Abstract

La présente invention concerne une interface utilisateur de type à ondulation à utiliser dans un système d'affichage d'informations qui agence et affiche, dans un espace virtuel, des informations distribuées provenant de sources d'informations à l'aide d'un service de distribution d'informations. L'interface utilisateur de type à ondulation est mise en œuvre à l'aide d'un dispositif de positionnement d'informations (par exemple un serveur qui exécute un service de type à ondulation) et d'un dispositif d'affichage d'informations (par exemple un terminal d'informations dans lequel une application de type à ondulation a été installée). Le dispositif de positionnement d'informations associe des informations distribuées provenant de sources d'informations et génère des graphiques de type à ondulation présentant des tailles qui augmentent monotonement selon l'importance de la source d'informations et centre les graphiques de type à ondulation autour de positions écartées d'une position de référence dans l'espace virtuel (par exemple la position centrale d'un écran) de distances qui diminuent monotonement selon l'intensité de la relation entre l'utilisateur et la source d'informations. Le dispositif d'affichage d'informations affiche, sur un écran, des informations d'affichage montrant l'espace virtuel comportant les graphiques de type à ondulation auxquels sont associées les informations distribuées provenant des sources d'informations. Les graphiques de type à ondulation peuvent être affichés selon une forme, un angle ou une couleur prescrit à une position corrélée avec un symbole d'utilisateur (par exemple, une icône) et les graphiques de type à ondulation peuvent être étendus à une vitesse prescrite ou supprimés de l'écran après l'expiration d'une période de suppression prescrite.
