  • the first extraction screen section (6) may be arranged above said second screen section at a distance corresponding to a retention time of between 0 - 30 minutes, preferably of between 0, 1 - 20 minutes and even more preferably of between 5 - 15 minutes.

Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de cuisson continue d'un matériau fibreux de cellulose dans un lessiveur, ledit lessiveur présentant une partie supérieure et une partie inférieure. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes consistant à : acheminer une pâte liquide comprenant un matériau fibreux cellulosique et une liqueur de cuisson dans la partie supérieure du lessiveur ; acheminer une première liqueur de lavage vers la partie inférieure du lessiveur, ladite première liqueur de lavage se déplaçant à contre-courant à travers au moins une partie du lessiveur ; extraire la pâte du fond du lessiveur ; acheminer une deuxième liqueur de lavage vers le centre du lessiveur au moins au niveau d'une première section de tamisage ; acheminer une troisième liqueur de lavage vers le centre du lessiveur au niveau d'une seconde section de tamisage ; et extraire la liqueur de cuisson et les liqueurs de lavage de la première section de tamisage et de la deuxième section de tamisage, ladite première section de tamisage étant disposée dans une partie inférieure du lessiveur et ladite seconde section de tamisage étant disposée en dessous de ladite première section de tamisage. Ainsi, selon l'invention, une troisième liqueur de lavage est ajoutée au centre de lessiveur au niveau d'une seconde section de tamisage d'extraction supplémentaire agencée dans la partie inférieure du digesteur. Le procédé selon l'invention permet d'augmenter le taux de production dans le lessiveur tout en maintenant ou même en augmentant l'efficacité du lessivage.
