- Rf group a fluorinated copolymer having a perfluoroalkyl group
- a method for treating an article using a water / oil repellent composition is known.
- the Dip-Nip method is generally used. In other words, this is a method in which an expanded fabric (raw fabric) is dipped in a processing bath, squeezed with a roller, and then processed into a processed fabric through an atmospheric temperature or a drying step and a fixing step by heating.
- emulsion particles in the water / oil repellent are broken and aggregated due to mechanical impact in the processing bath and anionic impurities derived from the fabric.
- coarse particles may be formed (hereinafter referred to as “Scum”), which may be brought into the squeeze roller by the fabric being processed and deposited on the squeeze roller (hereinafter referred to as “Gum up”). Abstract
