A contact joint between each wall and a ground surface is covered by a sheet. Nevertheless the paper solves neither the problem of a contact joint between two adjacent wall nor design of individual wall units which for a transferable barrier have to be rigid but not excessively heavy. Only a support construction is described in an utility design AT 006490 U1. The said support is covered by sand bags to face coming water. Just the application of sand bags is a complicated matter and requires lot to time to complete a barrier at desired place.

  • a wall piece of each of the barrier units comprise a board made of a composite material and is provided with reinforcing frame made of a composite material as an integrated element connected with the board by means of a bonding agent and a continuous layer of a top coat covering the frame as well as the respective surface of the board.

  • the transferable multipurpose barrier according the present invention is designed for capturing and diversion of a water flow or to hold a slipping earth or rock stones. Due to the design, the barrier wall is easy to manufacture, manipulation with each part of the barrier is comfortable and assembly of the barrier requires no exceptional effort. The manipulation is facilitated by the fact the wall pieces comprise no metal reinforcement or parts which would increase its weight.
  • the discussed barrier construction can be installed even under terrain conditions where heavy construction machinery is not applicable, as is the case in terrain with difficult accessibility or terrain soaked with water after long-lasting rain period. An installation of the barrier according the invention is limited neither by a character of the site nor by the barrier required length.

  • the frame 6 is an integrated single-piece part also made of a composite material and by means of a resinous adhesive is bonded to the board 5 back surface.
  • the said board 5 surface inclusive the frame 6 is covered by a continuous resin layer.
  • the reinforcement frame 6 has substantially a trapezoidal cross-section and is attached to the board 5 back surface by its longer base.
  • the trapezoidal cross-section longer base is divided into two parts, each of them being bended outwards by 180°. Both bended parts provide for surfaces contacting the board 5.

  • the wall piece 1 designed for vertically arranged supports with an U-shaped or an H-shaped cross-section has a reinforcement frame 6 of a cross-section in a form of a trapezoid with rounded edges, but as seen from the frame 6 cross-section, presented on Fig. 5, only one part of the longer trapezoidal base is bended outwards by 180°. This bended part of the frame 6 faces inside the board 5 back surface, while the opposite frame 6 edges coincide with edges of the wall piece 1.
  • the applied composite material comprises reinforcement, a matrix and a protective top coat.
  • the reinforcement is made of a glass-fibre mat, glass-fibre fabric and/or polypropylene or aluminium honey-comb structure and may comprise also aramid or carbon fibres or their combination.
  • the matrix material depends on required mechanical properties of the wall piece and preferably it comprises polyester resin, or as the case may be even vinyl-ester or epoxy resins.
  • the wall piece 1 for the multipurpose barrier By manufacturing the wall piece 1 for the multipurpose barrier according the invention at first there is created a flat board 5 consisting of reinforcement layers and resin matrix and the composition is let to harden at an ambient temperature.
  • a one-piece frame made also of laminated resin bonded reinforcement material.
  • the frame 6 is resin bonded to the board 6 and the board 5 together with the frame 6 are covered by a resin topcoat and the unit is completed by a final hardening procedure.
  • the wall piece 1 is resistible against a wide temperature range, from -30 °C to +50 °C, chemicals and with respect to applied reinforcement resists high mechanical stress without being damaged.
  • the wall piece board is up to 3 m long and up to 2 m wide.
  • the wall piece 1 designed for barriers against water and for erection directly on the ground is provided with a longitudinal resilient flat packing 7 located at the wall piece bottom edge, as seen on Fig. 7.
  • the flat packing 7 may be of various designs, according the purpose of installed barrier.
  • the term bottom edge describes an edge of the board 5 which is to be in contact with a ground on the site.
  • the resilient flat packing 7 provides for sealing of the wall pieces 1 against the ground surface and eventually compensates the ground unevenness.
  • the wall pieces 1 arranged either side by side or completed with extension parts 18 above the wall pieces 1 are mutually interconnected by intermediate pieces 10, the design of which is presented on Figs 10, 11 , 12.
  • the intermediate piece 10 is inserted on adjacent edges of two spaced apart adjoining wall parts.
  • Each intermediate piece 10 comprise two elastic stripes 12,13 spaced apart by means of a distance insert 1 1 , the mutual distance of the elastic stripes 12,13 corresponding to a thickness of the wall piece 1 edge.
  • the distance insert 11 is made of a hollow profile having a rectangular cross-section.
  • the first stripe 12 on a future front side of the intermediate piece 10, i.e. on the outside of the insert 1 1 is made of an elastic material and from both sides is supported by metal bands 14,15.
  • Both the outside band 14 and the inside band 15 have their length and width shorter than respective dimensions of the elastic first stripe 12.
  • the second elastic stripe 13 located on the inside of the insert 1 1 is made of a metal sheet.
  • the outside band 14 and the second elastic stripe 13 are mutually interconnected by rivets 16.
  • the intermediate piece 10 may be provided with a handle 17 located at the intermediate piece 10 inside.
  • each of the wall pieces 1 is kept in a set position by at least one support 3.

  • the support 3 comprise in parallel and spaced apart arranged two bars 31 ,32 mutually connected by a cross girder 33.
  • a seat 34 to accommodate the wall piece frame 6 is positioned in a push fit at each one of the two bars 31 ,32.
  • the bars 31 ,32 are made of tubes and there is a seat 34 is attached to a sleeve 35 set at an upper free end each one of the two bars 31 ,32. By moving the sleeve 35 along the bar 31 ,32 the length of each bar 31 ,32 can be adjusted to actual need.
  • the sleeve 35 set position shall be fixed by means known as such, namely by a pin inserted into one of the holes in the sleeve 35 and the bar 31 as well.
  • the seat 34 may be attached at an end of a rod inserted into the bar 31 ,32. Position of the rod with respect to the bar may be fixed by the same as described above.
  • the wall piece frame 6 rests in the seat 34.
  • each bar 31 ,32 is provided with a tip 36.
  • the tips 36 prevent undesired movement of the barrier with respect to original position on the site.
  • the wall pieces 1 are arranged practically in a vertical position. If it not possible to fix the wall piece 1 at the building wall 40, as shown on Fig. 4, there is used a vertical support pole 41 with inclined strut 42, the support pole 41 being attached by screws to a base plate 44, as presented on Fig. 7.
  • the complete construction of the above described barrier can be installed both in open-air grounds and on solid base such as pavement, asphalt or concrete road, etc.
  • the same barrier design can be applied also for other purpose, like a protection against possible landslide.
  • the present invention is designed for construction of transferable, i.e. temporary built barriers for preventing undesired water flow or floods or even landslip.
  • the barrier can be installed in open-air grounds as well as in housing areas.

Abstract

Selon la présente invention, pour la construction de barrières construites transférables, c'est-à-dire temporaires pour empêcher un écoulement d'eau indésirable ou des inondations ou même un glissement de terrain, on conçoit une barrière polyvalente transférable, constituée d'unités démontables, chaque unité comportant une pièce de mur et au moins un support de mur, la pièce de mur (1) comprenant un panneau (5) constitué d'un matériau composite et comportant un cadre de renforcement (6) constitué également d'un matériau composite en tant qu'élément intégré relié au panneau au moyen d'un agent de liaison et une couche supérieure continue couvrant le cadre (6) ainsi que la surface respective du panneau (5).
