Abstract

La présente invention concerne un élément optique qui produit une transmittance intra-pupille élevée et une haute résolution, la dégradation de la performance d'ombrage étant minimale même lorsqu'il est monté séparément d'une unité de lentille. Ledit élément optique comprend les éléments suivants : une zone centrale, centrée sur l'axe optique, dans laquelle la transmittance relative par rapport à l'emplacement de la transmittance maximum est égale ou supérieure à 95 % ; une zone intermédiaire, formée autour de la zone centrale, dans laquelle la transmittance diminue en direction de l'extérieur ; et une zone périphérique, formée autour de la zone intermédiaire, dans laquelle la transmittance est inférieure ou égale à 0,5 %. Sachant que ϕ1 représente le diamètre de la zone centrale, sachant que ϕ2 représente le diamètre de la limite entre la zone intermédiaire et la zone périphérique et sachant que ϕa représente le diamètre d'ouverture du système optique, la zone centrale, la zone intermédiaire et la zone périphérique sont formées pour satisfaire la relation 1,1 ≤ ϕ2/ϕa ≤ 2,1 et au moins l'une des relations 0,1 ≤ ϕ1/ϕa ≤ 1,1 et 0,0 ≤ ϕ1/ϕ2 ≤ 0,95.
