本发明所要解决的技术问题在于, 提供一种连接器, 减小了连接器的壁厚, 使连接器更轻薄, 能够应用在较小空间背光模组的设计中, 为模组设计提供更 多的空间。

本发明实施例提供了一种连接器, 包括: 公头壳体 1和母头壳体 2, 其中, 公头壳体 1是由三侧侧壁围挡在底壁周围而成, 母头壳体 2是由三侧侧壁围挡 在底壁周围而成;
公头壳体 1与母头壳体 2适配插接。
公头壳体 1和母头壳体 2都是由三侧侧壁围挡而成, 相对于传统结构的线 材连接器, 由于各减少了一个侧壁, 降低了公头壳体 1和母头壳体 2的厚度, 实现了连接器的薄型化。 以下具体说明本发明连接器的结构及使用方式。
参见图 1 ,公头壳体 1是由三侧侧壁围挡在底壁周围而成的中空的插腔结构。 其中, 三侧侧壁依次是高度设置相等的第一侧壁 11a, 分别垂直接连在第一侧壁 11a两端部的侧壁 l ib和 11c, 该两侧壁 l ib和 11c位置相对且设置平行。
上述的侧壁 lla、 lib和 11c垂直围挡在底壁 12上形成了公头壳体 1。
公头壳体 1具有顶开口端和侧开口端, 其中, 与底壁 12位置相对的为顶开 口端, 与第一侧壁 11a位置相对的为侧开口端, 该侧开口端的端缘与第一侧壁 11a所在的平面平行。
如图 2所示, 母头壳体 2也是由三侧侧壁围挡在底壁周围而成的中空的腔 体结构, 母头壳体 2的体积略小于公头壳体 1的体积, 使其能够插置在公头壳 体 1腔体中。 母头壳体 2的三侧侧壁依次是高度设置相等的第二侧壁 21a, 分别 垂直接连在第二侧壁 21a两端部的侧壁 21b和 21c, 该两侧壁 21b和 21c位置相 对且设置平行。
上述的侧壁 21a、 21b和 21c垂直围挡在底壁 22上形成了母头壳体 2。
母头壳体 2也具有顶开口端和侧开口端, 其中, 与底壁 22位置相对的为顶 开口端, 与第二侧壁 21a位置相对的为侧开口端, 该侧开口端的端缘与第二侧 壁 21a所在的平面平行。
公头壳体 1与母头壳体 2能够适配插接是指: 母头壳体 2能够通过插置安 装完全容纳在公头壳体 1的腔体中, 并实现腔室中相应串口的连接。
两壳体实现可靠连接是通过如下结构实施的: 在母头壳体 2 的两相对侧壁 21b和 21c上分别设置多个卡勾 3 (图示为两个), 而在公头壳体 1的两相对侧 壁 lib和 11c上设置与卡勾 3位置相对应的卡槽 4 (图示为两个)。 当公头壳体 1 与母头壳体 2适配插接时, 卡勾 3能够完全卡持在卡槽 4中将母头壳体 2固定 在公头壳体 1中。
在实施上述插置连接的过程中, 公头壳体 1与母头壳体 2各自具有的侧开 口端是保持相向进行操作的, 当装配完成后, 卡勾 3卡持在卡槽 4中, 母头壳 体 2的侧开口端的端缘完全抵顶在公头壳体 1的第一侧壁 11a上, 母头壳体 2 的顶开口端的端缘完全抵顶在公头壳体 1的底壁 12上, 而公头壳体 1的侧开口 端的端缘与第二侧壁 21a齐平, 公头壳体 1的顶开口端的端缘与母头壳体 的 底壁 22齐平。 这样, 装配完成后的连接器在高度方向上只有两个壁厚, 既第一 侧壁 11a和第二侧壁 21a, 实现了连接器更轻薄的目的, 能够在较小空间背光模 组的设计中进行应用。

的开设的位置对调; 也可使用常见的连接, 如过盈配合的方式实现两壳体的可 靠连接。
实施本发明的连接器, 由于公头壳体和母头壳体分别由三侧侧壁围挡在底 壁周围而成, 在公头壳体与所述母头壳体适配插接后, 连接器在高度方向上仅 存在两个壁面, 减小了连接器的壁厚, 使连接器更轻薄, 能够在较小空间背光 模组的设计中进行应用, 为模组设计提供更多的空间。
Claims
1、 一种连接器, 包括: 公头壳体和母头壳体, 其中,
所述公头壳体是由三侧侧壁围挡在底壁周围而成, 所述母头壳体是由三侧 侧壁围挡在底壁周围而成;
所述公头壳体与所述母头壳体适配插接。
2、 如权利要求 1所述的连接器, 其中, 在所述母头壳体的两相对侧壁上设 置卡勾, 在所述公头壳体的两相对侧壁上设置与所述卡勾位置相对应的卡槽。
3、 如权利要求 2所述的连接器, 其中, 所述公头壳体通过所述卡勾和所述 卡槽的适配卡持与所述母头壳体连接。
4、 如权利要求 1所述的连接器, 其中, 当所述公头壳体与所述母头壳体适 配插接时, 所述母头壳体的侧开口端的端缘抵顶在所述公头壳体的第一侧壁上, 所述第一侧壁的位置与所述公头壳体的侧开口端的位置相对。
5、 如权利要求 4所述的连接器, 其中, 在与所述第一侧壁相邻的侧壁上设 置卡槽。
6、 如权利要求 1所述的连接器, 其中, 所述母头壳体具有第二侧壁, 所述 第二侧壁与所述母头壳体的侧开口端位置相对;
