Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif qui fournit un nouveau procédé permettant de raccourcir des profilés non ronds de manière similaire à celle des coupe-tubes existants pour des tuyaux ronds. Le dispositif comprend un disque rotatif qui tourne autour du profilé, et un chemin de came qui est dérivé de la forme du profilé. Ces deux éléments se trouvent plus ou moins concentriquement autour du profilé pour permettre sa coupe. La roulette de coupe, le galet d'entraînement et la poignée sont raccordés à un endroit sur le disque rotatif au moyen d'un arbre autour duquel ils peuvent tourner. Les mouvements réalisés par le galet d'entraînement sont, de cette manière, transmis à la roulette de coupe qui, ensuite, suit avec précision les contours du profilé. Le galet d'entraînement suit le chemin de came susmentionné. Le dispositif comprend un réglage avec lequel la position radiale de la roulette de coupe peut être ajustée davantage vers l'intérieur ou vers l'extérieur. La roulette de coupe peut ainsi effectuer par pression une coupe de plus en plus profonde tout autour du profilé et s'enfonçant dans ce dernier pour réaliser sa coupe. De cette manière, il est possible de couper des profilés sur site sans trop d'efforts. En outre, aucun copeau n'est produit.
