(1-1.概要)
まず、本開示による第1の実施形態の概要について図1を参照して説明する。図1に示すように、本実施形態によるカプセル型医療装置1(以下、カプセル1とも称す)は、被検体6に飲み込まれ、体内で所定の部位に対して刺激を与えることにより、内容物の排出を促すことができる。
図2は、第1の実施形態によるカプセル1の構成を示すブロック図である。図2に示すように、カプセル1は、刺激部10、制御部11、検出部13、および計測部15を有する。
次に、本実施形態によるカプセル1の動作処理について図5を参照して説明する。図5は、第1の実施形態によるカプセル1の動作処理を示すフローチャートである。図5に示すように、まず、検出部13は、トリガーを検出する(ステップS103)。
上述したように、第1の実施形態では、トリガーが検出されてから予め設定された時間が経過した場合に刺激を開始していた。しかし、本開示による刺激開始のタイミングは第1の実施形態に限定されず、例えば、予め登録された特定の部位に到達したと判断した場合に刺激を開始してもよい。以下、図7~図8を参照して具体的に説明する。
図7は、第2の実施形態によるカプセル2の構成を示すブロック図である。図7に示すように、カプセル2は、刺激部10、制御部120、照明部17、および撮像部18を有する。なお、刺激部10は、上述した第1の実施形態と同様であるので、ここでの説明は省略する。
次に、本実施形態によるカプセル2の動作処理について図8を参照して説明する。図8は、第2の実施形態によるカプセル2の動作処理を示すフローチャートである。図8に示すように、まず、電源投入され、被検体6に飲み込まれたカプセル2は、体腔内を移動しながら撮像を行う(ステップS123)。
上述したように、第1および第2の実施形態では、カプセル型医療装置が刺激開始のタイミングを判断しているが、本開示による刺激開始のタイミングはこれに限定されず、例えば、外部装置からの制御信号に従って刺激を開始してもよい。以下、外部装置からの制御信号に従って刺激を開始する第3の実施形態によるカプセル型医療装置について図9~図12を参照して具体的に説明する。
図9は、第3の実施形態の全体構成について示す説明図である。図9に示すように、本実施形態によるカプセル型医療装置3(以下、カプセル3とも称す)は、外部の制御装置20とデータ通信を行い、体内で所定の部位に対して刺激を与えることにより、内容物の排出を促すことができる。
(カプセル3の構成)
図10は、第3の実施形態によるカプセル3の構成を示すブロック図である。図10に示すように、カプセル3は、刺激部10、制御部130および通信部19を有する。なお、刺激部10は、上述した第1の実施形態と同様であるので、ここでの説明は省略する。
図11は、第3の実施形態による制御装置20の構成を示すブロック図である。図11に示すように、制御装置20は、制御部21、通信部22、表示部23、操作入力部24、位置検出部25および判断部26を有する。
次に、本実施形態による医療システムの動作処理について図12を参照して説明する。図12は、第3の実施形態による医療システムの動作処理を示すフローチャートである。図12に示すように、まず、制御装置20において特定部位が登録される(ステップS143)。特定部位の登録では、医療スタッフまたは被検体6等により、刺激を与える体腔内の所定の部位が指定される。また、特定部位の登録において、制御装置20は、刺激時間の指定、および刺激の種類に応じたカプセルの指定(振動カプセル、電気刺激カプセル、または変形カプセル等)を受け付けてもよい。
上述したように、本開示の実施形態によるカプセル型医療装置は、体腔内の所定の部位に対して刺激を与えることにより、安全かつ手軽に体内から内容物を排出させることができる。これにより、例えば誤飲した異物を体内から安全に排出させることができる。

前記刺激部は、トリガーを検出してから予め設定された時間経過後、前記所定の部位への刺激を開始し、刺激開始から一定の時間経過後に刺激を終了する、前記(1)または(2)に記載のカプセル型医療装置。

前記刺激部は、圧力が加えられたことを検出してから略1~2秒後に、喉への刺激を開始する、前記(3)に記載のカプセル型医療装置。

- カプセル型医療装置であって、
体腔内の所定の部位に対して刺激を与える刺激部を備える、カプセル型医療装置。 - 前記刺激部が与える刺激は、振動、電気刺激、または圧力である、請求項1に記載のカプセル型医療装置。
- 前記刺激部は、トリガーを検出してから予め設定された時間経過後、前記所定の部位への刺激を開始し、刺激開始から一定の時間経過後に刺激を終了する、請求項1に記載のカプセル型医療装置。
- 前記刺激部は、圧力が加えられたことを検出してから略1~2秒後に、喉への刺激を開始する、請求項3に記載のカプセル型医療装置。
- 前記カプセル型医療装置は、
体腔内を撮像する撮像部をさらに備え、
前記刺激部は、前記撮像部により撮像された撮像画像に基づいて特定の部位であると判定された場合に、前記特定の部位への刺激を開始する、請求項1に記載のカプセル型医療装置。 - 前記カプセル型医療装置は、
