Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un panneau étanche à l'eau pour matériaux intérieurs et extérieurs utilisant une feuille de placage bois, et sur un procédé de fabrication associé. La présente invention peut réduire les coûts de fabrication par l'utilisation de feuille de placage bois moins chère qu'un papier kraft en combinaison avec du papier kraft. La présente invention permet également au panneau étanche à l'eau d'être utilisé aussi bien pour des matériaux extérieurs que pour des matériaux intérieurs dans des endroits humides par l'imprégnation de la feuille de placage bois et du papier kraft avec une résine étanche à l'eau. De plus, la présente invention a pour effet d'accroître la productivité, par l'imprégnation par une résine étanche à l'eau de la feuille de placage bois, formant des couches lamellaires, et du papier kraft, formant une couche de renfort d'adhérence étanche à l'eau, de telle sorte que le panneau étanche à l'eau peut être fabriqué par un processus de pressage à chaud en une seule étape, sans utiliser d'adhésif supplémentaire.
