본 발명은 구강 건강에 우수한 효과를 가지는 칫솔모 및 탄성부재에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따른 칫솔모 및 탄성부재를 포함하는 칫솔은 통상의 칫솔이 가지는 물리적 세정효과뿐만 아니라 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방 및 잇몸질환 예방 등 각종 구강 질환 예방에 도움을 준다.

Description

구강 건강용 칫솔모, 구강 건강용 탄성부재 및 이들을 포함하는 구강 건강용 칫솔
본 발명은 구강 건강에 우수한 칫솔모 또는 탄성부재 및 이를 포함하는 칫솔에 관한 것이다.
본 출원은 2011년 11월 2일 출원된 한국특허출원 제 10-2011-0113562호, 2011년 11월 2일에 출원된 한국특허출원 제 10-2011-0113563호, 및 2012년 7월 30일에 출원된 한국특허출원 제 10-2012-0083201에 기초한 우선권을 주장하며, 해당 출원의 명세서 및 도면에 개시된 모든 내용은 본 출원에 포함된다.
종래의 칫솔은 통상의 칫솔모를 가지며, 구강 세정의 기능을 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로, 종래 통상의 칫솔모는 폴리프로필렌, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리트리메틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리우레탄, 나일론 등 하나 또는 둘 이상의 성분을 용융하여 이를 미세한 노즐을 통과시켜 방사 성형하여 만들어지는 것이 일반적이다. 이러한 칫솔용 치모는 음식물 찌꺼기나 프라그 제거 등 치아를 물리적으로 세정해 주는 기능 외에 다른 효과는 기대할 수 없는 것으로 나타난다.
또한 최근에는 종래의 통상적인 칫솔모에 고무(Rubber), 실리콘 등의 탄성부재를 칫솔 헤드에 만들어 주어 양치시 물리적인 세정 및 잇몸 맛사지 효과를 부여한 제품들이 출시되고 있다.
하지만 이러한 제품들은 칫솔의 기본기능인 물리적 세정 효과 및 탄성부재를 통하여 잇몸 보호 효과만을 주고 있기 때문에 양치를 통한 다양한 구강건강 향상에 도움을 줄 수 없는 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 통상의 칫솔의 기능 외에 구강 질환 예방의 효과를 높여주는 물질 및 이를 포함한 칫솔의 개발이 필요하다.
따라서 본 발명이 해결하고자 하는 과제는 통상의 칫솔모가 가지는 물리적 세정 효과뿐 만이 아니라 구강 건강에 유용한 성분을 이용하여 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방, 잇몸질환 예방 또는 구강 세정 효과 등 각종 구강 질환 예방에 도움을 주는 칫솔모를 제공하는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명이 해결하고자 하는 과제는 구강 건강에 유용한 성분을 이용하여 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방 잇몸질환 예방 또는 구강 세정 효과 등 각종 구강 질환 예방에 도움을 주는 탄성부재를 제공하는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명이 해결하고자 하는 다른 과제는 통상의 칫솔이 가지는 물리적 세정 효과 및 탄성부재를 통하여 잇몸 보호 및 잇몸 마사지 효과뿐만 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방 잇몸질환 예방 또는 구강 세정 효과 등 각종 구강 질환 예방 및 구강 건강에 도움을 주는 칫솔을 제공하는 것이다.
상기 과제를 해결하기 위하여,
본 발명은 내부 코어층; 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모를 제공한다.
상기 칫솔모에 있어서, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층에 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
상기 칫솔모에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층은 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분 및 고분자 물질을 포함한다. 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분의 함량은 상기 칫솔모의 전체 중량 대비 0.1중량% 내지 10중량%를 함유하는 것이 바람직하다.
상기 칫솔모에 에서 사용되는 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 항염항균제, 미백제, 시린이 완화제, 치석침착 방지제, 향미제, 구취제거제, 잇몸건강제, 충치예방제 및 구강 세정 성분으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 적어도 하나 이상일 수 있거나, 또는 죽염, 천일염, 제제소금, 정제염, 송염, 자염, 용융소금, 가공염 및 인산염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상의 염류 성분, 바람직하게는 죽염, 인산염 및 송염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상일 수 있다.
또한, 상기 고분자 물질은 수용성 고분자 물질임이 바람직하다.
또한 본 발명은 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 제공한다.
상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 상기 탄성부재의 0.5중량% 내지 50중량% 포함함이 바람직하다.
상기 구강 건강용 탄성부재에서 사용되는 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 항염항균제, 미백제, 시린이 완화제, 치석침착 방지제, 향미제, 구취제거제, 잇몸건강제, 충치예방제 및 구강 세정 성분으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 적어도 하나 이상일 수 있거나, 또는 죽염, 천일염, 제제소금, 정제염, 송염, 자염, 용융소금, 가공염 및 인산염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상의 염류 성분, 바람직하게는 죽염, 인산염 및 송염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 바람직한 실시예에 따른 칫솔의 변형예들은 다음과 같다.
제1실시예에 따른 칫솔은 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부; 내부 코어층 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 구강 건강용 칫솔모;를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔이다.
상기 구강 건강용 칫솔에 있어 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층에 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
제2실시예에 따른 칫솔은 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부; 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모; 및 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부에 구비되는 팁(20); 을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔이다.
제3실시예에 따른 칫솔은 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부; 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모; 및 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 적어도 일부를 이루는 패드(30); 를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔이다.
제4실시예에 따른 칫솔은 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부와, 상기 칫솔 헤드부 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모를 구비한 칫솔에 있어서, 상기 칫솔모는 내부 코어층 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부 상면에 형성되는 구강 건강용 칫솔모; 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부에 구비되는 팁(20); 및 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 적어도 일부를 이루는 패드(30);중 적어도 하나 이상을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔이다.

본 발명에 따른 칫솔모는, 통상의 칫솔용 칫솔모가 가지는 물리적인 효과뿐만 아니라 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유한 다층 구조의 칫솔모로 인하여 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방, 잇몸질환 예방 또는 구강 세정 효과 등의 각종 구강 질환 예방 등 구강 건강에 유용한 기능을 효과적으로 구현한다. 또한 본 발명에 따른 칫솔모는 칫솔모에 약효 성분을 단순히 혼입한 것보다 기간의 측면에서 연장되어 양치를 통한 실질적인 구강 건강 향상에 상대적으로 긴 기간 동안 도움을 줄 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 탄성부재는 구강건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 가지고 있는 바 이러한 성분에 의한 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방, 잇몸질환 예방 또는 구강 세정 효과 등의 각종 구강 질환 예방 등 구강 건강에 유용한 기능을 효과적으로 구현한다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 칫솔모 및 탄성부재 중 적어도 하나 이상을 포함한 칫솔은 양치시 통상의 칫솔이 가지는 통상의 칫솔모로부터 발현되는 물리적 세정 효과 및 통상의 탄성부재로부터 발현되는 잇몸 보호 및 잇몸 마사지 효과뿐만 아니라, 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방 또는 잇몸질환 예방, 구강 세정 효과 등의 각종 구강 질환 예방 등 구강 건강에 도움을 줄 수 있다.
본 명세서에 첨부되는 다음의 도면들은 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 예시하는 것이며, 전술한 발명의 내용과 함께 본 발명의 기술사상을 더욱 이해시키는 역할을 하는 것이므로, 본 발명은 그러한 도면에 기재된 사항에만 한정되어 해석되어서는 아니 된다.

이하, 본 발명을 상세히 설명하기로 한다. 본 명세서 및 청구범위에 사용된 용어나 단어는 통상적이거나 사전적인 의미로 한정해서 해석되어서는 아니 되며, 발명자는 그 자신의 발명을 가장 최선의 방법으로 설명하기 위해 용어의 개념을 적절하게 정의할 수 있다는 원칙에 입각하여 본 발명의 기술적 사상에 부합하는 의미와 개념으로 해석되어야만 한다. 따라서, 본 명세서에 기재된 실시예와 도면에 기재된 구성은 가장 바람직한 일 실시예에 불과할 뿐이고, 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 모두 대변하는 것은 아니므로, 본 출원시점에 있어서 이들을 대체할 수 있는 다양한 균등물과 변형예들이 있을 수 있음을 이해하여야 한다.
본 발명에 따르는 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 다층 구조의 구강 건강용 칫솔모의 설명은 다음과 같다.
도 4 및 도 5를 참고하면, 상기 칫솔모(10)는 원통 모형이며 상기 칫솔모(10)의 내부는 내부 코어층(1) 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층(2)로 이루어져 있다. 상기 내부 코어층(1)는 칫솔모(10)의 중앙에 칫솔모의 길이방향으로 소정의 두께를 가진 원통 모형으로 되어 있으며 또한 칫솔헤드부(20)의 반대방향 말단은 개방되어 있다. 상기 외부쉘층(2)은 상기 내부 코어층(1)의 외면에 소정의 두께로 상기 내부 코어층(1)를 감싸고 있다.
본 발명은 일 실시예로서 내부 코어층; 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모이다.
보다 상대적으로 바람직한 다층 구조의 구강 건강용 칫솔모는 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층이 외부쉘층인 것으로, 통상의 칫솔모 재질의 내부 코어층 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸며, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 칫솔모이다. 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층이 외부쉘층인 경우 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분의 용출이 더 용이하고, 내부 코어층이 통상의 칫솔모로 구성되어 있어, 칫솔모의 탄성이나 물성에도 영향을 적게 미칠 수 있다.
상기 다층 구조의 칫솔모는 다층 구조가 없는 단일 코어 칫솔모에 비하여 기능성 성분의 함유량을 높이며 또한 효과적인 방출을 할 수 있는 놀라운 효과가 있다. 단일 코어 칫솔모에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 단순 혼입한 것은 칫솔모의 끊어짐 강도나 인장력, 탄력성 등 기본적인 품질 때문에 그 함유할 수 있는 양이 극히 제한적일 수 밖에 없다. 하지만 본 발명에 따른 다층 구조의 칫솔모는 외부쉘층 또는 내부 코어층에 기능성 성분을 함유하여, 칫솔모의 끊어짐 강도나 인장력, 칫솔모의 탄력성 등 기본적인 품질을 최대한 유지하면서 상기 기능성 성분들을 함유할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분들이 칫솔모 표면인 외부쉘층에 함유되고, 동시에 수용성 폴리머가 동시에 외부쉘층에 함유되면 양치시 수분 흡수에 의한 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분들의 더욱 효과적인 방출을 기대할 수 있다.
이하 본 발명의 칫솔모를 이루는 성분에 대하여 자세히 설명한다.
본 발명에 따른 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층에 포함되는 물질은 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분이다. 사용될 수 있는 성분으로는 항염항균제, 미백제, 시린이 완화제, 치석침착 방지제, 향미제, 구취제거제, 잇몸건강제, 충치예방제 또는 구강 세정 성분이 있으며 이에 한정된 것은 아니다.

본 발명에 따른 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분으로 바람직하게 죽염, 천일염, 제제소금, 정제염, 송염, 자염, 용융소금, 가공염 및 인산염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상의 염류 성분이, 더 바람직하게는 죽염, 인산염 및 송염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상이 사용되어 이를 포함하는 다층 칫솔모는 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방 및 잇몸질환 예방 등 각종 구강 질환 예방의 기능을 가질 수 있다. 죽염이란, 대나무 통 속에 넣어 구은 소금으로서, 상기 죽염은 삼보죽염, 개암죽염 또는 인산죽염에서 공급될 수 있다. 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분으로 죽염을 함유하는 층은 죽염 성분(더욱 바람직하게는 미세 죽염 분말), 고분자 물질 및 통상의 칫솔모를 제조하는데 사용되는 수불용성 고분자 물질을 포함한다.
본 발명에 따른 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층의 구성요소 중 하나는 고분자 물질이다. 더욱 바람직하게 상기 고분자는 물질은 수용성 고분자 물질이다. 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층에 수용성 고분자 물질을 포함한 칫솔모로 양치시, 양치압 이외의 수용성 고분자 물질의 수분 흡수로 인하여 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분의 방출이 최대한으로 높아질 수 있다.
바람직하게, 본 발명에 따른 고분자 물질로는 폴리아크릴산, 폴리(메쓰)아크릴레이트, 폴리비닐아세테이트 등의 폴리아크릴계 고분자; 셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시프로필메틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시메틸셀룰로오즈, 메틸셀룰로오즈, 에틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시메틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시에틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시에틸메틸셀룰로오즈, 카르복시메틸셀룰로오즈 등의 셀룰로오즈계 고분자; 폴리비닐알코올, 폴리에틸렌글리콜, 폴리프로필렌글리콜, 폴리프로필렌글리콜 공중합체 등의 폴리알콜계 고분자; 폴리비닐아세테이트 프탈레이트; 폴리에틸렌옥사이드; 라텍스(Latex); 셀락 (Shellac); 로진 왁스; 폴리아미드; 폴리에스터; 폴리올레핀; 실리콘; 및 합성고무로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 고분자 물질이 사용된다.
고분자 물질 중 더욱 바람직한 수용성 고분자 물질로는 폴리아크릴계 고분자, 셀룰로오즈계 고분자, 폴리알콜계 고분자, 폴리에틸렌옥사이드 등이 단독으로 또는 혼합하여 사용된다.
본 발명에 따른 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층의 구성요소 중 하나인 수불용성 고분자 물질은 통상의 칫솔모를 제조하는데 사용되는 물질이다. 예를 들어, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리트리메틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리우레탄, 나일론 성분 등과 같은 수불용성 고분자 물질을 의미하며 상기 예에 한정되지 않는다.
바람직하게, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층에 포함되는 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분의 함량은 전체 칫솔모 중량 대비 0.1중량% 내지 10중량%를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 좀더 바람직하게는 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 전체 칫솔모 중량 대비 0.5중량% 내지 5중량%를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분의 함량이 최종 칫솔모 중량의 0.1중량% 미만일 경우 양치시 성분의 방출이 미미하여 효과를 나타내기 어려우며, 10중량%초과인 경우에는 방사하여 칫솔모를 제조하는 것이 용이하지 아니하여 칫솔모 자체의 고유 물성을 유지하지 못하게 되는 문제점이 있다.
구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하지 않는 층(외부쉘층에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분이 함유하는 경우 내부 코어층, 내부 코어층에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 경우 외부쉘층)은 통상의 칫솔모를 제조하는 데 사용하는 물질이 포함된다. 예를 들어, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리트리메틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리우레탄, 나일론 성분 등과 같은 수불용성 고분자 물질을 의미하며 상기 예에 한정되지 않는다.
본 발명에 따른 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 내부 코어 층의 두께 및 외부쉘층의 두께는 1:1 내지 1: 10의 비율로 사용 목적에 따라 조절하여 사용 할 수 있다.
이하, 본 칫솔모 제조 방법 중 이중 코어 압출 방사 성형법을 이용한 과정을 설명한다.
상기 외부쉘층에 사용될 통상의 칫솔모 성분과 내부 코어층에 사용 될 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분 및 고분자 물질이 포함된 혼합성분을 서로 다른 원료투입구로 투입한다. 열을 가한 후 통상의 압출 방사 조건으로 방사하며, 층이 구분되도록 만들어진 압출 방사 성형기를 통과시킨다. 성형기를 통과한 이중 층 구조를 연신 공정과 냉각 공정을 통하여 적절한 강도 및 인장력을 가지도록 하여 칫솔모를 제조한다. 이때 외부쉘층과 내부 코어(core)층의 두께는 사용 목적에 따라 조절하여 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 다층 구조 칫솔모를 가진 칫솔을 이용하여 양치 시 양치압 및 수분에 의하여 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분이 방출되어 나오고 이러한 성분이 치아나 잇몸에 작용하여 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방 잇몸질환 예방 또는 구강 세정 효과 등 각종 구강 질환 예방에 도움을 주게 된다.
본 발명에 따르는 구강 건강용 탄성부재의 설명은 다음과 같다.
본 발명에 따른 구강 건강용 탄성 부재에 포함되는 물질은 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분이다. 사용될 수 있는 성분으로는 항염항균제, 미백제, 시린이완화제, 치석침착방지제, 향미제, 구취제거제, 잇몸건강제 또는 충치예방제가 있으며 이에 한정된 것은 아니다.

바람직하게 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분으로 바람직하게 죽염, 천일염, 제제소금, 정제염, 송염, 자염, 용융소금, 가공염 및 인산염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상의 염류 성분이, 더 바람직하게는 죽염, 인산염 및 송염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상이 사용되어 이를 포함하는 탄성부재는 항균, 항염, 향미, 소염, 치석예방, 시린이 예방 및 잇몸질환 예방 등 각종 구강 질환 예방의 기능을 가질 수 있다. 상기 죽염은 삼보죽염, 개암죽염 또는 인산과 죽염에서 공급될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 고분자 물질은 양치시 물리적 마찰 및 수분에 의하여 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분이 방출될 수 있도록 수용성 고분자 물질임을 특징으로 한다. 바람직하게 본 발명에 따른 수용성 고분자로는 폴리아크릴산, 폴리(메쓰)아크릴레이트, 폴리비닐아세테이트 등의 폴리아크릴계 고분자; 셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시프로필메틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시메틸셀룰로오즈, 메틸셀룰로오즈, 에틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시메틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시에틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드록시에틸메틸셀룰로오즈, 카르복시메틸셀룰로오즈 등의 셀룰로오즈계 고분자; 폴리비닐알코올, 폴리에틸렌글리콜, 폴리프로필렌글리콜, 폴리프로필렌글리콜 공중합체 등의 폴리알콜계 고분자; 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드 등이 단독으로 또는 혼합하여 사용된다.
본 발명에 따른 탄성체 물질은 통상의 탄성물질로 사용되는 성분을 사용한다. 예를 들어, EPDM(Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) 고무, SEBS(Styrene Ethylene Butadiene Styrene) 고무 및 실리콘(Silicone)고무 등이 발명의 효과를 이루기 위한 목적으로 사용되며 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
바람직하게, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 수용성 고분자 물질의 10 중량% 내지 90중량% 포함한다. 또는 바람직하게, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 전체 구강 건강용 탄성부재의 0.5중량% 내지 50중량%포함한다.
본 발명에 따른 구강 건강용 탄성부재는 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함한다. 상기 구강 건강용 탄성부재는 (a) 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분 및 수용성 고분자 물질을 혼합하여 만들어진 펠렛(pellet)상태의 성분과 (b) 탄성체로 만들어진 펠렛상태의 성분을 일정 비율로 혼합하여 통상의 압출 또는 사출 성형을 통하여 제조된다.
본 발명에 따른 구강 건강용 탄성부재는 구강 건강 위한 제품의 부분적으로 혹은 전체적으로 본 발명의 목적을 이루기 위하여 모든 범위의 사용 가능하고, 예를 들어 칫솔, 구강 청소용 고무패드 등으로 사용 가능하다. 가장 바람직하게 칫솔에 부분적 부품으로 잇몸 보호 및 잇몸 보호용 팁이나 패드로 사용 가능하다.
본 발명에 따른 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하는 칫솔의 작용기전은 팁 또는 패드에 함유되어 있는 구강 건강에 유용한 성분이 양치시 물리적 마찰 및 수분에 의하여 방출되어 나오고, 이러한 구강 건강에 유용한 성분이 치아나 잇몸에 작용하여 항균, 항염, 잇몸질환 등 각종 구강 질환 예방 및 구강 건강에 도움을 주게 된다. 따라서 통상의 칫솔용 치모가 가지는 물리적인 세정 효과뿐만 아니라 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분에 의한 다양한 효능을 효과적으로 구현함으로써 구강 건강에 상당한 도움을 준다.
이하 바람직한 실시형태인 상기 다층 구조의 구강 건강용 칫솔모 및 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 적어도 하나 이상을 포함하는 칫솔에 관하여 설명한다. 이하 칫솔에 사용되는 다층 구조의 구강 건강용 칫솔모 및 구강 건강용 탄성부재에 대한 자세한 사항은 상기 기재된 바와 같다.
첨부된 도면들을 참조로 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 대해서 상세히 설명하기로 한다. 이에 앞서, 본 명세서 및 청구범위에 사용된 용어나 단어는 통상적이거나 사전적인 의미로 한정해서 해석되어서는 아니 되며, 발명자는 그 자신의 발명을 가장 최선의 방법으로 설명하기 위해 용어의 개념을 적절하게 정의할 수 있다는 원칙에 입각하여 본 발명의 기술적 사상에 부합하는 의미와 개념으로 해석되어야만 한다. 따라서, 본 명세서에 기재된 실시예와 도면에 도시된 구성은 본 발명의 가장 바람직한 일 실시예에 불과할 뿐이고 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 모두 대변하는 것은 아니므로, 본 출원시점에 있어서 이들을 대체할 수 있는 다양한 균등물과 변형예들이 있을 수 있음을 이해하여야 한다.

도면을 참조하면, 칫솔(100)은 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지고 상기 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부(200); 상기 칫솔 헤드부 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모(10); 상기 칫솔 헤드부에 구비되는 팁(20); 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 적어도 일부를 이루는 패드(30)를 구비한다.
상기 칫솔모(10)는 원통 모형이며 내부 코어층(1) 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층(2)로 이루어져 칫솔 헤드부(20)의 상면에 형성되어 있다. 상기 내부 코어층(1)는 칫솔모(10)의 중앙에 칫솔모(10)의 길이방향으로 소정의 두께를 가진 원통 모형으로 되어 있으며 또한 칫솔 헤드부(200)의 반대방향 말단은 개방되어 있다. 상기 외부쉘층(2)은 상기 내부 코어층(1)의 외면에 소정의 두께로 상기 내부 코어층(1)를 감싸고 있다.
또한, 칫솔 헤드부(200)에는 칫솔모 및 본 발명에 따른 팁(20)이 존재한다. 상기 팁(20)은 칫솔 헤드부에 구비되며 예를 들어, 칫솔 헤드부의 상면, 하면 또는 측면에 잇몸 마사지 효과가 최대가 되도록 소정의 개수로 배치되도록 부착되거나 일체로 형성된다. 바람직하게 상기 팁(20)은 칫솔 헤드부에 부착되며 통상의 칫솔모와 나란한 방향으로 상면에 형성된다.
또한, 상기 패드(30)은 칫솔 헤드부(200)의 적어도 일부를 이루며 예를 들어, 칫솔 헤드부의 상면, 하면 또는 측면의 선단, 중단, 후단 등에 형성될 수 있으며, 헤드부의 길이방향으로 형성될 수도 있다.
본 발명에 따른 다층 구조의 칫솔모 및 탄성부재, 바람직하게 팁(20) 또는 패드(30)을 포함하는 칫솔의 다양한 조합으로 형성될 수 있다. 이러한 칫솔의 변형예들을 하기와 같다.
제1실시예에 따른 칫솔은 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부; 내부 코어층 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 구강 건강용 칫솔모;를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔이다.
상기 구강 건강용 칫솔에 있어 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층에 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
제2실시예에 따른 칫솔은 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부; 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모; 및 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부에 구비되는 팁(20); 을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔이다.

또한, 죽염 성분을 포함하는 외부쉘층은 상기의 수불용성 폴리머인 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트 성분 70중량%과 수용성 폴리머인 하이드록시프로필메틸셀룰로오즈 25 중량%, 그리고 실시예 1-1에서는 죽염 미세 분말 최종 칫솔모 전체의 1 중량%, 실시예 1-2에서는 죽염 미세 분말으로 최종 칫솔모 전체의 3 중량%, 실시예 1-3에서는 죽염 미세 분말 최종 칫솔모 전체의 5 중량%를 혼합하여 만들어 펠렛 형태로 만들어 주었다.
또한, 인산염 성분을 포함하는 외부쉘층은 상기의 수불용성 폴리머인 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트 성분을 90 중량%, 수용성 폴리머인 폴리에틸렌옥사이드 5 중량%, 그리고 실시예 1-4에서는 인산염 성분을 최종 칫솔모 전체 중량의 1 중량%, 실시예 1-5에서는 인산염 성분을 최종 칫솔모 전체 중량의 3 중량%, 실시예 1-6에서는 인산염 성분을 최종 칫솔모 전체 중량의 5 중량% 를 혼합하여 펠렛 형태로 만들어 주었다.
상기 내부 코어층에 사용될 통상의 칫솔모 성분인 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트 성분과 외부쉘층에 사용 될 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 하이드록시프로필메틸셀룰로오즈 및 죽염 또는 인산염 성분의 혼합성분을 서로 다른 원료투입구로 투입하였다. 열을 가한 후 통상의 압출 방사 조건으로 방사하며, 층이 구분되도록 만들어진 압출 방사 성형기를 통과시켰다. 성형기를 통과한 이중 층 구조를 연신 공정과 냉각 공정을 통하여 적절한 강도 및 인장력을 가지도록 하여 칫솔모를 제조하였다.
비교예로 사용된 칫솔은 통상적 칫솔모를 가진 칫솔이다.
기능성 성분을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모를 구비한 칫솔의 기능성 성분의 용출 효과
상기 칫솔 실시예의 칫솔을 가지고 자체 제작 한 칫솔모 모벌어짐 측정 기기를 사용하여 일정시간 브러싱 한 후 시간의 경과 및 기능성 성분의 함량에 따른 기능성 성분의 방출 농도를 측정하여 표 1 에 나타내었다.

상기 실시예에 나타난 바와 같이 죽염 및 인산염의 함량 및 시간의 경과에 따라서 죽염 및 인산염의 성분이 방출 되는 농도가 다르게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있으며, 또한 상기 실시예 외에 수용성 폴리머의 함량에 따라서도 방출되는 농도가 다르게 나타날 수 있게 되며, 상기 실시예에 의해 본 발명의 기술적 범위가 제한되는 것은 아니다.
기능성 성분을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모를 구비한 칫솔의 평가
실시예의 칫솔과 비교예의 칫솔을 사용하여 양치 효과를 비교 평가하였다. 본 발명에 따른 칫솔 또는 비교예 칫솔을 성인 남녀 40명에게 1일 2회 교대로 2주 동안 사용하게 하고 (1회 3분 양치), 매회 평가자가 5점 기준으로 평가하였다. 그 결과를 하기 표 2 및 표 3에 나타내었다.

3점 : 효과가 보통임.
2점 : 효과가 다소 약함.
1점 : 효과가 아주 약함.

상기 표 2 및 표 3에 나타나는 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 칫솔모를 이용한 경우 세정효과, 개운함, 치석예방효과, 시린이 예방효과 및 구강질환 예방 효과 등 양치 효과가 더욱 우수하였다.
<구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 포함하는 팁을 구비한 칫솔>
기능성 성분을 포함하는 팁을 구비한 칫솔의 제조
분쇄된 죽염 분말 펠렛과 수용성 폴리머인 폴리에틸렌옥사이드 펠렛 및 SEBS(Styrene Ethylene Butadiene Styrene) 펠렛을 사출 성형기에 혼합 투입하고 열을 가하였다. 칫솔헤드판의 융착면상에 형성된 채널로 사출시켜 이 채널을 따라 연결된 팁성형구로 유동체를 공급시키고 냉각시킴으로써 팁을 형성하였다. 식모기를 통하여 통상의 칫솔모를 구비한 칫솔을 제조하였다.
실시예 2-1에서는 분쇄된 죽염 분말 펠렛 5중량%와 수용성 폴리머인 폴리에틸렌옥사이드 펠렛를 15중량%와 펠렛 형태의 SEBS(Styrene Ethylene Butadiene Styrene) 80중량%를 사출 성형기에 혼합 투입하여 팁 내 죽염 함유량을 5중량%로하였고, 실시예 2-2에서는 분쇄된 죽염 분말 펠렛 10중량%와 수용성 폴리머인 폴리에틸렌옥사이드를 10중량% 및 펠렛 형태의 SEBS(Styrene Ethylene Butadiene Styrene) 80중량%를 사출 성형기에 혼합 투입하여 팁 내 죽염 함유량을 10중량%로 하였다.
비교예로 사용된 칫솔은 죽염성분이 혼합된 수용성 고분자 물질의 펠렛을 제외하고는 동일한 방법을 통하여 칫솔을 제조하였다.
기능성 성분을 포함하는 팁을 구비한 칫솔의 기능성 성분의 방출량 평가
상기 칫솔 헤드부에 팁을 형성하여 만든 실시예의 칫솔을 가지고 자체 제작 한 칫솔모 모벌어짐 측정 기기를 사용하여 일정시간 브러싱 한 후 시간의 경과 및 죽염함량에 따른 죽염 성분의 방출 농도를 측정하여 표 4 에 나타내었다.

기능성 성분을 포함하는 팁을 구비한 칫솔의 평가
실시예의 칫솔과 비교예의 칫솔을 사용하여 양치 효과를 비교 평가하였다. 본 발명에 따른 칫솔 또는 비교예 칫솔을 성인 남녀 40명에게 1일 2회 교대로 2주 동안 사용하게 하고 (1회 3분 양치), 매회 평가자가 5점 기준으로 평가하였다. 그 결과를 하기 표 5에 나타내었다.

Claims (21)

  1. 내부 코어층; 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 구조를 가지고, 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층에 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하는 층은 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분 및 고분자 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분의 함량은 상기 칫솔모의 전체 중량 대비 0.1중량% 내지 10중량%를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 항염항균제, 미백제, 시린이 완화제, 치석침착 방지제, 향미제, 구취제거제, 잇몸건강제, 충치예방제 및 구강 세정 성분으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 적어도 하나 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 죽염, 천일염, 제제소금, 정제염, 송염, 자염, 용융소금, 가공염 및 인산염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상의 염류 성분임을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 염류 성분은 죽염, 인산염 및 송염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상임을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  8. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 고분자 물질은 수용성 고분자 물질임을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔모.
  9. 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 상기 탄성부재의 0.5중량% 내지 50중량% 포함함을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 항염항균제, 미백제, 시린이 완화제, 치석침착 방지제, 향미제, 구취제거제, 잇몸건강제, 충치예방제 및 구강 세정 성분으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 적어도 하나 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재.
  12. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 죽염, 천일염, 제제소금, 정제염, 송염, 자염, 용융소금, 가공염 및 인산염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상의 염류 성분임을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 염류 성분은 죽염, 인산염 및 송염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상임을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재.
  14. 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부;
    내부 코어층 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 구강 건강용 칫솔모;를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층에 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
  16. 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부;
    상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모; 및
    구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부에 구비되는 팁(20); 을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
  17. 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부;
    상기 칫솔 헤드부의 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모; 및
    구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 적어도 일부를 이루는 패드(30); 를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
  18. 소정 두께 및 너비를 가지는 손잡이부와 연결된 칫솔 헤드부와, 상기 칫솔 헤드부 상면에 형성되는 칫솔모를 구비한 칫솔에 있어서,
    상기 칫솔모는 내부 코어층 및 상기 내부 코어층을 감싸는 외부쉘층을 포함하는 다층 구조의 칫솔모의 상기 내부 코어층 및 외부쉘층 중 적어도 하나 이상에 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분을 함유하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부 상면에 형성되는 구강 건강용 칫솔모;
    구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부에 구비되는 팁(20); 및
    구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분, 수용성 고분자 및 탄성체를 포함하는 구강 건강용 탄성부재를 포함하며 상기 칫솔 헤드부의 적어도 일부를 이루는 패드(30);중 적어도 하나 이상을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
  19. 제14항 내지 제18항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 항염항균제, 미백제, 시린이 완화제, 치석침착 방지제, 향미제, 구취제거제, 잇몸건강제, 충치예방제 및 구강 세정 성분으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 적어도 하나 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
  20. 제14항 내지 제18항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 상기 구강 건강에 유용한 기능성 성분은 죽염, 천일염, 제제소금, 정제염, 송염, 자염, 용융소금, 가공염 및 인산염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상의 염류 성분임을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
  21. 제20항에 있어서, 상기 염류 성분은 죽염, 인산염 및 송염으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나 이상임을 특징으로 하는 구강 건강용 칫솔.
