- the external display device 19 transmits an image captured by a camera included in the external display device 19 to the portable terminal device 1 as image data of the caller as image data, and a microphone included in the external display device 19 itself.
- the voice collected in the above is transmitted to the mobile terminal device 1 as voice data of the caller as voice data.
- the portable terminal device 1 transmits the image data and audio
- the mobile terminal device 1 displays the “call start” button on the external display device 19 only when it is determined that the caller information (for example, the caller's name, phone number, and face image) can be displayed. A call using the display device 19 is accepted.
- the caller information for example, the caller's name, phone number, and face image
- the mobile terminal device 1 transmits the image data to the external display device 19 from the playback position at or slightly before the start of the call, thereby causing the external display device 19 to resume displaying the image content. Therefore, in the case of broadcast content, the external display device 19 performs time shift reproduction. In this way, the external display device 19 resumes the display of the image content from the playback start point or just before the start of the call, so that the caller can view the image content without skipping the call time (without missing it). Can see.
- the mobile terminal device 1 when the mobile terminal device 1 makes a call by one person, the mobile terminal device 1 continues to transmit the image content to the external display device 19. Further, the mobile terminal device 1 records the image content (stores it in the storage unit 180). Alternatively, when an image accumulated by the mobile terminal device 1 such as an image captured by the imaging processing unit 120 (an image stored in the storage unit 180) is transmitted to the external display device 19, the storage unit 180 may The playback position at or slightly before the start time is stored as the start position of time shift playback.
- the mobile terminal device 1 After the call ends, the mobile terminal device 1 starts time-shifted playback from the playback position at or just before the start of the call. As a result, a caller who could not see the image content during the call can view the image content without skipping the call time. In time shift playback, the mobile terminal device 1 displays subtitles without outputting audio. This is for avoiding interference with the sound output from the external display device 19.
- FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of display on the external display device 19 when the mobile terminal device 1 performs time-shift reproduction.
- the external display device 19 displays the time-shift playback status of the mobile terminal device 1 in addition to the display of the image content from the mobile terminal device 1.
- the external display device 19 displays the playback image of the mobile terminal device 1 in a reduced size and displays the time bar TB in the area A31.
- the information adding unit 193 combines a reduced display of the playback image of the mobile terminal device 1 and an image of the time bar TB with the image data image on the external display device 19.
- the external display device 19 performs these displays.
- FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of a time bar displayed by the external display device 19.
- time T11 indicates a content reproduction start position
- time T14 indicates a content reproduction end position
- time T12 indicates a reproduction position in the mobile terminal device 1
- time T13 indicates a reproduction position in the external display device 19. Since the mobile terminal device 1 performs time-shifted playback, the playback position (time T12) in the mobile terminal device 1 is at the head of the playback position (time T13) in the external display device 19.
- the external display device 19 uses the content playback start position (time T11), the playback position (time T12) in the mobile terminal device 1, and the playback position (time) in the external display device 19. T13) is displayed.
- the external display device 19 ends the display of the time shift playback status of the mobile terminal device 1. For example, when the user of the mobile terminal device 1 performs a time shift playback end operation, the mobile terminal device 1 ends the time shift playback, and the external display device 19 ends the display of the time shift playback status of the mobile terminal device 1. .
- the playback position in the mobile terminal device 1 is in the external display device 19. It approaches the playback position.
- the playback position on the mobile terminal device 1 catches up with the playback position on the external display device 19
- the mobile terminal device 1 ends the time-shift playback
- the external display device 19 indicates the time-shift playback status of the mobile terminal device 1. End the display. In this case, a person who was viewing the image content on the mobile terminal device 1 can thereafter view the image content on the external display device 19.
- the external display device 19 displays the time-shifted playback status of the mobile terminal device 1, so that a person viewing the image content on the mobile terminal device 1 can view the playback position on the mobile terminal device 1 and the external display device 19.
- the time difference from the reproduction position can be grasped, and it can be used as a reference for determining whether to switch to viewing on the external display device 19 or not.
- the external display device 19 may not display the time-shifted playback status of the mobile terminal device 1, or may display only the reduced display of the playback image of the mobile terminal device 1 or the time bar. May be.
- the time shift reproduction status of the mobile terminal device 1 may be displayed on the mobile terminal device 1 side (specifically, the display processing unit 130). In this case, even if the mobile terminal device 1 performs a reduced display of the reproduced image of the mobile terminal device 1 itself, a person viewing the image cannot obtain additional information. Accordingly, it is conceivable that the mobile terminal device 1 displays only the time bar added to the content image.
- the case of a videophone has been described as an example, but the same applies to a case of a voice call.
- FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing a processing procedure for causing the display processing unit 130 to display information about the interrupt event on the display processing unit 130 when the interrupt event occurs.
- the portable terminal device 1 starts the process of FIG. 5 when receiving a user operation for instructing transmission of the image content to the external display device 19 or when the reason for interruption of the image content transmission such as a call ends.
- the mobile terminal device 1 finishes the process of FIG.
- the interrupt event notification processing unit 191 determines whether or not an interrupt event has occurred (step S101). When it determines with the interruption event not having generate
- step S121 may be data including image data such as broadcast content data
- step S122 the external display device 19

Abstract
