  • the application is enabled to collect the code information of each item and stores in the memory of wearable device. Thereby, the user can transmit all code information to the ERP server as per his convenient time.
  • the user is enabled to transmit the item number information to the ERP server using a wireless network wherein the ERP server identifies the request received from the wearable device and transmits the request further to the database server.
  • the database server decrypts the item number information using first private key and extracts the relevant information.
  • the database server locates all necessary information associated with the item number information and encrypts the associated information using second private key.
  • the associated information is at least one of location of the item, shipping information of the item, count of remaining item, pricing information, expiry date, configuration of the item, contents of the item, item history, manufacturing date, manufacturer and any combinations thereof.
  • the associated information is encrypted using the second private key by the database server and transmits it to the ERP server.
  • the user further transmits the preference information on how the associated data should be represented on the wearable device to the ERP server.
  • the ERP server receives the associated information from the database server and preference information from the wearable device.
  • the ERP server transmits the encrypted information to the wearable device wherein the wearable device decrypts the associated information using the second private key and outputs the associated information according to the user's preference.
  • the user's preference is at least one of making a live card in accordance with the associated information, voice output of the associated information and customizable display of the associated information or any combinations thereof.
  • the present invention enables the user to perform multiple tasks keeping his hands free from the device.
  • the present invention uncovers the immense potential of wearable device in the supply chain management industry by connecting it with the database server using a wireless network.
  • Figure 2 represents the wearable device 201 interconnected with the enterprise server 202 via wireless network 204 wherein the ERP management software of enterprise server 202 trans- receives the information to and from the wearable device 201.
  • the wearable device could be at least one of electronic glass 201a, smart watch 201b, wrist band 201c and phone 20 Id.
  • the ERP management software receives the encrypted information associated with a code of an item and further transmits the encrypted information to the database server 203.
  • the database server 203 is enabled to receive the encrypted information of the item from the ERP server 202 via wireless network 204 and is further enabled to decrypt the received encrypted information using first private key. Thereby, the database server 203 extracts the relevant information associated with that specific item.
  • the relevant information is at least one of location of the item, shipping information of the item, count of remaining item, pricing information, an expiry date, configurations of the item, content of the item, item history, manufacturing date, manufacturer name and any combinations thereof.
  • the database server 203 encrypts the associated information using the second private key and transmits it to the ERP server 202 using a wireless network 204.
  • the ERP management software of ERP server 202 receives the encrypted associated information from the database server 203 and transmits it to the wearable device 201.
  • the application of the wearable device 201 receives the encrypted associated information and decrypts it using the second private key.
  • the decrypted associated information is displayed on the display screen of the wearable device 201.
  • Figure 3 represents various modules of supply chain management software application of wearable device.
  • the supply chain management software application comprises user interactive multi-lingual GUI 301 and multi-language speech recognition module 302 thereby making the user's experience convenient and comfortable in using the device and further escalates the purpose to reach to large and diverse population.
  • the application includes multi-lingual speech recognition module 302 which enables the user to use the application in his native language thereby, making the user comfortable and providing a joyful experience to him.
  • the application includes a code reading module 303 which is enabled to read the code of the item. The code is usually printed on the body or housing of the item and the camera of the wearable device is enabled to capture the code of the item and the code reading module 303 of application is enabled to capture and read that code.
  • the imprinted code on the item is at least one of Barcode, QR code, number code, alphabetic code or a combination thereof.
  • the application also includes speech integration module 305 which is enabled to receive voice commands from the user and gives output as voice to the user.
  • the application further includes workflow integration module 306 which is enabled to define the specific workflow and timelines of various tasks of the application.
  • the application includes, notification system module 304 which is enabled to notify the user upon receiving any updates on the item of the product. For example, the user receives a notification upon receiving the association information from the database server, self-established reminder notifications, order updates of the item, present location of the item, task to be completed and so on and so forth.
  • the application is enabled to transfer the captured code information synchronously or asynchronously to the ERP server.
  • the user is enabled to capture code of multiple items in a given time and then collectively transmits all the information related to codes to ERP server using a wireless network.
  • the user is enabled to capture the code of one item and simultaneously transmits it to the ERP server.
  • the application provides flexible mode of operation to the user.
  • the application further provides encryption module 309 wherein the application encrypts the transmitting data with a first private key and decrypts the receiving data with a second private key.
  • the encryption methodology could be PS , WPA2-PSK or any combination thereof.
  • the first and second encryption keys are provided by the user and hence can be changed from time to time.
  • the software application is enabled to customize the display output of the associated information retrieved from the database wherein the user can opt for either live card service 308 or voice output to display on the wearable device.
  • the application is developed on REST or SOAP 310 based software architecture in order to provide scalable software architecture.
  • the protocol enables the application to offer web services to the user as well.

  • the small segments are analyzed to interpret the user's instructions thereby enabling the wearable device or the entire system to execute the user's instructions 800e.
  • the small segments are further analyzed by the fuzzy control module 800f to interpret the user's instructions and accordingly the associated information is represented as voice output on the wearable device 800g.
  • Figure 8b represents the alternative ways 802 of representing the associated information 803 retrieved from the database server 801.
  • the user optionally chooses to create a live card 803a or voice output 805a with respect to the associated information.
  • the live card 803c is displayed on the display screen of the wearable device 803d to present it to the user for further use and voice output is spoken by the speaker unit 805b of the wearable device.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne la gestion de chaîne d'approvisionnement mise en œuvre par une technologie pouvant être portée, le cycle de vie d'un élément pouvant être suivi à partir de l'entrepôt jusqu'à ce qu'il atteigne l'utilisateur final, y compris l'environnement de commerce de détail. Le dispositif pouvant être porté est activé pour balayer un code d'un élément et le transmet au serveur d'entreprise, le serveur d'entreprise transmettant les informations de balayage au serveur de base de données pour extraire les informations requises.
