Definitions
- the present invention relates to a power generation system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a power generation system including a power generation unit that discharges combustion exhaust gas.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a packaged fuel cell power generator installed indoors.
- the fuel cell power generator disclosed in this document condenses water vapor contained in the system exhaust exhausted from the fuel processor and the fuel cell main body, and collects it in a water tank through a drain pipe. In the same water tank, it is described that condensed water can be prevented from flowing back into the main body by securing the water level and sealing with water.
- the exhaust gas may be discharged from a part other than the original exhaust system.
- the portion where the exhaust gas may be discharged must be arranged at a position where a problem caused by the exhaust gas does not occur, which may be a design limitation.
- the present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, and provides a power generation system that can reduce the possibility that combustion exhaust gas from a power generation unit is discharged from a part other than the original combustion exhaust gas system. Objective.
- One aspect of the power generation system of the present invention includes a power generation unit that discharges combustion exhaust gas, a housing that houses the power generation unit, a ventilator that ventilates the interior of the housing, and a gas that flows from the ventilator.
- a water trap device that is connected to the first gas flow path and that is connected to the first gas flow path, is disposed below the merge portion, and has a water seal structure, and the water trap.
- a drainage channel for discharging water in the vessel to the outside of the housing, and the ventilator is configured to operate at least during power generation.
- FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating an example of a schematic configuration of the power generation system according to the first embodiment.
- FIG. 2 is a block diagram illustrating an example of a schematic configuration of the power generation system according to the second embodiment.
- FIG. 3 is a block diagram illustrating an example of a schematic configuration of the power generation system according to the third embodiment.
- FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating an example of an operation method of the power generation system according to the third embodiment.
- FIG. 5 is a block diagram illustrating an example of a schematic configuration of a power generation system according to the fourth embodiment.
- a fuel cell system includes, for example, a reformer that generates a fuel gas containing hydrogen by a steam reforming reaction using raw materials supplied from infrastructure such as city gas and natural gas, and a fuel containing hydrogen generated by the reformer A fuel cell that supplies gas to the anode and oxidant gas to the cathode to generate power by an electrochemical reaction.
- the fuel cell and the reformer may need to be heated, and a combustor is often provided for heating.
- a drainage mechanism is provided so that condensed water derived from the moisture is drained to the outside of the fuel cell system.
- the combustion exhaust gas may be discharged to the outside through the drainage mechanism.
- the combustion exhaust gas is diluted with air in the atmosphere, so it may not be a big problem, but there may be a problem.
- the combustion exhaust gas may contain carbon monoxide.
- the distance between the window leading to the indoor space and the exhaust port may have to be increased to a certain level or more. If the combustion exhaust gas is likely to be discharged through the drainage mechanism, the arrangement position of the drainage mechanism is restricted, and the design of the fuel cell system may be difficult.
- combustion exhaust gas tends to become high temperature, and it is necessary to keep a necessary distance from combustible materials.
- the flue gas is discharged from the original flue gas system, even if the above distance is secured, if the flue gas is discharged from a part other than the original flue gas system, the required distance from the combustible material cannot be maintained. There is. For this reason, if there is a high possibility that combustion exhaust gas is discharged through the drainage mechanism, the arrangement position of the drainage mechanism may be restricted, and the design of the fuel cell system may be difficult.
- the flue gas discharged from the original flue gas system is designed not to be discharged indoors, but if it is discharged from a part other than the original flue gas system Problems such as ignition of flammable materials, off-flavor, and carbon monoxide may occur. Therefore, in the same manner as described above, it may be a design restriction that the combustion exhaust gas is discharged to the outside through the drainage mechanism.
- Patent Document 1 As a result of examination by the inventors, in the configuration of Patent Document 1 (FIG. 7), the water level is secured and sealed in the path for discharging condensed water, so that combustion exhaust gas is prevented from flowing indoors.
- the combustion exhaust gas may flow out of the fuel cell power generation device through the drainage mechanism.
- Examples of damage to the water sealing function include forgetting to store water in the water tank during installation or maintenance of the fuel cell system, water leakage in the water tank, and the inner pipe of the double pipe duct
- the pressure in the inner pipe (back pressure) is higher than expected due to the blockage of the air and the strong wind blowing on the inner pipe, and the pressure in the inner pipe exceeds the water pressure difference corresponding to the water seal height in the water tank. For example, when a phenomenon such as discharge of water in the water tank occurs.
- the problem that arises when the water seal function is impaired is not only the fuel cell, but also a power generation system that includes a power generation unit that discharges combustion exhaust gas, including generators using engines such as gas engines, diesel engines, and Stirling engines. This is a common issue.
- the present inventors join the first gas flow path through which the gas discharged from the ventilator flows and the second gas flow path through which the combustion exhaust gas from the power generation unit flows at the junction.
- a water trap device connected to the first gas flow path upstream of the merge portion and disposed below the merge portion and having a water seal structure, and discharging water in the water trap device to the outside of the housing The idea was to provide a drainage channel.
- the gas discharged from the ventilator reduces the possibility that the combustion exhaust gas enters the first gas flow path upstream of the junction. Therefore, the possibility that the flue gas from the power generation unit is discharged from a part other than the original flue gas system can be reduced as compared with the conventional case.
- the power generation system of the first embodiment includes a power generation unit that discharges combustion exhaust gas, a housing that houses the power generation unit, a ventilator that ventilates the inside of the housing, and a first gas flow through which the gas discharged from the ventilator flows.
