Abstract

La présente invention concerne un canot de sauvetage encapsulé comportant au moins une virure de levage (5, 6, 7, 12) sur sa coque, au moins la moitié de la longueur de la ou des virures de levage étant agencée au-dessus de la ligne de flottaison (16) du canot de sauvetage, permettant ainsi un mouvement sans à-coups lorsqu'il est partiellement ou entièrement immergé dans l'eau. De plus, le canot de sauvetage encapsulé est conçu pour être utilisé comme canot de sauvetage largable.
