Abstract
Description
[トウバンド製造装置]
図1は、実施形態に係るトウバンド製造装置1の全体構成を示す図である。図2は、紡糸筒11の紡糸口金12の構成を示す正面図である。
図3は、トウバンド製造装置1の捲縮機5の周辺構成を示す図である。図3に示すように、捲縮機5はスタフィングボックス型であって、一対のローラ5a、5bと、一対の板状部材5c、5dと、板状部材5cに取り付けられた付勢部材5eとを有する。捲縮機5は、図3中、合一されたヤーンY(フィラメントF)を紙面左側から右側に向かって搬送する。
一般に、フィラメントFのFDを大きくすると、トウバンドTB中におけるフィラメントF間の間隙が大きくなり、PDの抑制を期待できるが、フィラメントFの紡糸工程で、フィラメントFの乾燥不良が生じ易くなる。従って、フィラメントFのFDを増やすことには限界があった。一方、トウバンドTBのTDを小さくすると、トウバンドTBを用いてなるシガレットフィルターの単位体積当たりのフィラメントFの本数が減ることにより、PDの低減をある程度期待できる。しかしながら、このようなトウバンドTBは体積密度が小さいために、合一されたヤーンYに対して均一に捲縮を掛けにくいという問題があった。
図5は、フィルターロッド製造装置20の構成を示す図である。図5に示すように、フィルターロッド製造装置20は、第一開繊ジェット装置21と、第二開繊ジェット装置22と、プレテンションローラ23と、第一開繊ローラ24と、第二開繊ローラ25と、第三開繊ジェット装置26と、スプレーブース27と、送りローラ28と、搬送ジェット装置29と、ファンネル30と、筒体32と、回転ブレード33とを備える。
図6は、シガレット40の構成を示す図である。図6では、巻取紙43を一部展開し、シガレット40の内部構成を示した状態を示す。図6に示す本実施形態のシガレット40は、細巻タイプであり、シガレットロッド41と、フィルター42と、巻取紙43とを備える。シガレットロッド41は、円柱状に充填されたシガレット充填材41aと、シガレット充填材41aの外周に巻回された巻紙41bとを有する。フィルター42は、フィルターロッドFRを所定の長さに切断してなる円柱状のシガレットフィルター42aと、シガレットフィルター42aの外周に巻回されたチップペーパー42bとを有する。シガレットフィルター42aとチップペーパー42bとは、シガレットロッド41と同軸上に揃えて配される。巻取紙43は、シガレットロッド41の外周の一部と、フィルター42の外周とにわたって巻回され、シガレットロッド41とフィルター42とを固定する。
以下、本発明の性能を確認するために作製した各実施例と、これを用いて実施した性能測定試験について述べる。
捲縮機5において、一対の板状部材5c、5dの間の間隙G1を6mmに固定した状態で、板状部材5cの傾斜角度θを変化させた場合において、トウバンドTBの捲縮数のCv値(%)がどのように変化するかを調べた。
ベール状のトウバンドTBの任意の部分から、検査部分として、250mmの測定片をトウバンドTBの長さ方向にランダムに12点採取した。この各測定片の捲縮数を、長さ25mm毎に、JIS L 1015(化学繊維ステープル試験方法)に規定されている捲縮数測定方法に従って測定した。これにより、各々のサンプルにおいて、測定して得られた合計120カ所の捲縮数の測定結果に基づき、下記の式に従い、捲縮数のCv値を算出した。
上記各測定結果を表1及び2に示す。
次に、フィルターロッドのサンプルを以下の製造方法で製造した。まず、平均酢化度55%のセルロースジアセテートをアセトンに溶解し、濃度約25質量%の紡糸原液を調整した。この紡糸原液を温度40度以上50度以下の温度に調整して紡糸口金12に供給した。紡糸口金12の紡糸孔10は、直径7.0μm以上9.0μm以下の三角形状とした。紡糸原液を紡糸口金12より紡糸筒11内に吐出し、アセトンを蒸発させることにより、FDが6.0でY字形状の断面に設定されたフィラメントFを紡糸した。紡糸筒11より吐出されたヤーンYにオイルエマルジョンを付着させ、これをゴデットローラ15で巻き取った。このヤーンYを合一し、捲縮機5を用いて捲縮することにより、TDが17000の複数のトウバンドTBを作製した。捲縮機5において、間隙G1を2mmに固定した状態で、傾斜角度θを-1°、0°、1°のいずれかに設定して、前記各トウバンドTBに捲縮を付与した。このときの捲縮数は、30個/25mmに設定した。捲縮後の各トウバンドTBを巻上加工して、フィルターロッド製造装置20を用いることにより、詰め込み量が0.32g/rod、長さが120mm、円周が16,7mmのフィルターロッドの各サンプルを作製した。

Claims (11)
- セルロースアセテート繊維からなる複数本のフィラメントを束状に合一しかつ捲縮してなるトウバンドであって、
フィラメントデニールが、6.0以上11.0以下であり、かつ、トータルデニールが、5000以上15000以下であり、
捲縮数のCv値が、4%以下である、シガレットフィルター用のトウバンド。 - 捲縮数が、25mm当たり25山以上35山以下である、請求項1に記載のシガレットフィルター用のトウバンド。
- 前記フィラメントデニールが、6.0以上8.0以下である、請求項1または2に記載のシガレットフィルター用のトウバンド。
- 前記トータルデニールが、7000以上15000以下である、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のシガレットフィルター用のトウバンド。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のシガレットフィルター用のトウバンドから製造されてなる、円周長が14mm以上17mm以下のシガレットフィルター。
- 複数本のフィラメントが束状に合一されたヤーンを捲縮して搬送する捲縮機を備え、
前記捲縮機は、互いの周面を対向させて軸支された一対のローラと、前記一対のローラよりも前記ヤーンの搬送方向下流側に配され、各一方の板面が対向するように間隙をおいて配置された一対の板状部材と、前記間隙内に配され、前記ヤーンを前記一対の板状部材のいずれかの前記板面に向かって押圧するように付勢する付勢部材と、を有し、
前記一対の板状部材における一方の板状部材のうち、少なくとも前記一対のローラと近接する部分が、前記ヤーンの搬送方向下流側に向かって、前記間隙が漸増するように配されている、トウバンド製造装置。 - 前記一方の板状部材は、前記ヤーンの搬送方向に向かって、前記搬送方向に対して0°より大きく4°より小さい傾斜角度で傾斜勾配をなすように配されている、請求項6に記載のトウバンド製造装置。
- 前記一対のローラと近接する前記部分における前記一対の板状部材の最小間隙が、2mm以上7mm以下である、請求項6または7に記載のトウバンド製造装置。
- 前記一対のローラの間隙が、2mm以上5mm以下である、請求項6乃至8のいずれか1項に記載のトウバンド製造装置。
- 複数の紡糸孔のそれぞれより紡糸原液を吐出して複数本のフィラメントを紡糸するフィラメント紡糸工程と、
前記複数本のフィラメントからなるヤーンを合一しかつ捲縮してトウバンドを形成するトウバンド形成工程と、を有し、
前記フィラメント紡糸工程では、フィラメントデニールが、6.0以上11.0以下の前記フィラメントを紡糸し、
前記トウバンド形成工程では、TDが、5000以上15000以下であり、かつ、捲縮数のCv値が、4%以下のトウバンドを形成する、トウバンドの製造方法。 - 前記トウバンド形成工程では、捲縮数を、25mm当たり30山以上35山以下とする、請求項10に記載のトウバンドの製造方法。
