- the clamping element Due to the design of the clamping element with several, individually movable clamping arms, a fixation of cables with non-round cross- cut possible. In contrast to known solutions with a round seal which applies force uniformly over the entire circumference of the cable, the clamping arms act individually on a cable. The shape of the cable is irrelevant. Even cables that do not have the same outer diameter at every point can be fixed mechanically.
- the individual clamping arms of the clamping element are arranged on a base.
- the base is expediently designed for the cable gland around, the clamping arms are arranged in a circle.
- the base also serves as a stop for an electrical cable to be connected. Only the individual wires of the cable should be routed through the base. For this purpose, bores are provided in the base area through which one core of the cable can be inserted in each case.
- the holes are each assigned to a conductor channel of the guide element, wherein in each case a bore and a conductor channel are aligned. Guiding a vein through the base and the guide element is thus made possible.

- the sealing element is arranged between the guide element and clamping element.
- the shape of the sealing element is essentially a circle that corresponds to the circumference of the receptacle of the main body and the base of the clamping element. As a result, the sealing element can be pressed between the clamping element and the receptacle and thus prevent the penetration of environmental influences into the connector.
- holes are also provided in the sealing element. However, the holes in the sealing element are dimensioned smaller than the holes of the base and the conductor channels. This ensures that a wire of a cable to be connected can be easily guided through the hole in the base of the clamping element, as well as through the conductor channels in the guide element.
- the sealing element should be located at the holes tightly around the wires of the cable to be connected to prevent the ingress of environmental influences.
