측면(23a) 및 제2 측면(23b) 또한 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 단면일 수 있다.
상기 제1 연결부(23) 또한 제1 나노 구조체(51) 및 제2 나노 구조체(53)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1 연결부(23)에서 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 양단이 상기 제1 연결부(23)의 측면과 만나는 나노 구조체가 제1 나노 구조체(51)로 정의된다. 즉, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 상기 제1 연결부(23)에서 양 끝단 모두가 상기 제1 연결부(23)의 가장자리에 접하는 나노 구조체로 정의될 수 있다. 상기 제1 연결부(23)에서 다수의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 적어도 일단이 제1 연결부(23)의 내부에 위치하는 나노 구조체가 제2 나노 구조체(53)로 정의될 수 있다.
도면에서, 상기 제1 연결부(23)에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 제1 단(51a)은 상기 제1 연결부(23)의 제1 측면(23a)과 만나고, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 제2 단(51b)은 상기 제1 연결부(23)의 제2 측면(23b)과 만날 수 있다.
또한, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(53)의 제1 단(53a)은 상기 제1 연결부(23)의 내부에 위치하고, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(53)의 제2 단(53b)은 상기 제1 연결부(23)의 제2 측면(23b)과 만날 수 있다.
상기 제1 연결부(23)에 형성된 전체의 나노 구조체(50) 중에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)에서의 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율과 다를 수 있다.
상기 제1 연결부(23)에서의 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율은 상기 제1 바디영역(22)에서의 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율보다 클 수 있다. 상기 제1 연결부(23)에서의 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율은 80%이상일 수 있다.
상기 제1 연결부(23)에서의 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율을 80%이상으로 형성함으로써 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(50) 당 교차하는 나노 구조체(50)의 개수가 증가하고, 이에 따라 나노 구조체(50) 사이의 전하 이동경로가 많아져 결과적으로 제1 전극패턴(21)의 전도성이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
또한, 상대적으로 폭이 좁아 외부충격에 의해 크랙이 발생할 가능성이 높은 제1 연결부(23)에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)의 비율을 80 % 이상으로 형성함으로써 나노 구조체(50)가 뼈대 역할을 하여 크랙발생을 줄일 수 있고, 크랙이 발생하더라도, 크랙 발생영역의 나노 구조체(50)가 전하의 이동경로를 제공할 수 있어 전기적으로 단선되는 불량을 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
도 4 및 도 5는 상기 제1 전극패턴(21)에 대해 설명하였으나, 상기 제2 전극패턴(31) 또한 동일한 기술적 특징을 가질 수 있다.
실시 예에서 상기 제1 바디영역(22)과 제2 바디영역(32)이 사각형상인 것을 예로 들어 설명하였으나, 상기 제1 바디영역(22) 및 제2 바디영역(32)은 다각형상, 원형상 또는 타원형상을 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 단위 도전패턴은 다각형상, 원형상 또는 타원형상을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 바디영역(22) 및 제2 바디영역(32)이 원형상 또는 타원 형상인 경우 상기 제1 나노 구조체(51)는 양 끝단 모두가 상기 제1 바디영역(22) 및 제2 바디영역(32)의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체로 정의될 수 있다.
도 6은 실시 예에 따른 전계방사장치를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 6을 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 전계방사장치(70)는 노즐(71), 주사기(72), 주사기 펌프(73), 전원 공급부(74) 및 컬렉터(75)를 포함한다.
상기 노즐(71)은 상기 주사기(72)와 연결되고, 상기 주사기(72)는 주사기 펌프(73)와 연결될 수 있다. 상기 주사기(72)에는 방사용액이 주입되고, 상기 주사기 펌프(73)는 상기 주사기(72)로 압력을 제공한다. 상기 주사기(72)에 주입된 방사용액은 상기 주사기 펌프(73)로부터의 압력에 의해 상기 방사용액을 상기 노즐(71)로 전달할 수 있다.
상기 방사용액은 금속물질 및 폴리머를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 주사기 펌프(73)는 상기 주사기(72)로 제공되는 압력을 조절하여 상기 노즐(71)을 통해 방사되는 방사용액의 양을 일정하게 조절하는 역할을 할 수 있다.
상기 전원 공급부(74)는 상기 노즐(71) 및 컬렉터(75)와 전기적으로 연결되고, 상기 전원 공급부(74)는 상기 노즐(71) 및 컬렉터(75)에 전압을 공급할 수 있다.
상기 전원 공급부(74)에 의해 상기 노즐(71) 및 컬렉터(75)에 전압이 가해지면, 상기 노즐(71)과 컬렉터(75) 사이에는 전계가 형성되고, 상기 전계의 세기가 상기 방사용액의 표면 장력과 같은 경우 전하를 띈 방사용액은 상기 노즐(71)의 끝부분에 맺히게 된다.
이 때, 상기 방사용액이 가지고 있는 표면장력 이상의 전압을 걸어주면 접지방향인 컬렉터(75) 방향으로 나노 섬유(80)가 분사된다. 이러한 과정의 나노 섬유(80) 생성방법을 전계방사법이라 한다.
실시 예에서는 나노 섬유(80) 생성방법으로 전계방사법을 예로 들어 설명하였으나, 이에 한정하지는 않는다.
상기 전계방사법을 통해 전원 공급부(74)로부터의 전압과 상기 주사기 펌프(73)를 통해 주입되는 압력을 조절함으로써 얇은 폭을 가지고, 종횡비가 긴 나노 섬유(80)를 생성할 수 있다.
상기 전계방사법을 통해 생성된 나노 섬유(80)는 금속물질 및 폴리머를 포함할 수 있다.
이후 상기 나노 섬유(80)의 폴리머를 제거하여 도 4 및 도 5의 금속물질만을 포함하는 나노 구조체(50)를 형성할 수 있다.
상기의 과정을 통해 얇은 폭을 가지는 나노 구조체(50)를 형성할 수 있어 전극패턴의 광투과율이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
또한, 종횡비가 큰, 결과적으로 길이가 긴 나노 구조체(50)를 형성할 수 있어 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(50)당 교차하는 나노 구조체(50)의 개수가 증가한다. 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(50)당 교차하는 나노 구조체(50)의 개수가 증가함으로써 나노 구조체(50) 사이의 전하 이동경로가 많아져, 결과적으로 도전패턴 전체의 전도성이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
상기 나노 섬유(80)의 폴리머는 열처리를 통해 제거될 수 있다.
상기 나노 섬유(80)의 폴리머 제거과정에서 교차하는 나노 구조체가 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
실시 예에서는 이러한 도전패턴의 전도성 향상 효과를 폴리머 제거과정을 통해 얻을 수 있어 표면에 유기막이 존재하는 은나노 와이어의 교차영역 처리과정에 비해 간이한 방법으로 전도성을 향상시킬 수 있어 제조단가를 절감할 수 있다. 또한, 한번의 과정으로 폴리머 제거와 교차영역의 처리를 동시에 실시할 수 있어 제조수율이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
도 7은 실시 예에 따른 터치패널이 적용되는 표시장치에 대한 사시도이다.
도 7을 참조하면 상기 표시장치(100)에는 외부로부터 명령 입력을 위한 입력버튼(110), 정지영상 및 동영상 촬영을 위한 카메라(120) 및 음성을 출력하는 스피커(130)가 형성될 수 있다.
상기 표시장치(100)는 앞서 설명한 터치패널(1) 및 표시패널(미도시)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 터치패널(1)은 상기 표시패널(미도시)의 전면에 형성되어 상기 표시장치(100)의 상면으로 커버 글라스(70)가 노출될 수 있다. 상기 표시패널(미도시)은 상기 터치패널(1)에 부착될 수 있다.
상기 표시패널(미도시)은 화상을 표시할 수 있다. 상기 표시패널(미도시)은 액정표시패널 또는 유기발광 표시패널일 수 있으며, 모바일 폰, TV, 네비게이션 장치 등 다양한 제품에 적용될 수 있다.
본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 터치패널이 적용되는 장치로 표시장치를 예로 들어 설명하였으나, 본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 터치패널이 적용되는 장치는 이에 한정되지 않고, 키패드, 노트북용 터치 패드, 차량용 터치 입력 장치 등 다양한 제품에 이용될 수 있다.
상기에서는 본 발명에 따른 실시예를 기준으로 본 발명의 구성과 특징을 설명하였으나 본 발명은 이에 한정되지 않으며, 본 발명의 사상과 범위 내에서 다양하게 변경 또는 변형할 수 있음은 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야의 당업자에게 명백한 것이며, 따라서 이와 같은 변경 또는 변형은 첨부된 특허청구범위에 속함을 밝혀둔다.

Claims (11)

  1. 하나의 터치화소를 형성하는 단위 도전패턴을 적어도 하나 이상 포함하는 도전패턴에 있어서,
    상기 단위 도전패턴은 양 끝단을 구비하는 다수의 나노 구조체를 포함하고,
    상기 단위 도전패턴 내부에 포함된 전체 나노 구조체 대비 양 끝단 모두가 상기 단위 도전패턴의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체의 비율이 70%이상인
    도전패턴.
  2. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 도전패턴은 서로 이웃하는 상기 단위 도전패턴을 연결하는 연결부를 포함하고,
    상기 연결부 내부에 포함된 전체 나노 구조체 대비 양 끝단 모두가 상기 연결부의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체의 비율이,
    상기 단위 도전패턴 내부에 포함된 전체 나노 구조체 대비 양 끝단 모두가 상기 단위 도전패턴의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체의 비율과 상이한
    도전패턴.
  3. 제2 항에 있어서,
    상기 연결부 내부에 포함된 상기 전체 나노 구조체에 대한 양 끝단 모두가 상기 연결부의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체의 비율이 80%이상인
    도전패턴.
  4. 제2 항에 있어서,
    상기 연결부의 폭은 상기 단위 도전패턴 폭의 50% 내지 60%인
    도전패턴.
  5. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 나노 구조체는 은(Ag) 물질을 포함하는
    도전패턴.
  6. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 나노 구조체는 전계 방사법에 의해 형성되는
    도전패턴.
  7. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 도전패턴은 상기 다수의 나노 구조체를 수용하는 매트릭스를 포함하는
    도전패턴.
  8. 제7 항에 있어서,
    상기 단위 도전 패턴의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체의 끝단은 상기 매트릭스의 외부로 노출되는
    도전패턴.
  9. 제7 항에 있어서,
    상기 매트릭스는 도전성 물질을 포함하는
    도전패턴.
  10. 제7 항에 있어서,
    상기 매트릭스는 상기 다수의 나노 구조체의 산화를 방지하는
    도전패턴.
  11. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 양 끝단 모두가 상기 단위 도전패턴의 가장자리와 접하는 나노 구조체는 상기 양 끝단을 연결하는 직선과 적어도 하나 이상의 점에서 만나는
    도전패턴.
