Abstract

The present invention relates to an oven (1) comprising an oven cavity (2) wherein the ingredients to be cooked are placed, a casing (5) that surrounds the oven cavity (2), configured as a box with front side open, having a base (3) and two side walls (4), more than one guide (6) situated oppositely on the side walls (4), positioned at different cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer and at least two telescopic rails (7) mounted on each of the opposite guides (6) whereon the tray (T) is placed and providing the tray (T) to be taken out of the casing (5) by being pulled in the horizontal direction, wherein the telescopic rail (7), which, when mounted on the lower guide (6) from the two guides (6) at different cooking levels, provides the tray (T) placed thereon to be positioned at the level of the upper guide (6).

Description

AN OVEN COMPRISING TELESCOPIC RAILS
The present invention relates to an oven that comprises guides suitable for placing telescopic rails thereon.
In ovens, the trays, whereon the foods are placed, are supported by various methods inside the oven casing that surrounds the oven cavity. For example, the trays are placed on guides that extend towards the inner side on the side walls of the casing. The guides are positioned at different cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer for different types of foods. In the state of the art, furthermore telescopic rails are used that are mounted on the guide whereby the user can easily perform the loading and unloading operations. However, when the telescopic rail is placed on the guide and the tray on the telescopic rail, the position of the tray inside the oven cavity does not coincide with any one of the cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer. This situation results in the foods on the tray to be undercooked or overcooked and hence the oven not being able to used effectively.
In the state of the art International Patent Application No. WO2010012593, an oven is explained, having a guide that provides the position of the tray, when placed on the telescopic rail, to almost coincide with the same position as the cooking level predetermined by the manufacturer.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of an oven comprising telescopic rails that enables the tray placed thereon to be positioned at the cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer.
The oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises guides positioned oppositely on the side walls inside the oven cavity, suitable for placing the tray thereon and telescopic rails mounted detachably on the guides, facilitating loading of the tray to the oven.
The oven of the present invention comprises the telescopic rail that is mounted to one of the opposite guides positioned according to the cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer, just below the one whereon the tray is desired to be placed, enabling the tray to be placed in the desired cooking level. Thus, the user can perform the cooking process at the desired cooking level by using the telescopic rail.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the guide has an upper rod and a lower rod that extend parallel to the side wall, from the front towards the rear in the horizontal direction. By means of this structure of the guide, the tray can be carried on the lower rod in situations wherein the telescopic rail is not used. The upper rod functions as a barrier for preventing the tray from sliding upwards during loading or unloading. In this embodiment, the telescopic rail is mounted to the oven by means of a first element. The telescopic rail goes out of the casing by means of a second element. The second element moves by sliding on the first element.
In a derivative of this embodiment, the height of the telescopic rail is almost equal to the distance between the upper rod of the one close to the base, from the two guides arranged back to back in the vertical direction, and the lower rod of the other one.
In a derivative of this embodiment, a housing is arranged on the second element wherein the front corners of the tray are seated, providing the tray to safely remain on the telescopic rail. By means of the housing, when the oven is displaced, the tray is prevented from tilting inside the oven cavity and the ingredients therein from spilling.
In a derivative of this embodiment, a resting surface is situated on the second element which provides the tray to be positioned thereon. The rear corners of the tray are placed on the resting surface.
In a derivative of this embodiment, a stopper is disposed at the rear of the resting surface. By means of the stopper, the tray can be placed safely on the telescopic rail.
In a derivative of this embodiment, a connection member is situated on the telescopic rail that provides the telescopic rail to be mounted to the oven. The resilient structure of the connection member enables the telescopic rail to be easily mounted to/dismounted from the guide.
In a derivative of this embodiment, a handle is provided for performing operations of taking the telescopic rail out of the casing and pushing inwards of the oven cavity.
The oven of the present invention enables the user to load the tray placed on the telescopic rail in the desired cooking level aligning with one of the cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer and accordingly increasing customer satisfaction.
The model embodiments relating to an oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention are illustrated in the attached figures, where:

The oven (1) comprises an oven cavity (2) wherein the ingredients to be cooked are placed, a casing (5) that surrounds the oven cavity (2), configured as a box with front side open, having a base (3) and two side walls (4), more than one guide (6) situated oppositely on the side walls (4), positioned at different cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer, at least two telescopic rails (7) mounted on the two guides (6) whereon a tray (T) carrying the ingredients to be cooked is placed and which provide the tray (T) to be taken out of the casing (5) by being pulled in the horizontal direction.
The oven (1) of the present invention comprises the telescopic rail (7), which when mounted on the lower guide (6) from the two guides (6) at different cooking levels, provides the tray (T) placed thereon to be positioned at the level of the upper guide (6) (Figure 1, Figure 2).
When the user desires to use the oven (1) with the telescopic rail (7), he/she mounts at least one pair of telescopic rails (7) to the guides (6) located just below the opposite guides (6) that coincide with the cooking level whereat the tray (T) will be placed. The user provides the telescopic rails (7) to at least partially come out of the casing (5) by pulling the telescopic rails (7) forwards. The user pushes the telescopic rails (7) rearwards by placing the skirts located at the lateral sides of the tray (T) to the upper part of the telescopic rails (7). By means of the height of the telescopic rail (7), the upper side of the tray (T) becomes aligned the cooking level where the guide (6), which is the one above the guide (6) whereto the user places the telescopic rails (7), is positioned.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the oven (1) comprises the guide (6) having an upper rod (14) and a lower rod (15), extending parallel to the wall (4) and the base (3), from the front towards the back and suitable for placing the tray (T) therebetween, and furthermore the telescopic rail (7) having a first element (8) providing the telescopic rail (7) to be mounted to the guide (6) and a second element (9) moving on the first element (8) and whereon the tray (T) is carried. When the telescopic rail (7) is mounted to the upper rod (14), the tray (T) can be loaded on the lower rod (15) due to the configuration of the upper rod (14). Accordingly, two trays (T) can be carried on two consecutive guides (6), one situated on the telescopic rail (7) and the other on the lower rod (15) (Figure 3). By means of the modular structure of the telescopic rail (7), the user can easily load the tray (T) into the oven cavity (2) (Figure 4).
In a derivative of this embodiment, the telescopic rail (7) comprises the second element (9), the height of which is almost the same as the distance between the upper rod (14) of the lower one of the two consecutive guides (6), located on the same side wall (4), and the lower rod (15) of the upper one. In this embodiment, the tray (T) is mounted on the upper rod (14) of the guide (6) at the lower side.
In a derivative of this embodiment, the telescopic rail (7) comprises a U shaped housing (10) arranged on the second element (9), whereto the front part of the lateral side of the tray (T) is placed. By means of the skirts situated at the lateral sides of the tray (T) being seated into the housing (10), the tray (T) is fixed on the telescopic rail (7) and the tray (T) is prevented from overturning during loading/unloading or any kind of shaking. When the tray (T) is in wire grid form, the lateral side of the front wire is seated into the housing (10).
In a derivative of this embodiment, the telescopic rail (7) comprises a resting surface (11) situated on the second element (9), whereon the rear part of the lateral side of the tray (T) is seated. The skirts situated at the lateral sides of the tray (T) are supported on the telescopic rails (7) by means of the resting surface (11). When the tray (T) is in wire grid form, the lateral side of the rear wire is located on the resting surface (11).
In a derivative of this embodiment, the telescopic rail (7) comprises a stopper (12) situated on the second element (9), which prevents the tray (T) from getting out of the second element (9) while being placed on the second element (9). Consequently, the tray (T) is prevented from sliding over the telescopic rail (7) and falling into the oven cavity (2) during loading (Figure 5).
In a derivative of this embodiment, the telescopic rail (7) comprises a connection member (13) disposed on the first element (8) and providing the first element (8) to be mounted to the guide (6). By means of the connection member (13), the telescopic rail (7) can be detachably mounted on the guide (6) (Figure 5).
In a derivative of this embodiment, the telescopic rail (7) comprises a handle (16) disposed on the second element (9) and enabling pulling and pushing operations to be performed by the user (Figure 5). Thus, the user can easily load the tray (T) on the telescopic rail (7). When the cooking operation ends, the user can take the tray (T) out of the oven (1) by pulling the telescopic rail (7) from its handle (16).
By means of the oven (1) of the present invention, when using the telescopic rail (7), the user can load the tray (T) to align with the cooking level predetermined by the manufacturer. Consequently, the problems like burning, undercooking etc. originating from the tray (T) not being aligned with the cooking levels are eliminated.

Claims (8)

  1. An oven (1) comprising
    - an oven cavity (2) wherein the ingredients to be cooked are placed,
    - a casing (5) that surrounds the oven cavity (2), configured as a box with front side open, having a base (3) and two side walls (4),
    - more than one guide (6) situated oppositely on the side walls (4), positioned at different cooking levels predetermined by the manufacturer,
    - at least two telescopic rails (7) mounted on the two guides (6), whereon a tray (T) carrying the ingredients to be cooked is placed and which provides the tray (T) to be taken out of the casing (5) by being pulled in the horizontal direction,
    characterized in that
    - the telescopic rail (7), which, when mounted on the lower guide (6) from the two guides (6) at different cooking levels, provides the tray (T) placed thereon to be positioned at the level of the upper guide (6).
  2. A n oven (1) as in Claim 1, characterized in that the guide (6) having an upper rod (14) and a lower rod (15) extending parallel to the wall (4) and the base (3), from the front towards the back, suitable for placing the tray (T) therebetween, and by the telescopic rail (7) having a first element (8) providing the telescopic rail (7) to be mounted to the guide (6) and a second element (9) moving on the first element (8) and whereon the tray (T) is carried.
  3. An oven (1) as in Claim 2, characterized in that the telescopic rail (7) comprising the second element (9), the height of which is almost the same as the distance between the upper rod (14) of the lower one of the two consecutive guides (6) and the lower rod (15) of the upper one.
  4. An oven (1) as in any one of the Claims 2 or 3, characterized in that the telescopic rail (7) comprising a U-shaped housing (10) arranged on the second element (9), whereto the front part of the lateral side of the tray (T) is placed.
  5. An oven (1) as in any one of the Claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the telescopic rail (7) comprising a resting surface (11) situated on the second element (9), whereon the rear part of the lateral side of the tray (T) is placed.
  6. An oven (1) as in any one of the Claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the telescopic rail (7) comprising a stopper (12) that is situated on the second element (9) and that prevents the tray (T) from getting out of the second element (9) while being placed on the second element (9).
  7. An oven (1) as in any one of the Claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the telescopic rail (7) comprising a connection member (13) that is disposed on the first element (8) and that provides the first element (8) to be mounted to the guide (6).
  8. An oven (1) as in any one of the Claims 2 to 7, characterized in that the telescopic rail (7) comprising a handle (16) that is situated on the second element (9) and that enables pulling and pushing operations to be performed by the user.
