Description

OVEN COMPRISING SUPPORT UNIT
The present invention relates to an oven comprising a support unit.
In some of the state of the art ovens, the trays are supported by means of the support units having guides that are mounted to the side walls so as to be suitable for placing the trays one above the other in the oven cavity and that are positioned at cooking levels predetermined by the producer for different types of food. In these embodiments, the user cannot perform the cooking process at a cooking level that is different than the cooking levels predetermined by the producer.
In some of the state of the art ovens, the trays are placed on telescopic rails that are mounted on the guides, whereby the user can easily perform the loading and unloading operations. In these embodiments, when the telescopic rail is placed on the guide and the tray on the telescopic rail, the position of the tray inside the oven cavity does not coincide with any one of the cooking levels predetermined by the producer.
In the state of the art United States Patent Application No. US5429043, an oven is explained, that comprises a support bar whereon the tray is placed, raised and lowered by means of a movement mechanism whereby the position of the tray inside the oven cavity can be adjusted precisely.
In the state of the art International Patent Application No. WO2010012593, an oven is explained, having the support unit comprising a guide that provides the position of the tray, when placed on the telescopic rail, to almost coincide with the same position as the cooking level predetermined by the producer.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of an oven comprising support unit, the position of which can be changed easily by the user.
The oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises support units having guides positioned oppositely on the side walls inside the oven cavity and suitable for placing the tray thereon.
The oven of the present invention comprises the support units that can be at low or high positions on the side walls. Thus, problems like burning or undercooking of the food being cooked are prevented from occurring when different cooking means like skewer, etc. are used instead of the tray.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the support unit can be kept at two different positions, being suspended from the side wall inside the oven cavity. In this embodiment, the user prefers the first position when the cooking process is desired to be performed by means of the tray and the second position when the foods like chicken, turkey etc. are desired to be cooked by means of the skewer.
In an embodiment of the present invention, two housings are situated on each of the side walls. When the position of the support unit is desired to be changed, the user places a pin into one of the housings, which provides the mounting of the support unit to the side wall.
In another embodiment of the present invention, two pins are provided on the support unit. The user mounts one of the pins that is on the support unit into the housing when the position of the support unit is desired to be changed.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises telescopic rail that are mounted detachably on the guide and that facilitate loading of the tray into the oven.
In a derivative of this embodiment, the tray, when placed on the guide, the support unit is used in the first position, and when placed on the telescopic rail, the support unit is used in the second position. Thus, the user can perform the cooking process at the cooking levels predetermined by the producer by using the telescopic rail.
In a derivative of this embodiment, the difference of height between two housings situated at different elevations on the side wall is as much as the height of the telescopic rail.
In another derivative of this embodiment, the difference of height between two pins situated at different elevations on the support unit is as much as the height of the telescopic rail.
In the oven of the present invention, the position of the support unit can be changed easily, thus the user can load the tray on the telescopic rail, in alignment with the cooking level desired to be used from the cooking levels predetermined by the producer. This situation increases customer satisfaction.
