Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de monoéther, monoacétate ou carbonate de glycol au moyen d'une voie parmi deux, à partir d'alkylène glycols, de HMF ou de ses produits dérivés de réduction (c'est-à-dire FDM, bHMTHF). En particulier, selon l'une des voies, l'alkylène glycol, le HMF ou le FDM, les bHMTHF sont mis à réagir avec un carbonate de dialkyle en présence d'un agent de déprotonation, en l'absence substantielle d'un catalyseur extrinsèque, afin de produire un éther, puis l'éther est mis à réagir avec un acide, une base. Selon l'autre voie, des alkylène glycols sont mis à réagir avec un donneur acétate en présence d'un acide, d'une base, afin de générer un monoacétate d'alkylène, et convertis en éther avec un carbonate, en présence d'un agent de déprotonation.
