Abstract

 本発明の目的は、磁気共鳴により非接触給電を行う給電システムにおいて、安価に位置ズレによる伝送効率の低減を防止することである。給電側、受電側駆動機構(24)、(34)が、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル(22A)、(31A)を駆動する。給電側マイコン(25)が、給電側、受電側駆動機構(24)、(34)を制御して給電側、受電側共鳴コイル(22A)、(31A)のコイル軸の傾きを連続的に変動させ、その間の給電側共鳴コイル(22A)での反射電力を測定する。給電側マイコン(25)は、測定した反射電力が最も小さい傾きに給電側、受電側共鳴コイル(22A)、(31A)のコイル軸を傾ける。

Description

給電システム
 本発明は、給電システムに係り、特に、磁界共鳴により非接触給電を行う一対の共鳴コイルを備えた給電システムに関するものである。
 近年、ハイブリッド自動車や電気自動車などに搭載されたバッテリに給電する給電システムとして、電源コードや送電ケーブルを用いないワイヤレス給電が注目されている。このワイヤレス給電技術の一つとして例えば共鳴式のものがある。
 この共鳴式の給電システムでは、互いに磁界共鳴する一対の共鳴コイルの一方を給電設備の地面に設置し、他方を車両に搭載して、給電設備の地面に設置された共鳴コイルから車両に搭載された共鳴コイルに非接触で電力を供給している。
 上述した給電システムでは、高効率で電力給電を行うために、一対の共鳴コイルが正対していることが望ましい。しかしながら、上述したように一対の共鳴コイルの一方は車両に搭載されているため、一対の共鳴コイルを正対位置に配置することが難しい、という問題があった。このため、従来では、一対の共鳴コイルが正対位置からズレた状態で、給電が行われ、伝送効率の低下を招いていた。
 そこで、一対の共鳴コイルの相対位置を検出する光センサなどを設け、検出した相対位置に応じて一対の共鳴コイルのコイル軸の傾きを調整するものが記載されている(特許文献1)。しかしながら、光センサは、泥などが付着すると検出ができなくなるため、車両に搭載するのには向いていない。
 また、特許文献1には、共鳴コイルの近傍に磁界強度センサを設けて、磁界強度を検出し、磁界強度が大きくなるように、共鳴コイルの傾きを調整することも開示されている。しかしながら、安価な磁界強度センサでは、磁界共鳴のような大きな磁界を検出することができない、という問題があった。また、光センサを用いた場合も、磁界強度センサを用いた場合も、別途センサを設ける必要があり、コスト的に問題がある。

 そこで、本発明は、安価に位置ズレによる伝送効率の低減を防止できる給電システムを提供することを課題とする。
 上述した課題を解決するための請求項1記載の発明は、磁界共鳴により非接触給電を行う一対の共鳴コイルを備えた給電システムにおいて、コイル軸の傾きが変動するように、前記一対の共鳴コイルの少なくとも一方を駆動する駆動手段と、前記駆動手段を制御して前記共鳴コイルのコイル軸の傾きを連続的に変動させる第1制御手段と、前記第1制御手段により前記共鳴コイルのコイル軸を連続的に変動させている間の前記一対の共鳴コイルの少なくとも一方での反射電力又は出力電力を測定する測定手段と、前記駆動手段を制御して前記測定手段により測定した反射電力が最も小さい又は出力電力が最も大きい傾きに前記共鳴コイルのコイル軸を傾ける第2制御手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする給電システムに存する。
 請求項2記載の発明は、前記駆動手段が、前記共鳴コイルを支持する一対のラックと、前記一対のラックに噛み合う歯車と、から構成され、前記歯車は、回転により前記一対のラックの一方が長手方向一方側に向かい、他方が長手方向他方側に向かうように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の給電システムに存する。
 以上説明したように請求項1記載の発明によれば、第2制御手段が、駆動手段を制御して測定手段により測定した反射電力が最も小さい又は出力電力が最も大きい傾きに共鳴コイルのコイル軸を傾ける。これにより、別途センサを設ける必要がなく、安価に位置ズレによる伝送効率の低減を防止できる。
 請求項2記載の発明によれば、簡単な構成でコイル軸の傾きが変動するように、共鳴コイルを駆動させることができる。

 以下、本発明の給電システムについて図1~図3を参照して説明する。図1に示すように、給電システム1は、車両の駐車スペースに配置される給電部2と、車両に搭載された受電部3と、を備えている。
 上記給電部2は、図1に示すように、電源としての高周波電源21と、高周波電源21からの高周波電力が供給される給電側コイルユニット22と、共振周波数を調整するための給電側コンデンサC1と、整合器23と、を備えている。
 上記高周波電源21は、高周波電力を生成して、給電側コイルユニット22に供給している。この高周波電源21により生成される高周波電力は、後述する共鳴コイルとしての給電側共鳴コイル22A及び受電側共鳴コイル31Aの共鳴周波数と等しくなるように設けられている。
 給電側コイルユニット22は、図2に示すように、高周波電源21から高周波電力が供給される給電側共鳴コイル22Aと、給電側共鳴コイル22Aが搭載される基板22Bと、給電側共鳴コイル22A及び基板22Bを収容する給電側シールドケース22Cと、を備えている。
 給電側共鳴コイル22Aは、平板状の基板22B上に搭載され、導線をスパイラル状に巻いて形成されている。給電側シールドケース22Cは、銅やアルミといった導電性の高い金属シールドから構成されている。この給電側シールドケース22Cは、底壁22C1と、底壁22C1の周縁から立設する周壁22C2と、から構成され、受電部3側が開口された箱型に設けられている。
 上記給電側コンデンサC1は、図1に示すように、例えば給電側共鳴コイル22Aと直列に接続され、給電側共鳴コイル22Aと共に共振回路を形成している。本実施形態では、給電側コンデンサC1は給電側共鳴コイル22Aと直列接続しているが、並列接続するようにしてもよい。
 整合器23は、高周波電源21と、給電側共鳴コイル22A及び給電側コンデンサC1から成る共振回路と、の間のインピーダンスを整合させるための回路である。整合器23は、コイルL1及びL2と、両端に印加される電圧に応じて容量が変化するバラクタC3及びC4と、を備えている。このバラクタC3及びC4の容量を調整することにより、インピーダンスが整合するように調整できる。
 受電部3は、図1に示すように、給電側コイルユニット22から非接触で受電する受電側コイルユニット31と、共振周波数を調整するための受電側コンデンサC2と、受電側コイルユニット31が受電した高周波電力を直流電力に変換する整流器32と、整流器32により変換された直流電力が供給される車載バッテリ33と、を備えている。
 受電側コイルユニット31は、図3に示すように、給電側共鳴コイル22Aと磁界共鳴する受電側共鳴コイル31Aと、受電側共鳴コイル31Aが搭載される基板31Bと、受電側共鳴コイル31A及び基板31Bを収容する受電側シールドケース31Cと、を備えている。
 受電側共鳴コイル31Aは、平板状の基板31B上に搭載され、導線をスパイラル状に巻いて形成されている。受電側シールドケース31Cは、銅やアルミといった導電性の高い金属シールドから構成されている。この受電側シールドケース31Cは、底壁31C1と、底壁31C1の周縁から立設する周壁31C2と、から構成され、給電部2側が開口された箱型に設けられている。
 上記受電側コンデンサC2は、図1に示すように、例えば受電側共鳴コイル31Aと直接に接続され、受電側共鳴コイル31Aと共に共振回路を形成している。本実施形態では、受電側コンデンサC2は受電側共鳴コイル31Aと直列接続しているが、並列接続するようにしてもよい。整流器32は、ダイオードD1~D4をブリッジ接続した全波整流回路32Aと、コンデンサC5と、から構成されている。
 上述した給電システム1によれば、車両の受電部3が給電設備の地面に設けた給電部2に近づいて、給電側共鳴コイル22Aと受電側共鳴コイル31Aとが対向する。このとき、給電側共鳴コイル22Aに高周波電流が供給されると、給電側共鳴コイル22Aと受電側共鳴コイル31Aとが磁界共鳴して、受電側共鳴コイル31Aが高周波電力を受電する。受電側共鳴コイル31Aで受電された高周波電力は、整流器32で直流電力に変換されて、車載バッテリ33に充電される。
 上述した給電システム1において、受電部3は車両に搭載されている。このため、図4(A)に示すように、給電側共鳴コイル22Aと受電側共鳴コイル31Aとのコイル軸Z1、Z2がズレて配置される恐れがある。図4(A)のように軸ズレが生じると、電力の伝送効率が下がってしまう。本実施形態では、図4(A)に示すように軸ズレが生じた場合、図4(B)に示すように、給電側共鳴コイル22A及び受電側共鳴コイル31Aのコイル軸Z1、Z2を傾けて正対位置に近づけて、軸ズレを小さくし、伝送効率の低減を防止している。
 そこで、上述した給電システム1は、コイル軸Z1、Z2の傾きが変動するように、給電側及び受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aを各々駆動する駆動手段としての給電側及び受電側駆動機構24、34(図3)と、給電側、受電側駆動機構24、34を各々制御する給電側、受電側マイクロコンピュータ(以下給電側、受電側マイコン)25、35(図1)と、整流器32と給電側コイルユニット22との間に設けられた測定手段としての反射電力測定部26(図1)と、をさらに備えている。
 上記給電側、受電側駆動機構24、34について図3を参照して説明する。なお、給電側コイルユニット22と受電側コイルユニット31、給電側駆動機構24と受電側駆動機構24、34、は、互いに同等の構成であり、説明を省略するために、図3では1つの図に給電側、受電側の2つの符号を付している。
 給電側、受電側駆動機構24、34はそれぞれ、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aが搭載された基板22B、31Bを支持する一対のラック4、5と、一対のラックに噛み合う歯車6と、歯車6を回転させるモータMと、モータMを駆動するモータドライバDと、から構成されている。一対のラック4、5は、一端がシールドケース22C、32Cに設けた孔からシールドケース22C、32C内に挿入され、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aが搭載された基板22B、31Bに固定されている。
 歯車6は、一対のラック4、5間に位置付けられている。これにより、歯車6が回転すると、一対のラック4、5の一方が長手方向一方側に向かい、他方が長手方向他方側に向かうように設けられている。
 詳しく説明すると、図3中、歯車6が時計回りに回転すると、右側のラック5が下がり、左側のラック4が上がり、右肩下がりに給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aが傾く。これに対して、歯車6が反時計周りに回転すると、右側のラック5が上がり、左側のラック4が下がり、右肩上がりに給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aが傾く。
 モータMは、回転軸が歯車6に固定されていて、歯車6を回転させる。モータドライバDは、給電側、受電側マイコン25、35からの制御信号に応じてモータMを駆動させる。これら給電側、受電側マイコン25、35は、RAM、ROM、CPUから構成される周知のマイクロコンピュータから構成され、アンテナATにそれぞれ接続されており、互いに通信することができる。
 反射電力測定部26は、例えばサーキュレータから構成され、高周波電源21から供給される高周波電力のうち給電側共鳴コイル22Aで反射される反射電力を検出して、給電側マイコン25に供給する。
 次に、上述した構成の給電システム1の動作について図5のフローチャートを参照して説明する。まず、車両が給電設備に近づいて、給電側共鳴コイル22Aと受電側共鳴コイル31Aとが対向する位置に配置されると、給電側マイコン25は処理を開始する。
 まず、給電側マイコン25は、ステップS1~S7を順次行い、充電を開始させる前に、軸ズレが小さくなるように給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aを傾ける。まず、ステップS1において、給電側マイコン25は、高周波電源21を制御して高周波電力を給電側共鳴コイル22Aに供給させる。このとき、給電側マイコン25は、通常の充電時よりも小電力が出力されるように高周波電源21を制御する。
 次に、給電側マイコン25は、反射電力測定部26により測定された反射電力を測定できるようにする(ステップS2)。さらに、給電側マイコン25は、第1制御手段として働き、モータMを制御して、給電側共鳴コイル22Aのコイル軸の傾きを予め定めた範囲内で連続的に駆動させる(ステップS3)。
 給電側マイコン25は、第2制御手段として働き、給電側共鳴コイル22Aを連続的に駆動している間に測定した反射電力のうち最も小さい傾きを求め、モータMを制御して求めた傾きに給電側共鳴コイル22Aを傾ける(ステップS4)。次に、給電側マイコン25は、第1制御手段として働き、アンテナATを介して受電側マイコン35と通信し、受電側共鳴コイル31Aのコイル軸の傾きを予め定めた範囲内で連続的に駆動させるように命令する(ステップS5)。
 受電側マイコン35は、上記命令を受信すると、モータMを制御して、受電側共鳴コイル31Aのコイル軸の傾きを予め定めた範囲内で連続的に駆動させると共に、受電側共鳴コイル31Aのコイル軸の傾きを逐次、給電側マイコン25に送信する。
 給電側マイコン25は、受電側共鳴コイル31Aの傾きを逐次受信することにより、受電側共鳴コイル31Aの傾きとそのときの反射電力との関係を把握することができる。給電側マイコン25は、第2制御手段として働き、受電側共鳴コイル31Aを連続的に駆動している間に測定した反射電力のうち最も小さい傾きを求め、求めた傾きに受電側共鳴コイル31Aを傾けるように受電側マイコン35に命令する(ステップS6)。この命令を受信すると、受電側マイコン35は、求めた傾きに受電側共鳴コイル31Aを傾けるようにモータMを制御する。
 次に、給電側マイコン25は、整合器23のバラクタC3、C4を連続的に駆動させて、その間の反射電力を測定し、最小となる値にバラクタを調整する(ステップS7)。その後、給電側マイコン25は、高周波電源21から通常の高周波電力を出力するように制御して、通常の充電を開始させた後(ステップS8)、処理を終了する。
 上述した実施形態によれば、給電側マイコン25が、給電側、受電側駆動機構24、34を制御して反射電力測定部26により測定した反射電力が最も小さい傾きに給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aのコイル軸Z1、Z2を傾ける。これにより、別途センサを設ける必要がなく、安価にコイル軸の軸ズレによる伝送効率の低減を防止できる。
 また、上述した実施形態によれば、給電側、受電側駆動機構24、34が、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aを支持する一対のラック4、5と、一対のラック4、5に噛み合う歯車6と、から構成され、歯車6は、回転により一対のラック4、5の一方が長手方向一方側に向かい、他方が長手方向他方側に向かうように設けられている。これにより、簡単な構成でコイル軸の傾きが変動するように、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aの少なくとも一方を駆動させることができる。
 なお、上述した実施形態によれば、反射電力測定部26を設け、反射電力により給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aの傾きを決定していたが、本発明はこれに限ったものではない。給電側又は受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aの出力電力を検出する出力電力測定部を設け、この出力電力が最大になる傾きに給電側、受電側共鳴コイル31Aを傾けるようにしてもよい。出力電力測定部としては、例えば整流器32と車載バッテリ33との間に設けられ、整流器32の出力電力を受電側共鳴コイル31Aの出力電力として測定するものが考えられる。もちろん、これに限ったものではなく、出力電力測定部としては、受電側共鳴コイル31Aと整流器32との間や、高周波電源21と整合器23、整合器23と給電側共鳴コイル22Aとの間に設けられていてもよいが、整流器32の出力電力は直流なので扱い易い。
 また、上述した実施形態によれば、反射電力測定部26を給電側共鳴コイル22Aと整合器23との間に設けていたが、これに限ったものではない。反射電力測定部26としては、高周波電源21と整合器23との間に設けてもよい。
 また、上述した実施形態によれば、反射電力測定部26は、給電側共鳴コイル22Aでの反射電力を測定していたが、本発明はこれに限ったものではない。受電側共鳴コイル31Aでの反射電力を測定するようにしてもよい。この場合、反射電力測定部26は、受電側共鳴コイル31Aと整流器32と間や、整流器32と車載バッテリ33との間に設けられている。
 また、上述した図5に示すフローチャートは一例に過ぎず、反射電力に基づいて給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aの傾きが調整できるようになっていればよい。例えば、図5に示すフローチャートでは、給電側マイコン25が、受電側マイコン35から受電側共鳴コイル31Aの傾きを受信して、反射電力が最小となる受電側共鳴コイル31Aの傾きを求めていたが、これに限ったものではない。受電側マイコン35が、給電側マイコン25から反射電力を受信して、受信した反射電力が最小となる受電側共鳴コイル31Aの傾きを求めるようにしてもよい。
 また、上述した実施形態によれば、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aの双方の傾きを調整していたが、本発明はこれに限ったものではない。給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aの何れか一方のみの傾きを調整するようにしてもよい。
 また、上述した実施形態によれば、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aを交互に傾けて、そのときの反射電力に基づいて傾きを決定していたが、本発明はこれに限ったものではない。例えば、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aを同時に連続的に傾けて、そのときの反射電力に基づいて傾きを決定するようにしてもよい。このとき、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aは互いに同じ傾きになるように連続的に傾けられる。
 また、上述した実施形態によれば、給電側、受電側駆動機構24、34は、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aが搭載された基板22B、31Bを傾けていたが、これに限ったものではない。例えば、給電側、受電側駆動機構24、34が、給電側、受電側シールドケース22C、31Cを傾けて、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aを傾けるようにしてもよい。
 また、上述した実施形態によれば、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aとしては、導線をスパイラル状に巻いて構成されていたが、これに限ったものではない。給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aとしては、螺旋状に巻かれていてもよい。
 また、給電側、受電側共鳴コイル22A、31Aのコイル軸は、互いの対向方向に沿って設けられ、互いのコイル軸が一直線状に並べられる位置を正対位置としていたが、これに限ったものではない。コイル軸としては、互いの対向方向と直交する方向に設けられてもよい。この場合、コイル軸方向の中心同士が対向方向に並べられる位置が正対位置となる。
 また、前述した実施形態は本発明の代表的な形態を示したに過ぎず、本発明は、実施形態に限定されるものではない。即ち、本発明の骨子を逸脱しない範囲で種々変形して実施することができる。

Claims (2)

  1.  磁界共鳴により非接触給電を行う一対の共鳴コイルを備えた給電システムにおいて、
     コイル軸の傾きが変動するように、前記一対の共鳴コイルの少なくとも一方を駆動する駆動手段と、
     前記駆動手段を制御して前記共鳴コイルのコイル軸の傾きを連続的に変動させる第1制御手段と、
     前記第1制御手段により前記共鳴コイルのコイル軸を連続的に変動させている間の前記一対の共鳴コイルの少なくとも一方での反射電力又は出力電力を測定する測定手段と、
     前記駆動手段を制御して前記測定手段により測定した反射電力が最も小さい又は出力電力が最も大きい傾きに前記共鳴コイルのコイル軸を傾ける第2制御手段と、
     を備えたことを特徴とする給電システム。
  2.  前記駆動手段が、前記共鳴コイルを支持する一対のラックと、前記一対のラックに噛み合う歯車と、から構成され、
     前記歯車は、回転により前記一対のラックの一方が長手方向一方側に向かい、他方が長手方向他方側に向かうように設けられている
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の給電システム。
