Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un palier magnétique (10) qui est pourvu d'électro-aimants (11) qui comprennent des noyaux d'électro-aimant (13) et des bobines (14) ainsi que des aimants permanents (12) qui, conjointement avec les électro-aimants, supportent sans contact une partie d'arbre rotatif (21) au moyen d'une force d'attraction magnétique. Les noyaux d'électro-aimant comportent des sections (40) de changement de la résistance magnétique disposées dans des trajets que traversent les champs magnétiques générés depuis les bobines des électro-aimants. Les aimants permanents sont disposés à des endroits qui correspondent aux sections de changement de la résistance magnétique présentes sur les noyaux d'électro-aimant, ceci afin d'empêcher les champs magnétiques générés à partir des aimants permanents de passer à travers les sections de changement de la résistance magnétique.
