- the immediate order processing unit 57 performs processing for proceeding with the received order based on the order reception instruction information. More specifically, the order immediate processing unit 57 performs processing such as settlement processing and stock allocation for the user's order. More specifically, the order immediate processing unit 57 performs payment processing according to the payment type for the order specified by the order reception instruction information, accesses the store inventory database, and if there is product inventory, Assigns and instructs an external system to ship the assigned goods.
- the payment process is, for example, a credit or sales process if the type of payment is a credit card, and a process for causing the external system to issue a transfer request slip if the transfer is a bank transfer.
- the order immediate processing unit 57 treats an error or reservation if there is no stock at the time of stock allocation.
- the order immediate processing unit 57 instructs the batch processing system to perform processing such as preparation for shipping in accordance with the stock allocation status, payment result, and the like.
- the order immediate processing unit 57 updates order information based on the payment status and the like.
- the order immediate processing unit 57 sets the time at which this processing is performed as the order time in the order information.
- the order immediate processing unit 57 generates and transmits an order result response indicating a screen including information indicating the fact and the order number. If an error occurs, an order result response indicating a screen including information indicating that is generated and transmitted.
- the processing of the order immediate processing unit 57 involves order information update and linkage with an external system. On the other hand, since it is an important process of accepting customer orders, the process itself cannot be eliminated. In the conventional system that performs processing only by the first communication method, the processing load of the order immediate processing unit 57 to be executed within a very short time after receiving the order reception instruction information and transmitting the order result response Is a problem. In addition, in an online shopping mall, a campaign that gives a user some kind of privilege on the condition that a predetermined purchase has been made within a predetermined period (that is, the order information reception time is extremely important in determining the suitability of the campaign). Campaigns with meaningful meanings).
- FIG. 8 is a sequence diagram illustrating an example of a processing flow when the first communication method and the second communication method are used.
- the cart confirmation instruction information and purchase instruction information in this figure are immediate processing requests.
- the cart confirmation instruction information and provisional response information are http responses to the cart confirmation instruction information and the purchase instruction information, respectively, and are HTML data for displaying a screen on the browser of the user terminal 2 or the like.
- the cart confirmation instruction information is normally transferred to the web server 5 by the distribution unit 52.
- the contents of this process are the same as those described with reference to FIG.
- the web server 5 normally processes requests and responses for displaying a screen for selecting a product not shown in FIG.
- the normal web server 5 is allowed to process up to the processing of the cart processing unit 55.
- One is that it is difficult to confirm an order without selecting a product.
- information on payment and shipping methods to be used can be set in advance, but there is a high need for real-time processing using the web for product selection.
- Another reason is that the load on the system is small compared to the processing related to the subsequent screen.
- access and update to transaction data such as order information occurs. However, since the access location is limited, the processing load is small compared to the order immediate processing unit 57 and the like.
- the purchase instruction information from the user is transferred to the high load compatible web server 7 by the distribution unit 52.
- the provisional response unit 58 is realized centering on the processor 21, the storage unit 22, and the communication unit 23 of the high load web server 7.
- the provisional response unit 58 uses, as an http response, provisional response information indicating a screen for advancing the procedure related to the order by the sequential processing request in response to the immediate processing request transferred when it is determined to use the second communication method. It transmits toward the user terminal 2.
- This provisional response information does not include elements such as buttons and links for transmitting an immediate processing request to the screen of the user terminal 2. In this way, it is possible to suppress access in the subsequent first communication method (such as http) in a certain transaction and guide the user to access using the second communication method (such as mail).
- provisional response unit 58 specifies information included in the immediate processing request in the mail transmission waiting queue for transmitting information for transmitting the sequential processing request to the user to the mail transmission server 8 (“ (Also called “sequential purchase request”).
- the immediate processing request to be processed by the provisional response unit 58 is purchase instruction information.
- FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing flow of the provisional response unit 58.
- the temporary response unit 58 first receives and acquires the immediate processing request transferred from the distribution unit 52 (step S201), and the temporary response unit 58 sends e-mail with information (sequential purchase request) specifying the order. Store in the transmission waiting queue (step S202). Then, as a response to the immediate processing request, provisional response information indicating a screen indicating that the user sequentially transmits an email for transmitting the processing request to the user's email address is transmitted (step S203).
- the transmission request unit 59 is realized centering on the processor 21, the storage unit 22, and the communication unit 23 of the mail transmission server 8.
- the transmission request unit 59 is information that requests a user who has transmitted an immediate processing request for purchase instruction information to sequentially transmit processing requests using the second communication method (a communication protocol that does not require a response). Send information.
- the transmission request information is an order confirmation mail in the example of FIG. More specifically, the transmission request unit 59 sequentially acquires the sequential purchase requests stored in the mail transmission waiting queue, and transmits the transmission request information to the user who has placed the order indicated by the sequential purchase request. In other words, the transmission request unit 59 guides the user to transmit (sequentially) processing requests to the electronic commerce system 1 using the second communication method based on the transmission request information.
- FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing flow of the transmission request unit 59.
- the transmission request unit 59 included in the mail transmission server 8 acquires one sequential purchase request from the mail transmission waiting queue according to the order in which the processing requests are sequentially stored (step S301).
- the transmission request unit 59 obtains information for specifying an order from the sequential purchase request, and obtains information related to the order and information such as the customer's mail address from the order database and the customer database (step S302).
- the information related to the order acquired by the transmission request unit 59 is the same as that acquired by the order confirmation unit 56.
- the transmission request unit 59 allocates stock to this order.
- the stock allocation performed by the transmission request unit 59 is a kind of reservation, and is a temporary stock allocation.
- the allocated inventory may be automatically canceled in the course of further processing.
- the transmission request unit 59 generates a reception mail address corresponding to this transaction on a one-to-one basis (step S304).
- This reception mail address is used as an address for the mail reception server 9 to receive an order reception instruction mail which is a sequential processing request.
- the transmission request unit 59 generates a reception mail address using a hash function or the like.
- This e-mail address for reception is an immediate processing request transmitted by the first communication method and a sequential processing request (in this case, an order reception request) transmitted from the terminal operated by the user (user terminal 2 or another terminal) according to the transmission request information. (Instruction mail) and information that makes it possible to specify a transaction and a session ID.
- the reception mail address is generated by a hash function, and it is possible to prevent the user from being specified from the reception mail address. Then, the transmission request unit 59 passes this reception e-mail address to the e-mail address management unit 60 of the e-mail receiving server 9 (step S305), and adds this e-mail address to the order information corresponding to this transaction in the order database. Store.
- the transmission request unit 59 generates a text of an order confirmation email (transmission request information) (step S306). Then, the generated order confirmation mail is transmitted to the mail address of the user who placed the order for the sequential purchase request (step S307).
- the transmission request unit 59 sets the reception mail address generated in the In-Reply-To field and transmits the order confirmation mail.
- the transmission request unit 59 transmits an order confirmation email in which the reception email address is embedded, thereby replying to the order confirmation email as a sequential processing request associated with the immediate processing request (order reception instruction email). Can be transmitted to the user.
- FIG. 11 is a diagram showing an example of an order confirmation mail. Similar to the order confirmation screen, the order confirmation email describes the payment means used to pay for the product, the presence / absence of point use, the delivery method, and the delivery destination information. These pieces of information are stored in the customer database using the user as a key. However, unlike the order confirmation screen, to change the contents, it is necessary to access the web page of the online shopping mall site again. Further, the order confirmation mail includes a text indicating that the order is accepted by transmitting the order acceptance instruction mail. If the payment method and the shipping method used by the user are set in advance, the case where the payment method is changed is sufficiently smaller than the other cases.
- the processing of the transmission request unit 59 may be realized by the high load web server 7.
- the transmission request unit 59 may receive an immediate processing request instead of the provisional response unit 58, and transmit the transmission request information toward the user terminal 2 as a response to the immediate processing request.
- the transmission request information is information indicating a screen on which the content corresponding to the order confirmation mail is arranged and an element for sending the mail to the receiving mail address is arranged.
- This element is, for example, text, an image, or a button to which a “mailto” link is set.
- a predetermined operation for example, click, tap, etc.
- the mail receiving server 9 is a server that receives mail from the user.
- the mail reception storage unit 61 included in the mail reception server 9 is realized with the processor 21, the storage unit 22, and the communication unit 23 as the center.
- the mail reception storage unit 61 receives an order reception instruction mail (sequential processing request) transmitted from a plurality of users to a reception mail address, and stores the mail in a mail reception queue. At that time, the mail reception storage unit 61 stores the reception time when the order reception instruction mail is received in the mail reception queue together with the mail body, and transmits a reception confirmation mail to the mail address of the transmission source.
- the mail reception storage unit 61 stores the mail transmitted to any receiving mail address in one same mail reception queue.
- the mail reception storage unit 61 may be so-called mail server software.
- the mail address management unit 60 included in the mail receiving server 9 is realized centering on the processor 21, the storage unit 22, and the communication unit 23.
- the mail address management unit 60 manages the reception mail address.
- the mail address management unit 60 stores a plurality of reception email addresses in the storage unit 22 together with the generation time, and the mail reception storage unit 61 receives one or more reception email addresses stored in the storage unit 22. Control to allow.
- the reception mail address for which a certain time (for example, 30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.) has passed from the generation time is invalidated by deletion from the storage unit 22, and the order reception instruction mail for the reception mail address after that time has passed. Is not received by the mail reception storage unit 61, and an error mail is returned.
- an order can be received for the user by sending an error mail to the order reception instruction mail transmitted to the receiving mail address after a predetermined time has elapsed since the generation. It becomes possible to inform the absence earlier.
- the sequential processing unit 62 included in the sequential processing server 10 is realized centering on the processor 21, the storage unit 22, and the communication unit 23.
- the sequential processing unit 62 sequentially acquires the sequential processing requests stored by the mail reception storage unit 61 and processes the data included in the sequential processing requests.
- FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing flow of the sequential processing unit 62.
- the sequential processing unit 62 acquires one order reception instruction mail (sequential processing request) received earliest from the mail reception queue together with the reception mail address and the reception time (step S401).
- the sequential processing unit 62 acquires the order reception instruction mail received earliest by using, for example, the POP3 from the mail reception queue, and deletes the acquired order reception instruction mail from the mail reception queue.
- the sequential processing unit 62 does not necessarily have to acquire the order reception instruction mail in the order of the reception time.
- the sequential processing unit 62 may acquire the order reception instruction mail based on the order attribute targeted by the order reception instruction mail.
- the mail reception storage unit 61 instead of storing in the mail reception queue, of the order information stored in the order database stored in the database server 6, the order information having the received mail address of the received mail An operation for storing a sequential processing flag indicating that a mail has been received and has not been processed and a reception time is stored. Then, the sequential processing unit 62 sorts the order information for which the sequential processing flag is set according to a given condition, acquires one or a plurality of order information according to the sorted order, It is good to execute processing.
- the sequential processing unit 62 sorts the order information for products and services that need to be processed quickly such as limited-time products, accommodation services (including that day), and made-to-order products, etc. Sorting may be performed so that the order information for digital contents, products for which inventory has been secured, or products for which inventory is sufficiently known in advance is in the lower order. By doing so, it is possible to preferentially execute order reception processing related to goods or services whose orders should be confirmed early.
- the sort key the type of store, the number of days required for delivery determined by the relationship between the shipping source and the delivery destination, the settlement means, the standard number of days from order reception to delivery may be used.
- the sequential processing unit 62 specifies an order from the received mail address (step S402).
- the sequential processing unit 62 specifies an order targeted by the order reception instruction mail by searching, for example, a database of order information with the received mail address.
- the sequential processing unit 62 performs payment and stock allocation processing for the order (step S403).
- This process corresponds to the process of the immediate order processing unit 57. More specifically, the sequential processing unit 62 processes the payment according to the payment type for the specified order, accesses the store inventory database, allocates the product inventory, and allocates the inventory. Instruct the external system to ship the product. Further, the sequential processing unit 62 treats an error or reservation if there is no stock at the time of stock allocation. The sequential processing unit 62 updates the order information based on the payment status and the like. At this time, the sequential processing unit 62 sets the reception time of the order reception instruction mail (sequential processing request) in the order information as the reception time of the order information.
- the sequential processing unit 62 when the order is accepted as a result of the above-described processing, the sequential processing unit 62 generates a processing result notification email including information indicating that and an order number. Generates a processing result notification mail indicating that (step S405). Then, the generated processing result notification mail is transmitted to the user's mail address (step S406). Then, the processing from step S401 is repeated.
- the immediate processing unit 54 responds to the immediate processing request from the user in real time, and thus performs processing in parallel, for example. Therefore, if access concentrates, the load of the electronic commerce system 1 increases.
- the sequential processing unit 62 sequentially processes the sequential processing requests stored in the queue (mail reception queue), the number of sequential processing requests processed in parallel is constant (in the example of this embodiment, 1). ). Even if the access is concentrated, the sequential processing requests stored in the queue only increase, so the amount of increase in the load on the electronic commerce system 1 by processing the sequential processing requests is limited.
- the order time as the reception time of the sequential processing request, it is possible to prevent a disadvantage from being given to a user who places an order whose order time is important due to a campaign or the like. In addition, by doing this, it is possible to relieve the user from accessing the electronic commerce system 1 which is difficult to access in order to obtain a privilege such as a campaign.
- the allocation cancellation unit 63 included in the sequential processing server 10 is realized centering on the processor 21, the storage unit 22, and the communication unit 23.
- the allocation cancellation unit 63 cancels the allocation of the inventory when a predetermined time (for example, 1 hour) has elapsed since the transmission request unit 59 allocated the temporary inventory.
- provisional inventory is allocated to limited quantity products.
- the allocation cancellation unit 63 cancels the provision of the temporary stock, and the product for which the allocation has been cancelled is released. Allows other users to purchase.
- the transmission request unit 59 transmits not only one transmission request information (order confirmation mail) but also one or a plurality of additional transmission request information associated with the immediate processing request.
- description such as confirmation of goods and confirmation of payment method may be distributed in each transmission request information.
- the sequential processing unit 62 may perform processing such as payment and inventory allocation when all of the plurality of order confirmation emails are returned. In this way, it is possible to reduce the amount of text that the user browses at a time, or to eliminate the possibility of an order being erroneously determined when an attack is made to send to a random email address from the outside.
- the distribution unit 52 determines whether to use the first communication method or the second communication method. However, it may be determined using other criteria. . For example, the distribution unit 52 may decide to use the second communication method when there is a hardware failure of the normal web server 5 or a network failure between the normal web server 5 and the load distribution server 4, When the user terminal 2 is a shared terminal, information such as personal information and financial related information may be determined to be transmitted using the second communication method. Further, the distribution unit 52 may decide to send an order confirmation email using the second communication method when there is no access from the user for a certain period of time during the transaction (for example, after sending cart confirmation screen information). .
- the distribution unit 52 may distribute the immediate processing request based on the rank of the user.
- the database server 6 stores in advance rank specifying information for specifying each rank of the user, and the distribution unit 52 determines whether the first communication method is based on the rank specifying information for the user who has transmitted the immediate processing request. You may determine whether it is 2 communication methods. More specifically, a rank acquisition unit that acquires the user ID that transmitted the immediate processing request to the load distribution server 4 and acquires rank specifying information for the user of the user ID is provided, and the distribution unit 52 uses the rank specifying information. If the specified rank is within a predetermined range, such as higher or lower than a certain threshold, it may be determined to respond with the second communication method.
- the distribution unit 52 may distribute the immediate processing request using both the load and the rank of the user.
- the range of system load values is divided into a plurality of levels in advance, and the levels and user ranks are associated with each other. As the user's rank increases, the level to be associated increases, and the distribution unit 52 has a system load value that is greater than or equal to a value representative of the level corresponding to the user's rank and exceeds that value.
- the value representing this level may be a threshold value indicating the upper limit or the lower limit of the level.
- a plurality of threshold values which are boundaries that divide the range of system load values into a plurality of levels, are determined in advance, and the rank and the threshold value are associated so that the associated threshold value increases as the rank increases. It has been.
- processing may be performed so that communication between the user terminal 2 (which may be another terminal operated by the user) and the electronic commerce system 1 is performed using the second communication method. .
- SMS short message service
- a push notification to a messenger or a smartphone may be used for communication from the electronic commerce system 1 to the user terminal 2, or a communication from the user terminal 2 to the electronic commerce system 1 may be used.
- SMS short message service
- a messenger may be used.
