흡음성능이 향상된 흡음시트 및 그의 제조방법
흡음성능이 향상된 흡음시트 및 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
최근 생활수준 향상과 더불어 쾌적한 문화생활이 점차 요구되면서 건축 음향 설계의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 실내에서 발생되는 각종 소음을 흡음시켜 실내의 소음을 억제시키도록 흡음성을 갖는 방음패널이 건축 내장재로 사용되며, 나아가 자동차시트 내외장용 등의 방음이 필요한 분야에서 흡음시트 및 이를 포함하는 흡음패널이 다양하게 사용되고 있다.
또한, 통상의 흡음시트는 소음을 최소화 해야 하는 특성상 통기성 및 흡음력을 갖추어야 하고 통기성이 우수해야 흡음 효과가 극대화 되야 하는바, 소음을 차단하기 위한 많은 타공이 필요할 수 있다.
대한민국 등록특허 제10-0753960호는 열가소성 수지섬유 및 천연섬유를 혼합하여 매트를 형성하고, 다수개의 타공플레이트로 이루어진 컨베이어 벨트를 구비하여 타공을 형성하는 강도 및 흡음/단열성능이 우수한 자동차 내장재용 적층시트를 제공하기는 하나, 타공이 형성된 적층시트의 성능향상과 관련된 내용 등은 개시되어 있지 않다.
본 발명의 일 구현예는 마이크로 공명층을 포함하는 흡음성능이 향상된 흡음시트를 제공한다.
본 발명의 다른 구현예는 상기 흡음시트를 제조하는 방법을 제공한다.
본 발명의 일 구현예에서, 다공성 기재; 및 인쇄방식에 의해 형성된 마이크로 공명층을 포함하는 흡음시트를 제공한다.
상기 마이크로 공명층은 양면을 관통하는 다수의 흡음공을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 마이크로 공명층은 염화비닐 졸, 우레탄계 수지, 아크릴계 수지, 비닐계 수지 중에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 다공성 기재는 유리섬유, 셀룰로오스 섬유, 펄프, 유기합성섬유 중에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.

본 발명의 다른 구현예에서, 다공성 기재를 마련하는 단계; 상기 다공성 기재 상부에 인쇄방식에 의해 마이크로 공명층을 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 마이크로 공명층을 건조하는 단계;를 포함하는 흡음시트 제조방법을 제공한다.
상기 인쇄방식은 로터리-스크린 인쇄방식을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 로터리-스크린 인쇄방법은 로터리 스크린 롤에 마이크로 공명층을 형성하기 위한 조성물을 주입하여 수행되고, 상기 로터리 스크린 롤은 마이크로 흡음망을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 마이크로 흡음망은 주파수 대역별로 흡음공의 직경, 단위면적 대비 흡음공이 차지하는 비율 또는 흡음공과 흡음공 사이의 간격 조절을 가능하게 할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일실시예에 따르면, 주파수 대역별로 다양한 마이크로 공명층을 포함한 흡음시트의 설계가 가능하고, 높은 NRC(Noise Reduction Coefficient) 성능을 구현할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 일실시예에 따르면, 마이크로 공명층을 포함하는 흡음시트를 형성함으로써 연속적인 생산이 가능하고, 획기적인 비용절감이 가능하다.

이하, 본 발명의 구현예를 상세히 설명하기로 한다. 다만, 이는 예시로서 제시되는 것으로, 이에 의해 본 발명이 제한되지는 않으며 본 발명은 후술할 청구항의 범주에 의해 정의될 뿐이다.
흡음시트
본 발명의 일 실시예는 다공성 기재; 및 인쇄방식에 의해 형성된 마이크로 공명층을 포함하는 흡음시트를 제공한다.
도 1을 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예인 흡음시트(100)는 다공성 기재(10), 인쇄방식에 의해 형성된 마이크로 공명층(20)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 마이크로 공명층(20)은 양면을 관통하는 다수의 흡음공(21)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 다공성 기재(10)는 기재자체의 다공성 구조에 따라 상대적으로 고주파수 대역 흡음특성에 영향을 미칠 수 있고, 흡음재의 흡음 성능을 유지할 수 있다. 상기 다공성 기재(10)는 유리섬유, 셀룰로오스 섬유, 펄프, 유기합성섬유 중에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 유리섬유는 SiO2를 주성분으로 하는 유리를 용융, 가공하여 섬유 모양으로 가공한 것으로서, 제법 및 용도에 따라 장섬유와 단섬유로 나눈다. 섬유의 지름은 가늘수록 인장강도 및 열전도율 면에서 우수하다. 보온/흡음용으로는 약 5㎛ 내지 약 20㎛의 것, 여과용으로는 약 40㎛ 내지 약 150㎛의 것이 주로 사용된다.
상기 셀룰로오스 섬유는 통상 천연섬유와 이를 원료로 만든 섬유로서, 이들의 대표적인 예로는 목섬유, 면섬유, 마섬유, 레이온 등이 있다. 셀룰로오스 섬유는 통상 사 직물 또는 편물의 형태를 이룬다. 또한 셀룰로오스 섬유는 다른 합성섬유와 함께 혼합되어 사용되기도 한다. 폴리에스테르와 같은 합성섬유와 함께 사용될 수 있다. 상기 셀룰로오스 섬유에 합성섬유를 혼합한 즉 셀룰로오스 섬유를 함유하는 섬유 제품으로는 이들의 혼방사, 혼방직물, 교직 또는 교편물의 형태로 존재한다.
상기 펄프는 목재나 그 밖의 섬유 식물에서 기계적, 화학적 또는 그 중간방법에 의하여 얻는 셀룰로로스 섬유의 집합체로써, 상기 기재는 상기 펄프를 압축하고 붙여 만들어 질 수 있다. 상기 유기합성섬유는 폴리에스테르, 폴리에틸렌(PE), 폴리프로필렌(PP), 에틸렌-스티렌 공중합체(ES), 싸이클로올레핀, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트(PET), 폴리비닐알콜(PVA), 에틸렌-비닐-아세테이트(EVA), 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트 (PEN), 폴리에테르에테르케톤(PEEK), 폴리카보네이트 (PC), 폴리설폰, 폴리이미드(PI), 폴리아크릴로니트릴(PAN), 스티렌아크릴로니트릴(SAN), 폴리우레탄(PU) 중에서 선택될 수 있고, 구체적으로, 폴리비닐알콜(PVA) 등으로 구성될 수 있다.
보다 구체적으로, 상기 다공성 기재는 유리 섬유(Glass Fiber)와 펄프가 혼합되어 종이 상태로 만들어진 것을 포함할 수 있고, 시판 제품의 예로는 한국카본의 GP-50G (평량은 50g/m2기준이며, 필요에 따라 조정가능) 등을 들 수 있으나 이에 제한되지 않는다.
상기 다공성 기재(10)의 평량은 약 30g/m2 내지 약 500g/m2일 수 있다. 평랑은 단위면적(1m2)당 상기 다공성 기재의 질량(g)을 의미하는바, 상기 다공성 기재(10)가 상기 범위의 평량을 유지함으로써 흡음성능을 유지할 수 있고, 지나친 무게 증가로 인해 제품화가 어려워 지거나, 제조원가가 지나치게 상승할 우려가 없다. 이 때 상기 다공성 기재(10)는 약 0.1mm 내지 약 7mm의 두께를 가질 수 있고, 상기의 두께를 유지함으로써 다공성 기재로의 유효성분 유지량이 저하되거나 사용성이 떨어지고, 제품화에 어려워질 우려가 없다.
상기 다공성 기재(10)의 평균 기공도(Pore size)는 약 10㎛ 내지 약 60㎛이고, 나아가 상기 다공성 기재(10)의 공기 투과도는 50Pa 압력에서 약 50L/m2/s 내지 약 1200L/m2/s 일 수 있다. 통상적으로, 다공성 기재의 공기 투과도가 낮아 단열효과나 흡음효과가 제대로 발휘되지 않을 수 있다.
그러므로, 상기 다공성 기재의 평균 기공도 및 공기 투과도가 상기 범위를 유지함으로써 흡음성능을 확보할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 다공성 기재(10)의 공기 투과도가 상대적으로 낮은 값의 범위에서 고주파수 대역의 흡음성능이 우수하고, 상기 다공성 기재(10)의 공기 투과도가 상대적으로 높은 값의 범위에서 저주파수 대역의 흡음성능에 유리한 특성을 보이는바, 설계 주파수 대역에 따라 다공성 기재의 공기 투과도 및 평균 기공도를 조절할 수 있다.
상기 마이크로 공명층(20)은 인쇄방식에 의해 형성될 수 있는바, 상기 다공성 기재(10)상에 형성될 수 있고, 상기 마이크로 공명층을 포함함으로써 소음을 효율적으로 저감시켜 주기 위한 공명기 구조를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 마이크로 공명층은 공명기 구조를 유지하기 위해 양면을 관통하는 다수의 흡음공(21)을 포함할 수 있다. 이 때, 상기 다수의 흡음공을 포함함으로써 상기 흡음시트는 방음의 기능을 가질 뿐만 아니라 내부에서 발생되는 소리를 흡수함으로써 울림을 방지하는 부가적인 기능을 수행할 수 있다.
통상의 마이크로 공명층은 펀칭, 드릴링, 레이저, 에칭 등의 타공방식에 의하여 형성된 타공을 포함할 수 있다. 그러나 상기 타공방식에 의한 타공형성시 마이크로 공명층의 구김 및 찢김 현상이 일어 날 수 있으며, 결과적으로 흡음시트의 흡음성능이 약화될 수 있었다.
이에 반해, 상기 마이크로 공명층(20)은 인쇄방식에 의하여 형성되고, 이때 양면을 관통하는 다수의 흡음공(21)을 포함할 수 있는 바, 타공크기 및 타공비율 등에 제한이 있었던 종래 방식과 달리 주파수 대역별로 흡음공의 직경, 단위면적 대비 흡음공이 차지하는 비율 및 흡음공과 흡음공 사이의 간격 조절이 가능할 수 있다. 또한, 인쇄방식에 의해 다수의 흡음공(21)을 포함하는 마이크로 공명층(20)의 연속적인 생산이 가능하면, 결과적으로 흡음시트 또는 흡음패널 등의 제품생산에 있어서 비용절감이 가능하다.
구체적으로, 다공성 기재(10) 상부에 PVC졸 등의 마이크로 공명층을 형성하기 위한 조성물이 적층되는 로터리 인쇄방식에 의해 마이크로 공명층을 형성함으로써, 종래의 흡음시트 생성에 있어서 다공성 기재와 타공이 형성된 마이크로 공명층을 접착하는 단계를 생략할 수 있다.
보다 구체적으로, 종래의 마이크로 공명층의 형성은 펀칭, 드릴링, 레이저, 에칭 등의 타공방식에 의하는바 넓은 타공 직경과 낮은 타공율을 가진 마이크로 공명층만을 구현할 수 있었다. 그러나, 전술한 바와 같이 마이크로 공명층이 인쇄방식에 의해 형성됨으로써, 보다 작은 흡음공 직경, 보다 큰 단위면적 대비 흡음공이 차지하는 비율을 가지게 되는바 최소비용으로 최대의 공명기 구조를 가지는 마이크로 공명층을 구현할 수 있다.
상기 마이크로 공명층은 가능한 거의 모든 종류의 폴리머를 사용할 수 있는바, 열에 의해 가교반응이 일어나는 열가소성 소재로 이루어질 수 있고, 발포체를 포함함으로써 상기 마이크로 공명층을 발포체로 형성할 수 있다. 경우에 따라, 가소제, 안정제, 필러, 경화촉매, 가교제, 바인더, 난연제 등이 더욱 포함될 수 있다. 상기 열가소성 수지의 구체적인 예로 염화비닐 졸, 우레탄계 수지, 아크릴계 수지, 비닐계 수지 중에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들어, 상기 다수의 흡음공은 패턴화될 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 패턴화된 다수의 흡음공이 형성된 상기 마이크로 공명층은 양각 패턴 무늬가 형상화될 수 있다. 이때, 상기 양각패턴은 다각형, 원, 타원 및 이들의 조합에서 선택된 형상이 배열되어 형성된 것으로 반드시 원형일 필요는 없다. 또한, 상기 양각패턴은 줄무늬 패턴을 포함할 수 있고, 나아가 상기 다각형, 원 타원 및 이들의 조합에서 선택된 형상이 연속적으로 연결될 수 있다.
상기 흡음시트(100)는 양각 패턴 무늬가 형상화된 마이크로 공명층(20)이 다공성 기재(10)의 표면에 형성되어 있어 흡음시트 및 흡음재의 표면에 다양한 미감을 부여할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 인쇄방식에 의하여 상기 다수의 흡음공(21)이 형성되는바, 일정한 공기 투과도 및 흡음률을 유지하면서 방염성능을 확보할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
상기 양각패턴 무늬가 다양하게 형상화 된 것과 대비하여 상기 흡음공(21)은 다각형, 원, 타원 및 이들의 조합에서 선택된 형상일 수 있으나, 이에 제한된 것은 아니다. 상기 양각패턴 무늬의 형상에 따라 흡음공의 형상도 다양화 될 수 있고, 흡음공이 줄무늬의 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상기 흡음공(21)의 평균 직경은 약 0.1mm 내지 약 20mm일 수 있다. 상기 평균 직경은 양면을 관통하는 형상의 평균 직경을 일컫는바, 흡음공의 형상에 제한이 있는 것은 아니다. 상기 마이크로 공명층이 포함하는 상기 양각 패턴에 따라 상기 흡음공의 형상은 달라질 수 있는바, 흡음공의 평균 직경에 있어서, 상기 흡음공의 평면형상이 원형인 경우는 원의 직경, 상기 흡음공의 평면현상이 정사각형일 경우 한 변의 길이, 상기 흡음공의 평면현상이 직사각형일 경우 대각선의 길이, 상기 흡음공의 평면형상이 줄무늬(Stripe)형인 경우 하나의 줄무늬의 폭을 의미할 수 있다.
상기 흡음공(21)의 단위면적 대비 차지하는 비율은 약 1% 내지 약 60% 일 수 있다. 상기 비율은 단위면적 내 흡음공이 차지하는 면적, 구체적으로는 양면이 관통되어 다수의 흡음공이 형성된 면적을 단위면적으로 나눈 것을 나타내는바, 상기 범위의 흡음공 차지 비율을 유지함으로써, 상기 흡음공을 포함하는 마이크로 공명층이 저주파수 및 고주파수 대역에서의 흡음성능을 모두 향상시킬 수 있다.
또한, 상기 흡음공(21)과 흡음공(21) 사이의 간격은 약 0.5mm 내지 약 50mm일 수 있다. 상기 흡음공과 흡음공 사이의 간격은 피치간격이라고도 하며, 상기 흡음공 형상에 제한 없이 하나의 형상 중심에서 가장 가까운 형상 중심까지의 거리를 일컫는바, 상기 범위 내에서의 흡음공 사이의 간격을 유지함으로써, 상기 흡음공을 포함하는 마이크로 공명층이 저주파수 및 고주파수 대역에서의 흡음성능을 모두 향상시킬 수 있다.
본 발명의 일실시예인 흡음시트(100)는 다공성 기재 및 양면을 관통하는 다수의 흡음공이 형성된 마이크로 공명층을 포함하는바, 상기 흡음시트는 약 200Hz 내지 약 2000Hz 주파수 범위에서 평균 흡음률 측정값이 0.4이상인 흡음성능을 가진다.
흡음률은 0과 1사이에 있는 것으로 1에 가까울수록 흡음능력이 좋은 것으로 통상의 흡음재의 경우 약 0.3정도이며, 약 0.4이상인 경우 흡음능력이 뛰어나다 할 수 있다. 보통 몇 개의 주파수를 기준으로 흡음계수를 만들고 이때의 흡음 계수를 평균 낸 것을 평균 흡음률이라 하며, 상기 흡음시트는 평균 흡음률을 약 0.4이상 값을 나타내는바, 흡음성능이 상당히 우수함을 알 수 있다.
상기 흡음시트(100)의 공기 투과도는 100Pa 압력에서 약 50 L/m2/s 내지 약 1200L/m2/s 일 수 있다. 이때, 100Pa 압력에서, 흡음시트의 공기 투과도가 상기 범위를 유지함으로써 일정한 공극률(Porosity)을 확보하면서 흡음성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 흡음시트의 공기 투과도가 100Pa 압력에서 약 50 L/m2/s미만인 경우 약 1800Hz 이상의 주파수 범위에서 흡음성을 나쁘게 할 수 있고, 약 1200L/m2/s를 초과하는 경우 약1600Hz이하의 주파수 범위에서 흡음성을 나쁘게 할 수 있어, 마이크로 다공층을 포함하는 상기 흡음시트는 상기 공기 투과도의 범위를 유지함으로써 흡음성을 현저히 개선할 수 있다
상기 흡음시트는 음향 및 소음을 흡수하기 위해 다수의 상이한 분야들에서 사용되는바, 건축설계 및 실내에 기능성 흡음패널로써 사용될 수 있고, 자동자 내외장용, 구체적으로 자동차의 엔질실로부터의 음향 및 소음을 흡수하는데 사용할 수 있다. 나아가 전기 및 전자장비에 사용될 수 있고, 흡음시트의 중량 및 비용은 두께가 증가함에 의해 커지는바, 흡음시트가 적용되는 장비 또는 제품의 크기 감소 및 비용절감을 목적으로 두께 및 중량 등을 적절히 조절하여 사용할 수 있다.
흡음시트 제조방법
본 발명의 다른 실시예는 다공성 기재를 마련하는 단계; 상기 다공성 기재 상부에 인쇄방식에 의해 마이크로 공명층을 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 마이크로 공명층을 건조하는 단계;를 포함하는 흡음시트 제조방법을 제공한다.
통상의 경우, 흡음시트에 흡음공을 형성하기 위해 다수개의 타공플레이트로 이루어진 컨베이어 벨트를 구비하거나, 연속적인 펀칭, 드릴링, 나아가 레이저링, 에칭에 의해 타공을 형성하는바, 형성되는 타공의 직경, 타공율, 타공간격에 상당한 제한이 있었다. 또한, 공명층을 포함하는 흡음시트의 제조에 있어서도 형성되는 타공의 개수당 증가하는 비용에 의해 제조공정상에 효율성이 떨어질 수 있었다.
그러나, 상기 마이크로 공명층은 인쇄방식에 의해서 형성될 수 있는바, 상기 인쇄방식은 로터리 스크린 인쇄방식을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 로터리 스크린 인쇄방식은 제조공정이 간단하고 용이하여 생산비용을 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 흡음공의 직경을 최소화하고, 이로 인하여 단위면적 대비 흡음공이 차지하는 비율이 극대화 됨으로써, 마이크로 공명층이 우수한 공명기 구조를 가지게 되어 흡음 및 방음효과를 확보할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 로터리 스크린 인쇄방식을 사용하여 생산속도가 20m/min이상을 유지함으로써 상기 흡음시트의 대량생산이 가능하며, 이로 인하여 흡음시트의 흡음성능을 향상 시킬 수 있다.
도 2를 참고하면, 상기 로터리-스크린 인쇄방식이 간략하게 도시되어 있다. 상기 로터리-스크린 인쇄방식은 로터리 스크린 롤에 마이크로 공명층을 형성하기 위한 조성물을 주입하고, 상기 로터리 스크린 롤은 마이크로 흡음망을 포함할 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로, 백롤(Back Roll)과 로터리 스크린 롤 사이에 다공성 기재를 통과시키고 로터리 스크린 방식에 의해 상기 다공성 기재 상부에 상기 조성물을 부여하는 방식에 의하는 바, 상기 마이크로 공명층은 자연스럽게 양면을 통과하는 다수의 흡음공을 포함하는 공명기 구조를 가질 수 있다.
상기 마이크로 흡음망에 의하여 다공성 기재 상부에 형성되는 흡음공을 조절할 수 있는바, 구체적으로 상기 마이크로 흡음망은 주파수 대역별로 흡음공의 직경, 단위면적 대비 흡음공이 차지하는 비율 또는 흡음공과 흡음공 사이의 간격의 조절이 가능할 수 있다.
이 때, 상기 마이크로 공명층은 전술한 바와 같이 염화비닐 졸, 우레탄계 수지, 아크릴계 수지, 비닐계 수지 중에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있는바, 상기 마이크로 공명층을 형성하기 위한 조성물도 이를 포함할 수 있다.
이하에서는 본 발명의 구체적인 실시예들을 제시한다. 다만, 하기에 기재된 실시예들은 본 발명을 구체적으로 예시하거나 설명하기 위한 것에 불과하며, 이로서 본 발명이 제한되어서는 아니된다.
실시예1
섬유직경이 약 5㎛ 내지 약 20㎛, 섬유길이가 약 1mm 내지 약 50mm인 유리섬유 40%, 펄프 55% 및 PET섬유 5%가 혼합되어 종이상태로 만들어지고, 평량이 80g/m2인 유리페이퍼를 다공성 기재로 하고, 상기 다공성 기재 상부에 로터리 스크린 방식에 의하여 마이크로 공명층을 형성하였다. 이때, PVC 졸이 주입된 로터리 스크린 롤과 백롤(Back roll)사이에 상기 다공성 기재를 통과시키고, 상기 PVC졸이 로터리 스크린이 포함하는 마이크로 흡음망을 거침으로써 상기 다공성 기재 상부에 양면을 관통하는 다수의 흡음공이 형성된 마이크로 공명층이 인쇄되어 흡음시트를 제조하였다. 구체적으로, 상기 흡음공의 직경은 0.5mm, 상기 흡음공이 차지하는 비율은 20%로 조절되었다.
실시예2
상기 실시예 1에서 마이크로 공명층이 포함하는 흡음공의 직경을 1.5mm, 상기 흡음공이 차지하는 비율은 25%로 조절하는 것을 제외하고는 상기 실시예 1과 같이 흡음시트를 제조하였다.
실시예3
상기 실시예 1에서 마이크로 공명층이 포함하는 흡음공의 직경을 2.0mm, 상기 흡음공이 차지하는 비율은 30%로 조절하는 것을 제외하고는 상기 실시예 1과 같이 흡음시트를 제조하였다.
실시예4
상기 실시예 1에서 마이크로 공명층이 포함하는 흡음공의 직경을 1mm, 상기 흡음공이 차지하는 비율은 35%로 조절하는 것을 제외하고는 상기 실시예 1과 같이 흡음시트를 제조하였다.
비교예1
다공성 기재인 PET 섬유를 절단한 후 혼합하여, 니들펀칭공정을 수행한 후 성형 롤러를 통과시켜 시트를 제조하고, 상기 시트를 열성형한 후, 냉각, 트립과정을 거쳐 두께가 4mm인 PET 섬유 흡음시트를 제조하였다.
비교예2
상기 비교예 1에서 유리섬유를 사용한 것을 제외하고 비교예 1과 동일하게 두께가 0.3mm인 유리 섬유 흡음시트를 제조하였다.
비교예3
두께가 2mm인 아크릴판에 펀칭에 의해 형성된 타공(평균 직경 0.5mm, 타공율 2%)을 포함하는 아크릴 흡음시트를 제조하였다.
비교예4
다공성 목재 상부에 두께가 0.3mm인 무늬목이 적층되어 있고, 상기 무늬목에 드릴링에 의해 형성된 타공(평균 직경 0.5mm, 타공율 2%)을 포함하고 있는 MDF 흡음판넬을 사용하였다.
비교예5
15mm의 두께로 허니컴 구조를 가진 플라스틱 상부, 하부에 두께가 2mm인 아크릴판이 적층되어 있고, 상기 아크릴판은 레이저 투과에 의해 형성된 타공(평균 직경 0.5mm, 타공율 2%)을 포함하고 있는 아크릴 흡음판넬을 사용하였다.

<실험예> - 흡음시트의 평균 흡음률 측정
Ⅰ. 시험방법
1. 시험법 : 관내법(KS F 2814)
2. 측정 장비 (장비명 : 모델명(제조회사/제조국))
관내법 : HM-02 I/O(Scein/S.KOREA)
3. 측정 온/습도 : (19.4 오차범위 0.3)℃/(59.4 오차범위 1.9)% R.H
상기 관내법은 흡음물질의 흡음율을 측정하는 방법으로서 일정한 방향에서 평면파가 수직으로 입사될 때 정재파를 측정하여 구하는 것이다. 또한 시편을 확보
하기 어려울 때 시도할 수 있는 간이방법으로 시편의 크기를 정확히 제작한 후 반
복시험하여 측정오차를 최소화한 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 본 실험예에서 배후공간을 50mm로 하여 진동수 대비 주파수를 측정하였다.

여기서, NRC(Noise Reduction Coefficient)라 함은 흡음재의 흡음률은 각 주파수마다 다르므로 어떤 재료의 흡음성능을 말할 때 그 재료를 대표하는 흡음률의 단일지수가 필요한데, 이와 같이 어떤 재료의 흡음률을 하나의 단일지수로 표현한 것을 NRC라고 한다.

상기 표 3은 실시예 및 비교예 다공성 기재의 공기 투과도(KS K 0570:2006 시험방법) 및 평균 Pore Size(Capillary Flow Porometer/Model: CFP-1200 AEIL), 흡음시트의 공기 투과도(KS K 0570:2006 시험방법)에 따른 평균흡음률을 측정한 결과이다.
그 결과 상기 다공성 기재의 섬유 구성이 실시예 1 내지 4와 같은 경우 흡음시트의 공기 투과도가 100Pa의 압력에서 약 50L/m2/s 내지 약 1000 L/m2/s의 범위를 갖고, 200~2000Hz 주파수 범위에서 흡음시트의 평균 흡음률이 0.4이상, 구체적으로 0.6이상을 가지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
이와 반대로, 비교예 1 및 2의 경우 실시예 1 내지 4와 상이한 구성의 다공성 기재로 흡음시트를 형성하였고, 마이크로 공명층도 별도로 포함하지 아니하였는바, 100Pa의 압력에서 흡음시트의 공기 투과도를 측정하기에는 어려움이 있었으며 200~2000Hz 주파수 범위에서 흡음시트의 평균 흡음률이 0.4미만인 것으로 측정되었다. 나아가 비교예3의 경우 다공성 기재 없이 마이크로 공명층만을 포함하는 흡음시트인바, 흡음시트의 공기 투과도가 100Pa의 압력에서 50 L/m2/s미만으로, 평균 흡음률이 0.4미만으로 측정되었는바, 다공성 기재 없이 마이크로 공명층만으로는 흡음시트의 공기투과도 및 흡음률을 확보할 수 없음을 알 수 있었다.
그러나, 비교예 4 및 5의 경우, 실시예 1 내지 4와 같은 다공성 기재 상부에 마이크로 공명층을 별도로 포함하기는 하였으나, 마이크로 공명층이 로터리 스크린 방식에 의해 형성되지 아니하고, 종래의 타공방식인 드릴링, 펀칭 및 레이저 방법에 의해서 형성되었는바, 제조공정상에서도 생산속도가 실시예보다 느렸으며, 평균 흡음률의 실험결과도 0.4미만으로 측정되었는바, 인쇄방식인, 로터리 스크린 방식에 의하여 마이크로 공명층을 형성하는 것이 흡음성능 확보에 가장 유리함을 알 수 있었다.
또한, 비교예 3 내지 5에서 사용된 흡음판넬이 포함하는 타공은 타공 직경이 0.5mm이고 타공율이 2%인바, 같은 단위면적에 있어서 실시예에 비해 적은 타공의 수를 가지고 있는바, 이로 인해 비교예의 타공형성에 사용한 펀칭, 드릴링 또는 레이저 등의 타공방식에 비해 실시예 1 내지 4에서 사용한 로터리 스크린 인쇄방식이 단위 면적 대비 보다 작은 흡음공 직경 및 보다 큰 타공율을 가지게 됨을 유추할 수 있다.
결과적으로, 상기 실험예를 통하여 흡음시트는 다공성 기재의 구성성분 및 마이크로 공명층의 유/무에 의하여 공기 투과도 및 흡음성능에 영향을 미침을 확인하였고, 흡음시트 또는 흡음판넬이 다수의 흡음공(타공)을 포함하는 마이크로 공명층을 포함한다 하여도 마이크로 공명층의 제조공정, 구체적으로 흡음공 (타공) 형성 방법에 의하여 흡음성능에 차이가 있고, 인쇄방식에 의하는 경우 주파수 대역별로 다양한 흡음공의 직경 또는 단위면적 대비 흡음공이 차지하는 비율을 조절하여 그 종류를 다양하게 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Claims (13)

  1. 다공성 기재; 및
    인쇄방식에 의해 형성된 마이크로 공명층을 포함하는
    흡음시트.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 마이크로 공명층은 양면을 관통하는 다수의 흡음공을 포함하는
    흡음시트.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 마이크로 공명층은 염화비닐 졸, 우레탄계 수지, 아크릴계 수지, 비닐계 수지 중에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함하는
    흡음시트.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 다공성 기재는 유리섬유, 셀룰로오스 섬유, 펄프, 유기합성섬유 중에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함하는
    흡음시트.
  5. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 다공성 기재의 평량은 30g/m2 내지 500g/m2
    흡음시트.
  6. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 다공성 기재의 공기 투과도는 50Pa 압력에서 50L/m2/s 내지 1200L/m2/s인
    흡음시트.
  7. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 다공성 기재의 평균 기공도는 10㎛ 내지 60㎛인
    흡음시트.
  8. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 흡음시트는 200Hz 내지 2000Hz 주파수 범위에서 평균 흡음률 측정값이 0.4이상인 흡음성능을 갖는 흡음시트.
  9. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 흡음시트의 공기 투과도는 100Pa 압력에서 50L/m2/s 내지 1200 L/m2/s인
    흡음시트.
  10. 다공성 기재를 마련하는 단계;
    상기 다공성 기재 상부에 인쇄방식에 의해 마이크로 공명층을 형성하는 단계; 및
    상기 마이크로 공명층을 건조하는 단계;를 포함하는
    흡음시트 제조방법.
  11. 제 10항에 있어서,
    상기 인쇄방식이 로터리-스크린 인쇄방식을 포함하는
    흡음시트 제조방법.
  12. 제 11항에 있어서,
    상기 로터리-스크린 인쇄방식은 로터리 스크린 롤에 마이크로 공명층을 형성하기 위한 조성물을 주입하여 수행되고,
    상기 로터리 스크린 롤은 마이크로 흡음망을 포함하는
    흡음시트 제조방법.
  13. 제 12항에 있어서,
    상기 마이크로 흡음망은 주파수 대역별로 흡음공의 직경, 단위면적 대비 흡음공이 차지하는 비율 또는 흡음공과 흡음공 사이의 간격 조절이 가능한
