Abstract

In a small motorcycle having an engine mounted forward and beneath its seat, and a storage box mounted under the seat, a electrical accessory socket mounting structure includes a electrical accessory socket that is mounted to an arc-shaped side portion of a front surface of the storage box by way of a circular mounting hole within the storage box. The electrical accessory socket extends away from the storage box in a forward and sideward direction in a space efficient manner that avoids impacting the profile of motorcycle body covers. The electrical accessory socket is further disposed at an upward angle relative to a ground plane, such that an adapter opening of the electrical accessory socket is oriented upwards toward the motorcycle's seat.
