[0041]
The error ATM information 18 is described below with reference to FIG. 6. FIG. 6 shows an example of the error ATM information 18 of this embodiment. Information which is stored as the error ATM information 18 by the storage unit 15 performs collation between identification information (IP address), which is included in the notification telegram transmitted from the automatic transaction apparatus 2, and the IP address of the configuration information 16 stored by the storage unit 15, and when it is judged that it is transmitted from an unregistered automatic transaction apparatus 2 (including an automatic transaction apparatus 2 that was processed to assume a false transmission source in communications by spoofing or the like conducted by a malicious person), the notification telegram transmitted by the unregistered automatic transaction apparatus 2 is registered.
[0042]
The storage unit 15 correspondingly stores, as the error ATM information 18, identifier(Identifier) 601, operation status (AliveStatus) 602, reception status (NotificationStatus) 603, IP address (IP Address) 604, notification time (QueryNotificationTime) 605, recording time (InsertTime) 606, last update time (LastUpdateTime) 607, error type (ErrorType) 608, and notification data (data) 609. The unregistered automatic transaction apparatus 2 also includes an automatic transaction apparatus 2 that is judged to be unregistered because of processing to give a false transmission source in communications, such as the above-described spoofing, or an IP address setting error by a staff when the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is installed. It should be noted that the procedure is not limited to the above.
[0043]
The Identifier 601 is input with information identifying the automatic transaction apparatus 2. The description is omitted on the AliveStatus 602 and the NotificationStatus 603 because they were described concerning the status information 17 of FIG. 5. In this
embodiment, the error ATM information 18 has received a notification telegram, but it is judged as described above that the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not operating normally because of processing of falsifying a transmission source for communications such as spoofing, and it is assumed that value "0" is input to the AliveStatus 602 and the NotificationStatus 603.
[0044]
IP Address 604 is input with an IP address (IP address showing the automatic transaction apparatus 2 of the transmission source) indicating the automatic transaction apparatus 2 that is considered having transmitted the notification telegram. The description is omitted on QueryNotificationTime 605, InsertTime 606 and LastUpdateTime 607 because they have the same contents as those of the status information 17 of FIG. 5 described above. ErrorType 608 is input with information showing that the telegram was transmitted from the unregistered automatic transaction apparatus 2. In this embodiment, "1" is input as a value indicating an unregistered ATM failure. If another abnormality is considered, it may be controlled to input information other than the above. The description is omitted on Notification data 609 because it has the same contents as those of the status information 17.
[0045]
In this embodiment, as to the configuration information 16, the status information 17, and the error ATM information 18 described above, the host device 3 also have the same kind of information. And, for the configuration information, the configuration information 36 which is stored in the storage unit 35 of the host device 3 is a master. The configuration information 16 of the monitoring apparatus 1 is updated when the monitoring apparatus 1 performs periodically processing to refer to the configuration information 36 of the host device 3 which is a master.
[0046]
On the other hand, as to the status information and the error ATM information, the status information 17 and the error ATM information 18 which are stored in the storage unit 15 of the monitoring apparatus 1 are masters. The host device 3, when it has a notification about addition/update from the monitoring apparatus 1, updates by performing processing to refer to the status information 17 and the error ATM information 18 which are stored in the storage unit 15 of the monitoring apparatus 1.
[0047]
The "update" in this embodiment may be processing in which each unit refers to information of the master to recoginize a difference (variation) between the information stored in its own storage unit and the information of the master, and update is performed for the difference between them. And, each unit may also perform processing that a final update time of the master is referred to and all information of the master is stored again into the own storage unit.
[0048]
B. Operation of automatic transaction apparatus monitoring system B-l . Addition/update of configuration information 16 and configuration information 36
[0049]
The description is then made on addition/update operation of the configuration information 16 stored in the storage unit 15 of the monitoring apparatus 1 and the configuration information 36 stored in the storage unit 35 of the host device 3. In this embodiment, the configuration information 36 of the host device 3 and the configuration information 16 of the monitoring apparatus 1 are in a master-slave relationship as described above.
[0050]
The description is made on addition/update of the configuration information 36 of the host device 3. The host device 3 accepts the input of information necessary for
addition/update of the configuration information 36 from the input operation unit 33 operated by the staff. At this time, the various kinds of information described with reference to FIG. 4 are input additionally or updated. If the configuration information 36 had a change, a notification indicating that the change was made is to the monitoring apparatus 1.
[0051]
When the monitoring apparatus 1 receives the notification, it performs processing to refer to the configuration information 36 of the host device 3 in order to update the
configuration information 16 stored in the storage unit 15 within the monitoring apparatus 1 and updates the information which is stored by it.
[0052]
B-2. Addition/update of status information 17 and error ATM information
In this embodiment, addition/update of the status information 17 and the error ATM information 18 which are stored in the monitoring apparatus 1 and addition/update of the status information 37 and the error ATM information 38 which are stored in the host device 3 are described with reference to FIG. 3. FIG. 3 is a flow chart showing that reception of a notification telegram from the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is performed by the monitoring apparatus 1. Referring to this flow chart, description is made on the processing content of the monitoring apparatus 1 when the notification telegram was received from the automatic transaction apparatus 2. It is determined in this embodiment that the status information transmitted from the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is cash information.
[0053]
First, the monitoring apparatus 1 waits for the reception of the notification telegram including identification information (IP address 604) and status information (cash information) periodically transmitted from the automatic transaction apparatus 2. If the notification telegram is not received (No in S301), the monitoring apparatus 1 waits for the reception. When the notification telegram is received (Yes in S301), identification information and status information are stored in the temporary information storage unit 19 (S302).
[0054]
Subsequently, the configuration information 16 which is stored in the storage unit 15 within the monitoring apparatus 1 is retrieved based on the identification information stored in the temporary information storage unit 19, and it is checked whether the configuration information 16 has therein information which matches the identification information (S303).
[0055]
If the configuration information 16 has therein information which matches the identification information (Yes in S303), at least a part of the status information corresponding to the identification information stored in the temporary information storage unit 19 is updated as the status information 17 which is stored by the storage unit 15 (S304). After the status information 17 is updated, a telegram indicating completion of update of the status information 17 is created and transmitted to the host device 3 (S305).
[0056]
On the other hand, if the configuration information 16 does not have therein information which matches the identification information (No in S303), at least a part of the status information corresponding to the identification information stored in the temporary information storage unit 19 is stored as the error ATM information 18 (S306). If the same information as the identification information is already stored in the error ATM information 18, the contents of the error ATM information 18 are updated. When the error ATM information 18 is updated, a telegram indicating the completion of update of the error ATM information 18 is created and transmitted to the host device 3 (S307).
[0057]
When the host device 3 receives from the monitoring apparatus 1 a notification indicating that the status information 37 and the error ATM information 38 had a change or addition, the storage unit 15 of the monitoring apparatus 1 is accessed to refer to the status information 17 and the error ATM information 18, and the status information 37 and the error ATM information 38 stored in the storage unit 35 of the host device 3 are updated.
[0058]
It may also be configured in this embodiment that the error information ATM 18 which is stored in the storage unit 15 of the monitoring apparatus 1 cannot be deleted even if addition/update of the monitoring apparatus 1 can made. In such a case, it is determined that the host device 3 can delete information of the error information ATM 18. As described above, the error ATM information stores information which might have been undergone a dishonest act due to processing such as spoofing that masquerades as the transmission source in
communications. Therefore, by configuring as described above, it becomes that information cannot be erased easily by the monitoring apparatus 1 and unauthorized information deletion by anyone other than the administrator can be prevented when it is judged whether it is a dishonest act or a setting error by a staff operating the host device 3.
[0059]
Upon receiving an update notification of the error ATM information 18, the host device 3 acquires the information and updates the error ATM information 38 stored in the host device 3. Using the updated error ATM information 38, the staff operating the host device 3 identifies the automatic transaction apparatus 2 corresponding to the information stored in the error ATM information 38. For example, it is identified according to the stored IP address 604 which router this information has passed through, and a transmission source of a dishonest notification telegram can be tracked.
[0060]
By checking the IP address 604 of the error ATM information 38 and the IP address 413 of the configuration information 36 and by checking maintenance history information (not shown in drawings), it is also possible to find not the occurrence of a dishonest act but an input error when the automatic transaction apparatus 2 was installed. For example, when it is found according to maintenance history information that the IP address 604 of the error ATM information 38 has a single letter different from the IP address 413 of the
configuration information 36, and a time when the error ATM information 38 was recorded is a time when the automatic transaction apparatus 2 was undergone the maintenance, it can also be judged that it was an error by the staff.
[0061]
By configuring as described above, there can be provided an automatic transaction apparatus monitoring system that can distinguish whether the notification from the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is a notification from the automatic transaction apparatus 2 in which configuration information is recorded (registered), and can store separately the notification from the registered automatic transaction apparatus 2 and the notification of the unregistered automatic transaction apparatus 2. Accordingly, an information amount when information is between the monitoring apparatus 1 and the host device 3 can be reduced. In addition, since the information amount to be synchronized is small, secure synchronization can be realized even in an environment where the capacity of the communication line is low, and the automatic transaction apparatus 2 can be managed by applying this automatic transaction apparatus monitoring system.
Modified Embodiment 1
[0062]
A modified embodiment having a structure different from that of the above- described monitoring system is described below. This modified embodiment describes another operation of the NotificationStatus 503 of the status information 17 described with reference to FIG 5.
[0063]
In the embodiment 1, if the notification telegram from the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not received at all, the value "1" indicating that the notification telegram became a reception error is input into the NotificationStatus 503. And, the control unit 11 judges that the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not operating because the notification telegram could not be received, and value "0" indicating that the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not operating is input to the AliveStatus 502.
[0064]
In reality, however, even in a case where a failure has not occurred in the automatic transaction apparatus 2, but some abnormality has occurred in the network between the automatic transaction apparatus 2 and the monitoring apparatus 1 but it is remedied immediately. In such case, a state that it is judged that the automatic transaction apparatus is not operating might be continued. Therefore, though the problem was solved, it is continuously judged that the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not operating. As a result, a maintenance person might be dispatched unnecessarily.
[0065]
Therefore, it is determined in this modified embodiment that in order to suppress the occurrence of the problem described above, a threshold to judge as a reception error is changed. Specifically, it is configured that if notification telegrams transmitted a at a prescribed time intervals are not received for plural number of times, it is judged that the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not operating, "1" indicating a notification error is input to the NotificationStatus 503, and "0" indicating that the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not operating is input to the AliveStatus 502.
[0066]
With the above structure, when the automatic transaction apparatus 2 transmits notification telegrams at intervals of ten minutes for example, if first or second telegrams are not received, the monitoring apparatus 1 of the embodiment 1 judges as reception error and the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is not operating. But, the monitoring apparatus 1 of this modified embodiment judges that reception was success even if first and second telegrams were not received but a notification telegram (third) was received in the subsequent ten minutes, and it is judged that the automatic transaction apparatus 2 is also operating. [0067]
By configuring as described above, unnecessary dispatch of a maintenance person to the automatic transaction apparatus 2 which does not have a failure can be prevented, and the operation rate of the automatic transaction apparatus 2 can also be enhanced because an erroneous judgment is prevented.
[0068]
It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment but includes various types of modified embodiments. For example, the above- described embodiment describes the present invention in detail such that it is easy to understand, and it is not necessarily limited to a structure that is provided with all the components described above. And, part of the structure of a certain embodiment can be replaced by a structure of another embodiment, and it is also possible to add a structure of another embodiment to the structure of a certain embodiment. And, addition/deletion/substitution of another structure can be made for a part of the structure of each embodiment. And, the above-described each structure, function, processing unit, processing means and the like may be realized by hardware by designing a part or all of them by, for example, an integrated circuit. The above individual structures and functions may be realized by software by interpreting and executing programs for realizing the individual functions by the processor.
[0069]
Information such as a program, a table, a file and the like for realizing the individual functions can be placed on a recording device such as a memory, a hard disk or an SSD (Solid State Drive), or a recording medium such as an IC (Integrated Circuit) card, an SD card or a DVD. And a control line and an information line shown are those which are considered necessary for the description, and all the control lines and information lines necessary for products are not shown necessarily. In reality, it may be considered that almost all structures are connected to one another.
