Definitions
- the present invention relates to a medical trocar, and more particularly to a thoracic trocar.
- a trocar is a device that supports the operation of the thoracic or abdominal cavity by making a small hole without making a large incision in the abdomen or thoracic cavity of the patient.
- Medical trocars are generally medical instruments used to access the thoracic or abdominal cavity. Medical instruments such as laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, and endoscope are inserted using a medical trocar.
- Thoracoscopic surgery is a method of drilling a small hole in the patient's thoracic cavity and through this hole while observing the inside of the thoracic cavity.
- thoracoscopic surgery has been developed to make the incision of the skin as small as possible, and the operation using this thoracoscopic surgery is increasing day by day.
- the trocar is inserted between the ribs and ribs in the same region as the thorax to observe organs such as the lungs or to perform surgery. It causes tremendous pain, which still causes great pain after surgery.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a thoracic trocar for reducing the pain of the patient when the trocar is inserted between the bones, such as the chest.
- One embodiment of the present invention is a trocar for thoracic cavity, trocar; Cannula; And a shield, wherein the trocar is divided into upper and lower parts, the lower part is a cylindrical member, the upper part is a member having a size larger than the circumference of the lower cylinder, and the lower end which does not contact the upper part is tapered (the cannula includes a tubular member insertable along the longitudinal direction of a cylinder at the bottom of the trocar and a portion of the tubular member widened at one end of the tubular member.
- the cannula is inserted into the trocar so that the widening portion faces the upper side of the trocar, and the shield is a tubular member that wraps around its length along the length of the tubular cannula of the cannula.
- the shield is a tubular member that wraps around its length along the length of the tubular cannula of the cannula.
- the shield is also referred to as an insertion member, and in the present specification, the shield is a uniform shield. Threads may be formed on the outside of the shield.
- the tubular member of the cannula is made of a rigid plastic material (for example, plastic such as PC, PP, ABS, etc.), and the shield is made of a flexible and soft material (eg, a plastic).
- a rigid plastic material for example, plastic such as PC, PP, ABS, etc.
- the shield is made of a flexible and soft material (eg, a plastic).
- Thermoplastic Elastomer, Polyurethane, Silicone, Rubber, etc.) is preferable.
- the thoracic trocar according to the present invention has an advantage of reducing pain of the patient when the trocar is inserted between bones such as the chest.

- Thoracic trocar according to an embodiment of the present invention, trocar 10; Cannula 20; Shield 30; And a cover 40.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a combined thoracic trocar according to an embodiment of the present invention
- Figure 2 shows a combination of the components of the thoracic trocar according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 3 shows the appearance of the trocar 10 of the thoracic trocar according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the trocar 10 may be divided into an upper portion 14 and a lower portion 12, as shown in FIG.
- the lower part 12 is a long cylindrical member, and one end of the lower part 12 abuts the upper part 14.
- the upper portion 14 is a member having a size larger than the circumference of the lower cylinder, and may or may not be cylindrical, but may be a member having a size larger in the radial direction than the entire circumferential surface of the lower cylinder. As such, the upper part is larger in the radial direction than the lower part so that the cannula 20 can be accurately inserted to the depth of the upper part when the cannula 20 is inserted into the trocar 10.
- the end portion 16 which is not in contact with the upper portion 14 of the lower portion 12, has a tapered shape, that is, an awl-like shape.
- This part 16 is a part that directly penetrates the chest to form a sharp shape.
- Figure 4 shows the appearance of the cannula of the thoracic trocar according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the cannula 20 is a long tubular member, as shown in FIG. 4.
- the cannula 20 is insertable along the longitudinal direction of the cylinder of the lower part 12 of the trocar 10.
- the cannula 20 has a tubular shape, and has a tubular shape, and a hole 26 penetrating along the longitudinal direction thereof is formed.
- the cannula 20 is inserted into the body through the skin and is inserted into the body so that the medical device is inserted into the cannula 20 through the through hole 26.
- the cannula 20 may be a tubular member, and additionally, a thread may be formed at one end to securely fasten the upper portion 14 of the trocar 10.
- the thread may be formed at one end of the cannula 20, and may be formed on an additional member 24 integrally connected with the cannula.
- the thread formed on the outer circumferential surface of one end of the cannula may be a trocar 10 It is engaged with the complementary thread formed in the portion that abuts the threaded portion of the cannula of the upper portion 14 of the can) to achieve a very tight coupling.
- the cannula 20 may be divided into a tubular member that can be inserted along the longitudinal direction of the cylinder of the lower part of the trocar, and a portion where the size of the tube is widened at one end of the tubular member.
- the cannula is inserted into the trocar so that the portion of the tube widens toward the upper side of the trocar.
- Figure 5 shows a state of the shield 30 of the thoracic trocar according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the shield 30 is a soft elastic material and is a tubular member that can be fitted to wrap around its length along the length of the tube of the tubular cannula 20.
- Shield 30 is formed with a through hole 36 along the longitudinal direction to be fitted to the tube of the cannula (20).
- the shield 60 is made of a soft elastic material.
- a soft elastic material may be silicone, natural rubber, or the like. Accordingly, when the cannula is inserted in a place such as the chest of the patient, the soft elastic material portion is touched without directly touching the bone or the like, thereby reducing the pain of the patient.
- the tubular member of the cannula is made of a rigid plastic material (e.g., plastic such as PC, PP, ABS, etc.), and the shield is flexible and resilient. soft) material (eg Thermoplastic Elastomer, Polyurethane, Silicone, Rubber, etc.).
- a thread-shaped portion 32 is formed around the shield, so that it can be inserted smoothly into the chest when inserted into the chest.
- the thread-shaped portion 32 is also a soft elastic material, silicon, natural rubber or the like is used.
- Figure 6 shows the appearance of the cover of the thoracic trocar according to an embodiment of the present invention, such a cover can be fitted to the open upper portion of the trocar top (14).
- the present invention having the configuration as described above is a useful invention that can reduce the pain of the patient when the trocar is inserted between the bone, such as the chest.
