Abstract

The present invention addresses the problem of, during traveling in rain, preventing rain from adhering to a light collection material (1) serving as a wind protection for a vehicle body, and reducing the number of times of wiping of wipers (4) to thereby continuously provide good visibility, and during high-speed traveling, generating appropriate downforce. The present invention has a configuration in which a rain spoiler (2) having approximately the same length as the width of a light collection material (1) serving as a wind protection for a vehicle body is provided on a hood (3) immediately in front of a lower end frame of the light collection material (1) with gaps from wipers (4) with respect to the hood (3) so as to be obliquely rearward and upward inclined at an angle approximately parallel to the light collection material (1) or larger than the inclination angle of the light collection material (1) and protrude to an appropriate height, thereby generating appropriate downforce, and deflecting traveling wind (7) in a direction above the roof of the light collection material (1) so that rain is prevented from adhering to the surface of the light collection material (1) during traveling in rain.

Description

Rain spoiler
The present invention relates to a rain spoiler that protects against rain and snow (hereinafter referred to as rain) adhering to a daylighting material serving as a windshield of a vehicle body during running during rain, and generates downforce during running.
Conventionally, rain adhered to a daylighting material that serves as a windshield for a vehicle body during rainy weather is wiped off with a wiper. The operation of the wiper wipes rain by a circular reciprocating motion in which the wiper blade moves up and down or left and right with an axis provided on the window frame as a fulcrum. Since the number of times the wiper wipes rain is directly proportional to the amount of rain, the wiper blade crosses in front of the driver's eyes when the number of wiper wipes is large. In recent years, it has been possible to blow away rain by water-repellent processing of daylighting materials, but it is ineffective against snow, mist, frost, insect hits, and mud splashes. Further, when the vehicle body travels at a high speed even on a straight road, the road surface followability of the tire is lowered. However, when an appropriate downforce occurs, the steering stability is improved by pressing the tire against the ground.

The effect of the present invention 1 is that the rain spoiler 2 is inclined obliquely upward and rearward at the rear end of the bonnet 3 and protrudes to an appropriate height so that the wind direction of the traveling wind 7 is directed in the roof direction of the windshield of the vehicle body. Since it is deflected, it is blown off so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1 during rainfall. During traveling during rain, the number of wiping off the obtrusive wiper 4 is reduced. During traveling, the rain spoiler 2 prevents the traveling wind 7 from directly hitting the surface of the daylighting material 1, so that the windshield is prevented from being soiled. The appropriate height of the rain spoiler 2 covers the exposed installation location of the wiper 4, and the smart vehicle body is emphasized. The appropriate height of the rain spoiler 2 covers the exposed installation location of the wiper 4, and the smart vehicle body is emphasized. The rain spoiler 2 is an invention that has many features that enhance the value of the vehicle body and is very cost-effective, such as being housed in the hood 3 and being inexpensive to manufacture.
As an effect of the present invention 2, when the rain spoiler 2 is attached to the bonnet 3, the downforce is generated with respect to the vehicle body when the traveling wind 7 is deflected rearward and upward. By increasing the down force (ground effect), the grip power of the front and rear wheel tires is improved particularly during high-speed traveling, and the steering performance such as turning performance and straight running stability performance is improved.
As an effect of the third aspect of the present invention, the traveling wind 9 blown between the traveling wind 7 and the daylighting material 1 from the traveling wind outlet 10 during traveling during rain does not bring rain to the surface of the daylighting material 1. When the traveling wind 9 blows out from the traveling wind outlet 10, a natural wind flow of the traveling wind 7 is generated, and thus the downforce 8 is generated.

FIG.
In the present invention, the surface of the bonnet 3 is inclined rearward and upward, and the rear end of the bonnet 3 is spaced from the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 so as to protrude from the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 to an appropriate height. Thus, the shape of the rain spoiler 2 having an effect is obtained. The shape of the bonnet 3 is various. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
Therefore, the rain spoiler according to claim 1 of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as “present invention 1”) is spaced from the daylighting material 1 immediately before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 serving as a windshield of the vehicle body. A rain spoiler 2 having a length substantially the same as the width, inclined obliquely upward and rearward at an angle substantially parallel to the daylighting material 1 or larger than the angle of inclination of the daylighting material 1, and protruding to an appropriate height. Is formed integrally at the end of the bonnet 3 and is blown off by the rain spoiler 2 before rain adheres to the surface of the daylighting material 1 during traveling during rain.
As an example of embodiment, FIG. 1a is a perspective view showing that the shape of the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 1 is such that the entire bonnet 3 becomes the rain spoiler 2 and is formed at an angle larger than the inclination angle of the daylighting material 1. 1b is a side view, and FIG. 1c is a cross-sectional view taken along line aa of FIG. 1a.
In the present invention 1, a gap between the wiper 4 is set with respect to the bonnet 3 immediately before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 serving as a windshield of an automobile, and the length of the daylighting material 1 is substantially the same. It shows that the entire bonnet 3 is formed so as to be inclined obliquely upward and rearward at an angle larger than the inclination angle of the daylighting material 1 along the curved glass, and protruded to an appropriate height. The entire bonnet 3 in which the traveling wind 7 is inclined obliquely is used as the rain spoiler 2, and the wind direction is deflected obliquely upward and backward, so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1 while the vehicle is traveling during rain. Has the effect of blowing away.
As an example of the embodiment, FIG. 2a shows that the shape of the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 1 is formed so that the rear part is substantially larger than the inclination angle of the daylighting material 1 from approximately the middle of the length of the bonnet 3. It is a perspective view, FIG. 2b is a side view, FIG. 2c is sectional drawing by the bb line | wire of FIG. 2a.
In the present invention 1, a gap between the wiper 4 is set with respect to the bonnet 3 immediately before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 serving as a windshield of an automobile, and the length of the daylighting material 1 is substantially the same. Along the curved glass, it is inclined obliquely upward and rearward at an angle larger than the inclination angle of the daylighting material 1 and protrudes to an appropriate height so as to be provided rearward from approximately the middle of the length of the bonnet 3. Show. Since the wind direction of the traveling wind 7 is deflected obliquely upward and backward by the rain spoiler 2, there is an effect of blowing rain so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1 while the vehicle is traveling during rain.
As an example of the embodiment, FIG. 3a shows the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 1 provided at the rear end of the bonnet 3 having the same height as the front fender 5 just before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 serving as a windshield of an automobile. FIG. 3b is a side view, and FIG. 3c is a cross-sectional view taken along the line cc of FIG. 3a.
In the present invention 1, the wiper 4 is spaced from the bonnet 3 and has a length substantially the same as the width of the daylighting material 1, and from the inclination angle of the daylighting material 1 along the curved glass of the daylighting material 1. It shows that it is provided at the rear end of the bonnet 3 so as to be inclined obliquely upward and rearward at a large angle and protrude to an appropriate height.
The rain spoiler 2 that is inclined at an angle larger than the inclination angle of the daylighting material 1 and protrudes to an appropriate height deflects the traveling wind 7 upward while the automobile is traveling in the rain so that the roof of the daylighting material 1 can be obtained. It is blown up so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1. The shape of the curved rain spoiler 2 is not limited and may be a shape in which only the central portion of the daylighting material 1 is widened.
As an example of the embodiment, FIG. 4a shows the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 1 in which the height of the rear half of the bonnet 3 is lower than the height of the front fender 5 just before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 serving as a windshield of an automobile. FIG. 4b is a side view, and FIG. 4c is a cross-sectional view taken along the line dd of FIG. 4a.
The bonnet 3 on the front side of the rain spoiler 2 that is obliquely inclined upward and rearward is recessed in the vehicle body, whereby the angle of the rain spoiler 2 with respect to the bonnet 3 is increased, and the traveling wind 7 is deflected rapidly. Therefore, since the traveling wind 7 is largely deflected upward and rearward, there is an effect of blowing rain so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1 while the automobile is traveling during rain.
As an example of the embodiment, FIG. 5a shows the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 1 with the height of the entire bonnet 3 lower than the height of the front fender 5, just before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 serving as a windshield of an automobile. FIG. 5b is a perspective view showing that it is provided at the rear end, FIG. 5b is a side view, and FIG. 5c is a sectional view taken along line ee of FIG. 5a.
The entire bonnet 3 on the front side of the rain spoiler 2 that is obliquely inclined rearward and upward is recessed in the vehicle body, so that the wind direction of the traveling wind 7 is deflected from a position lower than the front fender 5, and the automobile is raining. The effect of blowing rain is improved so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1 during running.
As an example of the embodiment, FIG. 6 shows that the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 1 is provided in a curved shape higher than the height of the outer plate 6 on the traveling direction side, just before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 serving as a windshield for the Shinkansen. It is a perspective view which shows having been carried out. The angle at which the traveling wind 7 hits the rain spoiler 2 is increased, the wind direction is greatly deflected upward and backward by the rain spoiler 2, and the rain is blown away so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1 while the Shinkansen travels during rain. The effect is improved.
The boundary surface between the rain spoiler 2 and the bonnet 3 has a good curved surface so that the traveling wind 7 flows without resistance, and the surface of the rain spoiler 2 is not limited to a flat surface, a curved surface, or a gently curved surface. In addition, the shape varies depending on the type of vehicle such as a passenger car, a sports type automobile, a racing car, etc., and the rain spoiler 2 detects the speed of the vehicle body, the vibration acceleration of the vehicle body, the pressure of the surface, and calculates an appropriate angle based on these detection data. Depending on the situation, an appropriate angle, height, and size may be set. The material of the rain spoiler 2 is the same as that of the bonnet 3 and the outer plate 6 of the vehicle body.
The vehicle body equipped with the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 1 is manufactured at a very low cost by simply deforming or changing the bonnet 3 or the outer plate 6 of the current product into the rain spoiler 2 by pressing or the like in the production process. The It is an invention that exhibits its effects during high-speed driving for a long time, increases the value of an expensive vehicle body, and is highly cost-effective.
In the vehicle body provided with the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention, the exposed location of the wiper 4 is covered by the rain spoiler 2, and a smart vehicle body line is utilized in terms of design.
The vehicle body referred to in the present invention 1 is an automobile, an electric vehicle, a hybrid car, a bullet train, a linear motor car, or a streamline train. In the case of a railway vehicle, the bonnet 3 referred to in the present invention is an outer plate 6 that is provided in front of the lower end of the daylighting material 1 that serves as a windshield of the vehicle and is inclined obliquely downward and forward.
The rain spoiler according to claim 2 of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as the present invention 2) is characterized in that the rain spoiler 2 generates a down force 8 during traveling.
As an example of the embodiment, FIG. 7 is a side view showing a state in which the downforce 8 is generated during the traveling of the present invention 2. When running continuously, such as at high speeds, downforce is generated and steering performance is improved.
The shape of the rain spoiler 2 provided on the bonnet 3 for generating the down force is various as described in the present invention 1, and the bonnet 3 having an angle larger than the angle of the daylighting material 1 is provided so as to protrude from the front fender 5. As a result, the traveling wind 7 is deflected upward and rearward, and a down force 8 is generated. In order to generate the downforce 8 optimally, the angle, length, and height of the rain spoiler 2 need to be set appropriately. In the case of an automobile, the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention 2 is the center of the front of the vehicle body as a place where the downforce 8 is generated, and is the best position for the balance of the vehicle body.
The rain spoiler according to claim 3 of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as the present invention 3) is characterized in that a traveling air outlet 10 is provided at an interval provided with respect to the bonnet 3 immediately before the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1. Yes.
As an example of the embodiment, FIG. 8a is a top view showing that the traveling air outlet 10 of the present invention 3 is provided at a distance between the lower end frame of the daylighting material 1 and the rear end of the bonnet 3. FIG. 8 b shows that the traveling wind 9 is ejected from the traveling wind outlet 10 on the surface of the daylighting material 1.
The traveling wind 9 is taken in from the front surface, side surface, and lower surface of the vehicle body, passes through the bottom surface of the vehicle body, the front fender 5 or the engine room, and blows out from the traveling wind outlet 10 to the surface of the daylighting material 1. The traveling wind 9 blown between the traveling wind 7 and the daylighting material 1 during the raining does not bring rain to the surface of the daylighting material 1. When the traveling wind 9 blows out from the traveling wind outlet 10, a natural wind flow of the traveling wind 7 is generated, and thus the downforce 8 is generated.
As described above, when the vehicle is traveling at high speed, the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention generates a down force and improves the steering performance. The traveling wind 7 that strikes the surface of the daylighting material 1 during traveling is deflected upward, thereby preventing dirt such as splashes of mud, insect hits and bird droppings from adhering. While the vehicle is traveling during rain, the rain spoiler 2 of the present invention deflects the traveling wind 7 upward so that rain does not adhere to the surface of the daylighting material 1. And it is possible to minimize the number of times the wiper 4 is wiped, and it is suitable as a water droplet protection device having an effect of assisting the wiper 4.
