Definitions
- the present invention relates to a system and a method for managing data objects. More specifically, the present invention relates to various types of data such as files, non-files, and dynamic data. The present invention relates to a method and system for effectively managing a terminal.
- folders or directories; hereinafter, "folders”
- terminals such as computers and smart devices
- Users will be responsible for collecting and linking distributed data, including the need to work between the Internet and multiple applications (email, calendar, contacts, accounting programs, etc.).
- file systems using folders are widely used in computers, various terminals, as well as cloud storages, but are not user-friendly and have structural inefficiencies.
- the file system of (hardware-based) storage media such as hard drives, SSDs, and memory cards, as well as the 'folder (or directory) system' commonly used by repositories such as cloud storage, are based on a 'tree structure'. In turn, this 'tree structure' provides the source of structural problems that occur when users manipulate files.
- the tree structure can only specify one file name as 'mutually exclusive' within a specific folder.
- the changed file When modifying an existing file, the changed file 'overwrites' the existing file. Or you should save it under a different name each time, such as "Report Draft.doc” or "Report01.doc".
- the comparison confirmation such as relation, change history, order, etc. is directly confirmed by the user. It is inconvenient because it cannot be processed without. Coexistence or mixing of these file versions can cause confusion and increase management difficulties, such as synchronization, especially when multiple users share and modify files such as 'same' documents.
- text-based searches such as web searches
- web search engines provide 'related search terms' and 'highly searched queries', but rather than 'understand' the contents of each web page, they calculate statistics on the keywords and frequencies that multiple search engine users enter at the same time. Since it is shown, the utility is inferior about private user data, such as a file and application data.
- the search for their own data, not the web differs greatly from the web search and its purpose and interests.
- most of the data does not have a statistically meaningful search to produce search keywords. This is because the number of users and search frequency are insufficient.
- 'tag' in addition to 'tree structure', and unlike 'tree structure', 'tag' can be duplicated by assigning a plurality of tags. Group items with common 'tags' and group them into a single 'set' or 'group'. You can assign tags to two or more categories at the same time.
- 'tags' exist in two main types of technology.
- Another 'tag' is a 'file tag' where some specific file formats, such as JPEGs or MP3 music files, support their own internal storage of tags. Photo tags and music playback applications that recognize them use Files can be sorted and organized fairly flexibly. However, this is only possible for certain file formats, and therefore cannot be applied to the management, such as consistent classification / organization of universal user data, such as other file formats or data within applications.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a technique for consistently and commonly managing and retrieving various user data distributed in various files, applications, and the like regardless of its form. Regardless of its physical or technical form, such as a file, a file can be organized and managed based on the user's intention or use of the data.
- the present invention allows the user data to be defined and managed as a 'logical object' based on a certain purpose and purpose, and various versions such as a change history or a modification file of the contents are referred to as a 'version object' as a part thereof.
- a 'version object' As a part thereof.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a management system that provides flexible classification / organization and retrieval of user data, free from the constraints of folder and tree structure, and this management system is a method of tag objects that users freely set and assign.
- Various classifications and configurations, such as subsets, intersections, and unions, can be expressed according to their characteristics to provide better browsing and retrieval methods than existing navigation methods, and various security functions such as permission management and encryption, and the application of these settings. It also provides a wide range of management functions, including scope.
- a tag system In order to provide a basis for classification / cleanup to user data and perform the reading or retrieval thereof, a tag system is not required to be dependent on the character string itself, but a technical system capable of understanding the meaning and the intention of the user is required. It is easy to assign / manage, and it is possible to establish a relationship such as 'same meaning' or 'include / dependency' between tags so that various tags can be recognized according to their meaning rather than the string itself. Semantic relation setting data 'is transmitted / shared to enhance its utilization, and tags and user data can be viewed or searched by reflecting this' semantic relation setting'.
- tags and user data are implemented, and various data are centered on users in complex environments such as cloud, mobile and social computing, as well as terminals such as computers and smart devices. It aims to provide technology that is consistently and easily managed, and that access, use, and sharing are efficient such as browsing and searching.
- a unified data object composed of files, non-files or dynamic data, given one or more tag information, managed by the tag information, and shared and transmitted between various applications, user accounts, devices or servers.
- a version object management unit managing a version information object of the integrated data object; And extracting a folder name of a file system, meta information of a file included in the folder, a file name of the file system, or meta information of a file of the file system as the tag information, and extracting the extracted tag information from the file system or the Included in the data object included in the folder includes an integrated data object switching unit for converting to the integrated data object, the version object management unit generates a version information object for the integrated data object when the integrated data object is created or changed If there is a request for the integrated data object, the integrated data object management system for providing the integrated data object according to the version information object.
