The track system
The track system driven by a conventional full-wheels is for any wheeled vehicle.
The invention relates to the field of transport engineering. In the category: Chassis has installed independently or movable vehicle. To improve the permeability, to increase the contact area with the road surface. The device is aimed at improving the manufacturability and maintainability of the device, for the significant reduction in weight.
Well-known removable unit tracked vehicle has (two versions) RU 2309080 issued from 27.10.2007 IPC B62D55 / 084.
The invention relates to devices that increase permeability of the vehicle. The removable tracked unit is mounted on the hub of the wheel fixing the vehicle and contains a caterpillar covering attached to the frame track rollers, idlers and / or support the wheel, at least one placed on the shaft of the gear or lantern drive wheel and coupling element removable unit tracked vehicle suspension means. In the first embodiment where the vertical components of compensation for the moments of the caterpillars that affect bearings wheel of the vehicle, due to the suspension element is set in the pre-stressed state and is interconnected with the shaft of a gear or pinwheel from its end opposite to the wheel hub. In the second embodiment, to compensate for the vertical components of the moments of the caterpillars that affect bearings wheel element due to suspension or rotary device driven wheel mounted in a pre-stressed state and is interconnected with the shaft of a gear or pinwheel from its end opposite to the wheel hub. To compensate for the horizontal and angular components of the moments acting on the bearings wheel, removable tracked unit has an additional element of communication, interaction with the suspension of the vehicle wheel or rotary device and the shaft gear or lantern removable crawler drive wheel unit from its end opposite the wheel hub. We had achieved by increasing the permeability of the vehicle and the ability to install on the vehicle with the dependent and independent suspension instead of managed or unmanaged wheels without modifying the vehicle structure. The disadvantages of this analogy are the removable unit tracked vehicle installed after dismantling the regular wheels and attached to the hub. Installation of this type of propulsion is recommended in the repair shop or boxing.
Propulsion for the vehicle is RU 2324617 issued from 20.05.2008.
The propulsion for the vehicle comprises a hub mounted on the drive gears and meshed close with an elastic band grouser, the frame on which the levers are installed with the help of supporting wheels and is located inside a pneumatic support member. The pneumatic support member is in the form of additional air wheels with lateral wheels which mounted on symmetrical supports and connected to the frame by means of identical flexible elastic elements. The main support wheels are equidistant from the air wheels of equal size and are mounted on the support arm on either side of the frame and connected with her flexible elastic elements and have depreciation travel stops. At the front support arm by means of a
flexible elastic element that is associated with a frame was found as a tightener pulley and tension wheel fork mounted on the same axis. It becomes possible to increase the reliability and patency of the vehicle.
The disadvantages of this analogue are also that the block mover caterpillar type installed after dismantling the regular wheels and attached to the hub. Installation this type of propulsion is recommended in the repair shop or boxing.
The track system US 20130221738 issued from 12.04.2013 IPC B62D55 / 084 is the closest in nature to the claimed invention , which is the prototype of the proposed device, where the drive is manning the wheel. The device comprises two metal transmission drive gear, two rubber-coated metal complex configuration idlers or rollers, recruited from eight rollers idlers, two side panels and rubberized metal tracks which enclosed in a single housing. This system is easy to install on regular tires. The mechanical circumferential force when rotating metal is transferred to the transmission drive gear (asterisk), and then the gears (sprockets) transmit the force and drive the rubber-coated metal caterpillar.
The disadvantage of this system is a big butt-frictional force to ensure the impact of metal transmission drive gears (asterisks) on the tread of the wheel, and increased tire wear due to the small area of contact and engagement. Also significant weight of each of the attachment is 145 kg, the total weight of all four devices on the vehicle reaches about 580 kg.
The object of the proposed technical solution is the creation of device design track system, which allows to increase the contact area and the transmission of the drive member engagement with the standard wheel, as an increase in these parameters for the transmission of the drive member with a caterpillar, by using gearing, simplification of form and relief whole devices.
The proposed utility model eliminates all of the above disadvantages of such devices and systems. The inventive that staffing wheel transmits rotating force by elements with a flexible toothed wide belt with a special coating on the outer rubberized caterpillar reinforced metal cord fully aided by a large area of contact. The track system with a flexible drive element makes it possible to distribute a large mechanical force from the regular wheels across the contact area. Also the approximate uniformity of materials and toothed belt drive with a special outer coating increases the friction parameters of the elements compared with the nearest prototype. The flexible drive member is entering the gearing with rubber caterpillar with ½ of the area of the most complete effort of rotation passes. Changing the configuration of tension and support rollers (the rollers' prototype has scored their rollers) in simple, cylindrical, rubber, greatly facilitates the weight of the entire whole device.
FIG. 1 - shows a perspective view of undercarriage (mounted on the nominal wheel) side view
FIG. 2 - view of toothed gear wide belt with a special outer coating and rubber tracks. Isometric view.
Wheel staffing (1) vehicle (Fig. 1) is based on a wide toothed belt with a special outer coating, reinforced cord (cord may also be tissue, polymer). The timing is also supported and is included in the gear teeth with rubber cord and has a similar kind of teeth with metal tracks. The track system comprises a drive mechanism which consists of a toothed belt with a special wide outer coating (2) reinforced ply, the two upper tension rollers (3) and two lower tension roller (4) and two lateral locking arms (5). Also consists of rubber reinforced metal cord caterpillars (6), two tensioning rollers (7) and eight supporting rollers (8), as the two side straps whole (9). All of this is in the single box (10).
Installation of the track system is made without dismantling the regular wheels. Installation is very simple, to run over the wheel on the device, available in a variety of conditions. After hitting the regular wheels (1 ) timing belt wide (2) with a special outer coating flexes under pressure and covers ¼ of the circumference of the wheel full-time, web gear belt tight against the teeth to the tread of the tire in the upper plane. And a lower portion of the toothed belt with special wide outer covering power cord through
tensioning rollers (3), (4) adjacent to the upper surface of rubber with metallic cords caterpillars (5). Under sufficient pressure of a vertical toothed belt teeth and tooth rubber tracks are engaged (fig. 2) due the same shapes. For additional tension of a gear belt of a wide power cord, also offer the adjustment slots of the upper rollers. The tension rubber tracks by means of the adjustment slots in the plates block the main rollers. Staffing wheel is a natural additional tensioning device.
The device operates as follows. Before operating the system we perform the installation. The vehicle runs over a wheel on the device under the weight of the wheel gear a wide belt with a special outer coating which reinforced on ¼ of the cord tightly encloses the circle. When you rotate the wheel full-timing belt starts moving and are going into the teeth of a caterpillar where transmits the force of directional movement. Staffing wheel during rotation drives the belt toothed belt. Next timing belt meshed at the bottom of the teeth of rubber tracks then sends it effort on the motion. The best power transfer are possible chevron or herringbone teeth engagement that can transmit a lot of effort on the speed (straight teeth are not excluded). In this way by Chevron or Christmas-tree engagement we solve the problem of axial force. The axial forces of the tire tread are mutually compensated with the timing belt and rubber tracks. Rubber-coated rollers are made simplified and mounted on plain bearings with short cylindrical rollers.
We achieve all mechanical removal of particles from the center of the edges of the entire belt-track system to the groove between the teeth made of chevron or herringbone type gear on the canvases of a wide belt with a special outer coating and rubber cord with metal tracks for outdoor performance. The motion direction of sustainable and efficient removal of mechanical impurities and moisture when the caterpillar is in contact with the ground, with the type of tooth herringbone or chevron performance receives. Scope of use is in the difficult driving conditions, snow, mud, sand, ice. Also at different times of the year.
