- the fuel supply system for internal combustion engines is equipped with a fuel type switch placed at least before one of the pumps supplying fuel to the high pressure pump, behind which a valve receiving the impulses from a fuel pressure sensor and a fuel temperature sensor is placed.
- the valve is mounted on a return line connecting the high pressure pump with a connecting pipe supplying fuel to a damping nozzle initiated by the valve.
- the system solves the problem of supplying fuel with the pressure occurring inside the LPG tank , which is noticeably lower than applied so far and hence makes it possible to use one system to supply an engine with selected type of fuel ( LPG, petrol/ Diesel oil).

- Sensor number 8 measures the fuel pressure inside the return line while sensor number 9 measures the fuel temperature there. When there is LPG fuel inside the supply system, the pressure value and the temperature are proper. The parameters are different in case of petrol/Diesel oil.
- valve number 7 By selecting a proper damping nozzle (6) and controlling the capacity of pump number 2, we achieve the demanded pressure and flow rate.
- the return line is connected by means of connector pipe (5) supplying the fuel to the damping nozzle (6), activated by valve number 7.
- valve number 7 opens the flow that circumvents the damping nozzle (6).
- LPG fuel inside the system is emptied in no time.
- sensors number 8 and 9 read it and transfer the information to valve number 4 which closes the return line and cuts off the fuel return to LPG tank.
