L'invention permet ainsi de former un marchepied à l'aide de panneaux, la partie de panneau et la partie de prévention de chute du marchepied étant construites au moyen de panneaux faits d'un matériau à base de polyéthylène haute densité, ce qui permet de normaliser les tailles et la production en grande série, d'obtenir une fabrication pratique du fait du poids réduit, de présenter une performance constante et de réduire les coûts en matériaux du fait de l'aptitude au recyclage.
