Abstract

L'invention porte sur un carrousel (1) pour traiter des récipients, lequel carrousel comprend une structure de base (2) qui peut tourner autour de l'axe de rotation (100) du carrousel (1), et qui porte une pluralité d'éléments de support (3) qui sont mutuellement espacés les uns des autres de façon angulaire, et qui sont conçus pour porter un récipient respectif (10) à traiter, la structure de base (2) étant associée à au moins un dispositif (4) pour détecter l'orientation des récipients (10) portés par les éléments de support (3), le dispositif de détection (4) comprenant au moins un capteur (5) qui peut se déplacer autour de l'axe de rotation (100) du carrousel (1) entre une position angulaire initiale et une position angulaire finale, et inversement, pendant un déplacement à partir de la position angulaire initiale jusqu'à la position angulaire finale du capteur ou des capteurs (5) qui sont associés de façon fonctionnelle à un récipient (10), qui peut se déplacer autour de l'axe de rotation (100) du carrousel (1) et autour de son propre axe longitudinal, qui est parallèle à l'axe de rotation (100), de façon à détecter un élément du récipient (10) ; et lequel carrousel (1) comprend des moyens de liaison cinématiques (20) disposés entre la structure de base (2) et le capteur ou les capteurs (5), ces derniers étant aptes à coupler d'un seul tenant en rotation le capteur ou les capteurs (5) et la structure de base (2) pendant le déplacement du capteur ou des capteurs (5) entre la position angulaire initiale et la position angulaire finale, les moyens de liaison cinématiques (20) étant associés à des moyens formant moteur (30) aptes à renvoyer, sur commande, le capteur ou les capteurs (5) à partir de la position angulaire finale jusqu'à la position angulaire initiale à l'aide d'un déplacement angulaire (202) du capteur ou des capteurs (5) dans la direction opposée par rapport à la rotation (200) de la structure de base (2) autour de l'axe de rotation (100) du carrousel (1).
