ユーザは、各区間の特徴値を示す数値や文字列、または該数値や文字列の近傍に配置されたボタンb(図2(B)のA領域参照)をマウスポインタ等でクリックすることにより、任意に区間を選択することができる。
具体的には、縦軸および横軸の範囲は、(1)全商品の商品画像を表示する「通常表示モード」の場合、商品データ格納部4Aに格納されている全商品における軸項目に設定された商品特徴項目の特徴値を含むように設定され、(2)「チェック」(または「お気に入り」)に指定された商品の商品画像のみを表示する「チェック表示モード」(または「お気に入り表示モード」)の場合、「チェック」(または「お気に入り」)の全商品における軸項目に設定された商品特徴項目の特徴値を含むように設定され、(3)選択された所定数の商品の商品画像のみを表示する「拡大表示モード」の場合、選択された所定数の商品における軸項目に設定された商品特徴項目の特徴値を含むように設定される。
分布図生成部6では、ユーザ端末3において縦軸および横軸の区間が選択されたり、軸項目が変更されたり、表示モードが変更されたりするのをきっかけとして、図3に示す処理が実行される。換言すると、分布図生成部6では、分布図に関するデータを生成する必要が生じたときに、図3に示す処理が実行される。
具体的には、「通常表示モード」の場合、商品データ格納部4Aに格納されている全商品のIDが取得され、「チェック表示モード」(または「お気に入り表示モード」)の場合、指定商品ID格納部4Dに格納されている全商品のIDが取得され、「拡大表示モード」の場合、枠内商品ID格納部4Eに格納されている全商品のIDが取得される。
例えば、図2(B)に示す分布図上で区間y2、y3および区間x2、x3が選択された場合、絞り込み条件は、「価格が40万円~120万円(区間y2または区間y3)に含まれ、かつ走行距離が0~4万km(区間x2または区間x3)に含まれること」(条件1)となる。
すなわち、絞り込み条件は、同軸間で区間選択が行われた場合には、選択された区間における特徴値の論理和となるのに対して、異軸間で区間選択が行われた場合には、選択された区間における特徴値の論理積となる。
なお、後述する一発検索設定ウィンドウで入力された検索条件も絞り込み条件となる。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、商品ID格納部4Cに格納されたIDに対応する商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図が表示される。
この場合、ユーザ端末3には、上記全商品の商品画像を配置した分布図が表示される。
具体的には、商品抽出部7は、絞り込み条件に該当する商品のIDを抽出して商品ID格納部4Cに格納させたり(図3のS6、S7参照)、「チェック」(または「お気に入り」)の指定がされた商品のIDを抽出して指定商品ID格納部4Dに格納させたり、商品選択枠Fや選択枠により選択された商品のIDを抽出して枠内商品ID格納部4Eに格納させたりする。
次に、「軸項目変更による絞り込み機能」について説明する。
図4に示す分布図は、縦軸の軸項目として「価格」が設定され、横軸の軸項目として「走行距離」が設定され、さらに、縦軸の区間y2、y3が選択され、横軸の区間x2、x3が選択されたものである。このため、図4に示す分布図における絞り込み条件は、上述の条件1になる。なお、図4では、表示モードが「通常表示モード」に設定されているものとする。
同図に示すように、縦軸の軸項目となる商品特徴項目のみを変更する場合、ユーザは、D領域に表示された「走行距離」のボタンの右に配置されているロックボタンd3をマウスポインタ等でクリックしてロックをかけ、「色」のボタンをクリックする。このとき、縦軸の軸項目として設定されている「価格」の右に配置されているロックボタンは、デフォルトでロックが解除された状態になっているので、「色」のボタンがクリックされると、縦軸の軸項目は「価格」から「色」に変更される。なお、変更後は、「色」の右にロックが解除された状態のロックボタンd4が配置される。
具体的には、分布図生成部6は、表示モードとして「通常表示モード」を取得するとともに、該表示モードに応じて商品データ格納部4Aに格納されている全商品のIDを取得し、該全商品の「価格」、「走行距離」の特徴値が図4に示す分布図における絞り込み条件(条件1)に該当するか否かの照合を開始する(図3のS1~S5)。
条件1に該当する特徴値を有する商品のIDは、商品抽出部7により抽出され、商品ID格納部4Cに格納される(図3のS6、S7)。
分布図生成部6は、上記条件1に該当するか否かの照合が終了すると、商品ID格納部4Cに格納されたIDに対応する商品の座標位置を導出し、該座標位置に上記商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図に関するデータを生成する(図3のS8~S10)。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、上記条件1に該当する33件の商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図が表示される。
図6に示す分布図は、ユーザ端末3において縦軸の区間y1(特徴値が「白系」)と区間y15(特徴値が「シルバー系」)とが選択されたものである。
このため、図3のステップS3において取得される絞り込み条件は、上記条件1に、新たな絞り込み条件「色が「白系」または「シルバー系」であること」(条件2)を加えたものとなる。
図3のステップS5~S8では、上記条件1および条件2に該当する商品のIDが抽出され、商品ID格納部4Cに格納される。これにより、図5に示す分布図生成時に商品ID格納部4Cに格納されたIDは、新たに格納された上記IDに置き換えられる。
そして、商品ID格納部4Cに格納されたIDに対応する商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図に関するデータが生成される。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、上記条件1および条件2に該当する10件の商品の商品画像のみを配置した図6に示す分布図が表示される。
次に、「チェック機能」および「お気に入り機能」について説明する。
これにより、ユーザは、「チェック」や「お気に入り」に指定した商品を分布図上で視覚的に区別することができる。
なお、商品画像としてシンボルマークが表示されている場合には、図2(B)に示すように、「お気に入り」に指定された商品が星型のマークS2で表示され、「チェック」に指定された商品がチェックマークS1で表示される。
具体的には、縦軸の軸項目として「色」が設定されているので、縦軸の範囲は、商品データ格納部4Aに格納されている全商品の「色」の特徴値を含むように設定される。一方、横軸の軸項目として「走行距離」が設定されているので、横軸の範囲は、指定商品ID格納部4Dに格納されたIDに対応する全6件の商品の「走行距離」の特徴値を含むように設定される。すなわち、横軸の範囲は、図7に示す区間x2および区間x3内の範囲となる。
図8では、表示モードが「お気に入り表示モード」であるため、分布図生成部6は、図3のステップS2において、指定商品ID格納部4Dに格納されている「お気に入り」に指定された全6件の商品のIDを取得する。
また、図3のステップS3において取得される絞り込み条件は、上記条件1および条件2であるため、図3のステップS5~S8では、「お気に入り」に指定された全6件の商品において、上記条件1および条件2に該当するか否かの照合が行われる。上記6件の商品はいずれの商品も条件1および条件2に該当するので、上記全6件の商品のIDが商品ID格納部4Cに格納され、上記6件の商品画像を配置した分布図に関するデータが生成される。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、上記6件の商品画像のみを配置した分布図が表示されるので、ユーザは、「お気に入り」に指定した商品の中から好みの商品を選ぶことができる。
次に、「虫眼鏡拡大機能」について説明する。
図9に示す分布図は、上記49件の商品の商品画像のみを含む領域が拡大表示されたものであり、該分布図の右上には、図2(B)に示す分布図の縮小画像E(選択前の全領域を示す分布図)が配置されている。縮小画像Eには、商品選択枠Fにより選択された領域を示す仮想枠fが配置されている。
図9では、表示モードが「拡大表示モード」であるため、分布図生成部6は、図3のステップS2において、枠内商品ID格納部4Eに格納された商品のIDを取得する。
また、図3のステップS3において取得される絞り込み条件は存在しないので(図3のS4でNO)、分布図生成部6は、取得した上記IDに対応する商品の座標位置を導出し(図3のS11)、該座標位置に上記商品の商品画像を配置した分布図に関するデータを生成する(図3のS12)。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、商品選択枠Fにより選択された商品画像のみを配置した分布図が表示されるので、ユーザは、これらの商品の中から好みの商品を選ぶことができる。
各商品の座標位置(Dx[i],Dy[i])が第1象限の座標位置に変換されると、変換後の各商品の座標位置(Dx’[i],Dy’[i])とマウスポインタpの座標位置(px,py)とを結ぶ直線の傾きDa[i](=Dy’[i]/Dx’[i])が商品毎に算出される。
座標位置f1(x1,y1)およびf2(x2,y2)が算出されることにより仮想枠fの大きさが設定され、縮小画像E上に仮想枠fが配置される(図9のE領域参照)。
次に、「欲張り検索機能」について説明する。
図11では、「価格」、「燃費」、「外装キレイ度」の順に優先順位が付けられており、これらの商品特徴項目のボタンの右下に優先順位を示す数字が配置されている。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には図11に示す分布図が表示される。
次に、「リスト表示機能」について説明する。
この横リストには、後述の印刷設定ウィンドウを表示させる印刷ボタンPと、該リストの商品データを縦方向に一覧表示した縦リストに切り替えるためのリスト表示切替ボタンQとが配置されている。
次に、「印刷機能」について説明する。
この印刷設定ウィンドウは、印刷形式選択部P1と、出力項目選択部P2と、プレビュー部P3とからなる。
印刷形式選択部P1では、商品データを3件ずつ表示させる「3×3印刷」の印刷形式と、商品データをリスト形式で表示させる「リスト印刷」の印刷形式とを選択できる。
出力項目選択部P2では、商品データのうち出力させる商品特徴項目を選択できる。
プレビュー部P3では、印刷形式選択部P1で選択された印刷形式と、出力項目選択部P2で選択された商品特徴項目とに基づいて生成されたリストが表示される。
図13では、印刷形式として「3×3印刷」が選択され、商品特徴項目として「価格」、「走行距離」、「ボディタイプ」、「色」、「年式」が選択されている。
次に、「ドラッグ&ドロップ範囲選択機能」について説明する。
次に、「画像表示切り替え機能」について説明する。
次に、「リコメンド機能」について説明する。
また、縦軸および横軸の両方の軸に、特徴値によって良し悪しを判断できる上記のような商品特徴項目が軸項目に設定された場合、両方の特徴値が良いとされる商品は、一方の特徴値のみが良いとされる商品よりも、さらに強調表示される。
強調表示させる条件は、例えば、「外装キレイ度(特徴値の最大値が10、最小値が1)については特徴値が8以上」というように設定されている。
次に、「一発検索機能」について説明する。
ユーザは、一発検索設定ウィンドウにおいて、軸項目に設定された商品特徴項目の特徴値の範囲を選択したり、軸項目以外の商品特徴項目の特徴値を選択したりすることによって、商品を絞り込むための検索条件を入力することができる。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、一発検索設定ウィンドウにおいて入力された検索条件に該当する商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図が表示される。
次に、「フィルタ機能」について説明する。
これらのチェックボックスは、フィルタ条件を選択させるためのものであり、具体的には商品特徴項目毎の特徴値の一方の値(例えば、「あり」)を選択させるためのものである。すなわち、図16に示すように、「禁煙」のチェックボックスが選択されている場合、フィルタ条件は、「禁煙であること」になる。
また、複数のチェックボックスが選択されている場合、フィルタ条件は、選択されたチェックボックスの論理積となる。すなわち、「禁煙」および「ワンオーナー車」のチェックボックスが選択されている場合、フィルタ条件は「禁煙であり、かつワンオーナー車であること」になる。
なお、フィルタ条件選択欄に関するデータは、サーバ2に備えられた不図示のフィルタ条件生成部により生成される。また、特徴値が2値となる商品特徴項目のうち、どの商品特徴項目をフィルタ条件選択欄に配置するかは、サーバ2側で任意に設定、変更することができる。
これにより、ユーザは、フィルタ条件に該当する商品とフィルタ条件に該当しない商品とを一目で判断することができるので、希望の商品を迅速に選ぶことができる。
以下では、簡単のため、図17(A)に示す商品1~4のみが分布図に配置されるものとする。同図に示すように、各商品における「禁煙」/「ワンオーナー車」の特徴値は、商品1が「あり」/「あり」、商品2が「なし」/「あり」、商品3が「あり」/「なし」、商品4が「なし」/「なし」となっている。
パターン1では、フィルタ条件選択欄において「禁煙」および「ワンオーナー車」のチェックボックスがいずれも選択されていない場合について説明する(図17(B)参照)。
パターン2では、フィルタ条件選択欄において、「禁煙」のチェックボックスが選択され、かつ「ワンオーナー車」のチェックボックスが選択されていない場合について説明する(図17(C)参照)。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、商品1、3が通常通り表示され、商品2、4がグレー表示された分布図が表示される。
パターン3では、フィルタ条件選択欄において、「ワンオーナー車」のチェックボックスが選択され、かつ「禁煙」のチェックボックスが選択されていない場合について説明する(図17(D)参照)。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、商品1、2が通常通り表示され、商品3、4がグレー表示された分布図が表示される。
フィルタ条件選択欄において、「禁煙」および「ワンオーナー車」のチェックボックスが両方とも選択された場合について説明する(図17(E)参照)。
これにより、ユーザ端末3には、商品1が通常通り表示され、商品2、3、4がグレー表示された分布図が表示される。
また、上記説明では、識別可能な表示としてグレー表示を用いているが、通常の表示と区別できるのであれば任意の表示を用いることができる。
上記の機能の他、商品検索システム1は、履歴を移動させるために、操作を1つ前に戻す「戻る」ボタンと、戻した操作を1つ進める「進む」ボタンとを表示させる機能を備えている。
上記領域外の商品画像を上記領域内の商品画像よりも薄く表示させる場合、分布図生成部6は、例えば、図3のステップS9において、ステップS2で取得したIDに対応する全商品の座標位置を導出し、ステップS10において、上記領域外の商品画像が、上記領域内の商品画像(ステップS7で商品ID格納部4Cに格納されたIDに対応する商品の商品画像)よりも薄く表示されるよう配置された分布図に関するデータを生成する。
これにより、上記領域内の商品画像は相対的に強調表示されるので、ユーザは直感的かつ視覚的な商品の絞り込みが可能になる。
例えば、ユーザは、ユーザ端末3のブラウザから分布図を表示させるための処理を実行可能にする「SWFファイル」等のファイルをダウンロードすることにより、ユーザ端末3に、サーバ2内の格納部4、2次元座標空間規定部5、分布図生成部6、商品抽出部7、表示モード切替部8およびリスト生成部9等(ただし、データ通信部10を除く)を構築させることができる。
これにより、ユーザは、サーバ2を介することなくユーザ端末3において、上記1~12の任意の機能を使用しつつ、分布図を表示させることができる。この場合、一台のユーザ端末3が商品検索システムとなる。

Claims (14)
- 複数の商品の商品画像が配置された2次元座標空間からなる分布図を表示することによりユーザに希望の商品を検索させることができる商品検索システムであって、
前記商品の固有識別情報、商品画像および前記商品に関する複数の商品特徴項目の特徴値を前記商品毎に商品データとして格納する商品データ格納部と、
前記2次元座標空間の縦軸および横軸の軸項目に対する商品特徴項目毎の設定可否情報、ならびに前記縦軸および横軸を複数の区間に分割するために設定された商品特徴項目毎の軸分割数を格納する軸項目データ格納部と、
前記分布図に配置される商品の固有識別情報を格納する商品ID格納部と、
前記ユーザによって選択された商品特徴項目を前記縦軸および横軸の軸項目に設定し、前記商品データ格納部に格納された全商品の前記商品特徴項目に基づいて前記縦軸および横軸の範囲を設定するとともに、前記商品特徴項目の軸分割数に基づいて前記縦軸および横軸を前記複数の区間に分割した前記2次元座標空間を規定する2次元座標空間規定部と、
前記軸項目に設定された前記商品特徴項目の特徴値に基づいて前記2次元座標空間における商品の座標位置を導出し、該座標位置に前記商品の商品画像を配置した分布図に関するデータを生成する分布図生成部と、
前記複数の区間のうち前記ユーザによって選択された任意の区間からなる領域または2以上の任意の区間が重複した領域に含まれる商品の固有識別情報を抽出し、該固有識別情報を前記商品ID格納部に格納させる商品抽出部と、
を備え、
前記ユーザによって前記任意の区間が選択され、前記固有識別情報が前記商品ID格納部に格納されると、
前記分布図生成部は、前記商品ID格納部に格納された前記固有識別情報に対応する商品の商品画像が相対的に強調表示された絞り込み後の分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする商品検索システム。 - 前記分布図生成部は、前記2次元座標空間上に、前記商品ID格納部に格納された前記固有識別情報に対応する商品の商品画像のみを配置することで該商品画像が相対的に強調表示された絞り込み後の分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の商品検索システム。
- 前記絞り込み後の分布図において新たな軸項目が選択されると、
前記2次元座標空間規定部は、前記商品データ格納部に格納された全商品における前記軸項目に設定された商品特徴項目に基づいて前記縦軸および横軸の範囲を設定した2次元座標空間を規定し、
前記分布図生成部は、前記2次元座標空間上に、前記商品ID格納部に格納された前記固有識別情報に対応する商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の商品検索システム。 - 前記絞り込み後の分布図内の任意の商品画像が指定されると、
前記商品抽出部は、指定された商品画像に対応する商品の固有識別情報を抽出し、該固有識別情報を指定商品ID格納部に格納させ、
前記分布図生成部は、前記指定商品ID格納部に格納された前記固有識別情報に対応する商品の商品画像が前記指定された商品画像として識別可能となるように前記分布図に関するデータを修正することを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。 - 前記指定商品ID格納部に格納された前記固有識別情報に対応する商品の商品画像のみを表示する表示モードに切り替える表示モード切替部をさらに備え、
前記ユーザによって前記表示モードに切り替えられると、
前記2次元座標空間規定部は、前記指定商品ID格納部に格納された固有識別情報に対応する全商品における前記軸項目に設定された前記商品特徴項目に基づいて前記縦軸および横軸の範囲を設定した2次元座標空間を規定し、
前記分布図生成部は、前記指定商品ID格納部と前記商品ID格納部の両方に格納された固有識別情報に対応する商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の商品検索システム。 - 前記分布図生成部は、前記軸項目に設定された前記商品特徴項目の特徴値が予め設定された所定の範囲に含まれる商品を前記2次元座標空間上に配置する場合、該商品の商品画像が強調表示された分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。
- 前記分布図生成部は、前記2次元座標空間上に配置する前記商品画像の数が所定値以上の場合には、該商品画像としてシンボルマークを配置した分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。
- 前記分布図には、前記ユーザによって指定された任意の座標位置およびその周辺を拡大表示させるとともに、前記座標位置を中心に所定数の商品画像を選択可能な商品選択枠が配置されており、
前記商品選択枠により前記所定数の商品画像が選択されると、
前記商品抽出部は、前記所定数の商品画像に対応する商品の固有識別情報を抽出し、該固有識別情報を枠内商品ID格納部に格納させ、
前記2次元座標空間規定部は、前記枠内商品ID格納部に格納された固有識別情報に対応する全商品における前記軸項目に設定された前記商品特徴項目に基づいて前記縦軸および横軸の範囲を設定した2次元座標空間を規定し、
前記分布図生成部は、前記枠内ID格納部に格納された固有識別情報に対応する商品の商品画像のみを配置した分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。 - 前記2次元座標空間規定部は、前記縦軸および横軸の軸項目の少なくとも一方に2以上の商品特徴項目を設定し、該商品特徴項目のそれぞれの特徴値の取りうる値を正規化し、所定の優先順位に基づいて重み付け演算を行い、該重み付け演算後の値を足し合わせた演算結果に基づいて前記縦軸および横軸の範囲を設定した2次元座標空間を規定することを特徴とする請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。
- 複数の商品特徴項目に基づいて商品を絞り込むための検索条件を入力させる検索条件入力画面に関するデータを生成する条件入力画面生成部をさらに備え、
前記商品抽出部は、前記検索条件に該当する商品の固有識別情報を抽出して、該固有識別情報を前記商品ID格納部に格納することを特徴とする請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。 - 前記分布図内の任意の商品画像に対応する商品の商品データを一覧表示したリストに関するデータを生成するリスト生成部をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1~10のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。
- 前記リスト生成部は、前記絞り込み後の分布図内に配置された商品画像が所定数以下の場合に、前記絞り込み後の分布図内の全商品画像に対応する商品の商品データを一覧表示したリストに関するデータを自動的に生成することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の商品検索システム。
- 前記商品データ格納部に格納された商品データには、特徴値が2値となる商品特徴項目が含まれており、
前記商品特徴項目毎に前記2値の一方の値をフィルタ条件として選択させるフィルタ条件選択欄に関するデータを生成するフィルタ条件生成部をさらに備え、
前記フィルタ条件選択欄において、前記商品特徴項目の前記一方の値が選択されると、
前記分布図生成部は、前記2値の他方の値を特徴値として有する商品の商品画像を前記フィルタ条件に該当しない商品として識別可能に配置した分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項1~12のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。 - 前記商品データ格納部に格納された商品データには、特徴値が2値となる商品特徴項目が含まれており、
前記商品特徴項目毎に前記2値の一方の値をフィルタ条件として選択させるフィルタ条件選択欄に関するデータを生成するフィルタ条件生成部をさらに備え、
前記フィルタ条件選択欄において、前記商品特徴項目の前記一方の値が選択されると、
前記分布図生成部は、前記一方の値を特徴値として有する商品の商品画像を前記フィルタ条件に該当する商品として識別可能に配置した分布図に関するデータを生成することを特徴とする請求項1~12のいずれかに記載の商品検索システム。
