【課題】マーチング用ドラムの行進時に視界を確保したマーチング用前方及び足下可視ド　ラム 【解決手段】 【効果】ドラムの胴体の全部、又は一部の部材をなくすか透明な部材を採用することによ　りマーチングに於ける奏者の視界を確保したマーチング用前方及び足下可視ド　ラム

Description

マーチング用前方及び足下可視ドラム
 この発明は、マーチング用ドラムに関し奏者の視界を確保し、行進しやすくしたドラムに関する。
  マーチング用のドラムは音楽構成上１８“から４０”までのサイズが必要とされ、それ
　らドラムを男女の区別無く図１のように体の前面に吊り下げ行進しながら演奏に使用　
　する。
　奏者０が行進する際、奏者０の視界はドラムによって遮られ図１の１が死角となる。従
　って、奏者０は自らの足下や進行方向を確認することができないため演奏しながら行進
　する行為は非常に危険であった。又、時として移動の為の介添人も必要となっている。
課題を解決しようとする手段
　１、本発明は、以上のような問題を解決する為にドラムに以下のような改良を加えた。
　　　ドラム１００の胴体の一部に図１２のように穴５、６、７をあけ足下、前方が見え
　　　るようにした。
　２、穴を開けた箇所に図１３の１１或は、図１４の１２の透明の部材を張り付けること
　　　により穴をあけたことによりドラムの音響性能を低下させないようにした。
　３、図１５のドラム３００の胴の一部の部材に図７及び図７、８の８、９、１０のよう
　　　に透明の部材を使うことにより前方及び足下の視界を確保した。
　４、図１７のドラム５００の胴２の中央部の円周にそって図１８の透明部材２０を採用
　　　し、前方及び足下の視界１を確保できるような構造にした。
　５、図１９のドラム６００の左右の打面部材１８、１９をドラムの打面の革を固定する
　　　為の金具（ラグ）２２によって支持することにより、胴２の中央部分の部材がない
　　　部分２１を確保し、前方及び足下の視界１を確保できるような構造にした。打面パ
　　　ーツ１８と１９は透明部材であればより視界を確保できる。
　本発明によれば、以下のような効果がある。
　１、奏者の前方や足下が見えるようにしたため奏者が安全に演奏しながら行進できる。
　２、移動の際に介添人が必要となくなる。

　以下、本発明を図の具体例を用いて詳細に説明する。
　図１は、一般的なドラム１００を奏者０の前面に吊り下げた図である。このような形態
　でドラム１００を演奏しながら行進する際は、図２のように奏者０の顔の前にドラム１　　
　００の胴体２が立ちはだかる為、図１の１が奏者０にとって死角となる。このため奏者　
　０は一般的に行進の際は回りの状況のみで前方や足下の視界を予想し行進しなければ
　ならなく奏者０にとっては非常に演奏しづらく、且つ、危険な状況となる。
　又、演奏の前後であってもドラム１００を装着して移動する場合は、通常介添人を必要　
　とする。本発明は、これらの死角を無くし奏者の視界を確保し、安全に奏者０が演奏し　
　ながら行進でき、移動に際して介添人の必要性をなくすことを目的としている。
　視界を確保する方法には以下の３つの方法が考えられる。
　１、図９のドラム４００のようにドラムの胴体の材料に透明な部材を採用する。
　２、図６のドラム２００のように奏者０の視界を遮る部分のドラム胴２の一部に穴５、
　　６、７をあけてそのまま使用するか、開口部に透明な部材１１、或は１２を取付け
　　る。
　３、図７のドラム３００や図１０の５００のように奏者０の視界を遮る部分のドラム
　　　の胴２の一部に透明な部材１３、２０を採用する。
　４、図１９のドラム６００のように奏者０の視界を遮る胴２の中央部分の円周にそっ
　　　て部材を使わず図１９のドラム６００のように隙間２１を採用した構造にする。
　方法１に関しては、図９のドラム４００のようにアクリル材のような部材を使用すれば
　解決するが、前述のようにドラムのサイズは１８“から４０”までのサイズが要求され
　るためドラム１００のサイズが大きくなる場合、アクリル材は一般的にドラムの胴２に
　使用される部材である木材に比して非常に重くなるため、視界の確保ができても男女
　を問わず使用されるドラム１００は重すぎて持ち運びができなくなると言う問題も
　る。
　方法２は、図３のドラム２００の胴２に対して奏者側の開口部５と反対側の開口部７を
　もうけることにより奏者０の前方視野図３の３を確保する。又、同様にドラム胴２に開
　口部６をもうけることにより足下の視野４を確保することができる。
このような加工をすると音響的な問題が生じる。図１の一般的なドラム１００の場合、
奏者０がビーター１６でドラムの打面の革１４を叩いた場合、ドラム１００の中に入っ
ている空気の逃げ場が無いため反対側の革１５を外へ押し出し、押し出されたドラムの
革１５は復元力により元に戻ろうとして打面の１４の革を押し出し、この反復作用によ
ってドラムは大きな音を発し音量は徐々に減衰してゆく。
　しかるに、本発明のドラムは、図３のドラム２００の胴に５、６、７の穴が空いてい
　る。このまま演奏に使用しドラムを叩いた場合、これら３つの穴からドラム２００の
　内部の空気は吹き出してしまうためドラムの音量が下がり音色も劣化してしまう為、
　空いた穴５、６、７を透明の部材１１、或は１２で塞ぐことにより音質の変化や劣化　　
　を防ぐことができる。尚、透明部材の形状は丸や四角に限定するものでなくあらゆる　
　形状が考えられることは言うまでもない。
　　方法３は、図１５のドラム３００の胴２に対して四角形の透明部材１０と８を使用す
　　ることにより奏者０の前方視界を確保する。又、同様にドラム胴２に四角形の透明部
　　材９を使用することにより足下の視野を確保することができる。
　ドラム３００を製作するには透明の部材１３を開口部８、９、１０の位置に配置し、
　 胴２を製作する。強度を確保し円形を維持する為に、場合によっては図１５の補強材
  １７等を使ってドラム３００を作製する。
 
 方法４は、図１７のドラム５００の胴の中央部分の透明部材２０をドラム５００の左
　　右の打面パーツ１８、１９で挟み、ドラムの打面の革を固定する為の金具（ラグ）２
　　２によって固定するようにしてドラムを構成し、前方及び足下の視界１を確保できる
　　ようにする。
　方法５は、ドラム６００の胴の中央部分の透明部材２０を使わず、胴２に隙間部分２
　１を確保し、打面パーツ１８、１９をドラムの打面の革を固定する為の金具（ラ
　グ）２２によってドラム６００を構成し、前方及び足下の視界１を確保できるように
　する。
