  • This grid is arranged between the subject and the X-ray image detection apparatus, preferably just before the X-ray image detection apparatus.
  • the grid includes a moving grid that swings during X-ray imaging and a stationary grid that is stationary. Below, when it is not necessary to distinguish these, it is simply called a grid.
  • the grid has, for example, a structure in which strip-shaped X-ray transmission layers and X-ray absorption layers extending in the pixel column direction are alternately and repeatedly arranged along the pixel row direction. Since the X-ray absorption layer absorbs X-rays transmitted through the subject, the image quality of the captured X-ray image deteriorates if the width is wide. Therefore, in general, the width of the X-ray absorption layer is, for example, about 1/5 to 1/3 of the width of the X-ray transmission layer.
  • each measurement pixel Need to be calibrated.
  • This calibration method of the measurement value is described in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-166724.
  • X-ray imaging is performed when a grid is used and when a grid is not used without placing a subject. From the two images thus obtained, the output signal of the measurement pixel (referred to as AEC pixel in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-166724) is the same when the grid is used and when it is not used.

  • the width of the X-ray absorption layer is about 50 ⁇ m to 100 ⁇ m. Since the overlap with the X-ray absorption layer changes, the output signal varies greatly.
  • M or () can be placed on any measurement pixel according to the relationship between the grid pitch and the measurement pixel size.
  • the smaller the number M the greater the fluctuation range of the output signal of the measurement pixel.
  • the number M is a relatively small value. Therefore, the output signal of the measurement pixel is particularly susceptible to the influence of the X-ray absorption layer, and the relative position between the grid and the measurement pixel. The problem of the measurement accuracy of the X-ray dose when there is a deviation appears.
  • the influence of the X-ray absorption layer can be obtained from an image obtained by photographing a moving grid or a stationary grid while the subject is not present. According to the experiments of the present inventors, when the pixel value having a large pixel value is compared with the pixel having a small pixel value due to the influence of the X-ray absorption layer in the vicinity thereof, the influence of the X-ray absorption layer is It is known that the received pixel value drops about 20% in a certain grid.

Furthermore, considering the case where X-rays are incident obliquely on the imaging region, it is necessary to prepare a large number of images for calibration, which is difficult in practice. Therefore, even if a relative position between the measurement pixel (generally a dose measurement sensor) and the grid is shifted, the X-ray dose can be measured easily and accurately without using a large number of calibration images. Description

 fG=1/G:グリッド周波数、

検査オーダには、頭部、胸部、腹部等の撮影部位、正面、側面、斜位、PA(X線を被写体Hの背面から照射)、AP(X線を被写体Hの正面から照射)等の撮影方向が含まれる。
周知のように、シンチレータは、CsI:Tl(タリウム賦活ヨウ化セシウム)やGOS(GdS:Tb、テルビウム賦活ガドリウムオキシサルファイド)等からなり、画素40が配列された撮像領域41の全面と対面するように配置されている。なお、シンチレータとTFTアクティブマトリクス基板は、X線の入射する側からみてシンチレータ、基板の順に配置されるPSS(Penetration Side Sampling)方式でもよいし、逆に基板、シンチレータの順に配置されるISS(Irradiation Side sampling)方式でもよい。
 C={(1/fGN)/Δ}×i
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000005
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000006
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000007
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000008
 W=lcm(C、Z)
 W=lcm(C、Z)≧(Q+1)Z・・・(3)

 上記実施形態では、TFT型の画像検出部を例示しているが、CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)型の画像検出部を用いてもよい。
