Abstract

본 발명은 항균 펩타이드에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 비단멍게(halocynthia aurantium) 체액 세포로부터 분리한 항균 펩타이드인 할로시딘(halocodin)의 일부 아미노산을 변형시켜 단백질 분해 효소에 대한 저항성과 혈청내에서의 활성을 대폭적으로 개선시킨 변이체 항균 펩타이드 및 상기 항균 펩타이드를 유효성분으로 함유하는 항균제에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 항균 펩타이드는 그람 양성 및 그람 음성세균, 특히 항생제 내성균에 대한 저항성이 뛰어날 뿐만 아니라, 진균에 대해서도 강력한 항진균 활성을 지니고 있으며, 항균 펩타이드 실용화에 큰 걸림돌인 단백질 분해효소에 의한 가수분해와 혈청 단백질들과의 비특이적인 결합에 기인한 항균활성의 소실의 문제점을 극복한 항균 펩타이드로서 새로운 펩타이드 항생제로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
