Definitions
- the utility model presented refers to a spice regulator spout whose conformation and characteristics confer some manufacturing and use advantages that substantially improve the existing species in the state of the art and in the market.
- this innovation develops a grocer specially designed to fulfill three basic functions: contain spices, regulate and dose the output of them and remove them to prevent compaction and caking.
- spices and condiments are of which there is an immense variety of very diverse geographical origins, practically from all continents. This variety is also evidenced in the typology of spices, which are in granulated, powdery, sheet, sheet, etc. To this we must add that, although spices and condiments are usually, due to their own characteristics, long-lasting products, they suffer a gradual loss of properties and qualities, so it is essential to ensure their storage in appropriate containers.
- spices and condiments have a long durability but one of the most frequent problems of their storage, especially if their use is not very frequent, is that they tend to cake and compact both at the bottom of the container as in the exit holes, accumulating a moisture that detracts from its qualities.
- the only remedy is to remove the spice, using any long instrument such as spoon handles, knives or a simple stick, or turning and shaking the container to air its contents.
- the invention presented in this utility model is aimed at a spice regulator spout with various exit points to dose spice spillage and an internal stirring mechanism that gives solution to the problems described.
- the container or container has in its upper part an annular prominence from which an upper cylinder extends in which different groups of outlet holes of different diameter and a blind section are located, said groups and section being separated by ribs perpendicular.
- the lid which has a turning capacity, is shaped like a cap, with a single window in its perimeter skirt and with perpendicular stems inserted inside.
- This cover also has perpendicular nerves on the inside of its perimeter skirt.
- the container and lid assembly is carried out under pressure and the correlation between the window present in the lid and the different exit holes of the spice or the blind section present in the container is carried out with the rotating movement of the lid, which is locked in the position desired by the action of the nerves located in both pieces.
- the conjunction of both parties forms the spice regulator.
- the body of the container intended for the spice can be formed with a rigid material or with a flexible material.
- the grocer acts as a sprayer, which allows the species to escape with a pulverulent spray and in minimal quantities.
- Figure 2. Detail view of the grocer's cap.
- Figure 3. Detail view of the grocer's body.
- Figure 4. Detail view of the inside of the cap.
- Figure 6. Section of the grocer's body.
- Figure 7. View of the grocer's body with detail of the regulator in another exit position of the spices.
- Figure 8. View of the grocer's body with detail of the regulator in the closed position. Description of a preferred embodiment
- the conformation of the spice regulator spout is shown, which, as described in Figure 1, comprises two single pieces, a first piece that becomes the container (1) or spice container and a second piece that becomes the lid (2) of the grocer, leaving between them an annular prominence (3) that is part of the container (1).
- Figure 2 shows the cover (2), formed as a cap with a blind perimeter skirt (4) except for a section in which a window (5) is drawn and with perpendicular stems (6) inserted in its interior part.
- this cover (2) is shown in greater detail, the perpendicular nerves (8) located on the inside of the perimeter skirt (4) and the interlocking of the stems (6) also perpendicular being visible.
- FIG. 3 and 6 the body of the grocer is shown in detail, formed by a container (1) that has an annular prominence (3) in its upper part from which an upper cylinder (9) extends in whose perimeter they place different groupings of exit holes (10) of different diameter and a blind section, said groupings and section being separated by perpendicular ribs (12) located on the outside of said cylinder (9).
- Figure 6 also shows the channel (11) that is drawn between the annular prominence (3) and the upper cylinder (9) which will be the point of enclave of the projecting flange (7) of the cover (2) already described in figures 4 and 5.
- the container can be rigid or partially flexible, in particular, it will be flexible from the base to the prominence described.
- the use of the grocer is simple and intuitive.
- the assembly between the lid (2) and the container (1) is carried out under pressure, as the protruding flange (7) of the perimeter skirt (4) of the lid (2) is accommodated in the channel (1 1) existing in the container (one).
- the capacity of rotation of the cover (2) allows its unique perimeter window (5) to be positioned, at the user's free choice, in coincidence with the desired grouping of holes (10) between those existing in the perimeter of the cylinder upper (9) of the container or coinciding with its blind section (13), which implies that the grocer is in the closed position.
- the adjustment and settlement between holes (10) or blind section (13) with the window (5) is achieved by the action of the respective perpendicular nerves (8) and (12) existing inside the perimeter skirt (4) of the cover (2) and the outer part of said cylinder (9).
- the lid chooses a point of dosage and exit and flip the spice: the spice falls by its own weight. If the body of the grocer, that is, the part prior to the prominence described, is flexible, it is enough to slightly tilt the grocer and tighten the container. The displacement of part of the contained air will drive the spraying of the powdery spice. In this flexible conformation, the grocer becomes a sprayer. Stirring of the spice is achieved by the action of the stems (6) inserted in the inside of the lid (1) since it is enough to turn it so that the aforementioned stems (6) move and remove the spice contained in the package.
- the upper cylinder (9) has the open mouth to allow filling of the container.
- said open mouthpiece allows the stems (6) inserted in the said lid to be located inside the container and fulfill their purpose of removing the spice by rotating together with the lid (2).
- the number, length and spatial distribution of the stems are variable.
- the simplicity of the claimed grocer is evident, which is reduced to two single pieces - container and lid - with the reduction of production costs that this implies in raw material, molds, assembly and handling.
- the new species has obvious advantages of use: different points of dosage and exit of the spice to free choice; ability to remove and aerate the spice, which prevents the loss of its qualities; possibility of spraying the spice, achieving a sprinkling of tiny amounts of spice, etc. It is not considered necessary to make this description more extensive so that any person skilled in the art understands the scope of the invention and the advantages derived therefrom.
