  • the mutually-facing sides of the first and second magnets 111 and 113 have the same polarity.
  • repulsive force is generated between the first and second magnets 111 and 113, so that the base 33 levitates in an upward direction which is a restoring direction from the steering wheel hub 11.
  • the contact member 130 may include first and second contact members 131 and 133 provided integrally with the first and second magnets 111 and 113, respectively. When the first contact member 131 makes contact with the second contact member 133, the horn honks.
  • the base 33 is supported movably up and down with respect to the steering wheel hub 11 by the guide member 150.
  • the guide member 150 may include at least one base hook 151 provided at the side of the base 33 and at least one steering hook 153 provided at the steering wheel hub 11.
  • the guide member 150 supports the base 33, which levitates due to the repulsive force generated between the first and second magnets 111 and 113, to the steering wheel hub 11.
  • the base hook 151 is coupled with the base 33 serving as a movable member so that the base hook 151 is provided movably with respect to the steering hook 153.
  • the base hook 151 slides along the steering hook 153, and the first contact member 131 makes contact with the second contact member 133 so that the horn honks.

  • the guide pin 251 guides the base 33 so that the base 33 moves up and down.
  • the guide pin 251 may include an anti-separation step 253 to prevent the base 33 from being out of the guide pin 251 when the base 33 moves upward.
  • the guide pin 251 supports the base 33 levitating by the repulsive force between the first and second magnets 111 and 113.
  • the guide pin 251 may be substituted for the guide member 250 shown in FIG. 2.
  • the central portions of the first and second magnets 111 and 113 are formed therein with pin holes 111a and 113a so that the guide pin 251 passes through the pin holes 111a and 113.
  • first and second contact members 131 and 133 are formed therein with pin holes 131a and 133a so that the guide pin 251 passes through the pin holes 131a and 133a.
  • the first and second contact members 131 and 133 may not be provided at the substantially-central portions of the first and second magnets 111 and 113, but may be provided at lateral portions of the first and second magnets 111 and 113 which are positioned out of the guide pin 251.   • a restoring member 410 of the horn switch device 400 includes a first magnet 411 having a rod shape and a second magnet 413 including a recess part 413a into which one end of the first magnet 411 is inserted.
  • the peripheral portion of the recess part 413a of the second magnet 413 has the same polarity as that of an inserting part of the first magnet 411, so that repulsive force is generated in a vertical direction V and a horizontal direction H.
  • the base 33 can be prevented from being fluidly tilted in a predetermined side direction without being pressed down while maintaining a level state. Accordingly, the pressing operation of the base 33, that is, the airbag apparatus can be smoothly performed.
  • the shapes of the first and second magnets 411 and 413 may be changed to each other.
  • the first magnet 411 may include a recess part
  • the second magnet 413 may have a rod shape.

  • the steering wheel connection part 17 surrounds the steering wheel spoke 13 in the form of a foam.
  • the airbag apparatus 30 serves as a movable member, and the steering wheel hub 11 and the steering wheel connection part serve as fixed members.
  • FIG. 9 is an enlarged view showing a marked part IX of FIG. 8.
  • the restoring member 610 of the horn switch device 600 is interposed between a flange part 34C of the airbag housing 34 and a mounting surface 17a of the steering wheel connection part 17.
  • the flange part 34c protrudes outward of an upper end of the airbag housing 34 while making contact with an inner surface of the airbag cover 37.
  • the restoring member 610 may include a first magnet 611 provided on the flange part 34c of the airbag housing 34 and a second magnet 613 provided on the mounting surface 17a formed at the inner part of the steering wheel connection part 17.
  • FIG. 10a is an enlarged view showing a marked part X of FIG. 8.
  • FIG. 10b illustrates the contact state of the contact member of FIG. 8.
  • the contact member 630 includes a first contact member 631 fixedly coupled with the base 33 of the airbag housing 34 and a second contact member 633 provided on the steering wheel hub 11 to make contact with the first contact member 631 when the base 33 is pressed down so that the horn honks.
  • the first contact member 631 has an upper end fixedly coupled with the base 33, and a lower end including a contact pin 632 passing through a through hole 11d of the steering wheel hub 11.
  • the contact pin 632 includes a support part 632a supported to a top surface of the base 33 while making contact with the top surface of the base 33, a contact surface 632b formed at a lower portion of the contact pin 632 and inclined toward the center of the contact pin 632, and a cone-shaped end part 32d connected to the contact surface 632b through an interposed part 632c protruding from a lower end of the contact surface 632b.
  • the second contact member 633 may include a contact wire 634 which is provided between a support surface 632e of the cone-shaped end part 632d and an outer surface of the steering wheel hub 11.
  • the contact wire 634 is adjacent to the through hole 11d and supported by a support member 636 while substantially corresponds to the interposed part 632c.
