La bicyclette est pourvue d'un dispositif de mise en prise et de libération manuel, et d'un ensemble de puissance motrice (2), le dispositif de mise en prise et de libération manuel commandant automatiquement s'il faut réapprovisionner en énergie une batterie à volant d'inertie (3), en fonction de l'état de déplacement de la bicyclette ; et l'ensemble de puissance motrice reçoit la force d'entraînement d'une roue arrière (72) de bicyclette, et réapprovisionne en énergie la batterie à volant d'inertie.
