- FIG. 1 shows a schematic flow chart of a method 100 of controlling a terminal in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.
- the method 100 includes: S110. Obtain a capacitance result detected by a capacitance sensor of the terminal, where the capacitance sensor is located at an edge position of the terminal;
- S120 Determine, according to the result of the capacitor, a holding state of the terminal, where the holding state includes the terminal being held by the user or the terminal is not held by the user;
- the method of controlling a terminal may be performed by a terminal or by a control unit in the terminal.
- a terminal For convenience of description, the following is an example of a terminal.
- the capacitive sensor of the terminal is used to detect the capacitance result.
- the terminal judges whether there is a human body touching the sensor area through the capacitance detected by the capacitance sensor, thereby determining the holding state of the terminal.
- the capacitive sensor is located at the edge of the terminal to facilitate judging the holding state of the terminal.
- the capacitive sensors can be located on either side of the terminal.
- Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 for mobile phones and tablets below 7.7 inches, vertical screen operation is generally used, so the capacitive sensor can be located on the longer two sides; as shown in Fig. 4, for more than 8 inches
- the tablet is generally used for horizontal screen operation, so the capacitive sensor can be located on the shorter two sides.
- the capacitive sensor may also be located at other locations of the terminal, for example, on the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the terminal, or only on one side of the terminal, and the like.
- the holding state of the terminal includes that the terminal is held by the user or the terminal is not held by the user.
- the terminal determines the holding state of the terminal based on the capacitance result.
- the capacitance result corresponds to the terminal status. For example, if the capacitance value is zero or less than the predetermined threshold, the terminal is not held by the user; when the capacitance value reaches or exceeds the predetermined threshold, the terminal is held by the user.
- the terminal can illuminate the screen of the terminal and/or issue a reminder signal.
- the user is not required to operate the terminal and remind the user of a reminder event, such as a short message and/or a missed call, thereby improving the efficiency of the user using the terminal.
- the method for controlling the terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention determines the holding state of the terminal according to the capacitance result detected by the capacitive sensor, and illuminates the screen of the terminal according to the holding state and/or issues a reminding signal, thereby reducing the operation of the user and Effectively reminding the user to have a reminder event, thereby facilitating the user to use the terminal and improving the efficiency of the user using the terminal.
- the terminal can perform different operations according to different holding states or changes in the holding state, which are respectively described below.
- FIG. 5 is a schematic flowchart of a method of controlling a terminal according to another embodiment of the present invention.
- S130 may specifically be: S131. If the holding state is that the terminal is held by the user, the screen of the terminal is currently in the lighting state, and the terminal is currently in the working state, the lighting state of the screen of the terminal and the working state of the terminal are maintained.
- the terminal is in a working state, indicating that the terminal is being used by the user, that is, the terminal has the user's application running.
- the terminal continues to maintain the lighting state of the screen of the terminal and the working state of the terminal. For example, when a user views an e-book or browses a web page, the user maintains the lighting state of the screen of the terminal and the working state of the terminal regardless of whether the user operates the screen. This can avoid the situation that the user does not need to operate the screen to close the screen, and the user no longer needs to operate the screen frequently, which eliminates the user's fear that the screen will always be closed, thereby making it more convenient for the user to use the terminal.
- the holding state is that the terminal is not held by the user, the screen of the terminal is currently lit, and the idle time of the terminal reaches the set value, the screen of the terminal is closed.
- FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram of a method for controlling a terminal according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 6, the specific process of the method for controlling a terminal in this embodiment is as follows.
- the terminal is working.
- the terminal may be in a working state, specifically: the user is using an application on the terminal, such as an e-book, a web page, a game, and the like.
- Determining whether the terminal is held by the user also determines the holding state of the terminal. This step can be performed at a predetermined time interval or when the idle time of the terminal reaches the set value. For example, when the user does not operate the terminal for a period of time, the idle time of the terminal reaches the set value. At this time, the holding state of the terminal is determined according to the capacitance result detected by the capacitive sensor. If the capacitance value detected by the capacitive sensor exceeds a predetermined threshold, the terminal is determined. The holding state is that the terminal is held by the user, and S603 is executed. If the capacitance value detected by the capacitance sensor does not exceed the predetermined threshold, it is determined that the terminal is not held by the user, and S604 is performed.
- the working state of the terminal may be specifically: Keep the screen of the terminal lit and not lock the screen. Since the terminal is held by the user at this time, it indicates that the user is still using the terminal, thus maintaining the working state of the terminal.
- the embodiment of the present invention does not change the function of the power button of the terminal, that is, if the user manually turns off the screen by the power button, the screen is turned off and the screen is not automatically turned on.
- the method for controlling a terminal determines the holding state of the terminal according to the capacitance result detected by the capacitive sensor, and maintains the lighting state of the screen of the terminal and the working state of the terminal when the terminal is held by the user and is in the working state.
- the problem that the user automatically closes the screen when the user uses the terminal but does not operate the screen for a period of time can be avoided, and the user can easily read the e-book and watch the video, and the use behavior of the screen is not required, thereby improving the user experience.
- FIG. 7 is a schematic flowchart of a method of controlling a terminal according to still another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figure 7, method 700 includes:
- S120 Determine, according to the result of the capacitor, a holding state of the terminal, where the holding state includes the terminal being held by the user or the terminal is not held by the user.
- S140 Determine a displacement state of the terminal according to a displacement result detected by a motion sensor of the terminal, where the displacement state includes a displacement of the terminal or a displacement of the terminal.
- a motion sensor is used to detect the displacement of the terminal.
- the motion sensor may be a gravity sensor G-sensor or a gyroscope sensor, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present invention.
- S132 illuminating the screen of the terminal and/or issuing a reminder signal according to the holding state and the displacement state.
- the terminal can perform different operations according to changes in the grip state and changes in the displacement state.
- the holding state is changed from the terminal not being controlled by the user until the terminal is held by the user
- the displacement state is changed from the terminal without displacement to the terminal, and the terminal is determined.
- the screen is currently off, the screen of the terminal is illuminated.
- the embodiment of the present invention determines whether the terminal is picked up by the user by combining the change of the grip state and the change of the displacement state. If the grip state is changed from the terminal not being gripped by the user until the terminal is held by the user, and the displacement state is changed from the terminal without displacement to the displacement of the terminal, it is determined that the terminal is picked up by the user, thereby lighting the screen for the user to use. For example, if the terminal sets a lock screen, the lighting screen enters the unlocking interface to wait for the user to unlock the use; if the lock screen is not set, the screen is illuminated for the user to directly use.
- the screen of the terminal is lit, if the user is not unlocked and the idle time of the terminal reaches the set value, the screen of the terminal is closed.
- the user does not unlock, indicating that the user just picks up the terminal and does not want to use the terminal, so the screen of the terminal is closed when the idle time reaches the set value.
- This embodiment enables the terminal to illuminate the screen of the terminal according to the terminal being held and moved in motion when the terminal is picked up by the user from a stable position (e.g., on a table). Therefore, the user is not required to open the screen, which improves the efficiency of the user's use of the terminal and improves the user experience.
- FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram of a method for controlling a terminal according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 8, the specific process of the method for controlling a terminal in this embodiment is as follows.
- the terminal is still and the screen is off.
- the terminal is still and the screen is off. At this point, the terminal is not held by the user and the terminal has no position. For example, the terminal is in a stable position, is in a sleep state, and is not being used.
- the terminal is picked up by the user when the terminal is held while the terminal is displaced. Since the terminal is not held by the user and has no displacement, the terminal is determined to be held by the user according to the capacitance result of the capacitance sensor. At the same time, when the displacement of the terminal is determined according to the displacement result of the motion sensor, it can be determined that the terminal is taken by the user. Then, S804 is executed next.
- the screen is illuminated for the user to unlock.
- the screen is turned off when the idle time reaches the set value.
- the terminal Since the user is not unlocked, the terminal is still idle, so the screen can be turned off when the idle time reaches the set value.
- the method for controlling a terminal in the embodiment of the present invention automatically illuminates the terminal by changing the state in which the terminal is not held by the user until the terminal is held by the user while the displacement state of the terminal changes from no displacement of the terminal to displacement of the terminal.
- Screen can save the user from passing when picking up the terminal
- the operation of the power key to turn on the screen facilitates the user's use and improves the efficiency of the user's use of the terminal, thereby improving the user experience.
- the holding state is changed from the terminal not being controlled by the user until the terminal is held by the user
- the displacement state is changed from the terminal without displacement to the terminal, and the terminal is determined.
- a reminder signal is sent.
- the reminding event may specifically be: an unread mail, a message, a missed call, or an unread schedule.
- the terminal is picked up by the user, the user is automatically reminded to The user is aware of the reminder event.
- the embodiment of the present invention determines whether the terminal is picked up by the user by combining the change of the grip state and the change of the displacement state. If the holding state is changed from the terminal not being controlled by the user until the terminal is held by the user, and the displacement state is changed from the terminal without displacement to the displacement of the terminal, it is determined that the terminal is picked up by the user, and if the terminal has a reminding time, the terminal is issued.
- the alert signal includes a vibration and/or ringing signal. That is to say, the user can be alerted by vibration or by ringing.
- FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram of a method for controlling a terminal according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 9, the specific process of the method for controlling a terminal in this embodiment is as follows.
- the terminal is still and the screen is off.
- the terminal is still and the screen is off. At this point, the terminal is not held by the user and the terminal has no position. For example, the terminal is in a stable position, is in a sleep state, and is not being used.
- the terminal has a reminder event. For example, unread messages, messages, missed calls, or unread schedules.
Then, S905 is executed next.
- a reminder signal is sent to alert the user, such as a vibration or ringing signal to alert the user.
- the holding state is changed from the terminal not being controlled by the user until the terminal is held by the user
- the displacement state is changed from the terminal without displacement to the terminal, and the terminal is determined.
- the screen of the terminal is illuminated and a reminder signal is issued.
- the present embodiment is different from the previous embodiment in that, when it is determined that the terminal is picked up by the user, the screen of the terminal is illuminated and a reminder signal is issued. That is to say, if the holding state is changed from the terminal not being controlled by the user until the terminal is held by the user, and the displacement state is changed from the terminal without displacement to the displacement of the terminal, it is determined that the terminal is picked up by the user, and if the terminal has a reminder The event lights up the screen and sends a reminder signal to facilitate the user to handle the reminder event. Similarly, the alert signal includes a vibration and/or ringing signal.
- the screen of the terminal After the screen of the terminal is lit, if it is not unlocked by the user and the idle time of the terminal reaches the set value, the screen of the terminal is closed. The user does not unlock, indicating that the user just picks up the terminal and does not want to use the terminal, so the screen of the terminal is closed when the idle time reaches the set value.

Description

图 11是本发明一个实施例的终端的示意性框图;
图 12是本发明另一实施例的终端的示意性框图;
S110 , 获取终端的电容传感器检测的电容结果, 其中, 电容传感器位 于终端的边缘位置;
S120 , 根据电容结果, 确定终端的握持状态, 握持状态包括终端被用 户握持或者终端没有被用户握持;
电容传感器位于终端的边缘位置;
确定模块 1020, 用于根据电容结果, 确定终端的握持状态, 握持状态 包括终端被用户握持或者终端没有被用户握持;
