まず、図1を用いて、実施の形態1に係る推薦画像表示システムの概要について説明する。図1は、実施の形態1に係る推薦画像表示システムの概要を示すブロック図である。
次に、推薦画像表示システム100の構成について説明する。図3は、推薦画像表示システムの構成を示すブロック図である。
次に、オススメリスト生成部14のオススメリストの生成方法とオススメ度の決定方法について図4および図5を用いて説明する。図4は、オススメリストの生成方法を示す図である。図5は、オススメ度の決定方法を示す図である。なお、図4は、受信端末20aのユーザであるユーザAに対するオススメリストを生成する例を示す図である。
次に、受信端末20aにおける推薦画像の生成方法について図7を用いて説明する。図7は、推薦画像の生成方法のフローチャートである。
なお、推薦画像生成部26が生成する推薦画像の態様は、上記のような態様に限定されるものではない。推薦画像においては、オススメ度の高いコンテンツがオススメ度の低いコンテンツよりもユーザに選択されやすい態様で表示されればよい。
推薦画像表示システム100では、オススメリスト生成部14は、視聴済みコンテンツの割合に基づき視聴履歴ごとにオススメ度を決定したが、オススメリスト生成部14は、別の方法でオススメ度を決定してもよい。図12は、変形例1に係る推薦画像表示システムの構成を示すブロック図である。なお、以下の説明では、推薦画像表示システム100との相違点(特に、サーバ10a)を中心に説明する。
推薦画像表示システム100および推薦画像表示システム100aでは、受信端末20aは、表示部25を備えるものとして説明したが、表示部は、受信端末20aとは別体として構成されてもよい。図14は、表示部が受信端末20aと別体として設けられる推薦画像表示システム100bの構成を示すブロック図である。なお、以下の説明では、推薦画像表示システム100との相違点(特に、受信端末20d)を中心に説明する。
以上のように、本出願において開示する技術の例示として、実施の形態1を説明した。しかしながら、本開示における技術は、これに限定されず、適宜、変更、置き換え、付加、省略などを行った実施の形態にも適用可能である。また、上記実施の形態1で説明した各構成要素を組み合わせて、新たな実施の形態とすることも可能である。

- 複数の端末のそれぞれから取得されるコンテンツの視聴履歴に基づいて定められるコンテンツの推薦度を含む、コンテンツを表示するための情報であるコンテンツ関連情報を送信するサーバと、
前記サーバによって送信された前記コンテンツ関連情報を受信する受信部と、
受信された前記コンテンツ関連情報に基づいて、ユーザがコンテンツを選択するための複数のアイコンが表示される推薦画像を生成する生成部と、
前記推薦画像を表示する表示部とを備え、
前記複数のアイコンには、第一のアイコンと、前記第一のアイコンが示すコンテンツよりも前記推薦度が高いコンテンツを示す第二のアイコンとが含まれ、
前記生成部は、前記第二のアイコンが、前記第一のアイコンよりも前記ユーザに選択されやすい態様で表示される前記推薦画像を生成する

前記取得されるコンテンツの視聴履歴に含まれるコンテンツのうち、前記受信端末の視聴履歴に含まれるコンテンツを視聴済みコンテンツとし、前記視聴済みコンテンツ以外のコンテンツを未視聴コンテンツとした場合に、前記視聴済みコンテンツを含む割合が高い視聴履歴に属する前記未視聴コンテンツほど、高い前記推薦度を付与する

生成された前記推薦画像を出力する出力部とを備え、
前記複数のアイコンには、第一のアイコンと、前記第一のアイコンが示すコンテンツよりも前記推薦度が高いコンテンツを示す第二のアイコンとが含まれ、
